If you’re looking for quiet peacefulness…

Wonderful place to chill. Just hanging out in the villa with views like the patio seating or hammock…the gorgeous infinity pool overlooking the jungle and ocean…the restaurant is great food and cocktails. We ate dinner there all 4 nights and went into town for lunch and beach a couple of the days. We got a couples massage at their spa which is so peaceful by the waterfall. I did suggest that they offer daily yoga as the website is misleading and it looks like they do but you have to book a private session for $70. Including yoga would be a great way to enhance the stay and allow guests to meet each other. There are no activities included so you’re on your own to enjoy the grounds. It’s all couples since it’s adult only and everyone kept to themselves - it was so peaceful and serene. We would definitely go back! We saw toucans and monkeys from our villa and pool!

Air conditioner wasn't working properly. There were roaches in the room. Shower wasn't working properly either.

We had the most amazing time at Oxygen Jungle, the staff, food, accommodations were beyond expectations. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable and they’re all friendly, professional and spoke English perfectly.

Everything was amazing. The view was stunning, the property is serene, the food was some of the best food I’ve ever had in my life and the staff was absolutely phenomenal. 11/10 would highly recommend

Magic place

This was our third time there. Personnel is always attentive and they are great! This place has some magic feeling, you want to stay there and never leave...

Beautiful views from the pool/bar/dining area. The staff was amazing - probably the most memorable part of our stay. So professional yet friendly. The ride up the mountain to the property is a very bumpy 10-15 minute trip each way, but wasn't as bad as we expected based on other reviews. It was dry season, but one day there were torrential rains and didn't really seem to make the road any worse. Overall, if you're looking to stay near this area, Oxygen Jungle is a good choice.

Pure Luxury

This place is absolutely incredible. If you are looking for a true luxury experience, definitely give Oxygen a try. My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights during our honeymoon and were very impressed by the service we received. The view from the pool area is breathtaking and the bar serves up delicious drinks.

I rarely comment unless it’s truly a remarkable experience. This was absolutely a great place. Incredible staff, food, and overall perfect. Will be back :)

Perfect Place for a Couple - Don’t miss this place

Breathtaking place to stay. The view was beyond my expectations. The service was great. Everyone was kind and helpful. We had a few meals there and they were all great! The pool was so nice, drinks were good. The villa itself was wonderful, so much privacy even in a glass house. The on-site hike it nice, the waterfall massage is a must! The beach is a short drive. You do need a 4x4 the drive is steep, but totally doable. Waking up there every morning was so relaxing, the sunrise, sounds of birds, Tuscans playing, all around it was perfect.

Amazing Staff

From the moment you stay into the hotel you feel like you’re in Costa Rica. They welcome you with a special welcome drink. The staff is incredible and local. The food was really great. The rooms were as expected and clean. The massage was nice. The only thing I would say is i wish we could hear the waterfall from our room and there’s a bit more privacy between each villa.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Upon checking in they decided that the price I was quoted, for the amount of people I had in my party as shown on my email confirmation from Expedia, and was told that that amount was TOO LOW and that they needed to charge me an additional $60/per person. I contacted Expedia and they attempted to then rectify the situation and was told by the hotel that they would not be issuing a refund and that I had to pay the additional amount AND EXPEDIA WAS OKAY WITH THAT. How are you going to let your customers be treated like that Expedia?

We loved our stay at Oxygen Jungle. It was tranquil and romantic, The view is amazing and the decor is chic. The food and cocktails were outstanding and beautifully presented. The spa treatments are in a new open air platform in the jungle, right above a waterfall. So relaxing. I would highly highly recommend Oxygen Jungle.

Everything was amazing! The villas were beautifully tucked up into the forest. 4x4 needed to get there. The staff felt like family, it was hard to say goodbye. We will ABSOLUTELY be going back.

What an amazing place! It's the staff though that really makes this place stand out. We thoroughly enjoyed going up for breakfast to see Ana, Luis, Douglas, Bryan. Everyone is SO kind and you feel like you are among friends. The room and grounds were immaculate. It is very quiet and peaceful. We stayed in an ocean view and boy did we not regret it! A/C works great. Wifi was fast. My only wish, is that the room had places for storage. There is a very small area to hang clothes, but no drawers, so we had to leave our suitcases out on the floor, which is difficult to keep it tidy. Only 2 hooks to hang wet towels, swimsuits, rain coats, etc. Oh, and believe the other reviews about needing a 4x4. Holy moly. My husband grew up on a farm and drives for FedEx and even he was surprised at the terrain. Luckily we had a manual AWD truck and this was perfect. Definitely recommend trying to arrive during the daytime if possible. There was one night that the rain was washing over the top of the single lane bridges and I'm very glad we weren't trying to get there for the first time then! Thanks Oxygen for such a memorable vacation! We hope to see you again!

