Beautiful hotel with lovely ambience. The room was big and beautiful and the spa experience was great!

So much potential

Our room was dated with only 1 plug socket in the whole room and a broken curtain. It was comfortable and quiet though which is great. I want to give the hotel 5 stars as it has so much potential if it just made a little more effort. Tables are dirty in dining area and in bedroom but otherwise it’s a clean place. Location is perfect but swimming pool is like ice water so impossible to use. No one used the pool during our stay and all the guests complained about it.

Quiet area yet easily accessible to main attractions. We also loved being in walking distance to the mall and cinema.

While the room could use some updates and better cleanliness, the staff was amazing, and the food was absolutely delicious. Their service really made the stay enjoyable.

I don’t know how it got 5 star status. Very very poor service. Staff was very money oriented and not helpful at all. When I arrived, the door man or bellboy didn’t even volunteer to get my luggage. When I checked in the girl was pushing for some gala dinner and when I asked for taxi, she said it was 25 €. Later a different receptionist told the fare to airport was 30 €. In actuality the fare from airport to hotel by registered taxi was only 13 €. When I checked in the room, there were no towels. I wanted to buy paracetamol and when asked for pharmacy the door man said we have to go in a taxi for 5 minutes to the nearest pharmacy. In actuality there was a pharmacy within 3 minutes walk in a big shopping mall. Everyone of the staff was trying to mislead us.

Nice place but thie listing needs updating as only 1 restaurant is operating and the one currently operating is a help yourself buffet of not great quality. The outside pool and pool bar are great The hotel is quite dark with movement activated lighting although much of this does not appear to work and the aircon is not great, we reported this twice but it was not dealt with It a good place to stay out of hectic Marrakech but the description needs updating

Good place if you don't want to spend a lot of money. a little out of the way. My curtain fell down in my room window facing the street. I reported it and it was never fixed, so I just had a room with an open view window. Also the hallways are dark. really dark. Their motion sensors for lighting their hallways are like (literally) on a 20 second timer so while you're walking the hallway, the lights will turn off on you. The carpets were also somewhat dirty.

What can I say? The place looks nicer in the photos than it truly is. The walls are really thin. Heard everyone next door and in the hallway. Also, I saw a small roach scurry away from the dessert section of dinner last night, and ants all over my breakfast table this morning. I don't get grossed out easily, so it doesn't bother me much. But I can see it grossing others out. It's just not as opulent as the photos would suggest.

The staff of the property was Great. Front desk agent (Ahlam) She did a great job after coming back and complaining about the TV. She makes me satisfied in the end. Good breakfast.

The costumer service was really bad and we were charged for ice we had to pay for it in cash and the ice was served with a spoon not ice thongs in addition we were trying to chill and smoke and drink by the pool the manager told us we can’t because the police will come to check hotel which i never heard of such a thing like that hotel 5 stars get check Ed by the police sound sketchy

Great Venue

Very comfortable and great facilities.

The grounds are beautiful. The rooms are spacious. The decor is dated and the rooms could use an update. The spa is basic but the treatments are good. Breakfast has lots of options but the overall quality of the experience is just ok. The hotel may be rated as 5 star but it is closer to a 3*. If you are looking for a safe place that will meet your basic needs, this hotel will fit the bill.

Had only one restaurant open and the food was very mediocre. On the plus side there was a bar and you could buy bottles of wine. Room service and maid service were efficient and accommodating

Lovely pool, very large and peaceful. Room was spacious and comfortable, staff were very welcoming. Location is ok, however not a lot to see or do within walking distance, however cabs always available and cheap to the old and new town. Great hotel if you are looking for a nice quiet space away from busy main centre. Breakfast good with lots of options. Had a very lovely break and will certainly be recommending this hotel to people in future.

the hotel must an 2 or 3 stars hotel , not clean nothing is working good , so poor

Comfortable stay, but not a 5 star hotel. More like a 3 star compared to western standards. Especially areas the food, room/ hotel amenities, and hotel services lack 5 star standards.

