Staff was friendly and welcoming. The property was beautiful with a lot of space to hangout. The rooms were clean and well managed.
Walking distance to every main attractions and plenty of restaurants around. Also the hostel has pizza nights for very affordable prices.
Great, friendly staff. Rooms were clean along with showers in room
Within walking distance to train station; sae area; reasonably priced considering the location
The hotel is so old and the room smells bad.
Super friendly staff
The staff was super friendly and helpful. I have arrived late and the restaurants were closed, Martina the receptionist offered me a sandwich and fries for free!
I stay only 1 night. And was Nice
Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Great Space!
Check-in was super easy and smooth, I was given a welcome drink token and my breakfast coupons. Although the room was small, it was exactly what was advertised and perfect. The Hostel offered a cute little gathering area with games and music, and and outdoor space. I was able to take part in the "Family Dinner" which was a free option. I would definitely come back.
Super great atmosphere and staff with clean nice size rooms!
Great mix of private areas and social mingling areas
Hotel Edera is a slightly older Hotel but has everything you need its clean. staff are helpful, breakfast is continental, Hotel is quite central and is in a quite road
There was a tappümg sound coming from the wall we explain that to hotel manager, she said that it was drippimg sound of rain however it was nıt raining that day but there still was a sound we could not sleep
Property is within walking distance to the colosseum, Roman forum, restaurants and the metro. If you are a light sleeper this place isn’t for you. The walls are paper thin. You hear people going to the bathroom, blowing their nose etc. the beds need replaced - you can feel and hear every spring in the bed. Front desk is open 24 hours which is nice.
Just an OK experience.
Just an OK experience. The various individuals at the front desk were always kind and pleasant. Most disappointing was the condition of my room. Not much worked as it should have - AC unit did not work right, TV had no power, refrigerator had no power and lights in room flickered (Might have just been a bad outlet that some of the items were plugged into). My bed was also very uncomfortable. Anytime I ran the shower there was a puddle of water one the bathroom floor. I think this was a result of the type of shower doors. Water pressure was good. The styling of the room was very outdated. The room was also not very clean (at least not to my standard). On my first of three nights I found that there was someone’s used razor and bathing loofa left in the shower. Second day - cleaners took my bar soap and did not leave a new one (thankfully I packed an extra). All in all a good location close to the colosseum. Price was right for the condition that the room was in. I paid around $60-65 a night through hotels.com. I likely would not stay here again if there were other options.
It is near subway. Very smelly needs refurbishment
I like the location of the hotel. Very close to all the tourist sites, easibly access by foot. What I did not like was the condition of the room. Air conditioned was not working. There were cracks in the ceiling, and breakfast was very disappointing.
While as many people have stated the hotel is abit run down, it's in a great location and the staff are friendly. There isnt a room safe and you have to pay to use one at front desk contrary to what their page says.
Well, we arrived to check in and were told there were no rooms available. Instead they transferred us to another hotel of their chain. Why didn’t they advise us in advance? Won’t recommend this hotel.
Location. It is close to the Colosseum and the Roma Terminal.
Near everything, 10 to 15 min walking to most important locations, also the metro was not far away
Only real issue was a total lack of water pressure in the shower
There was a musty smell in the bathroom. The bathroom had no window.
The property was clean and had all the little essentials.
The hotel was in an excellent location- 5 minutes walk from colleseum. Helpful staff. Basic but clean rooms. Great value for money
The hotel was in a perfect Location, walking distance from the Colosse and other Monuments which was nice. But The Wifi Signal was very poorly and they didnt do anything about it. I called them and they said they were aware and that was normal. If you looking to take a break from social media this is your place.
Quiet & Convenient Location
Great location with close walking proximity to Termini train station, colosseum and other attractions. Within walking distance to hop on hop off bus stops as well, either theColloseum or the Basilica Papale di Santa Maria Maggiore stop. Room was nice, bed comfotable, bathroom decent sized, having a bathtub was a bonus for a nice soak after a long hot day of walking around Rome. The area seems quite safe at night, I walked back to the hotel by myself every night from the train station with no issues. The facility was clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was good also.
Worth your $$
Great service. Clean and comfortable room, has a/c, very good breakfast. Most importantly, walking distance from coliseum, buses, Roma Termini train station.