Oxygen Jungle is a gorgeous spot. The staff was accommodating and kind. They gave us lots of good information about the surrounding area. We could see so much wildlife from our villa and from the pool deck. We could even hear the howler monkeys in the morning off in the distance. We booked a massage by the river and it was amazing. Hearing the sounds of the river and nature all around you was so relaxing. I would definitely visit again!

Modern Paradise

This place is Paradise! We arrived late but that didn't matter Douglas took care of everything. With just 12 villas on site, adult only this place is super chill. We also had a message on the water which was the best. They offer Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner which we took part in and the food was excellent. The pool was fantastic as well. I have nothing negative to say. Thank you Douglas, Luis, Bryan, Ana, Angelica and the rest of the staff. You guys are great!

Where do I begin? The property is intimate, with 12 villas in total and very well kept. The view from the infinity pool and our ocean view villa was breathtaking! The sounds of the jungle, day and night, were so relaxing! The service and staff were outstanding! The food and drinks were extremely fresh and delicious! They arranged our excursions and round trip rides. The owner, Dave, along with the rest of the staff continuously checked in on us throughout the duration of our trip to ensure we had everything we needed and were were will taken care of. This was such a peaceful, tranquil, and relaxing property to stay at! Highly recommended for a couples trip, relaxing girls trip, or solo trip.

What sets oxygen jungle villas apart is it’s ocean view, all glass cabinas and it’s top notch service. Since there are only 12 cabins total, it has a very boutique feel and customer service is personalized. I would go back!

Our 4 night experience at Oxygen Villas was fantastic. The unique nature of the rooms and location on the mountain made for a magical experience. Waking up each morning to the sounds and sights of the immediate surroundings and amazing views of the ocean and coast line added to the effect. The limited number of guest units made for a more private and exclusive feeling while dining or relaxing at the gorgeous infinity pool with view. Our stay was made complete with stellar service from the great staff who were all friendly, helpful and a pleasure to be around. Thanks again to Gary, Anna, Roy, Steven and Leidy for our wonderful stay. We had a blast!

Jungle villa

Our stay at the villas was an incredible experience. The staff always went above and beyond. I ultimately felt like a queen the whole 3 days we were there. Yes this is a pricier option compared to some but I would 100% pay the price again. The villas themselves were always so clean and stocked up when we would return from our daily activities. We chose a jungle villas instead of an ocean villa and I’m so glad we did. One morning (at 5am) we were woken up my a howler monkey which was a really cool experience.

This boutique hotel was absolutely amazing. It’s high in the mountain In the jungle and overlooks the ocean. The atmosphere is relaxing and natural. The music playing at the pool/restaurant is loud enough that you hear it when your eating/swimming but quiet enough that you don't hear it at your villa and very nice to listen to. I love that the hotel is environmentally friendly as they are helping to protect the natural environment around them. We saw white faced monkeys, toucans and coatimundi while on the property. They have an amazing trail that leads to multiple waterfalls. It is kept very natural so I suggest wearing runners that you don’t care to get wet and dirty. There are also howler monkeys close by, we unfortunately didn’t get to see them though. The staff was amazing! At check in, Brian was very kind As he helped us with the luggage and get settled into our villa. Another staff member took the time to teach us about some of the animals in Costa Rica, she was very knowledgeable! Our villa was spectacular. Very clean, modern and environmentally friendly! Laying in bed listening to the sound of the jungle was so serene. The food was amazing!!! Thank you to all the chefs! The menus has A mix of traditional Costa Rican with “North American” or “American” choices such as pancakes, eggs and bacon. We did however wish there were a couple more traditional dishes. Overall this hotel is a MUST stay when in Costa Rica! Thank you again!!!

This is one of those life experiences you are going to remember for years to come. We had a family of toucans come eat and hang out at the tree that was directly in front of our villa every morning while we were there. There was also this huge morpho blue butterfly that we would see out on the trails and around the mountain, it was a beautiful contraast to all the greenery. We did get some rain during our vacation, but it's a rain forest, and that's to be expected. The rain is absolutely peaceful and serene over the mountain. The staff is very nice and very attentive

The entire place is a unique gem 💎. It’s a very special place in the middle of the jungle, private yet close to everything. The staff was outstanding! I recommend any couple to go here! Not only was it a spot for romance but I’m sure this could be a place to restore a marriage

The staff here is excellent—all very friendly and attentive. The property is kept very clean and we enjoyed the restaurant. When we were not in our villa, the only other place to hang out was the pool/restaurant/reception area, which is a small space. We did not realize how quiet and secluded the resort is, and wished we had rented a car. Cabs and outside activities added up quickly. We would have liked if there were some on-site activities, socials for guests, etc. We lost power for several hours and had a full day of hard rain that made for quite a boring day staying at the property. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but renting a car is a must unless you are only looking to relax at the property or don’t mind paying a hefty bill at checkout.

