Dream stay at Paradis Hotel
Dream stay! The location is superb! White sandy beach, crystal clear ocean, beautiful sunset, wide variety of food choice, friendly staff, plenty of water sports activities, yoga class, etc etc. Our beachfront room (2nd floor) is just divine. Would love to come back again!!
A real paradise
Just like the name, perfect paradise in Mauritius. Spacious rooms with sea view, excellent food and service. Very well maintained property in a privileged spot in the wonderful le Morne beach. Lots of additional free of charge water sports activities, beautiful golf course, proper gym and the pristine white sand beach is right there. Probably one of my best hotel experiences and fantastic value for money! The scenery all around the hotel is also another big plus!!
Our recent stay at this incredible property was nothing short of amazing. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, with a breathtaking lagoon that adds a magical touch to the entire experience. What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the staff. They were incredibly nice and professional, always going out of their way to make us feel welcome. A special shoutout to Gloria from the reception, who was simply outstanding from the moment we arrived. She made sure everything was perfect for us, even going the extra mile to arrange a memorable family photoshoot in one of the private villas as the weather was not good. Gloria’s warmth and attention to detail truly made our stay unforgettable. The only minor feedback I have is that the wait time for a buggy can be a bit long. There’s definitely an opportunity for improvement here, but it didn’t detract too much from our overall experience. In summary, our stay was fantastic, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!
The property and the staff are top tier. The food is decent, but your options are limited, and it’s expensive, about $100USD for two every time you want to eat anything. The staff urges you to place reservations or else you risk having no place for dinner. The property is also really far from the airport, about 1.5hrs. For any taxi to come get you to go anywhere, even 10 mins away, is at least $100USD. For this reason I give this place a lower rating. I felt trapped, you either make reservations and pay a lot for food at the resort, or pay a lot for taxis to go off the resort. No uber, no other options.
Great beach getaway
A beautiful resort and great location. Friendly staff but not consistently with other staff compared to my previous hotel.
Pleasing
A nice experience
Overall a very pleasant stay at this resort.
Amazing Resort Location
Super Friendly Staff at the Whole Resort!! Location is Amazing!!
Nice place in Le Morne
Really nice facilities down in Le Morne. Very spread out rooms, so you are not on top of the other guests. Tons of beach access, beautiful water and a nice pool area. a few restaurants on site and access to the ones at the Dinarobin just a few minutes away by shuttle.
We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in a "Ocean Beachfront Room" on a "half-board" basis. Room was spacious with an amazing ocean view. The beach is vast and you can always find a place of your choosing. Food was top-level at all four restaurants. Most importantly, the staff was absolutely fantastic, especially, Yannick Balancy, who was absolutely amazing! He helped us a lot both prior to our arrival and during our stay. He was very helpful, welcoming and always assisted us with anything we needed, in order to make our stay memorable and perfect! We are definitely coming back!
Beautiful setting, pristine beaches, great service, wonderful amenities. We were at the resort when COVDI19 exploded in the island and although interruptions to entertainment occurred and changes had to be made (understandably so) we felt very comfortable and at ease. the front desk manager (Yannick) was very accommodating and tried his best to facilitate our stay at the resort, our flights got cancelled and he extended our stay without any hesitation
The stay at Paradise Beachcomber in Le Morne was amazing. And all the staff was warm and welcoming.
Very mice hotel located at an amzaing beach- Le morne. Excellent and exceptional services given by all the staff; a special thank's to Yannick; customers relationship manager who took care of us and gave us a magnificent stay at the hotel. As well as Madvi! Many thank's to you both!
Booked 2 rooms for the family. At check in everything was good. However, in the afternoon requested for a taxi from the hotel to go shopping, the agreement was that the driver would take us shopping and wait to bring us back. To our surprise the taxi driver (Raj) left us stranded at the shopping mall in the middle of nowhere. we were concerned as we did not have data to call anyone and did not know what to do. After walking for a while we got another taxi to bring us back to the hotel. I was furious and wanted to speak to the manager Ramesh to follow up as to why their taxi driver left us stranded at the mall. He is probably the most unreasonable person I have met in my life. Instead of the manager apologising for not being able to accommodate the clients safety concerns he had the audacity to tell me that the taxi service is not part of the hotel therefore he don't know what to do?! seriously! Mr RAMESH THAT IS A TAXI ON YOUR PROPERTY THAT WAS PROVIDED TO ME. I DO NOT KNOW HIM. YOU AS A MANAGER NEEDS TO KNOW WHO IS WORKING UNDER YOUR PROPERTY. YOUR RECEPTIONIST CALLED HIM FOR ME!! He does not even know how to hold a proper conversation in English or knows what is good customer service. Beachcomber Resorts and Hotels need to investigate and see what kind of manager they hire with no customer service skills. I am definitely not going back to this hotel. Awful service!!
