Great staff and cute private roof pool
Their inner courtyard was beautiful and quiet. Rooms were clean, and the mini fridge was appreciated. Beds were a little too firm. The restaurant next door was excellent.
The staff is really nice and accommodating. The property is nice, quiet and safe. It is in the heart of Tulum so everything around was easily accessible. I just had mosquitoes and wet floor that caused me a little bit of inconvenience which was nicely handled by the whole staff. I appreciate their service, hence i enjoyed my stay at Pacha!
Overall decent stay
Overall we had a good stay. The front desk was very helpful. This hotel has a cool vibe. It is very outdated but it is a good stay for a short period. Great location next to everything.
Clean and comfortable
For some reason my reservation didn't show up in the system when i arrived, but the staff handled it professionally and provided me an upgrade so I was happy. The room was comfortable, with nice linens and other nice touches, like a variety of teas, q tips, and fancy shampoo and conditioner. All of the staff were very nice, and spoke perfect English (and other languages) and provided helpful tips for my visit. The hotel is in a convenient location where it's located near the nice grocery store and downtown is walkable. I'm not sure that I'll be back to Tulum, but if I do come back, I would stay here again.
Friendly staff in a great location
A great hotel in a fantastic location and surprisingly quiet. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Very comfortable beds and the room had a fridge and kettle. Highly recommend!
Great staff and convenient location!
This property is in town which is nice. But the rooms itself are in okay condition. Slight musty scent. Initially there was a cockroach in our room but they were able to move us which was nice. The staff is kind as well. My only issue was mostly surrounding the cleanliness of the hotel and how the size of the rooms and slightly smaller than it looks in photos.
Good service
Pacha Tulum had everything I needed for my stay in Tulum. Staff were always friendly and helpful and it was nice and quiet at night. The room was comfortable, spacious and well equipped. There is a bike rental place next door to the hotel if you want to rent a bike.
It was a very convenient location- I was able to easily access everything I needed on my first day in Mexico. I got lots of good advice from the staff and they made sure I was looked after. The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed, and it was quiet at night. Highly recommend!
Upon my arrival, the place looked completely different from the pictures, and the rooms were much smaller than expected. The bed were bare and dirty with only sheets, and there was no iron or blow dryer provided. When I requested these, they handed me the worst possible options, and neither worked properly. The WiFi was terrible, and to make matters worse, they demanded an additional payment, claiming I hadn’t paid some type of tax. It was only about $15, but the whole situation felt shady. The pool was tiny, filthy, and completely unused by guests. To top it off, they never honored the VIP complimentary drinks as promised. This place is a complete scam stay away.
The staff was amazing. The location is near all the restaurants and the one adjoining the property was fantastic. The rooms are small but have everything that you need to enjoy the beautiful Pueblo. We highly recommend this spot if you are looking to see all the things Tulum has to offer.
Half the price of those by the beach and no mosquitos 😄
I enjoyed my stay there, the pool was nice and relaxing. The room was small but just perfect in my opinion!! The faucets were a little rusty but I didn’t mind it but maybe others will, enjoyed how everything like restaurants, and stores were walking distance, i definitely recommend staying here!!
The Staff was friendly and helpful but the room was dirty. We booked our stay for 6 nights for the king suite, we got there on Sunday night and noticed little bugs on the bed, we smooshed them and took off the bed sheets (which were stained). The rug had food crumbs and the mini fridge had hairs. The water went off while taking a shower, so we had to wait for them to turn it back on. We left early morning and came back in the afternoon, they made the bed with the same dirty sheets, flipped the bath towel/rug over and didn’t sweep. We found bugs again on the bed that looked like bed bugs. We decided to leave that night to another hotel and when we went to check out, they did offer to change us to another room but we figured if that’s the way they “cleaned” our room that’s the way they cleaned all the other rooms. They couldn’t refund our money back because we reserved through Travelocity, so we lost 5 paid nights.
Excellent service, nice room, people are amazing, helpful, great stay....