Never Again
The hotel is in a good position. That's the only positive. Asked to pay in full upon checking in, usually pay hotels when you leave. Told that check out is 10.00am, albeit your details say 11.00am. In room 22 curtains are falling off the track so impossible to close properly. Shower head would not stay in high position on fitment. Had to hold shower head in one hand to shower. After 9.00 it maybe took 15 minutes before any hot water came to the room. Upon checking out was presented with invoice. I needed invoice made out with my company address but they refused to do this. I was told I should have asked for such an invoice when booking. Terrible staff attitude. This was my 3rd visit but definitely my last.
Peeling wallpaper offset by location & bathroom
I only spent time in the hotel to sleep, it was mostly clean but the wallpaper was peeling, and the bed wasn't attached to the mattress. However, the bathroom was in good condition and the location is excellent. The service was also very good.
great location between train station and Colloseum.
No heating. Freezing room.
The room given to me the first night was absolutely freezing. I was told there was no other. I couldn’t believe it. On pointing this out the night receptionist suggested I was better off because he had to spend the night in a much colder reception area because the main door opened all the time! Incredible! Room 103 should not be used for hotel guests. It is not connected to the rest of the hotel bedrooms. Seems like a desperate space conversion to make money. Second night was much better after I was given another room. It actually had heating. Breakfast was skimpy but the sole lady server was extremely polite. Perhaps the only kind soul in a hotel of surly men.
I was frozen at night - no heating! I would wake up shivering and only had a thin blanket to keep me warm. Everything we touch broke - button to flush toilet fell when pushing it & wall sockets just come out the wall with the charger. Asked for a double bed and got two singles put together - uncomfortable and disappointed We didn’t complain as made the most of our time there but would not recommend nor would I go back!
Nice basic hotel. Good breakfast and good location.
PRE CRUISE STAY
Check in was easy, our room on first floor was very spacious. The breakfast were very European but good. Especially the DANISHES in the morning breakfast. I could have eaten more than 4 each morning. It was an easy walk to the COLOSSEUM, 10-15 minutes. Very easy to get to many of the sites. We found a very inexpensive Restaurant less than 8 minutes away. A good meal for 9 euros. It is two short blocks away; turn right out of Hotel , continue for two blocks- La Communa- something like that- I forget actual name. The room is very clean but TV has no English stations but sometimes will have English movie. There is Free WIFI but on second day did not work. Computer in Lobby- 1 EURO per 60 minutes. There is a printer- free. We used CSE service to get to Hotel from airport- 60 Euros ( taxi fix -48 Euros). Transfer from Hotel to Port- 85Euros-for 3 or Private transfer 130 EUROS-3. Very efficient service, arrives on time( Civiteaicchia Shuttle Express). The personal in Lobby very helpful and nice. We had to leave key to room each time we left- no problem. We will be returning for one night after cruise. Looking forward to the delicious danishes the next morning. The double bed was very comfortable and our friend had a sofa bed to sleep on. The room was cleaned the next afternoon. Very good. If we return in 2020, we will definitely stay here.
Great location, pleasant staff, clean and comfortable rooms.
The location is fantastic and overall the hotel is well-maintained (and the complementary prosecco was a nice touch), but based on my experience and one of the other reviews, I think the #0 (my room was 60, one of the other reviews I think mentions 40) rooms might have plumbing issues that result in sewage odor spilling back into the room. I thought I smelled something vaguely funky when I got back after my first day, but it was particularly pungent after I got back at the end of my second day - I imagine this was because I had made a mid-day stop during which I had closed the window that housekeeping had left open, and I also have to wonder if housekeeping leaves the window open knowing the issue. The smell problem is easily solved by opening the window and letting the bathroom fan run, but still, this isn't something a customer should have to deal with.
Its a central place so convenient travel
Room had no charging point. Breakfast was not great. I had some extra charges per night stay and to take out 1 print out which I found costly Overall good to ok...