Paradise in Mauritius
Beautiful hotel and area. Outstanding friendly staff. Recommend it highly. Try go all inclusive - Alcohol very expensive.
Amazing beach and property, great all round location highly recommend
I need my money back
They take a deposit with wrong currency and until now (after almost 6 weeks) they didn't return my money
Stay besides the beach
Very nice hotel and beautiful beach!!! Many activities but need to book for space. A lot of nice fish under the water to see and we really enjoy it
Stay by the beach
Very nice hotel and good beach. Need to book for the activity and sometime will get full fast. We were happy to stay here because the sea is really nice and beautiful
I was amazed by the perfection of the Paradis - in all aspects. Breakfasts, the rooms, the free included wakeboarding as much as my sons liked. Just a dream vacation really!
Great value for money. Complimentary water sports and amazing dining options. The staff were lovely and very attentive. The beach is very secluded and spectacular.
Beach facilities best in its class. Staff super efficient and friendly. Dining facilities what you would expect from a 5 star establishment. Overall this is to be my go to place every year.
Almost paradise
Paradis, so close to being paradise! Beautiful location, large, comfortable rooms with great AC. Beaches are also nice with tons of free water activities to choose from. Pool is way too crowded. Food was just ok and food the wait at most stations took too long. Great gym and ping pong, yes please! My advice run over to use the quiet facilities at the Dinorobin and then you’ll spend your days in quiet.
A lovely hotel right on the beach
Had a lovely experience - from our hotel room being VERY comfortable, the food excellent, the restaurants very enjoyable and staff all very helpful. Would so recommend this hotel to anyone.
Nice location with Le Morne in background
Hotel is nice. The room was large and the balcony overlooking the garden was also large and had comfortable seating. A couple of negatives - all tapware is 'old style' and non-intuitive you need to turn the hot/cold water taps in opposite direction to open and close, which we found annoying. It takes a while before the hot water comes pouring from the tap so you will need to let it run for a while. The wardrobe is inside the bathroom, which is not a great idea considering the increased humidity inside that room. Towel service is not very reliable, almost always there was a towel missing. Food served at all restaurants is expensive and not that good... A couple of years back the management started to renovate the resort and did one third of it and the abandoned the idea. The Spa is a ghost of the former past. Nobody knows exactly what they do there and how much it costs.
Paradise revisited...
Honeymoon 1997, 2nd honeymoon 2017 - 'Paradis' is a special place for us and a special place full stop. From its uniquely beautiful location beneath Mt Le Morne to its crystal blue waters and white sand and all its luxury inbetween. Paradise indeed...
Magnificent hotel family friendly
Decor amazing, rooms huge location perfect as are amenities, also consider sister resort Dinarobin, food even better and staff excel.
Wonderful resort. Hotel upgraded us to full board. No green fees for golf. Went to sister hotel (Dinarobin) twice for meals. Great facilities. Drink prices were excessive as expected.
Paradis means paradise.
It's winter time very nice weather. Windy maybe food excellent plenty hotels too choose. If you're a golfer good challenging course and it's free if you stay in the hotel.
Not really a 5 star- probably was 30 years ago
Rooms are dated especially the tropical rooms. Service by some staff is awful. Complained and got it resolved but should not have had to speak to the manager. Expensive for what it is. Beaches are pleasant.
Nice Hotel, beautifull area, perfect beach, bad
Nice hotel, beautifull area, perfect beach. Service bad, not like 5* Hotel, overpriced, Food & beverages in hotel very expensive. For such price level, the service must be absolutly perfect, but service is bad.
Beautiful and peaceful
from arrival treated extremely well. loved the surroundings and the vibe of the place. staff extremely helpful and polite and respectful. very private and we will definitely be back
Great hotel but food horribly expensive
Very kind staff, great hotel with a lot of facilities but left with a strange feeling of getting ripped off. Very well isolated in Le Morne, the management went for a risky strategy of giving you good comfort but no alternative but to spend all your money once you are there. Even if you rented a car (as we did), you still have to drive a lot for find any alternative which eventually lead you to give up and pay the price. Be ready, once you’re there, the checkout bill will be salty. Some figures: Minimum price for a lunch or dinner:: 65 EUROS per person. Diving baptism: 125 EUR!? (can it be crazier?) Standard diving : 65 EUR Airport transfer: 140 EUR Random comments: Food is incredibly expensive but not bad in average (great breakfast, and nice fish restaurant), expect for the Italian restaurant (“not impressive” to say the least, Pizza with frozen pasta in 5 stars hotel?) The Spa was being rebuilt during our stay so not accessible. Sailing club is very good: lot of windsurf, catamaran, etc. Nice golf Rooms are relatively big but very dark : you would expect at least 3 more lamps. Bedlinens in very poor conditions (lot of holes) totally unacceptable for a 5 stars hotel
One of the best beach hotels in Mauritius.