The pool was large and spacious Breakfast was nice

This place was lovely, the pool area was immaculate. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the breakfast, I felt it wasn't worth the price tag due to the options. I think that might be a personal preference. The hotel had reasonable currency exchange rate unlike the airport, taxis were always available on demand at anytime. The neighborhood has a mall right next to it with supermarket, shops and restaurants. There's even a barber/salon in the mall. Just so you know the hotel doesn't allow outside food or drinks. However as long as it's in a bag and not exposed as you pass by them in the lobby you should be fine. The only minor incident we had in the area was a guy on a scooter trying to snatch a friend's phone while we were walking to the mall. I think the incident was very rare and isolated so please do not be too alarmed. However be cautious and aware of your surroundings, especially when someone is riding near you on a scooter.

No AC working in the room. Bed was not clean on arrival

Everything was great except for the one very rude woman at the front desk who didn't believe that I had a reservation and wanted to kick me out of the hotel.

This is sure i will not come back again to this hotel .The Housekeeping is very bad .For two days they forgot to put the sahmpoo ,..... they forgot to change cover and even the quality of the cleaning is bad . Even the first day reception was bad as well . I have been in many hotels around the world and i can say that is one of the worst stays

Pleasant and good value.

Pros: -Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Try and get a room overlooking the pool/gardens, rather than the front which overlook the road. -Pool area is large and spacious - it was reasonably empty while we were there and we never struggled to get loungers or anything. -10 minute drive from Medina with free shuttle available (hourly, subject to availability - book in the morning if hotel is busy) -Free wifi available in all areas - this is useful when you don't want to use data (it did mean everyone by the pool was on their phone the whole time!) -Breakfast has good selection, but same every day so after a week it was getting a bit tedious. Cons: -The food choices for lunch were not good - the poolside bar was pretty awful. The hotels location means it is a bit limited in terms of lunch options (we ate in the Medina every evening). -Agdal is adjacent to the runway, so the aircraft are loud and fly right overhead. However this isn't Heathrow, and there were large periods in the day with no noise, with flights typically every few minutes in the morning and evening. No problem at night. -The staff were friendly but generally a bit clueless. Don't bother asking for any practical tips - even simple things such as taxi rates etc as they really don't seem to know. -For security (?) you aren't allowed outside food in the hotel. This is fine, but they tried to stop us taking drinking water in. If you put it in your backpack they dont seem to care.

Close enough to everything

Originally was placed in a room facing the street, which I didn’t mind. But there was no WiFi. When I approached the staff about my issue, they immediately switched me to a room facing the pool, which apparently costs 30% more per night. But WiFi was 100x better. Breakfast was VERY good. I took the full board which included breakfast lunch and dinner. Unfortunately I wasted money because Besides the first night, I only ever ate breakfast. I was always out for the other meals smh. Lesson learned. But you definitely want to take the breakfast. It will fill you for the day and there’s great variety, from the omelette tower outside to the crepe maker as well.... if I had to complain, it was hard to get ice and tuebfridges BARELY keep anything cold.

Shocking service and poor rooms

Items went missing from my room during cleans, reported to manager who just apologised, rooms were sub standard and everything seemed to be falling apart, sink was blocked as was the bidet, said they would fix- I'm back home now thankfully! U can't bring a water bottle into the hotel as you have to buy from the hotel for £10! Small bottle price btw - AVOID!!!

Comfortable

Very nice hotel, staff was very friendly ways eager to help. They had regular shuttles into the main town which were free. Breakfast was included and very nice. Overall a good holiday vibe!

It took me 3 days to getvthe room changed. No wifi in the room, bad smell and the safevis broken. The breakfast is low quality. I don't recommend this hotel

Decent Experience

If you like a cheap stay and don't care about customer service this is the place for you. Overall my stay was decent. I traveled to Morocco with a friend to attend another friend's wedding. After hearing our other friends complain about staying in the Medina, I was happy that we stayed outside the city. The location is convenient and we felt safe. There is also a free shuttle to the Medina. The pool was by far the best part. It was beautiful, quiet, and they provided towels. The staff were close to incompetent. The most helpful person was Slim - the food and beverage manager. He was friendly, attentive, and helped translate for our taxi driver. At check-in the desk gave us room keys to a room that was already occupied. So unfortunately for an elderly woman we walked in and scared her not knowing the room was already occupied. On one occasion I asked the excursion desk what beach tourists usually travel to and she said she didn't know. Then the next day, when booking our camel ride, she showed us brochures for Agadir beach.She went from not knowing to trying to up-sell us. I was given Euros for change in the bar but then the front desk would not exchange them from dirhams. Apparently the hotel bar works separately from the hotel. The room itself was okay although it smelled old. The cleaning services were good. The buffet breakfast was alright.

