Excellente localisation. Très bon service par personnel très disponible. Chambres allouées très petites et avec des minis fenêtres au niveau du sol ou bien au niveau du plafond. Pas agréables. Encore moins pour le prix pratiqué.

Property is beautiful, great location if you are a tourist in Malaga and want to see the important attractions. If arriving with a rental car the hotel is on a street that does not allow traffic, so you will need to park in a lot approx 300 meters away.

A truly 4-star hotel bordering on 5 stars. Staff were professional and helpful. My room was in a new wing of the hotel, about a year old. Very beautiful moorish architecture. The only down side - it is in a no-vehicle area of the old city. If you have several luggages it will be challenging.

Un lugar especial en nuestros corazones Málaga, sobre todo vivida desde el maravilloso Palacio Solecio. Después de un comienzo de estadía con alguna sombra es más que importante decir que todo el staff estuvo a la altura de nuestro recuerdo y expectativas. Desde brindarnos una suite con un patio hermosamente diseñada (cómo todo en este Palacio), invitación a un exquisito desayuno en el patio que no puede ser más bello, hasta la delicadeza de unos deliciosos jugos de frutas con tabla de quesos en nuestra habitación, así como la buena voluntad y simpatía de todo el equipo de personal, hicieron que la espera para llegar a nuestra habitación definitiva y más deseada fuera muy disfrutable. A pesar de las tormentas de estos días, el Solecio es, sin duda el lugar para hacer pie en estas costas de la mejor manera. Volveremos seguro. Muchas gracias, muchas veces.

Rooms are lovely, a mix of old and modern in the heart of Málaga, sooo many choices to dine close by and almost all tours meeting points are at about 15 to 20 minutes walk and the bus station is less than 10 minutes away.

Clean beautiful hotel with exceptional service

The hotel staff was by far the most professional and attentive out of the six hotels we stayed at during our trip to Spain. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Carmen, who not only gave us a quick tour of the hotel, highlighting its historical features, but also helped us choose some fantastic local restaurants. She even assisted us in planning a memorable day trip to the beach in Marbella. Alexandro and Daniel were equally outstanding, helping us with parking, carrying our heavy luggage, and providing helpful recommendations and tips throughout our stay. Our room, located in the newer section, was incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean. Overall, the exceptional service made our stay truly special.

The staff was so helpful - they arranged tickets to the Picasso Museum, helped with cabs, even the housekeeping staff was friendly and kind. I only wish that the rooftop bar was open later at night.

I had to pay to get an upgrade. They would not honor the vip perk. The room was very nice but there are no finishing touches that would be expected and would make the room much nicer. The person who checked me in was not very nice. This needs to change if they ever want to be a 5 star property

Service was excellent, room was excellent, staff warm and friendly and very, very helpful and professional. Loved the new edition to the hotel, we stood a few times in the original facility and both are excellent. We will be back once more.

Excellent stay

Excellent (Location + super clean + high quality finishes & room). Very courteous staff. Very helpful with parking. The only complaint is that when having hot water shower there wasn’t enough pressure. That said it was acceptable

Palacio Solecio is located in an area that is close to everything yet is tucked quietly across an old church. Tastefully decorated and updated, it does live up to the “luxury” definition of it’s brand. If you are going to Uber to the hotel, it’s a little tricky when all the drivers drop you off at the plaza. But just find your way to the corner of Calle Grenada where Nonna’s Ice Cream shop is located and it’s approx less than 100 meters from there. The staff are superb and the rooftop pool is a great bonus.