Absolutely wonderful hotel, great property right on the beach and excellent service. You get two hotels for the price of one, because the sister hotel Dinarobin is right next door and is also accessible if you are staying at Paradis. You therefore get spoilt for choices - there are about 8 restaurants to chose from, multiple cuisines for variety, great fitness centre and multiple tennis courts, and a gorgeous par 72 golf course on the beach with wonderful views of the Indian Ocean on one side and the mountains on the other.
Not as good as expected considering the price...
Con's: -A charter hotel with too many screaming children (and parents) -In some cases ignorant staff (French snobby attitude) -You are not allowed to wear shorts at dinner (not clearly informed during reservation) -You have to book a restaurant 3 days in advance to get a seat Pro's: -Nice location -Beautiful scenery -We were upgraded
PLEASANT STAY
A good location. Nice beach. Always available free sunbeds. High-end restaurants, tasty and varied food.
Not worth the money we paid. Not a 5-star hotel!
The first room we checked-in: The interior of the hotel room was old and worn out. Especially the bathroom, it has black stain and mold on the wall, shower head and holder were rusty. Toilet seat lid was a bit broken. We rejected the room, then, they arranged the other room, but: all the bed pillows were with yellow stains.....disgusting! Hidden areas of the furniture were full of dust. Torn surface on the extra bed mattress. Again, shower head and holder were with limescale deposits and rust. Toilet brush was very dirty and old. No light for shower area! Cleanliness and hygiene of the room was not up to the standard. Maintenance has been neglected! After complaint, the rearrange and clean-up have took us almost 5 hours frustrated waiting time. It was a shame that the hotel location is paradise but the management is not five-star as rated. We felt like being cheated as we paid CHF500 per night for 3 adults including breakfast. They just put us into somewhere worst than a 4-star hotel room.
Perfect holiday for our entire family
We went to The Paradis Hotel & Golf Club last year just with our daughter and this year we returned with all three of our grown up children. It was just as good but made perfect to have us all together. Everything we look for in a holiday is there. Fabulous hotel, stunning rooms overlooking the beach, the staff just cannot do enough for you, facilities for golf, tennis, gym and watersports are all excellent. A range of lovely restaurants. We did B&B as we like to explore local restaurants as well as eating in the hotel restaurants. One thing to mention though is DO NOT fly Air France. Four of us flew directly with Air Mauritius which was fine but one of our party joined us a few days later and had to go via Paris. On arriving at Paris he was told his connecting flight had been cancelled and was left in Paris for almost 24 hours before they could put him on another flight. He was put up in a tiny hotel room at his cost (which he will have to claim back) with vouchers that covered a sandwich for his dinner and another sandwich for the following day's lunch. Plus and obviously the most upsetting part he lost a whole day of his holiday. Why they flew him from Heathrow to Paris and left him there was never explained as clearly his chances of getting an earlier flight from London would have been greater. On arriving in Mauritius he found his suitcase hadn't been put on his flight. Air France are a disgrace.
Great full service resort on several km of beach
Impeccable service, highly professional staff and great facilities, interesting golf course, serious tennis, sailing, gym equipment
Internet awful
Internet (which I think is the most important thing nowdays for modern overall life) is a DISASTER.
A beautiful Honeymoon, but...
We have spent a wonderful holiday, but the hotel is not the right place for honeymooners. It is a wonderful family hotel with lots of activities. The location is outstanding, the hotel staff phantastic and extremely friendly. However, it is not luxury 5-star.... Nevertheless, again, thank you to the hotel team...
It was an amazing experience.Found the service outstanding, although the rates were somewhat on the higher side.
Excellent!
Great experience! Staff is very friendly and the resort is beautiful. Can't ask for more!!
Could not provide any invoices
Hotel does not provide any invoices, it brings much inconvenience to the guests who need to submit the reimbursement sheet to the company.
Mom & Sons Bonding in Paradise!