Nice hotel, close to town

I must say overall it was quite a disappointing stay and i will not be staying here again. the only thing that made the stay great was Slim the most helpful and friendly staff. Speak thank you to Slim for the surprise birthday cake and for making out stay enjoyable. the hotel was a bit run down and there were ant fest in our room and it took staff almost 2 hrs to come sort it out. check was very frustrating as well as the cards were not working, when we went to complain the staff were not very sympathizing even though they did sort another room out. we had to keep going downstairs 4 times in total before a room finally worked for us (room 1281). i avoid this room if possible as there is a water ingress int he bathroom. the Only good thing is that the pool is massive and not at all busy. the breakfast was awful, and no bake beans, no variety and no species in the food. i found this quite disappointing given that the country is known for their species. The chef look baffled when i ask for salt to be added while making the omelet and everyday is the same food. you can tell this hotel is below average because the place was never busy throughout my for nights here. If you just want to place to sleep while exploring Morocco ten this hotel is for you. but if you are looking to actually enjoy the hotel and its facilities then don't bother. Don't even bother with hotel restaurants, you are better walking 2 mins and not 10 mins down the street to almaar's market and buying fast foods.

Clean and convenient hotel

The hotel was okay with most staff friendly. Being unable to charge to the room or credit card payment, except the reception, was a little inconvenient. But currency exchange service and transportation to the market were good.

Good bargain for a mystery deal on Expedia

We got a good deal on mystery hotels via Expedia, if not for which we would not have selected the hotel. Check in took a while - booking through Expedia was not immediately recognised immediately at the counter. Room was alright, not much character and the toilet had not been flushed! In so many years of travelling never seen a toilet that had not been flushed from previous use. Pool was nice and pretty, pity we did not have the time to dip in. Buffet was nice and extensive over all apart from the unflushed toilet - not too bad. No hotels or things to do in the vicinity, you will have to catch a taxi and head to the center.

don't trust this hotel service is 0 star

will to be honest for my experience don't ever stay in this hotel u spend money but there is no service ,, i was reserve this hotel for my weeding night and as any hotel the give especial service for married people ,and we call hem and the say to us don't worry we will take care of u and the hotel he give special service for new married ,,and believe me when i go to the hotel it was normal room with no vacuum i think if i was go to any hotel 3 star or 2 star the will give batter service and customer service believe me when u ask hem the told u we can do anything so i feel like the just play to us and ignoring us ,can u believe u come to hotel and u think is 5 star and have 5 star service and when u get there u find is not even 1 star and believe me 1 star for this hotel is to much ,so for my experience don't believe whats u see in picture because is not whats u see in reality , i was think i will have good stay in this hotel for my special time in my life ,(my weeding) but u make worst exp i never had in any hotel befour so any one plz if u want to stay in 5 star hotel dont stay in this place service is 0%

Every thing was good except their towel are over used and I have not see even three star hotel they do not use towel like that.

this is definetely not a 5 star hotel, the entire staff are mean and not professional, would not recommend this hotel to anybody, i have stayed in 4 stars hotel that are much better than this one.

unfriendly receptionists

My wife and I spend two days before the new year at this hotel. We booked this hotel because its reasonable price for a 5 star hotel. After staying there for two nights, I think it is not even worth the rate they charge for. First of all, the hardware of the hotel does not qualify for a 5 star rating. It is a 4 star hotel to the best. Second, its surounding environment is far from 5 star. When we opened our curtain, what comes into the view is a dusty construction site. Although its location is far away from all the tourist attractions, it did not bother us much because we had a car. What disappointed me the most is its receptionist. There were two of them standing behind the counter when we arrived and there was nobody in front of us. When we walked up to the counter and said hi, none of them even bothered to greet us. Then a minute later, the lady put a registration form on the counter and laid a pen on the form asked us to fill out the form with her head motion. When we asked for some tourist sites information, she just pulled out a map marked a star at the hotel and drew a big circle at the Medina, "here is the hotel and here is the medina." She was absolutely the worst I have even met in my 30 years travel experience around the world.

