We were supposed to stay for 4 days, we arrived at 3am and checked out at 3pm. Terrible location, very noisy. Felt unsafe in the environment.

Long weekend in Athens

Very well located hotel in Athens. Walking distance from atractions, bars, restaurants and night live. Would certainly stay there again.

Best location for young and young at heart

2nd time at the hotel, perfect location and nice clean comfortable rooms. the standard rooms are on the smaller size with a tiny no view at all balcony. Last time there I had a much better room but even that I was entitled to a free upgrade I was told maybe tommorrow which never came. breakfast was good at a restaurant nearby. I would still definetely recommend the place for altogather good experience

wondefull hotel in a verry good location

the hotel is located in a verry good location. close to many tourist points of interest, the neighborhood full with restaurants cafe's bars some with live music, verry nice roof with a look on the acropolis the staff is friendly and helpfull

Nicely located, rooms comfortable fun surroundings.

I really liked the location of this hotel. We were in a junior suite and the room size was good. The room was decorated nicely. The bed was quite hard as were the pillows. Our biggest complaint was noise both outside from the streets and inside (our room was near lobby and elevator). Everything echoed-even small sounds. The breakfast at nearby restaurant was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again! I would request a room higher up. View from rooftop is amazing.

Wonderful Staff

The hotel and the staff were amazing but it was a little noisy, not only from outside, which was expected, but as I was on the same level as reception there was some noise overnight as people checked in.

The property was very clean and the staff very polite. The location is great, surrounded by shops, restaurants and walking distance to the main attractions. The breakfast is a short walk to another location. The breakfast choice was very limited, one choice was plain croissant with jam, this was all my wife could eat from the choices but this was not available for at least 2 of the 4 days we stayed.

Good clean rooms, great location to walk everywhere.

Nicel lttle boutique hotel just metres from Monastiraki Square. The area was buzzing with activity but our room faced an internal courtyard so nice and quiet. The room was not large but well appointed, clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was at a nearby hotel and more than adequate. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The only negative was the tiny, oddly shaped lift and most of the time we took the stairs.

A great place, we will stay there again

Stayed two nights. Wished we could stay for a week. Clean room, very comfortable bed, good shower water pressure (rain shower head). Reasonably priced. _Great_ location close to cafe society, shopping, dozens of dining options, and 15 minutes to the major tourist attractions. Friendly and helpful staff, 24-hour desk. A very nice rooftop deck with wonderful views day and night of the Acropolis and Parthanon. BYOB. I recommend a higher floor street side room... noise was not a problem (we were 4th floor) and it gets afternoon shade (necessary in Sept when it is 85+ degrees. Important--as others mention the elevator is small and there are lots of stairs between floors.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, however our room was very noisy. I could hear street noise from outside (which was bearable) and other guests in the hallways during all hours of the night (not so bearable).

Not the best street but it’s close to monastaraki. While the outside may deceive, the rooms are truly 4 star and very nice.

Great location, very nice place. The staff was really kind. The room was nice and clean, little bit small, but convenient.

The staff at the front desk were great. Ours was always available and a great communicator, great English and Greek. The room was cozy but nice with even a small kitchen. Getting there can seem complicated, but once you have the directions it's a breeze. I would not recommend using a car, the area is difficult to drive in especially at night let alone finding parking. The elevator can also be a little sketchy as it's super small and slow. If you have fears of tight spaces, use the stairs!

very nice hotel close to everything in athens would stay again

Stayed in the grand penthouse unit (601) and we loved it. Had a view of the Acropolis but the real bonus was the outdoor bathtub..was so nice to come back and cool off after a day of exploring. Location is great as you are close to everything. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice quaint smaller hotel very close to the acropolis and tons of shops and restaurants. Rooftop lounge area has fantastic views. Included breakfast just down the street at a quaint cafe, was delicious! Would recommend PÁME.

Pame House was an absolute gem! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all the major sights. The design of the hotel is modern and stylish, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere - probably the best hotel shower I’ve ever had! The staff were fantastic, always friendly and eager to help with anything we needed, in person or through WhatsApp. Breakfast was a real treat, served just down the street at a charming café with incredible food. We loved every moment of our stay and would go back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend Pame House for a perfect stay in Athens!