Fantastic hotel! Most likely situated in the most beautiful spot in the whole of Mauritius. Stunning sunsets, lovely golf course, beautiful and easy snorkeling, great fishing opportunities (at an additional cost, but nonetheless great) and swimming with a school of dolphins simply just indescribable (bookings made with independent tour operators on the beach). An underwater camera is a must have! Wish we had one to capture the special moment. All in all, not the cheapest of hotels, but in my mind, well worth every penny (or rather very expensive South African Rand!!). Would love to return one day!
great stay
Everything was perfect. The room was well placed and the service was excellent
exceptional beach hotel
The hotel facilities are excellent. The only problem is the cost of food which can be as expensive as your room rate. I guess it is better to be on an half or full board part of a package tour.
Wonderful holiday
The hotel had everything we wanted. Our room was beautiful with an enormous en suite bathroom and literally a few steps to the beach. The water sports, gym and tennis were excellent. The restaurants were all good and the service was extremely good. All the staff were very helpful - we had a marvellous holiday.
Do you like salesman bothering you on your lounge chair?
The Paridis is in a beautiful location and main facilities are incredibly elegant. However, my overall experience here was not pleasant. The check in staff very was arrogant. We were served an iced lemon greeting drink which was actually very warm water at the bottom with lemon and ice on top. The person assigned to explain the facilities to us found my American accent very humorous. He warned me that the dress code for dining was long pants and covered shoes. Once he realized that was what I was wearing there was an odd tension. While loading my luggage into one of the golf carts used to take guests from reception to the accommodation facilities one of the staff made a joke to another staff member that I was bringing a bottle of water with me, not knowing that I understood French. What was most unusual is that after I put my bags in my room and relaxed on a lounge chair on the beach, I was approached out of the blue by a very persistent local trying to sell me a game of Mauritian ‘solitaire’; then by another salesman trying to sell me beach towels. Apparently the Paridis allows locals to walk up and down the main pathway along the beach trying to sell the guests shells, games, towels etc. I told the front desk that I did not intend to spend my vacation battling with salesman while I’m trying to relax and they told me to “just tell them to go away”. Mind you this is all on their property, not some public beach. On a positive note the La Palma restaurant on the beach was a great experience. Thinking back the waiter was hesitant about giving us a table on the sand as they describe in their book but eventually agreed. Get there early because they close at 10PM.
Nice Olace Nice staff
Everyone here speaks English and it was an excellent introduction to Mauritus. It is far fri= =om the airport but they have a great brunch, even if their maple syrup is molasses. Excellent gym/fitness area. Clean.
Quite, romantic, good for relaxing, enjoying
Free water sports and activities, nice food but little varieties, nice see views
Amazing service, beautiful beach
The staff at the resort were absolutely fantastic - incrediby polite but still very friendly. The waiters and restaurant staff went out of their way to accommodate our very specific dietary requirements. Our room was always clean and beach towels were replaced daily. The resort is located quite far from the airport (about an hour's drive) but it was worth it for the beautiful beach.
Fantastic!!!!
Absolutely stunning resort! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
One of the best hotels I have ever been We will definitely come back soon
I was at Paradis in the first weeks of September. It is literally a paradise on earth. The hotel and the staff is amazing. Super friendly, polite and highly professional. The hotel is located at Le Morne which is from my pov the most beautiful beach in Mauritius right next to the Le Morne Brabant Mountain. The amnenities of the hotel are perfect. Free water sports spot that offers free water skiing, standup paddle, windsurfing, kayaking, snorkeling and sailing. They have a bigger pool and a paddling pool. There is also little golf car shuttles that pick you up and bring you to the restaurants or reception from the villas. There is a very well equipped gym and you can borrow bicycles. Also they have a beautiful tennis court. In the evenings they prepare beach volleyball too. For people that like it more quiet I can recommend the villas at the south in the direction of Dinarobin (belongs also to Beachcomber) as it was my favorite beach spot. The villas are super clean and we always had warm water available. The property is big so you never have the feeling it’s crowded or so, sometimes I though we were alone there. as to the management that make the operations smooth. Thank you for this beautiful time. For more details and photos checkout my google review on google maps by searching for Beachcomber Paradis. Regards Alex
Eine sehr schöne Anlage, tolles Ambiente, super Lage.
superbe sejour
Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa | Hotel in Le Morne | Travala.com
We had a fantastic 5 days at this resort. Everything worked very well. Our room had a wonderful terrace/balcony, was spacious, clean with all the necessary amenities. The beach was a stone throw from our accommodation; sandy and a little rocky like all beaches in Mauritius. Food was very good, both the Indian and Italian buffets, as well as the a la carte. My only gripe is the cost of wine, which is true of all hotels in Mauritius. Many Brits/French and Russians.