Our stay at the Oxygen Jungle was nothing short of amazing. The unique all glass villas were so beautiful and made us feel like we were actually sleeping in the jungle. The ocean view was extraordinary, the staff was extremely friendly, and attentive to our needs. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to step out of their element and enjoy a breathtaking stay in rainforest! You will not be disappointed!

The unique thing about Oxygen Villas is the size, only a max of 12 couples can stay there. Because of the small size the staff really get to know you, make the drinks and food exactly as you like it and recommend the excursions and off property restaurants that fit how you want to explore Costa Rica. The only negative my wife and I had was that the showers didn't get hot enough. Very minor but really, that is the only negative we had.

This place is pure paradise. It is gorgeous.. The views are amazing. Quiet and peaceful. We walked to the falls on the property and enjoyed the sounds of the Howler Monkeys in the near distance. The staff are amazing - very kind and professional. It like that there are no kids and no tvs….just beauty, nature, and peace. I will be back for sure someday.

A++. I consider myself an extremely picky person, but everything about this stay was absolutely outstanding! The glass villas were incredible and the views were breathtaking, but I think what really made this stay memorable for us was the service. From the moment we arrived, Bryan, the front desk staff was accommodating and welcoming. Any issues we had during our stay (there weren't many), Bryan was prompt in ensuring they were taken care of. What we particularly appreciated about him was that he genuinely cared about us and always made sure we were having a great time in Costa Rica. Housekeeping staff also did a spectacular job. The villa was always so spotless you literally could eat off the floor. They went above and beyond in ensuring the unit always appeared as if we had just checked in. For meals, we really got to know our server, Roy. He was such a nice person and a pleasure to see every day. He too, went over and above the call of duty to ensure we were always happy. Roy was attentive, prompt and best of all a genuinely kind and happy person which is so important when you are on vacation. The only negative comment I have is that the food is expensive and not quite up to par with the excellent food choices in Uvita / Dominical. Overall we had an amazing time at Oxygen. They have a great product and amazing staff to make your stay truly unforgettable! I would definitely recommend Oxygen to my friends and family and if you are considering it, don't think twice!

The Villa we stayed in was spectacular. The outside entrance had a couch that overlooked the ocean and the sunset. It also has a screened in enclosure that you could leave open or close around the couch. The bed was a four post canopy bed, also having a screened enclosure that you could close off. A very romantic setting if that’s what you’re looking for. They were only 12 Villas total on the property so that limits the number of people on the property, which I prefer over a large hotel with countless people. I really enjoyed the staff (Steven/Jose/Roy/Daniela/ Brian) they introduced themselves and got to know us the first day. They were very accommodating and personable during our stay, catering to our every need. The food available at the restaurant was definitely above average, and very reasonable prices for all of the meals. We really enjoyed the pool area as well, because it’s sized so the guests get to see and meet each other daily. The Wi-Fi worked extremely well on the entire resort, but if you’re looking for a TV there are none in the room. Which was OK with us. Uvita is about 10 minutes away, it’s a very small town and has a few places to eat and see like a whale watching tour. Overall, we really enjoyed it, definitely a small setting in the middle of nowhere and very relaxing. But if you want A+ service this is the place to visit.

Excellent service

Being my first time to Costa Rica, I was surprised at the condition of the road to the resort. Disregarding that, the staff were all very friendly and accommodating to our questions and requests. The villas are unique and very peaceful (aside from the interesting jungle sounds that peak in the early morning). The two waterfalls on the property are well worth the short hike to see them.

This place is an amazing resort, from the breathtaking view when you check in to the superb service received by the entire staff. There are only 12 villas which makes you feel secluded. This is an awesome place to relax and getaway. I mentioned the staff, Jose, their newest staff member was terrific. His customer service skills were in full force. Roy, Bryan, and Daniela also were stars. Roy was terrific as our host during our dinners at the resort. He was extremely attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this and already planning my next trip.

Amazing Views, Staff and Location! Would absolutely recommend this hotel. The staff were all wonderful and took care of any little thing that you needed. The villas were exactly what we were looking for, quiet with breathtaking views. The infinity pool pictures are exactly accurate. The town of Uvita was amazing and the friendliest people I've encountered in Latin America. We would go back in a heart beat.