Pame House is a great location when staying in Athens. It is in an affluent area with restaurants, bars and cafes. It is walking distance to many other areas of interest which was a bonus. Additionally, the staff at the hotel are very nice and offered us a free upgraded room at check in with free breakfast vouchers for a place next door. I would definitely recommend Pame House as it is clean, friendly and in a great location.

Great Location, Room, View, and Staff

The hotel is a few minutes walk from Monastiraki square. Basically anything you’d like within Athens is an easy walk. Tons of shops and restaurants next to the hotel as well as at the Square. The Hop on Hop Off Buses run from the square. And there’s a metro station right there as well. It’s at the bottom of the acropolis. We bought the hop on hop off pass and barely used it because we could walk almost everywhere. Staff was amazing. We were able to check in early as our room was empty. They communicated with us via WhatsApp and even offered to bring us a crib when we forgot to request it. The bathtub on the terrace was wonderful after a day exploring. The suites had a tea kettle and a nespresso maker and were restocked with tea and nespresso capsules daily. The rooftop lounge had a great view of the city. From the description of a bar and lounge I thought it was a restaurant but it was just the bar table for you to byo. Hotel breakfast was served at a restaurant across the street. There is also a little shop at reception with drinks and Hamam towels and such. Highly recommend Pame house and hop to return soon!

The property is very centrally located. Right in the middle of all the activity. Great restaurants, cafes, shopping and a 15 minute walking distance to the Acropolis. However 15 minutes walk in the heat can seem like a long time. There is a great rooftop sitting area with great views to the Acropolis. The only downside to this hotel was the noise level. We were on the first floor and we could hear all the noise coming from the streets, especially during the weekend when the local bands were playing at the night club it felt like you were in the nightclub. Because of the noise levels I wouldn’t stay at the hotel again.

Location of the property is in an alley so a big van or shuttle would not be able to drop you off directly. The property is center of a lot of bars and restaurants. The only issue are the elevators. It's small (can fit 1 person and 1-2 luggage at a time) and it can take awhile to get down if you have a lot of luggages. Overall the staff is very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again.

Nice short stay at PAME before friends joined on my trip. Check in was simple and the team helped arrange a taxi for me. Very walkable with lots of dining options. Breakfast at the nearby cafe was simple but tasty and with great vibes and good coffee. Extremely close to nearby attractions in the city center. Their google map places to visit (QR Code in room) has some great gems for food, drinks, and cafes.

The staff were accommodating and provided a suite when I extended my stay. The balcony rooms have great views and the bathtubs were a great touch. Although when cold outside the water cools quickly- still worth trying. Best of all was the rooftop view. Will definitely stay here again when in Athens

Lovely stay! Would definitely stay in Pame House again. Center of a great and happening neighborhood, and had a great time.

Wonderful visit to Athens

We stayed at hotel PÁME for 6 nights and enjoyed our stay here. Service was great and friendly. Wonderful breakfast provided at a little restaurant across the street. Location is just absolutely perfect. Close to everything most everything was within walking distance. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Athens.

Need earplugs

Bring earplugs (hotel definitely should supply them) we got balcony with city view and Thursday and Friday night the partying goes until 3:30 AM. even with earplugs it sid not block the noise. Location is insanely central but if you want to sleep think twice

at night there was a lot of noise coming from the street starting at 10 pm until 3 am including music,

When my cab driver dropped me off and there was just a door with the name above it, I was a little concerned. However, once I got to my room I was very pleased. It was clean and modern and the location was fabulous - steps out the door to many restaurants and shops and other sites of interest. I am a single woman travelling alone and I felt very safe at the hotel and in the area. The staff was very accommodating as well.

All was good except, very noisy area at night Not quiet for sleeping.

Simply perfect hotel in a perfect location, nothing to add, 10 out of 10

Breakfast....you get a voucher to a local cafe. Ok but complicated. Reception, Not on street level, Hotel only have a small corridor on street level...so it is easy to miss if you do not know the Hotels location. Taxi drivers have no clue where it is.