It was small, clean and comfortable. The service was excellent
I stayed at this sweet hotel for 1 night. The staff were friendly and accomodating. I will stay ther again. ~K.B
We recently stayed at Pacha Tulum Boutique Hotel and had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment We arrived, the reception service was exceptional, Rodriguez went above and beyond to ensure that our check-in process was welcoming and informative. We received numerous complimentary drinks on arrival and throughout. Throughout our stay, the level of assistance provided by the hotel staff were unparalleled. Whether I needed recommendations for local attractions or assistance with any requests, they were always there to help with a smile and friendly chat. Their attention to detail and willingness to accommodate guests truly sets this hotel apart from others ive stayed at. Not only was the service outstanding, but the hotel itself was also beautiful and well-maintained. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated, providing a serene environment to relax in after exploring each day. Overall I would highly recommend!
The staff were kind and helpful. Would stay here again.
Great location to Tulum centro and ruins area, perfect for transportation options. Great staff, always willing to help and provides ideas to tourists.
Great staff and location. Good food. Nice garden. Busy and noisy street outside.
None.
The property host where very essential in me getting the most out of vacation. Highly recommend it for any planning on going to Tulum.
hello my name is Amadou, I just completed my stay at Pacha and it was a WONDERFUL experience. First off the customer service was nice and friendly from every employee we encountered! Very helpful and gave us great recommendations through the city of Tulum. The Presidential suite was excellent! Bed was cozy, bathroom setup was nice, living room area was beautiful and A/C was COLD!!!! you’ll need that bad in the Tulum heat. Pool upstairs was nice and clean as well! Overall we enjoyed our experience and would recommend this hotel
Expedia and Pacha Tulum Boutique Hotel are really in sync. I booked and fifteen minutes later we arrived and our room was available. We got free upgrade! Rodrigo was very thorough, welcoming, friendly and helpful.
We loved the tropical garden and the cozy atmosphere of the place. The guys at the recepcion are very friendly and we loved so much the Suite President with the private terrace with the cute little pool to enjoy after a hot day! We'll be back here, thanks for everything!
Small hotel at the side of the road in Tulum, outside the city, small room., Our experience was unfortunately bad, the room was not what we expected, had a bad smell, the shower didn't work properly, the of the toilet was broken, the was able in the room floor right next to the bed, that was covered with a carpet, the bed was clean but the sheets and the pillows were uncomfortable, no cover on top of the bed, check in process was not friendly at all, no greetings at arrival no instructions were given, we had to ask for the wifi password, ask for the towels for the room. We will not come back and we don't recommend this hotel. Overall experience 2/10
The staff was friendly and helpful. Located conveniently at the top of the strip. Anything that you need or want Peter and Alan are there to help. Will definitely go back there.
A little gem Boutique Hotel in a strategical position to visit Tulum and places around! The staff is absolutely brilliant, they are always tring to help you and providing lots of tips that for a tourist is impossible to know! Our room was lovely and super clean! We'll definitely coming back in the future! Thanks to hosting us!
Staff was amazing! Super friendly and very helpful with instructions on how to navigate through Tulum. The place is in a very busy street but great overall. There is a small restaurant next door which is very convenient, a supermarket and street food across the street. The only thing was that warm water wouldnt last long so we mainly showered with room tempeture water. Beds were also not comfortable but I think for the price is great because it motivated us to get up and explore the town. We rented a scooter from them as well which made sooo easy to navigate through the town. Pretty cool overall.
We loved a lot the beautiful tropical garden inside the property that let you forget about outside. Room are cozy and has all the comforts you need. Staff is simply awesome, helps us a lot to plan all our trips around Tulum! We will come back for sure and we strongly encourage to enjoy this place! Perfect balance between cost and what you enjoy!
On the last 2 days of our stay we were woken early in the morning with demolition starting on the building attached to this hotel. The noise was deafening and continuous. There was no warning from the hotel management and compensation was refused.
Staff is very nice. We stayed in the Presidential Suite and it was not very "presidential". Musty smelling and rather disappointing.
This hotel Is NOT a 4 star, VIP access hotel. It was a total scam. We arrived there trusting Expedia that they wouldn’t false advertise a poor conditioned hotel as a “VIP access”, however upon arrival our room had flies and bugs flying everywhere, the AC was so old and loud, and we were told we can’t turn it off due to moisture built up. Toilet flush did not work. Bed covers did not look clean and we were scared to even sit on the bed. We left the hotel and did not stay there. The hotel was unwilling to help us and we did not get our refund. Both Expedia and the hotel are responsible for this scam!
