This place was amazing. Easy to find. Parking is nearby. It's also in a good location to walk around the shops and restaurants. The terrace on the top of the building is relaxing. This is a place I would recommend and I would stay at again.

Everything we needed

Stay was everything we needed. Kitchen area was enough to allow us to have a couple dinners in after a long day out on our feet. Unsure if it was because we didn’t know how to ask but did not have turn down service during our week stay. Wasn’t a big deal since we spent most of our time out but would have been nice. Location is very nice! Close to the free parking and the city center. You can sit and watch the harbor area on a shaded bench just outside. Free internet worked well when we needed it. Plenty of kitchen supplies for meals. Everything in the room seemed new and well kept.

We had called Palazzo dei Corsari 3-4 times prior to arrival from our previous hotel to provide them with travel information they were requesting such as mode of transportation on arrival, time of arrival, phone number, etc... That was all meaningless because we informed them we were arriving around 12:30 pm with the Bus from Sciacca to Trapani. We asked if they can pick us up at the bus station which is 5 min from their residence. They said yes. We called when we arrived in the Trapani bus station and they informed us that they can only pick us up at 3:30pm. We were extremely disappointed that they would make us wait 3 hours with luggage in town especially after we made prior arrangements. After lunch, we called around 4 pm, after waiting for another half hour because they had not picked us up at bus station. We asked a man to call for us since we had no phone service and they advised him that we had no reservation for pick up and that we had to walk with luggage to hotel in extreme heat. They also advertise shuttle service to airport. The airport is much further than the bus station. When I asked about shuttle service to airport upon leaving, receptionist informed me we had to take a taxi or bus. No shuttle provided. We were happy we only made reservation for 1 night.

Visiting Trapani- Afforable nice place to stay!

Let the hotel know when you plan to arrive ahead of time! We arrived around lunch time, which can be tough b/c Italian business shuts down at between 1-3pm on week days. Luckily the manager was there helping another arrival, so we were able to check in without a problem. Need to show hotels.com conf no. The manager was very helpful and friendly. I had requested a quieter room after reading reviews, glad I did. We had a back room with windows facing inward to the parking lot downstairs. No sound issues at all. The room was large, had AC(a must in summer), was clean, had a good size bathroom, shower, etc. Bed was large and standard firm mattress. Back room is also away from the shared living room good for privacy. Note if you have a rental car, this hotel does not have parking available, so you have to park in the street overnight. In the city its hard to find parking, luckily the manager helped us find a parking spot, definitely above and beyond what he had to do. This hotel also serves breakfast family style (shared table in house setting) in the morning but we did not experience that due to our early flight out the next day. This hotel is next to a roof top restaurant, called Seven, a must if you are staying there, beautiful view of the city and great food and service!

Just ok

The hotel was a bit difficult to find as it was in an alley. But then that seems to be the norm when in Italy. The receptionist was helpful in pointing out attractions and restaurants around. The room was large and had a kitchen but smelled musty and very stale. We had to air it out for a couple of hours. It looked pretty modern, but the bed was very hard and springy. There was an unpleasant smell in the room that we could not get used to even by the following day. The location was right by the water so an early morning walk was pleasant while the city was still sleeping. Unfortunately the reason we were awake so early was because the sea gulls were screaming loudly most of the night and people were yelling and talking outside the window, and could be heard even with the windows closed. Sadly we did not get much rest at this hotel.

Trapani Apartment

The closest and most inexpensive apartment near to the ferry pier to Favignana. Functional kitchen, great A/C, excellent rain shower with adequate hot water. Hard bed

Fantastic place in great location!

We've just come home from 4 days in Sicily where we spent the first day in trapani and the Palazzo dei Corsari. We enjoyed both the city and the apartment very much. For location it couldn't be in a better spot. Absolutely perfect in every way! Loved it!

Hotel in center of trapani

We booked the room with sea view however when we opened the balcony door we found backyards of other buildings. The tiny kitchenette was not equipped. The room was not clean and small and not comfortable at all. The lift does not go up to the top floor so one has to use the stairs to get to the room.