Excellent Stay

Lovely boutique hotel in an Excellent location! Was able to walk to everything…. Even the Acropolis! Restaurants and shops right out the door! Staff is incredible so friendly and super helpful. My daughter got sick so they phoned a doctor to come to the hotel and a pharmacy is at the end of the block. They also assisted in our laundry service. Very friendly and, I thought, went above and beyond! Highly recommend staying at the Pame House!

Hotel is tucked away in the centre of the Monastraki area, close to the square and the metro station. Room was super clean, and with a balcony complete with bathtub! We were only staying for one night, but for a longer stay it would have been good to have a little more storage for unpacking things. Breakfast was at a cafe just across the road, very nice local place with lovely fresh options.

Good hotel, but "include Breakfast" is problematic

"include Breakfast" they have breakfest from 8:30 AM. we had to leave the hotel early morning but they said they will give me box - in the morning the external resturaunt of the hotel ( hotel partner) was closed and I did not have my breakfast even I paid for it

Lovely base for 4-night stay

Had a wonderful stay here for our four-night stay in the center of Athens. Friendly staff and quick check-in. Room is very comfortable with nice linens and comfy bed. Terrace with umbrella, settee, table and bathtub/shower were fun! Living room area nice to have for relaxing (as well as the terrace). Thank you for assisting with my package delivery. Breakfast is served at the restaurant across the street and is a nice benefit-good food. Close to Monastiraki Sq and easy to take Metro to/from ATH airport. Just a short walk. Matsoudis market nearby, as well as a number of other good restaurants In Psyrii. Small elevator (for 2 people, no bags or 1 person + luggage). Thank you for the bottle of wine upon check-in! I would stay here again!

Extremely quirky place, but none the worse for it. The room was lovely, the breakfast (provided by the cafe across the road) was excellent, and slap bang where youd want to stay. Cracking.

3 amazing days at Pame house

It was amazing, the stuff is very polite and helpful. At first we had a room with a balcony to the Main Street with all bars so it was a bit noisy for us. We have requested to change a room to the other direction for the next days and it was fulfilled by the stuff even when the hotel was fully booked.

Very accommodating and good view of the acropolis from the roof terrace.

This is a great place to stay in a terrific part of Athens. Check in is easy (make sure you have WhatsApp) and the room was super clean with a very good AC. I would totally recommend to anyone visiting Athens.

Perfect spot for my husband and I as well as two other couples that were traveling together. Nice modern vibe, super helpful staff, clean rooms. We loved the location of the hotel - lots of restaurants and bars to enjoy in the evening and easy walking access to all the sites in Athens. We will recommend this hotel to our friends and would love to visit again if ever in Athens.

Great place but not great wifi.

Room was very modern and comfortable. Especially loved the large shower. The street noise didn't really bother me as long as I used earplugs, slept like a baby. My only negative was the wifi sucked. Went in and out the two days I was there. Difficult if your phone doesn't have an international plan. The neighborhood was great and the included breakfast at the restaurant nearby was delicious and they had the sweetest waitress ever.

Right in the heart of night life, so you may need earplugs if you want to sleep early. Breakfast (included) at nearby restaurant was good. 50 EUR for ride to airport.

The staff here was amazing and really helped us get around Athens and take advantage of the things around the hotel!

This hotel centrally located, staff was very helpful and knowledgable. Just be prepared for staircase if you are travelling with a lot of luggage and can't fit into the small elevator!

Loved staying at Pame , great area , we loved the music and lifestyle of the area, close to restaurants. We used the hop on/off bus which the stop is just a few mins away. Friendly staff , the. Bath was welcome in the hot weather. View of the Acropolis from the rooftop was awesome, we sat up there having a few drinks in the evening. I would certainly recommend.

Staff was fantastic. Easy access to everything

It was clean, friendly, the wine was a nice touch, and the staff were lovely. If we were MUCH younger - and if there weren't a pandemic going on - we might have been amused by the night-time activity right at the front door and up and down the street. It was techno-boom-music and shoulder to shoulder crowds. Not for us, returning from dinner at 11 pm.