the breakfast at the hotel was very mediocre it is far from the jamaelfna cabs are few and far inbetween commuting to and from hotel is expensive. SOME OF THE CONCIERGE STAFF IS EXCELLENT AND HELPFUL THE REST NOT AT ALL SO IF YOU ARE LUCKY MARIA IS THE ONE TO GO TO FOR INFO AND TRAVEL ASSISTANCE. DO NOT OPT FOR HALFBOARD VERY DISSAPOINTING FOOD QUALITY

Not a 5 Star Hotel

Beware of most claims made by this hotel. It is far from the city center, requiring numerous cab rides throughout the day to get any where. Staff at the hotel appear to be untrained and are not helpful or responsive. Our room key had to be reset every day, the internet connection was consistently down and no one seemed to care, the in-room fridge didn't work (after 5 calls it was replaced with another that didn't work), the workout facilities were closed during the morning, the gift shop and the snack shop were closed during our entire stay. If you opt for the breakfast, it isn't what you would expect from a 5-star hotel - the juice was so watered down, it had no taste at all. The pool area is nice; unfortunately, an umbrella fell on my friend and bruised her leg. Need I say more?

Would not recommend

This is a new hotel,supposed to be 5 stars but does not live up to it. Very disappointed. The hotel is located a 10 min drive from town,taxi price 30 to 50 D, and everything in the area is a building site. I would not go back to this hotel, but would choose one of the nice hotels nearer to town centre.

Chambre propre et lit confortable.

Breakfast is not what you expect to get when you pay this much per night. Otherwise friendly staff, good spa massage (thanks Adzidza) and good location with a galleria nearby. Also check out Stah restaurant at the far end of the street.

Peut mieux faire

Hôtel pratique dans un endroit calme, parking disponible. Avec un petit effort propreté ça serait bien. Manque de ventilation dans la salle de bain, mauvaise odeur.

Bella struttura ma: doccia intasata, cornetta doccia che perde e fa rumore. Lontana dal centro, raggiungibile in taxi per 5-6 euro.

HOTEL BOA LOCALIZAÇÃO - PÉSSIMO ATENDIMENTO

A localização parece em local estrategico como uma zona hoteleira. Porem, estava avisado pelo hoteis.com , que teria que pagar as taxas local. Mas não é avisado que somente em especie / dinheiro. Só fiquei sabendo na hora do chek-in, que a Recepcionista não foi nada agradavel e não teve um pingo de senso quando informei que não estava com especie. Eles me disseram devido o valor se muito baixo. O espantoso é que tinha almoçado no resturante deles antes de me hospedar devido ao horário do check-in, e paguei o mesmo valor que teria que pagar de taxas local. O que me pareceu que exigem em especie para não justificar esse valor como entrada. Ou seja, SONEGAÇÃO.

J’ai aimé la gentillesse du personnel. Sèches cheveux décoller de son emplacement. Il faudrait plus de choix de fruits au petit déjeuner. Nécessité d’un coin non fumeur.

Jolie établissement visuelle, si on regarde de plus près beaucoup de detail mal fait . Personnel certain rien a dire mes beaucoup c'est a la tete du client. Restaurations rien a dire pour les repas cest top. Le service 2 fois on a demander des publie de leur part comme telecomande pas dans la.chambre et manque de papier toilette

Todo muy bien hasta la ultima NOCHE, donde nos citaron a las 22: 30 a q fueramos a pagar las tasas municipales Despues de haber pasado 5 noches consecutivas y a punto de cumplir la sexta Muy desubicado el empleado Dado q podria haber esperado hasta la mañana siguiente creo yo Estabanos acostados y tuvimos q levantarnos e ir a pagar € 30 Una verdadera fakra de respeto Respecto al resto del hotel consideramos q cumplieron con lo acordado Por ese detalle NO VUELVO JAMAS a dormir a ese establecimiento