This hotel has a wonderful breakfast(get it included with your stay), a beautiful interior that is much bigger than you would expect from the outside, and great service throughout. I was disappointed or didn’t expect the pool to be so small. While it is nice to have the pool, it’s only about 10 ft by 8ft(rough estimate). Also, the sunbathing chairs are limited-I counted 8?? And if you get one, they will likely only have sun exposure for a limited time due to the other buildings blocking the sun. Many guests will also sit and read….for a very long long time. That made it difficult to enjoy the pool, since our towel and personal items had to be bunched on the ground beside the pool. There’s also only about 1 foot of space to walk around the pool, so if more than two people leave their towels like we did, the walking area is blocked. The food by the pool was great-get the burrata. Also-if you’re in the primary building, the pool is in the adjacent building-you need to go out of the hotel to enter the second building. Being our first time, I’m guessing there are better suites available. The room was super quiet even though we are in the old town center. We had the courtyard facing window. Also, we really liked the closet space and room layout. Bed was good-but not a temperpedic. I would stay here again. The location being in old town is ideal for a 3-4 day visit. We didn’t need to get a car, and walked wherever we wanted to go.

Palacio Solecio - fantastic boutique hotel

Stayed at Palacio Solecio for 2 weeks in July and August 2024. What a gem this hotel is. It's a full-service boutique hotel. The staff are fantastic. The rooms are immaculate and very comfortable. The air conditioning system throughout the hotel was perfect - everywhere was at a perfect temperature regardless of how hot it was outside. Perfectly located for historic Malaga. There a nice rooftop restaurant and bar with small plunge pool and sunbathing area. There's also a small bar on the ground floor and a wonderful restaurant. If you want attention to detail, great architecture and design, and first-class service then you'll love Palacio Solecio.

Palacio Solecio - an exceptional boutique hotel

Palacio Solecio is an exceptional boutique hotel perfectly located for the historic centre of Malaga. The staff are all brilliant and a credit to the hotel. The rooms are immaculate, comfortable and well-equipped. The hotel is wonderfully designed and decorated. There's a rooftop bar/restaurant with a small sun terrace and plunge pool as well as a nice bar and restaurant on the ground floor. We very much enjoyed our stay here and will definitely stay again and recommend to our friends.

The hotel is absolutely stunning. I took a solo trip and the staff made my stay welcoming and safe. This hotel is close to so many activities and restaurants. The hotel itself has a restaurant and will hold your wine bottles as well. Amazing food, wine selections and pool and staff. Can’t wait to stay again next summer.

Great luxury hotel. Beds were comfortable. Staff friendly and polite. Near important sites and in the area where you want to be. Unfortunately our room was noisy during the weekend due to partying out in the streets. That is why my overall rating was not 5 stars

Good property but they don’t make any effort to accommodate us early we arrive at 9:25 they give us the room at 3 pm many passengers that arrived later than us got there rooms was very frustrating experience

Nice property with rooftop small pool area. Convenient to everything. No parking in front of property, so have to walk 1 block for taxi drop off or pickup. No big deal but body soap dispenser was not working, I had to ask 3 times to get it fixed. Stayed in Suite and plenty of space and plugs. No amenities (toothbrush, shaving, etc.) in the room. Staff are good but don’t tell you or show you around the property. Would stay again.

Amazing staff!

Great place. The WiFi was not functional in the room. Was such a short stay that it didn’t matter for me but would if I stayed longer.

In my view, this is a premier property in Malaga. It is excellent in every way. The staff is professional and helpful in every aspect of the stay. The food and wine in the restaurant is excellent and well worth the money. There are traditional offerings for diners to enjoy. A reservation is needed to be able to dine though so be aware a few days may be needed to get the time slot that is desired. There is an intimate roof deck breakfast/bar area. It is wonderful to take breakfast up on the roof and talk about tour plans of the day. The rooms were palacial and well appointed. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

No windows in my room except for a skylight, the room got incredibly hot and ac was only working during the day and was shut off at night. Very uncomfortable and somewhat claustrophobic. Will not recommend. Found another 4 star hotel nearby for a better price, with windows and working ac for my second night. If you choose to stay at Palaceo, beware of the attic rooms or ‘the penthouse’ as they call them. The terrace bar is located there and there are constant noises of clattering dishes and heavy carts in the hallway.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Palacio Solecio. All the staff were extremely kind and helpful making us feel extremely comfortable to be staying there. Breakfast is a real treat, setting you up for a busy day exploring Malaga City.