I was not at all happy whilst I was in this hotel
I unfortunately had a bad experience on my arrival in Rome. I was robbed of my money (euros) and my credit card, I was left with no money, and had to report to the police in terminal 3 in Leonardo Da Vinci airport. jet2 representative helped me and I eventually made my way to the hotel. The hotel seemed satisfactory, but unfortunately my WiFi did not work in my room, and my phone and tablet had to be connected to the WiFi on reception desk. So, my information could be read by reception staff. E mails, personal messages to my partner, and as I had been subject of a robbery, this meant I was vulnerable situation and not happy about anything. As my stay continued, I was booked in from 7th until 10th, some very strange things started happening. I had contacted a guy on reception named Max, who initially was quite friendly, but something didn't seem quite right, don't know what. It became apparent after my coming back from a Chinese meal, that there was a message from myself, stating to my partner I had a lovely meal, when I fact I wasn't even on the WiFi, so how had I sent this. I queried this point to Max on reception, to which he certainly backed off, and wasn't so friendly. I still have all the e mails sent to and from my partner, and there is a discrepancy in time. Without putting it bluntly, it's terrible that I even have to mention this happened within the Edera hotel. I felt most uneasy, by the end of Saturday night, I did not stay, I left on Sunday to another hotel.
Stayed here before and had a good experience this time the room had issues refridgerator not cold air conditioner did not cool room Desk staff efficient and friendly
Good location to see sights nearby resturants good wifi
It was a small but quaint hotel. Very friendly staff.
just an overnight stay... good value for the price of the room.
Great location, but needs some serious renovation!
Very nice and friendly people at the desk, and amazing position just a short walk from the Colosseum and the Forum. Ample continental breakfast choices but didn't like the juice (was pretty tasteless). Welcome gift of a small bottle of prosecco in the room (unluckily by Maschio - not a great choice taste-wise). Unluckily this hotel seriously SCREAMS for a refurbishment - broken wallpaper, rattling AC unit, half broken shower head and badly working tap knobs, unresponsive tv getting often stuck on a few channels, the breakfast room in the basement and remembers a school refectory from the 80s. Wifi better forgotten - easy to connect, but the speed wasn't enough even for a skype voice only call. Get an European or Italian sim card with some data plan if you stay here. Strong moldy smell coming from the bathroom, most probably from the wash basin pipe. Couldn't find anywhere a price list for the drinks held in the room's fridge. Recommended for short stays due to the great location between two subway lines, and the quick walk to the main archaeological area and the church of St. Maria Maggiore. Also 10-15 mins on foot from Termini station, but I'd recommend to avoid walking the full way in the warmer months with your luggage.
Lovely centrally located hotel
Very nice hotel in Rome not far from the central station but on a very pretty street with flowering trees just beyond the more congested area. Breakfast provided was very nice also.
This hotel is a great hidden gem! Only a 5 minutes walk from the colosseum! Beautiful park nearby. Room was super large for European standards. Bathroom was large as well. 24/7 service desk is available. Close to colosseum train station (10 min walk). Would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Rome!! Didn’t get a chance to experience breakfast, had to check out very early to get to the airport.
Good basic hotel in good location
Hotel Edera is a clean, basic, safe hotel which from my point of view is a great base from which to explore Rome. It is in a very quiet area (great for sleeping!), but is only a 10 minute walk to the Colesseum and all other sites are within walking distance (although the Vatican may be a little too far for some – around 4.5km). For those who want to, there are also good links with local buses and the metro. The décor of the hotel is definitely old fashioned and while you have everything you need, the facilities are a little basic. A lot of people complain about the breakfast – but I thought it was quite adequate for the star rating. If you plan on spending a lot of time in the hotel, or expect a little luxury, then I suggest you look somewhere else. However if you are looking for somewhere clean, safe, relatively cheap and in a good location, then this place is ideal. I found all the staff to be lovely and had no trouble at all. As a single female traveller this can’t be understated!
Amalfi still beautiful
The view is amazing, but everything else was terrible, mattress sheets had stains and pillows covered with dust. Even our breakfast was old and juice mug had mold and milk tasted bitter. The cake, croissant and cheese were offered on the same exact plates missing the same exact peices from the day before
Decent hotel near public transport and Colosseum
The hotel is showing signs of age. The walls are showing wear and the building in general looks and feels dated. However, the accommodations were good given the price and location. Room was clean and staff were friendly. It was comfortable and had a functional air conditioning unit and TV. It's a short walk to the Metro line and the Colosseum is within walking distance also.