This was the perfect property for our trip
Every thing is good, except noisy and dirty around.
Small property in the center of town so not so good. Staff very friendly
Helpful and friendly staff. Well-located for public transport and walking distance into town.
Very cute and convenient
I was very happy with the clean room and much needed AC unit. The staff were super friendly and helpful with suggestions for food and activities. We were able to rent a moped from the hotel, which saved some hassle. It's in a good location as well, just a few blocks away from lots of great food, shopping, and bars.
Adorable property in convenient locale with such kind staff.
Overall, this is an ok budget hotel - you get what you pay for. The lights in our room didn't work, the shower gets the bathroom floor very wet, one of the bath towels had a large brown stain and the toilet seat did not at all fit the toilet (my husband even fell in). Also, the décor inside the room was of poor taste (felt like I was staring at the bottom of a community pool's mosaic). The AC was good though, and the pool area is small but pretty, and the staff is very nice and helpful.
Nice for the short time I was there. Only stayed a short night as flight cancellations interfered with my trip. Checking in and out was fast and easy. There was no tv in my room so if you’re looking to have one, you may have to request a specific room. Didn’t get to enjoy breakfast as I had an early morning tour but it’s a nice small little place. If you want quiet, this place isn’t recommended because it’s a busy area and you can hear your neighbors as well.
Nice stay in Tulum. Good price
The place was nice and clean. Had all the necessary things and great service. A bit far from the beach but most hotels are located in this area. Overall good stay
Room was very small, maybe 12 x12. Beds small. he out side of hotel was bad. I actual drove by it twice insisting that wasn't it, lol. Trash containers, construction, and gravel out front. Convenience store right next to it which was nice and grocery store across the street that had a 20 min line in and out because of covid. The toilet in the room has a sign that's says do not flush paper, with a lidded garbage pale, and then a water hose to presumably clean yourself, lol. The sink was painted over and had no fixture. The small copper pipe just sticks out of the sink which sprays everywhere if you are not careful. There are no shelves or room for any toiletries. There are very few outlets in the room and no are near the beds and there is no room for night stands. The sheets and pillow cases smelled bad like dirty dish rages. No, I am not exaggerating at all. My son said the same. I had to ignore it or not sleep. The only thing nice in the room was the shower which must have ben redone recently. The pool is a joke and doubt anyone would use it. The people working the desk and night security were very nice and friendly. It's not their fault how bad the rooms are.
Amazing
I don’t usually write reviews but ,this place was amazing . Cute room , fair price , great location and the best part , the fantastic crew at Pacha who made my stay incredible ♥️
Great location & very clean.
4 Days at Pacha
The staff at the hotel were amazing and the location was exactly what I needed - accessible and easy to get to and from when walking. It is located at the corner of a busy/main intersection so it was noisy but that is to be expected for the location. There is a grocery store directly across the street and a convenice store right next door to the hotel. It was 15-20mins walk to most restaurants which I liked so I got to see more of the centro area. The beach is not walkable from this location. Wifi wasn't the best but I attributed to the combination of bad weather/ heavy rains and Tulum being in the jungle...which is to be expected. My biggest concern/issue with my stay was the dust in my room. It was so uncomfortable to be inside and it was on everything - the chair, the headboard, closet, window sill etc. This was the only negative thing about my stay here.
I Might Be Overly Harsh But Underwhelmed
Beds were ok, shower suuuucked, blind didn’t cover the windows and woke us up, but the front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Surprisingly quiet and the restaurant out front rules.
Terrific
Service was terrific, room was perfect, spacious and I appreciated the location. Easy access to all points of Tulum.
Great place to stay
The owner and staff are SUPER friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic. Rooms were nice. Amazing deal. We were all very happy with our stay
The owners were very friendly and helpful and helping his with all the questions we had the breakfast was very good the bike rentals were free which was very convenient.
Place was great. Easy to find after landing in Cancun and driving. Staff were great. Only slight would be the parking and the pool was out of order. Other than that it was really nice
Stay here!
