Excellent service. Great location.
Have stayed here over 10 times. Convenient, friendly, helpful staff, you feel at home. Breakfast is special, really good offerings.
Excellent stay, great position
Very friendly, family-run boutique hotel, in the very heart of Jerusalem.
No breakfast provided or offered even though we reserved and paid for. Accomodations minimal. Towels old and ragged.
Amazing location
Good hotel for what was my first time in Jerusalem Pros - Hotel is within good walking distance to the Old City (about 10 mins) and Mahne Yehuda market. - Amenities (restaurants and shops) are within close range. - Really close to the tram that takes you to Central Station, from where you can get a train to Ben Gurion Airport (a circa 40 minutes journey). - Polite (and willing to help) staff. - They give you an iron in the room if you want one. - The room had a balcony with a nice view of the city. Cons - No intercom in the rooms to call reception so you always have to go downstairs via the lift if you don’t have a local phone number. - Not many dining options and the breakfast at 80 shekels isn’t worth it (you can get nicer meal options for less nearby). - Not all the staff speak English so can be difficult to communicate unless you speak to the person at the front desk. - They only give you one complementary bottle of water in the room for the entire time you are there, whereas it should be a bottle a day for a single room and 2 bottles a day for a double room. - They sell umbrellas to guests when it’s raining but it should be complementary for guests.
Books in the room sheets was dirty the shower in the bathroom, flirts the key hard to open the door.
The staff was very helpful. Our room was spacious. It was easy to access busses, the light rail and cabs there. The breakfast was beautiful and reasonably priced. We would stay there again.
Good sized room, two sinks, very helpful staff. Nice breakfast at a reasonable price. Close to light rail.
Staff is very helpful.
Affordable Hotel in Jerusalem
A very good, clean and well-priced hotel near the light rail and many bus lines in Jerusalem. Walkable to the Old City. Very friendly and accommodating staff. We requested a microwave and got one later thst day. Would definitely stay there again.
Amazing place for half the price of everything else in Jerusalem
Excellent location and good service!
Overall a good experience. Location is very good. Staff is very nice.
We loved our stay at Paamonim! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The buffet breakfast was amazing!!! The location is central to everything. We highly recommend Paamonim.
Great Stay, great fresh breakfasts!!
Family owned hotel. Great location and transportation resources A+ Little family owned stores and restaurant all around. Walking distance to Yehuda Market Very safe location
Terrible experience
Bad choice. I stayed in the single room, very weird, access from the emergency stairs room :/ the temperature inside the room was extremely cold even when air condition was on (29c in aircondition). Totally not worth your money no matter what the price.
Very nice hotel in a superb location
The hotel was in great shape. The shower was terrific, the bathroom and room was clean. The bed was comfortable. I was not so impressed with the Saturday morning breakfast. But it was included for $12.
Location to Old City. Mass transit around the corner from the hotel. Excellant eating places and shopping within minutes of the hotel
The staff was very friendly and accommodating, hotel located in a great location with tons of restaurants and shops within walking distance. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of our room, housekeepers only changed the towels- the bedding was never changed- bathroom and floors were never cleaned…
Fantastic service, incredible location. Thanks again team, we appreciate it
Clean facilities and friendly staff. Room smaller than expected. Breakfast wasn’t always available at the regular start time. McDonald’s a couple blocks away and open during Shabbat when everything is normally closed.
Charming boutique hotel near centre & Old City
Hotel Paamonim is a truly charming boutique hotel right in the middle of the Central district in West Jerusalem, yet just a 20-minute walk from the Old City. Everything about it was perfect - the hotel feels like a show home, with a wonderfully bright and airy lounge area next to the lobby and a colourful, fresh breakfast room that had all kinds of toppings and decor that we’d never seen elsewhere. Quirky art works and objects are dotted all over. Staff made us feel warmly welcome, like part of the family. A tram stop is just outside which goes to the station and the airport; lots of great restaurants, including some open-air next to a live music stage, and the atmospheric food market are nearby, a short walk away. One point - hotels.com says that this and other nearby hotels don’t provide sheets - this is absolutely not true! All bedding and towels etc provided as usual. We’ll be using this as our go-to hotel from now on.