Good location but comes with a price
Besides the good location and easy walking to many sites, the rooms are outdated. Also, it was not possible to work at all with the poor wifi speed. And the “luggage storage” is anywhere in the hall.
This hotel is excellent value for money. Smart and clean rooms. An excellent breakfast. A pleasant courtyard and seating area. Within walking distance of the train station and many of the sites. Highly recommended.
Nice simple hotel
The location was good, the hotel was clean, and the service was friendly. Basically, this is nice modest hotel near the Colosseum.
A great stay!
It was generally convenient, except for the internet. It was so week and at times really frustrating. But, it a good hotel simply. Thanks and regards,
WiFi not strong enough
Fine option for a stay if you’re on a budget. Linens and bathroom clean and front desk staff are lovely! Hotel is a bit outside the Rome historical center (8 minutes walking to Colosseum, 25+ minutes walk to everything else). There was a note in the room regarding that the hotel is not responsible for items left outside the safe (standard) but no safe was provided in the room. I’m not sure if this was a room specific issue (4th floor, room 50) or with the hotel overall, but there was a terrible smell right outside the room’s doorway, possibly coming from the plumbing (the smell dissipated from the interior of the room as long as I had the bathroom door shut). There are no key cards, only physical keys that staff ask you to leave at the desk before leaving the hotel. The desk was always manned and I never had an issue requesting my key upon return. There is no lock, deadbolt or burglar bar on room doors though, so if you’re planning on waiting out the morning crowds, expect to have housekeeping key into your room even if you’ve called out to them that it is occupied!
For a 3 star hotel this place was in tatters... I initially checked up on some of the review for Hotel Edera and ignored most of them... silly. This is part of a Hotel chain, they must have the money to do up this hotel. I initially ignored the reivews about the state of it as I assumed it was a small sole Hotel, not part of a chain, until I entered and looked at the back of a book they had left in my room. It's not what I expected for a 3 star hotel and I would probably not go back and stay there again to be honest.
Pleasant Hotel Close to the Colosseum
I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Edera. It is located a few minutes walk away from the Colosseum and Forum, on a quiet street close to restaurants and cafes. The staff were very pleasant, my room was comfortable and quiet, and the continental breakfast was tasty and sufficient. I was also able to leave my bag near reception before check-in, and before I checked out. With regards my room, I had a single room which was large and comfortable, with a large bathroom. There was a mini bar available, which I didn't make use of, but was stocked with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The air conditioner worked well, and there was a hairdryer available had I needed it. The continental breakfast allowed a choice of bread and rolls, cold meats and cheese, boiled eggs, tomatoes, cereal, pastries and tarts, milk, juice, and coffee or tea. It was tasty and more than enough to get the day started. Also, it started at 07H00, which allowed me to get going early. Taxis were easy to book at reception, and Uber is also available in Rome. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay at Hotel Edera again if I visited Rome on another occasion.
Value for money
The negatives outweigh the positive
On the positive side the room was clean and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was nice and even had a bede. The hotel was very close to the Colosseum and Palatine Hill. On the negative, we had no running water for one day at all, were unable to wash or flush the toilet and no apology or compensation of any sort. The breakfast lacked a healthy option and the bread was dry on the first morning and even drier the second! There's no tea/ coffee facilities in the room and no bar in the public seating area. I definitely won't stay again.
24 hour check in.
24 hour checkin. We arrived at 4 am. Helpful, because we got off of a bus and took a taxi there. Nice big bath tub. 5 minute walk from the Coliseum. A place to hold our suitcases while we explored the city after checkout. Overall, it suited our purpose.
I like the interior of the room, the Colosseo is just walking distance from the hotel, Wi-Fi could be better in room #60, but excellent hotel.
Good location
Nice small hotel with very close to the Colosseum. Some good restaurants within easy walking distance.
Good location close to the Colosseum
Pleasant hotel, rooms slightly outdated and need a makeover. Breakfast good Ideal location.
Good place great price!
Staff was helpful, breakfast was ok, the room was clean and comfortable. Great location about 8 minutes walk to the Colosseo.
The price is right
The price is the best thing about this hotel. Do not expect much and you will be pleased. It has all the basics. The staff was friendly and helpful. A cat in court yard was always in the exact same spot
Our hotel was changed to another chain-hotel without any notice before our arrivals. They told us we were changed to a four-star instead of staying in a three-star. But I gotta say there is no difference between the rating. They all look the same, typical classic room style.