The staff were amazing and they made our stay awesome. They were so helpful and would arrange our transportation and set up our excursions for us. Rooms were clean and everything was in walking distance

Location and Staff

I was very impressed with the location. Only 10 minute walk to flea market and another 10 to Acropolis area. I am also so happy with the hotel and staff. They made us reservations for a dinner with music and a taxi to the airport. We stayed in the penthouse and were very happy with the balcony and view. The air conditioner was fantastic as it was very hot. Do not hesitate to book this hotel.

Excellent choice.

Highly recommend. Excellent location. Easy walk to Monastiraki square and many of the attractions on the must-see list. Turn right when leaving and it is less than a five minute walk to Monastiraki square and the attractions beyond. Turn left and in less than a minute you’ll be surrounded by more wonderful restaurants than you could possibly eat at during a short stay. The breakfast is at a nearby restaurant that is only a two or three minute walk. Great service and great food. Housekeeping did a great job. No complaints. Sitting on our balcony drinking coffee in the morning or winding down after a long day of sightseeing may have been my favorite parts of the whole trip. A word of warning though, if you book a balcony room make sure you get one facing the street. We noticed that there were a few balconies facing an inside “courtyard” that won’t give you much more than a wall to look at. If you have a car, I honestly have no idea where you would park, and considering how crazy and congested the traffic is in Athens I wouldn’t suggest getting one anyway. The hotel is on a narrow street and depending on the time of day you arrive and depart a taxi may not be able to drop you off right in front of the place so you’ll be dragging your luggage a ways. Very friendly staff and overall a wonderful experience.

Staff was amazing , unfortunately the area surrounding the hotel was so loud it ruined everything. If you stay here know that it is a loud bar area till 3-6am

The staff went out of their way to assist... super friendly. However, two complaints. The first, the picture of the room in the first correspondence was NOT the room we were in. It was like the picture shown in this e-mail. Our TV went out, was told it would be fixed by our last night... it was not. Even so, I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Very nice serviced apartment

Excellent location in down town of down town Athens. Lovely sceneries wherever you look but that part of the city is pretty worn out and lots of graffiti. Nice people, good food and outstanding support from service people. Smart service concept using whatsapp.

Beyond expectations

We trusted the reviews on Hotels.com and in fact the reality exceeded all expectations, the hotel location is fantastic for nightlife and touring the city by foot, the reception girls are super service knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful. The rooms and hotel very modern and clean. It seems that there’s nothing missing from what you need. We will definitely come back

Great vibe, very central

Great place to stay, super central and walkable (about 5 mins) to a central metro station that takes you directly to the airport. Great dining and bar options nearby too. Check in was very easy, though the hotel "lobby" is tiny. Front desk staff allowed us to store our bags until our room was ready later in the afternoon. Room was spacious and the balcony was a great touch. Roof deck was AMAZING. We drank wine and overlooked the acropolis before dinner. Would definitely stay here again! Great vibe.

Pame House - 5 star service

The Pame House had the most amazing service I ahve experienced. They sent me a welcome text the day of my stay, were super helpful and even gave us a boxed breakfast the night before we left because the restaurants were going to be closed. It is a modern boutique hotel in excellent shape and located literally 5 minutes walk from the Acropolis. Absolutely 5 star service

Receptionist was friendly and informative. Rooms are clean and simple. Hotel location is great to go places. I will stay again.

Compact, clean and friendly

Extremely friendly check in and out. Staff very helpful in securing transportation and finding local sites. Shower stall lacked a curtain which resulted in copious amounts of water outside the shower, but that was the only negative thing about our stay. Lots of restaurants close by and we felt very safe. We would stay there again whenever we are back in Athens.

Great Stay

First time visiting Pame House and definitely will not be the last. Very nice welcome, with friendly and attentive staff, going above and beyond to make the stay a great experience. The Pame House, will need to update the WiFi (not great signal in the room) and work more in the box breakfast (personal view; but, it was great to see that had also that choice for early starters).