You come there as a guest & you leave there as family! The people are so nice & helpful, perfect location, nice clean rooms.
This is a great hotel, with a relaxed vibe, but if you need anything, they're kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful and varied, and tea and biscuits are available all day. Don't panic if you can't see the reception; you have to take the lift to the first floor. Brilliant location with good bus connections, and within walking distance of the Old City.
Very good service
Good location. Reasonable price
Great stay
Lovely family run the hotel, rooms very spacious and spotlessly clean. Arrived very late, in the early hours and some wine was waiting as a welcome gift in the room. Breakfast is amazing, so much choice. Perfect location for exploring the Old Town, an also right next to the light railway, so easy to reach the main train station. (Airport 20 mins & Tel Aviv 30)
I hated that when I arrived no one was there
The photos are much nicer than the actual property, rooms finishes are old, it wasn’t as clean as I expected, it’s expensive for what you get.
Location is awesome
Good area
Hotel was clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Had plenty of coffee and cookies available in lobby. Very conveniently located. Close to shops, restaurants, banks and Old Jerusalem. Street was busy with lots of pedestrians and felt very safe. One minor issue is lack of parking but fortunately for us we did not have a need for it.
Nothing to like there. Need to speak to manager and demand full return
Lovely hotel
Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The location is perfect, staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is nice, with a varied kosher selection.
Great Place
Very supersizing hotel, in the center very nice team, room was comparable, breakfast ws very unique with fresh orange juice..... thank you anat and tzali
Amazing
Really great hotel, amazing breakfast, staff were exceptional. Will be returning!
It was fine. Very convenient. Close to everything.
Good hotel in city center
Centrally located, right on city center, walking distance to everything. Room clean and comfortable.
Excellent Location, Staff very Friendly & Good Value.
The location was perfect - in between the Mahane Yehuda market and Jaffa Gate. For the most part the hotel was great. However, the showers in the single rooms are tiny. Luckily I’m a small person.
Visit to Jerusalem
Good location, easy walk to old Jerusalem, decent size room, clean, great breakfast area, worth getting the included breakfast. Friendly staff, would stay there again.
The location was convinient to everything. Short distance walk to the train and bus. Nitelife in the market was good.
Exciting plook ace to be
Room was nice. Staff was great. Location is excellent. The area is extremely active 24x7 so there is a good bit of street noise and cavorting all night that makes sleeping difficult if your room is not in the interior.
Nice hotel!
Very nice hotel in general, excellent location and excellent, very helpful and very friendly staff. The only minor issue was with the towels conditions, and it's not clear how well they were washed. The whole stay was very pleasant! I'd stay again and recommend it.
Great place to stay!
It was great! The staff was super helpful and friendly!
The location is excellent - 2 minute walk to the main promenade but still peaceful and quiet. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was modern and clean. Easy check in and friendly, professional front desk crew at all hours. I will return to the Paamonim Jerusalem for future visits.
Location, comfort and the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and cooperative.
Good choice
Great location, excellent price, friendly, trendy. Bathroom was very small but hotel was a very good choice overall.
Im a tourist guide, and this is not a butique hotel. The staff are very nice but leaking in the shower, poor breakfast, unseald windows from noise are not enough.
Very nice and an amazing location. It was no frills but a great value for the money. Staff was extremely helpful
Thank you all! I wanted to especially thank Keren for her great advise on where to go what to eat, etc etc!! Totally recommended!
Great location, average hotel
The hotel is in the perfect location for the Old Town and local restaurants. However, the bed isn't comfortable and the duvet is too small for the bed. Double bed is 2 singles pushed together. Room was quite cold. We used the air con for heating but the filter was very dusty and would blow dust all over the bedroom.