The rooms at the Edera are huge and very clean, and breakfast was pretty good. It's less than a 10 minute walk to the Colloseum.
Murano in venice! Were felt as being home!
Hommy place. After runing from airport in a bus to plaza roma to look around and boat bus tu murano this was the perfect place to stay. It felt like staying with a relative and the reception very nice with fruty wecome and a lot for brekfast. Thanks!
Fab location in City Centre, close to Colosseum
We flew into Fiumicino Airport from Heathrow and took the Terravision Bus (pre-booked online) into Termini Station which was so quick and easy. On arrival it was extremely busy around the station, so decided to get a taxi to The Edera Hotel (€8), we actually walked back on our return journey. We were cheerily greeted just after 1pm and given the keys to room 5 which looked out over the courtyard. We were told that check out was actually 10.00am at this point. Room 5 was huge, clean but dated and had two single beds pushed together to make a double. There was a TV (only Italian speaking channels) air-conditioning, hit & miss Wifi and a mini- bar. The bathroom had a hairdryer and a few complementary toiletries - it was clean, with spotless soft white towels, but the bath was unusually small with mixer shower taps (no screen) and a huge split in the bottom of the bath. Breakfast was cold buffet Continental style with good strong coffee. The main plus factor was the closeness to the Colosseum - less than 5 minutes to walk, the Hop-on, Hop-off bus stop and a short walk to the nearest bars & eateries. (recommended: Kathmandu Fast Food, Il Padellaccio, Brancaccio which are all nearby). Our 3 night stay here was ok for a short break in this beautiful city.
Average!
Very bad air conditioning! Roberto at front extremely welcoming & nice. Very helpful. Breakfast was mediocre.
Wonderful and great location!
The room and staff were wonderful. Very kind and friendly, and the rooms were very clean. Thank you so much! Very close to the collisium!
Great location in local neighbourhood.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Location was fantastic- away from the tourist crowds in a local neighbourhood, a 10 minute walk to the metro and walkable from most tourist attractions and with a park close by.
The Hotel from the outside needs a tidy, and room was spacious and comfortable and staff were friendly and spoke good English, the surrounding area however was very dirty. All modes of transport were within a 5 minute walk from the Hotel.
Comfortable
Overall good, although in room 44 some attention needs to be made to the shower as it sprays everywhere and the showerhead is uncontrollable.
Nice hotel in Rome
This hotel was nice, had an elevator, located close to Colosseum and close to the metro. Very good location. Nice breakfast, clean, and nice. The beds were hard but this is a common thing in many places. Enjoyed my stay there. And Air Conditioned which is very important in Rome!
Quirky Hotel with lots of charm.
Nice & peaceful hotel a little tatty around the edges but very nice location. only 9 min walk from the Colosseum. the room was spotless and the breakfast substantial. At only €64 a night you can not complain.
Great Hotel
It was great to come back to a very comfortable room and helpful reception staff during our week's stay in Rome. The service at breakfast was excellent with friendly staff and the daily room cleaning and bed making could not be faulted.
Comfortable hotel in excellent location
Very good breakfast, clean rooms, good bathrooms with hot water always available. Staff very helpful and kind :) Nicely presented basic facilities and good value for money. Would stay here again. The location is superb - short walk to colosseum through a park - and easy access to public transport. Recommended.
Excellent base for a trip to Rome.
The hotel was in an excellent location close to the coliseum with plenary of bars and restaurants nearby. Certainly can't complain about the price, very reasonable, however this is I guess why the hotel is looking very tired and in need of a lick of paint and basic maintenance undertaking. Having said that it was extremely clean, the courtyard was a great chill out zone for a few glasses of prosecco after a full day sightseeing before going out to sample the many lovely restaurants close by. All in all a lovely trip to Rome and for what we paid, a good, clean, centrally located hotel - can't ask for much more really.
Good location .. quiet place . good size room..
I need to say thank you for everyone work there . Help me when I need ..this hotel was basic but trying to doing the best .. I really recommend .. the location was good .. easy to find the hotel .
Simple.