Convenient and clean

Nice apartment in a good location in Trapani. We asked to be collected from the airport and were greeted by a cheerful driver despite our plane being half an hour late! The kitchen was well equipped and great for people travelling on a budget. Staff were helpful and held our luggage while we went for a wander upon checkout. Not the fanciest hotel but very friendly, clean and well located.

We stayed here in April 2012. The receptionist, Vanessa, could not have been more helpful. She delayed her siesta in order to greet us and made us most welcome. The apartment was clean, quiet, well positioned and spacious with fridge and hob. Breakfast was not provided but Vanessa told us where the nearest 'panificio' and 'alimentari' were. She also escorted us to a good local restaurant and arranged for to us to dine at 7pm. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Overall okay

Be advised, if you do not notice in the room ammenities, that this is an apartment, not a regular hotel room. Overall, it was a nice place to stay. The staff was nice and helpful. They worked with me for a late check-in, even though I didn't need it in the end. The only thing I noticed that was a bit of a problem was that our shower did not drain very well then almost not at all. When I reported it via note, the front desk staff was unsure what I meant until I returned and then understood when I showed them. However, they wouldn't be able to get it fixed until after we left. They also appeared to be undergoing renovations (June 2011. It may be completed by the time this is read) about the place, so that may have been a factor. The location was excellent as a base starting point for exploring Trapani and the Egadi islands. The ferries were just down the street and the kiosks were readily available. The pedestrian area and many restaurants were also just a short walk away. There are also grocery stores not too far away so you can restock your provisions quickly.

El departamento era amplio (para 6 al menos). Incluyó algunas cortesías. Incluyendo una guía con atractivos de la zona. Equipamiento completo. A pocos de metros de algunos puntos de interés, la parada de autobuses, embarcadero y playas. El recepcionista, súper atento a responder consultas.

Vores hotel var meget behjælpelig med flere ting. Hotellet var rent og pænt. Vi boede midt i det historiske distrikt, så nemt at komme ned i byen. Vi kan anbefale stedet til andre.

Hotel/appartamento fornito di tutto il necessario, ottima posizione per visitare il centro con i suoi vari ed ottimi ristoranti, sia il porto per gli imbarchi per le isole. Suggerimenti...tende più oscuranti e per risparmio di acqua, elettricità, ecc... mettere degli avvisi sui lavaggio asciugamani, per evitare sprechi.A noi sono stati lavati dopo solo un giorno, quindi non ancora sporchi, sebbene fossero regolarmente. appesi. Staff molto gentile e disponibile.

Attenti al check in!

Ho sbagliato a non tener conto dei commenti che evidenziavano il problema del check in, e pur essendo arrivati alle 16.30, durante l'orario di apertura della reception indicato nella mail di conferma, abbiamo trovato chiuso. Nessuno ha risposto alle nostre chiamate al fisso e al cellulare (che risultavano staccati). Il ristorante all'angolo cui si diceva di chiedere informazioni era chiuso per ristrutturazione. Ci siamo armati di pazienza e abbiamo passeggiato per Trapani fino alle 18,30, continuando a telefonare e scrivere mail. Infatti dopo due ore dal nostro arrivo, finalmente il titolare ha risposto al telefono dicendo che era raffeddato ed era andato a riposare! Inutile arrabbiarsi con quell'uomo avanti negli anni e con idee tutte sue su tutto. La camera è spaziosa ( è un residence), discretamente pulita, sita in un palazzo in pieno centro. Per far salire l'ascensore bisogna tener premuto il tasto fino al piano desiderato. Personalmente per qualche euro in più ho dormito in posti più gradevoli e soprattutto non ho mai avuto problemi di check in. Preferisco gli hotel con personale qualificato e Trapani ne è piena. Inviterei anche i motori di ricerca degli hotel a fare attenzione alle problematiche come quella che ho appena segnalato perché quando si viaggia è necessario avere la possibilità di prenotare un hotel alternativo se si verificano dei problemi con la prenotazione.

God service fra hyggelig personell.

Da vi kom til hotellet fikk vi et rom uten balkong selv om vi hadde bestilt med. Den svært hyggelige resepsjonisten tok grep da vi viste den bekreftede utskriften av bestillingen. Han ordnet det slik at vi fikk et rom med egen takterasse. Vi ble kjempefornøyde. Ellers også var denne resepsjonisten alltid serviceinnstilt, smilende og hjalp oss med alt vi spurte om. Også resten av personalet var veldig hyggelige. Sengene var komfortable, kjøkkenet ok utstyrt og vi ble aldri forstyrret av bråk. Anbefales.