Good location. Staff not so friendly. Moldy bathroom and shower. Bad mattress. All in all, I expdcted more for my money.
Shhhhh... a hidden gem!!!!
Really, a hip, fun, comfortable boutique in the best possible location in Jerusalem - at the intersection of King George and Jaffa St - from the outside, it's kind of a nondescript small entry - but once you take the elevator up one floor, you just can't believe how fun and whimsical it is. I had a great balcony overlooking King George - I enjoyed the sounds of Jerusalem below - but close the window, and it's very quiet. It's super clean - and the lobby is a cool place to relax in. The buffet breakfast is really delicious - so many great choices - I especially loved the juicer to make fresh orange juice with. That might not sound like a big deal, but typically hotels in Israel offer an orange "drink" that is not juice at all! I found the staff a little tough - not the friendliest group - at least to a Californian. And it's really well-priced!
היתה נזילה בשירותים וליד השיש בכניסה. הציעו שנעבור חדר, אבל החלטנו שלא. חוץ מזה היה אחלה, מלון נחמד, מיקום מעולה.
I left certain things a way to see if it would be clean and ut never was. Also the guys that do the house cleaning sre extreamly loudly
Where do I begin?Take your pick:breakfast sub-standard, safe - a joke:tiny, room - dusty.Wall clock did not work,TV - what TV? Face tissues:no such thing says front desk person, suggests to use toilet paper.Shower stall a death trap, nothing to hold on to and leaking.Bath tub not much better.Soap cake was size of a US dollar coin, very small. Bottom line - overpriced, needs updating.Room with amenities could stand some cutlery/dishes: like if you want to eat something you don't have to run downstairs for a fork. You might as well: very outdated elevator. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to a friend or family.
The location is excellent. Right off the light rail, and only a short walk to the Old City.
Awesome location. Rooms definitely could be cleaner.
Average hotel, little higher price for the average hotel, but I stayed during Jewish feast (Sukkot) so everowas booked and hotel rates were higher.
Amazing City, Decent Hotel
Good size room but smallish bathroom. Located close to Jerusalem light rail tram so easy access to Central Bus Station, transport to Yad Vashem... walk down Jaffa Street to Old City. Decent breakfast and front desk service.
Amazing experience
Our stay at Paamonin Hotel was an amazing experience. The service was outstanding, staff was very accomodating and it was a great hotel stay for a great price.
Very Disappointed
We had a very unfortunate incident during our stay at this hotel. We had our room safe broken into and all our valuables we left in the sate were stolen. We lost $1000.00 US, a cell phone and a passport. The staff were not very helpful in resolving this issue and the local police had to be called in to investigate. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!
Great Location, Attentive Staff, Awesome Breakfast
I spent a week in this hotel in May, 2018 and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. My room was #64 which provided a great view of the cityscape and street below. The commuter train is 60 seconds away, the shuk (street market) is a 10 min stroll, the Old City about 15 min. If you are looking for clean, comfortable accommodations without busting the bank, this hotel should be at top of your list. I will most certainly be returning.
Great Stay
We had great experience. Great breakfast was not included in the Hotel deal , but we are pleased with the hotel.
Wonderful Experience
My Stay at this hotel was good overall. We did have a problem with the room as we had booked 2 single beds in the Executive Suite, however when we arrived we were informed that this particular room only conws with a double bed. Apparently the mistake of the advertising agent. By the morning management had moved another bed into the room. The staff are friendly and the location is right in the middle of the shopping centre. Easy access to the tram and buses.
Nice people but poor facilities.
Before I start, I want to be clear that the people who run the hotel are super nice. That being said, the condition of the rooms and the hotel as a whole are seriously lacking. My room, specifically the bath room was not clean. House keeping was half assed about cleaning my room every day. The room was tiny and loud. It was more like a youth hostel that a hotel.