We love the location a lot, most of the attractions are within 15 min walk. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We were a little unlucky that the neighborhood was undergoing water system repair, so the water supply was shut off several times for a few hours.

Everything about our stay at the Pame House was EXCELLENT! The front desk manager was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to help us in any and every way. The hotel room was so big and beautiful and we loved the bathtub on the balcony. The location was perfect - only a 15 minute walk to the Acropolis and very close to fun restaurants/bars. The breakfast each morning was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel!

The staff were terrific. The rooms are modern and spacious . Bathrooms have modern fixtures. Rooms at front are noisy so my recommendation is book a room facing the rear. Breakfast is served at neighboring hotel(50 yards). Food was good but service was poor. It did not take away from our enjoyment.

I would like to have had an iron and board in the room, extra trash can in living space and a cold refrigerator. The hotel is perfectly centered around all of the action.

Very convenient location to bars and great restaurants. Near transit though I just walked everywhere. Note it’s not a quiet area due to bars/restaurants. Excellent breakfast!!! I love the balcony bathtubs. I do wish you could fill up the whole bath without water getting cold first. I also wish it wasn’t a shower and that it was more private, but I just put bubbles in prior to using.

Centrally located close to everything , walk to a lot of good restaurants, museums , shops , train station 5 minutes walk. An best of all the person in charge Nadia excellent service above & Beyond will satisfied all of your needs, kudos to her very friendly helpful and reliable, good breakfast in a local restaurant across the street.

Great location.

Very nice room in a good area. The room was plenty big for 2 people and was very clean Lots of places to eat and drink right around the hotel.

Great stay

The receptionists were amazing, available on counter and via WhatsApp almost all day long, happy to help and give recommendations which were very useful for us. The room was clean and nice. The only issue we had was a place to work, the WiFi in the room was weak, the rooftop has no WiFi and the patio was opening only towards 8:30 which was late for our work schedule.

unfortunately I visited Greece while the country was being shut down. The staff made sure to make that my stay was as comfortable as they could. Breakfast is included which is great. The Resterant is a little off site (1 Min Walk). The restaurant was great, Beautiful decor. If you don’t mind exploring on your own the hotel is within walking distance from many of the main attractions. The hotel is also WhatsApp friendly!!!!! major plus!

It is conveniently located and there are a lot of nice restaurants around. The room is a bit small but given the lower price it is reasonable and acceptable. There was one morning where we had to woke up really early for a tour to the Meteora, the receptionist was very nice and allowed us to change our breakfast option (served by a cafe nearby) to packing sandwiches at a shop right opposite to Pame, very flexi arrangement and really appreciate that!

Hotel location fantastic; right in the middle of touristic life. Rooms are so clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was amazing; big thanks to Carla and Lina(sorry if misspelled). We would definitely recommend Pame Hotel to any couple or schoolmates who will visit Athens.

great hotel in the center

The hotel was great!! the location was very good, close to the center and it felt safe to return to the hotel at night. it is located five minutes from the metro station Monastiraki. The room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious in a close cafe, there was a menu with 7 options for breakfast, fresh orange juice and excellent coffee. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. My girlfriend had a birthday and when we came the staff prepare for us surprise that include upgrade for the room, bottle of wine and chocolates. It was great way to start the vacation:) Also our flight was early and we missed the breakfast so we got tasty sandwiches for the flight instead.

I didn't know this is more of a airbnb than hotel. But its condition is pretty good overall and I like it. I was told by local friend that it is like apartments. Overall, I am happy with Pame House. It is located in very busy and popular local area with lots of restaurants and entertainment just steps from the entrance.

The property is gold and the staff are the diamond! Great central location with night life below (but not enough to disturb our sleep), dining options nearby, shopping, walking distance to Monastiraki train station and flea market, Central Market, pretty Plaka neighbourhood, Acropolis Hill and more.

Property was very clean, comfortable, convenient location and the staff was even better. Rena went above and beyond to make us comfortable and enjoy all that Athens has to offer.