This is a little Oasis in the middle of a busy town! It is clean, safe, & nice! The staff were all vey nice & helped so much in answering our questions. We really liked our room, the pool was clean & pretty, & breakfast was a pleasant bonus!!! We really enjoyed it & the beautiful beaches nearby!! Also, the food trucks (& safe & reasonable) & supermarket across the street were very convenient! Loved our 2 night stay--wish it were longer!!😊😊
Had a great stay, the place was private and the rooms were very nice. Had a pool open until 10. The breakfast was great with several different options cooked to order every morning. Free bikes to use and it's conveniently located to to either go downtown or ride your bike to the beach. I would definitely stay here again.
Breakfast and Bikes
Great breakfast! Free bike rental! Overall a good place to stay in Tulum
It is a lovely hotel. Breakfast is good. Location in the middle - so a cab (100 pesos) or bike to the beach and a small walk to the town. The highway running through Tulum is busy. I think i would stay 3 nights instead of the 4 we booked (only as there is much more to see in Mexico). Definitely felt safe and it great to relax by the pool. All the staff are helpful and friendly.
The room was outdated, smelly and damp. The room was different from the pictures. Not enough blanket and there was no door between bathroom and bedroom. The wifi didn't work. The staff was very helpful in giving advice on places to visit during our stay. I would never go back.
Staff very welcoming and helpful. Made us feel we are home.
Great value and excellent staff
Great staff, excellent breakfast. Best pool. Free bikes. Good location. Good value.
Best hostel in tulum
Great service! Great rooms, we will definitely be back!
Very, clean. Bikes for use. Breakfast included. Staff is very polite, and professional. Thank you
Great service! Excellent breakfast! Have already recommended to family and friends!
wonderful friendly and helpful staff make this an enjoyable place to stay.the rooms are comfortable and clean and spacious.
Highlight of Tulum
Wonderful experience. Friendly staff. Amazing breakfast options. Jose and Mayumi made our stay super comfortable.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The whole property was clean and well kept. Pool and bikes were a real bonus. Just altogether a very charming place to stay.
The rooms were very clean and had all basic amenities needed. Breakfast was delicious- with your choice of 5 different items, coffee and juice. Although the pool is small, without lounge space, it was always clean and very relaxing. The courtyard of the hotel felt like an oasis, with trees providing shade. The staff at the front desk was welcoming, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. Convenience store and restaurant next door, along with a supermarket across the street made it easy to grab snacks, drinks or any forgotten item. I would be happy to stay at Pacha Tulum again!
Great location - next to the supermarket - and free bike rentals made it convenient to ride into town. Clean and spacious, outdoor pool was a nice touch. Staff were extremely helpful and nice! Highly recommend.
Great hotel with friendly staff, we had a large room, breakfast was very good.
I really liked this place, the hotel has an charming environment
Everything about this hotel was great. Location (near everything, the people, the food and cleanliness) I would recommend this to anyone!
Loved our stay here! Very close to town walk-able to restaurants and bars. The staff was very helpful & kind. The hotel/rooms were very clean & comfortable. Recommend this Hotel, was only a couple of mile bike ride to the beach and they had bikes you could use with locks. Happy about our choice to stay here!
Lovely hotel, centrally located, well maintained and quiet. Friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Love the location!
Last time we stayed here, it was in room #6. Great stay! This time was room #7. Room 7 has saloon style bathroom door, so its not as private as other rooms, and had a faint musty smell to it, but nothing too concerning. As always, the owner and staff were super friendly and helpful with everything. We had an early check in with no problems. The included breakfast was made to order, and the small pool is relaxing. I would definitely recommend staying here. The price is right and its located with easy access that the entire town has to offer.
Great little hotel
Arrived early, and they allowed us to store our excess luggage and use the pool while the room was prepared. Staff and owner very nice and accommodating. The location is great, next to restaurants, super market, and convenience store Oxxo.
The hotel is new and clean. Our room was modern, big and full of The breakfast is nice and homemade. Good position!!!!!
Super friendly and helpful staff. Great management. Place was clean and surprisingly quiet considering how close to a busy interesection it is. Very easy to get on bus or catch a shuttle and it’s a straight shot to the hotel zone. Free bike rental was a nice touch! Excellent value.