Bed is a little short, Double bed is two beds pushed together, shower needs a renovation already. Breakfast is good but only served from 8 to 10. Hotel staff was great, except the guy that I asked for airport transfer. Didn't really care, but that wasn't a problem since there is the 485 public bus since 2017 that is very convenient from Ben Gurion to the Jerusalem Central Bus Station (actually stops outside the Bus Station) where you can connect to the tram/light rail that drops you directly in front of the hotel. There is only one line of tram in Jersualem, so you can only get on the right one :)
Rude and unhelpful staff, strong smell in rooms.
The service at this hotel was appalling. The staff on the desk are extremely rude and unhelpful. We lost our blue entry ticket from the airport, and so we were charged tax for the duration of our stay. At all other hotels, we were provided with a form to fill out to sign that we were non-Israeli residents. But this hotel would not allow this. The only good thing about this hotel was the location. The rooms had a very strong detergent smell too, which was very overpowering everytime we walked into the room.
Great place to stay
Hotel has a fantastic location. We found it to be great for the money and location. The rooms are comfortable and rather spacious for the area. The hotel is in great condition, though the room we were in it looked like the washroom was in the middle of being re-tiled. Room was well equipped with a microwave and refrigerator. Bed was comfortable. Hotel had complementary coffee and snacks in the lobby which was a great way to start the morning. Only downside was there is a single elevator which could take a while to get to a higher level if there was lots of demand.
Pleasantly surprised.
The shower was very small but sufficient. My sister was also in the hotel in a larger room and her shower was full sized. I guess since I was in the single room I got the small bathroom. Breakfast was fine. The location was great. Withing walking distance to the Kotel and just a block away from Ben Yahuda (Pedestrian walkway and shopping).
Good location, although hard to find
This is a boutique hotel, and the entrance looks like a humble building. We arrived after midnight, not knowing it was going to be so hard to find. We drove for over one hour, and then walked up and down until we finally found it. On the first day we left the room for half an hour to allow the staff to clean the room. Both our iPhone charges disappeared to never be found again. Starting a trip losing the charges was a tremendous disappointment. The place is clean, well located - only a few blocks from the Jaffa Gate, with decent breakfast. Most of the staff was very nice though. Just put everything on the tiny safe :-)
Good stay
Perfect location and good value for the money.
4 friends
the room are very spacious and very clean. the location right where you want to be only 10 minutes walking to the Old City of Jerusalem. breakfast is good, the coffee machine make very good cappuccinos. Behind the building is the old market and only one block away from Ben Yehuda where is a few restaurants and shops. The front desk personal were very friendly and helpful. I definitely I will go back to the same hotel. We love it....
Don't do the mistake !
We ordered one night in this so called "hotel". We left after seeing two rooms. The main attractions are stains on the carpet, unclean rooms and worn sofas. For the first time in our experiences we left the "hotel" to find another accommodation. The receptionist promised to give us back at least half of the room rate but the owner Anat deceided that we were not nice enough to get any money back. If you are looking for a nice hotel in Jerusalem, this is not the one. There are plenty nice and clean hotels, just not this one.
Nice hotel in the city center, terrible breakfast
The major pro of the hotel is it's location. I've stayed in the single room - the room was clean, spacious, the was a tea/coffee pot, refrigerator, though the bed was not very comfortable and the shower was really small. The staff was helpful and friendly. The biggest downfall was the breakfast - simply unacceptable, the sandwiches, the cheese and salads looked stale from two/three days before, none of the guest touched them. I also heard one of the guest saying that the milk gone bad. I ended up eating bread, boiled egg, butter and coffee and the breakfast is way overpriced for the value. Unless things improve I recommend eating at the local bakery across the hotel.
Great location, great rooms, great service.
Issues promptly addressed and resolved with management.
Goid value for cost
We stayed 1 night with a baby. The room is small but clean and nice designed. The balcony is viewing constractions, so if we have stayed for longer, it would have botger us.., the breakfast is good and the service is nice. Location is great, in city center.