Check in da dimenticare

Arrivo previsto per fine mattina, chiamo il numero di telefono mobile e l'interlocutore con tono di sufficienza mi comunica che il Check-in è possibile solo dalle ore 15:30. Alle 15:30 mi presento al residence ma trovo chiuso. Telefono nuovamente e mi viene risposto, con altrettanta sufficienza, da parte dello stesso interlocutore che era sabato, che lui era impegnato alla dogana(???) e che qualcuno prima o poi sarebbe arrivato. Per fortuna dopo un quarto d'ora è arrivato qualcuno e finalmente ho potuto effettuare il Check-in. Per il resto tutto ok. Camera in ordine, buona pulizia, posizione centrale. Decisamente migliorabile l'accoglienza telefonica.

Pokój przestronny, czysty, praktycznie w samym centrum Trapani. Jedyna niedogodność jaka nas spotkała to odmrożona lodówka pełna zepsutego jedzenia - pewnie po poprzednich lokatorach.

Aufwendig saniertes Gebäude, das wars dann aber.

Das Personal, soweit sichtbar, ist bestenfalls uninteressiert, eher sogar unfreundlich.Die Zimmersauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. An sich schöne Bäder werden sich selbst überlassen und zeigen entsprechende Verfallsspuren.

Très bonne expérience. Hôtel en plein centre ville et proche de la mer. Nous avons séjourné deux nuits et nous avons apprécié notre séjour à Trapani.

Ottima posizione, nel centro storico

Non si tratta di un hotel, ma di un residence in cui vengono affittate camere con cucinotto. A me addirittura hanno assegnato un bilocale al prezzo di una camera normale. Non vengono quindi effettuate le pulizie giornalmente ma ogni due o tre giorni e il personale alla reception c'è solo alcune ore durante la giornata, tuttavia in caso di bisogno lo si contatta e in breve tempo arriva. In compenso il personale è gentilissimo e ci ha fornito utili informazioni per visitare la città e i dintorni.

damp but great value for the price

Friendly staff, Clean rooms and great comfort.. It did smelled a bit of damp in the walls, but after 5min my nose was accustomed to it, so I guess it wasn't too bad. It is right by the ferries to the islands and in the cutest little centre.

Großes Appartment mit gemütlicher Ausstattung

Der Sea view ist etwas sehr optimistisch (man muss sich auf den Balkon stellen und ums Eck schauen) und die Rezeption ist nicht durchgehend besetzt. Aber nichtsdestotrotz: Es isr ein sehr gemütliches Apartment mit moderner Ausstattung und wirklich viel Platz. Küchenausstattung ist auch vorhanden.

Une odeur d'égouts désagréable dans la salle de bain. A part cela, l'appartement était très agréable et de même pour l'établissement.

Nous y avons passé 3 nuits, les chambres sont pas mal! Nous avons eu celle du dernier étage avec vue sur la mer (sympa) mais du coup à 6h30 vous avez le droit aux pigeons qui tapent sur le toit (beaucoup moins sympa)! L'hôtel est vraiment bien placé (pratique quand vous n'avez pas de véhicule sur place) et le personnel...

Pour y passer une nuit, pas de soucis. Encore faut il oublier d'ouvrir la fenêtre donnant sur la terrasse où des boites de pizzas trônaient ici et là.Pas de service, après 18:00

Ett prisvärt hotel som ligger nära det mesta i Trapani. Lugnt och skönt. Men förvänta er inte något hotell med frukost & restaurang etc. Rekommenderas.

Relation between price is not ok

We were not able to check in between 12:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. When we arrived there were no blankets on the bed. This was corrected fast but with nothing more than a simple excuse. I would expect more from a 4-star establishment. The bathroom is modern but not well maintained. The worst of all was that there were very loud works in progess inside the hotel so that we were not able to have a rest, which we needed a lot since we arrived very tired, until we explicitly complained about the noise ...