It was a cute little hotel. But given location (next to a busy ugly loud corner). neighbors...electrical wires buzzing... lame little pool. It was not worth the price. That said, very nice hosts... well done room... nice situation inside the walls. I also didn’t like the nickel and dime charges for our 4 year old.
Great service, Beatrix, Veronica and Fabrizio helped us with everything we needed and suggested us nice places to visit and nice beaches. Extremely clean, the breakfast options are various and all plates are tasty and plenty. The location is not fancy but is close enough to everything: the beach, the Tulum ruins and some cenotes are reachable by bicycle (complimentary by the hotel), the city center with all restaurants, shops and car rentals is 5 minutes by foot. Bravi!
I loved how quiet and peaceful it was and it’s proximity to both town and the beach/ ruins. The free bike rental and included breakfasts were also incredibly convenient.
We'll definitely be back!!!
We loved our stay here! The hotel is simple but has everything you need-- Air conditioning, friendly hosts, good water pressure, and the free bike rental was GREAT.
The staff were amazing & our room was great. We had breakfast on property (included in our room price) & it was really tasty. The cook remembered a previous request and made sure to do it the next day too without me saying anything. There’s nothing more I can say about the room other than it was great. There’s free bikes you can use to go to the beach (I think it was about 15-20 minutes easy & flat path). We walked to the center which was also maybe 15 minutes. There’s a store next door if you need anything and a couple of restaurants around if you don’t want to go to the center. Really quiet and relaxing. We loved our stay here.
cute hotel
Cute hotel. Great service.Good breakfast. Located in a corner between two busy streets.
We loved everything about this place. The staff was amazing. The breakfast had lots of variety after 3 weeks we still loved the food. The pool was perfect for after using the free bikes for the day to relax in. The location if clise to everything. We will be back for sure.
Great staff & convenient location for tour pickups.
Nice hotel with everything you want in walking distance. Polite staff. Reasonable prices
Loud, but great location.
Very cute hotel, and the receptionists are very friendly. The room is smaller than it looks in the photos, but nicely maintained and clean. The king bed is actually just 2 twin beds pushed together, but the bed frame is slick and doesn't keep them together. My partner and I kept waking up because one of us had fallen into the middle between the beds. The room was loud from the pool. We were told pool time ended at 9, but there were usually people in the pool past 11pm. I told the security one night, and he said there was nothing he could do. Breakfast was really good and cooked to order. There is a really delicious restaurant next door that I HIGHLY recommend. The hotel also had a grocery store and atm right across the street. There is always a security guard on duty, which is very comforting if you've rented a car.
A great small hotel
This hotel was surprisingly comfortable and immaculately clean. The provided soap, shampoo, lotion and other products were great. The owners are a very nice couple who were very helpful. The roof leaked in our first room so we were quickly moved to a new room and helped with relocating our belongings. Bike rentals are available. The pool was very clean and convenient. The included breakfast was designed more for Americans than Mexicans and not as tasty as it could have been. There is a restaurant next door that is good and inexpensive. The TV was not connected to watch in the evening but the internet was good. We had a great time at this hotel and enjoyed our stay. Look forward to returning in the fall. We walked from the bus station down town Tulum and the hotel is a comfortable walk from there. The hotel is located quite close to the Zona Arqueólogica and near the public beach. There’s a shopping center with a Chedraui market too.
Calling itself a boutique hotel is pushing it a bit. It's clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. The swimming pool is tiny, more like a large bath than an actual pool. It's somewhat of a distance from either the ruins or the main strip in Tulum. However, the staff are welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful
Nice hotel close to main drag
Surprisingly nice hotel located fairly close to centre and a short car/taxi journey to beach and antiquities.. We were offered an upgrade for a reasonable fee which was perfect. Breakfast was simple but substantial and swimming pool was relaxing
Small lovely friendly place
The unexpected entrance, let’s you in a small well cared and full detailed hotel with the friendliest hostesses you may expect. If you want get away of insensitive, impersonal people this is an excellent option
Very nice place withe great people. Good breakfast. Great that we only had to give a deposite for "renting" bikes, beach towels and snorkling masks.
Really nice place!
Very friendly reception! Very helpfull to get orientated! Enjoyed my stay very much!!