Quite hotel in great location
We got the triple room for me, my husband and our 2.5 years old boy, and it fis us perfectly. Breakfast is modest, seticfied and good. The hotel locate in the center, minuts walking from Mahne Yehuda Market and from Nahalat Shiva neighberhood. We walk from the hotel even to Mamila center, The Old City and eventualy arrived to the Kotel.
Nice location, not clean and breakfast is poor...
The location is great, but every thing else is poor
Inexpensive near the beach
The good aspects of the hotel are the closeness to the beach and the price being reasonable. The breakfast is reasonably tasty as well. It is an older hotel--the elevator seemed like it might need replacing soon. Parking is a little bit difficult. If you bring your own car, be prepared for some struggle finding where to park it.
EXECUTIVE SUITE PAAMONIM AWESOME VIEW! Great rates
Was awesome! Loved the peopleso nice and courteous Great bed, had the best sleep I can remember big time chill area and comfortable larg leather couch Big HD TV with lots of American channels Watched the Super Bowl there Spent some time in the hot tub.... Awesome hotel Thank you!
Great location great staff
Can't ask for much more fresh clean rooms. Best location close to every thing no need for a taxi. And to top it off the staff are the nicest people they will go out of their way to make sure you have more then you need
Heating and water problems spoiled our stay.
Heating did not work for 4 of our 6 days stay. Double bed was two singles put together. Water in shower took several minutes to heat up and then became too hot...mixing was difficult. Location is good with access to tram and bus networks. Wifi good.
Charged me two times for one night.
They charged me twice for one night when I booked thru Hotel.com. It took a month to settle it. When I asked to stay another night they charged me 30 bucks more and tole me to "take it or leave it." Not a good vibe about honesty
Modern Hotel, Great Value and Location.
We wanted to travel like Locals and not Tourist. This hotel was modern easy, fun and located in a REAL Neighborhood, not a modern shopping center. We felt like Natives and that is what we enjoyed.
Clean and comfortable and central.
It is a newly renovated building in the centre of old downtown, a bit noisy at times when young people are out at 4 am, It is a safe area, close to all transportation, not far from Mahane Yehuda market. The breakfast was plentiful every morning and tasty with toast, jam, baking, Israeli salad, boiled eggs, yoghurt etc. The bed was comfy and clean, with a white duvet cover over the quilt, white sheets. Coffee shops aplenty on the street and shopping as well. The guys at the desk will also drive people to places like Masada for a price. We had Sammi and he is friendly and helpful.
The bathroom was clean but room is not enough.
Perfect place, not perfect hotel
Perfect ubication in the center of Jerusalem, close to the Western Wall and the shopping areas. The hotel is small, the reception is not the 24hs, and the price dont include breakfast. The room is small but comfortable. The service at reception is okay but the clean service and other staff is not good.
Good choice in good location
Solid hotel. Wifi was terrible.
Different but nice and centrally located.
Tsavi and crew were phenomenal. very responsive to all our requests. The hotel is newly built and very attractive all around. We had a one-bedroom suite with a large kitchen and a decent-sized bathroom. The AC was great and controlled with a remote.
great location poooor breakfast
Was not happy about room size. Eventually they gave upgrade
This hotel was just perfect.
When you walk out the door of the hotel you have everything you need within a block. Train, buses, taxis, and places to eat. The rooms are modern and very clean. The staff (especially the manager tzali) are just great. I'd definitely come back here.
Nice hotel for affordable price
Went in this hotel for short trip. I was anxious where location is. But its right in the center, everything you want from food, shopping, transport and places to see is just stone away. Staff are so warm, made me feel I'm in 4-5 star hotel.
Excellent stay at Paamonim
Second stay. Always excellent. Nice and clean room. Nice staff. Location number one in the center of Jerusalem
Perfect stay
Went with my son for a few days and we were very comfortable. Two separate sleeping areas. Very very clean. Little kitchen very helpful. Nice staff.

Super Stay! great location and very friendly staff