Simple, Pleasant. Wifi wasn't amazing but got the job done, no hot water on the last day but other than that it was fine.
Convenient and clean hotel
The hotel was easy to find. It is an old fashion hotel. When you depart the hotel for the day you have to leave your room key at the desk.
The hotel was clean and excellent value for money. Location was superb very close to the sights. Recommend for value stays in Rome.
Great hotel very spacious rooms
Weekend stay at hotel great location. .lots of walking and exploring. Ice bar is a cool place to visit
Not a great experience.
While on the whole it was OK, I am fairly unhappy with this place. The main issue was the shower, which had no hot water for two of my three days. When I reported this, twice, the response was to shrug and to say they couldn't do anything about it. No attempt to get anyone to look at it, just 'well, what can I do?'. I resisted the urge to yell that what they could do was their job! Breakfast was concerning. In between guests at breakfast tables. the cleanup involved the breakfast woman just wiping crumbs off the table with her hand, which isn't exactly very hygienic. There wasn't even a sign of a damp cloth, let alone any cleaning sprays. Then there came to security. The cleaning staff opened up all the doors and went into the rooms one by one, leaving the other rooms insecure and out of sight for significant amounts of time. Not to mention that bag storage on leaving. I left my bag there on my final day, a service which almost every hotel offers. This one however had no ticket to make sure you only took the right bags, they weren't stored on a secure area, they were just left to the side of the checkin desk, and I know for absolute certainty that when I came to collect mine, they didn't check it was mine, they didn't check I only took my own, The desk guy was busy on the phone and didn't even look up as I walked in, took a bag and left. Also, when you pay, KEEP YOUR RECEIPT. They tried to double-charge me a tax payment of 12EUR, saying I hadn't paid it. I had.
Comfortable visit
I had a pair of sunglasses go missing from my room. Some staff had a very abrupt towards me. Overall the hotels location & breakfasts are great.
Close to attractions
No problems
Lovely Stay
Lovely stay at Edera - super close to the Colosseum (10 min walk) - a really nice park close by. Many restaurants between hotel and Colosseum. Close to Metro stop, Termini, many other sites. Lovely breakfast and staff was wonderful. Lovely outdoor patio for guest use. Only downside - no shower, just tub with hand held shower head. Wifi not always reliable - probably problem with server not hotel. Definitely would recommend this hotel or stay again on our next trip to Roma.
i likr the hotel. in a calm place
good
Disorganised hotel
Will not stay here again. Disorganised check in. Was told they gave my room away when I arrived cuz the hotel was overbooked. Transferred me to a different hotel in a less convenient location. Then was given a room with broken Air conditioning. When asked to swap room, staff was hesitant. Overall, service quality from the staff was mixed. One staff was friendly while others were cold and uninformative. Asked for sightseeing recommendation, the reception staff responded 'I don't know what you want to do' period. Breakfast was ok. Typical continental style.
Very good locations, close to some attractions
Nice location, 20 minutes walk to train and bus station , lots of restaurant around, 5 mins. Walk to the coliseum , you can also walk to see Spanish steps if you really want to walk. Breakfast is not that great but it's ok same cold cut every morning , I would say since that the same people eat breakfast they should change the menu everyday because if I will stay there for 2 weeks , I don't want to eat the same breakfast everyday. The morning duty staff at the front desk was nice, was not bad, I only need it for few days anyway . I would definitely come back to this hotel if the same price .
Viva Roma
An enjoyable visit to Roma, the hotel was convenient for the Colosseum, St John Lateran and the Domus Aurea. Clean, comfortable and in a quiet area. Very helpful staff.
Related atmosphere
Had a very relaxed stay with out any problems
Good location
Pro:It's near the colosseum. Cons: staff Location: close to the colosseum The hotel is pretty good. Clean and well taken care of. Breakfast was also good. Not much to say. Pretty standard place. The front desk staff was not very helpful.
Good deal for the price
Had a two day reservation changed it to four. The bathrooms are good. The bed was a little hard but not horrible. Pretty quiet at night. Housekeeping was excellent. The breakfast was pretty good. Within walking distance of the colosseum, roman forum, and bus stops. Side note:the restaurants across from the colosseum are horrible. Don't eat there. Food=bad, prices=worse, service=terrible.
Good for the money but could be Brilliant
Such a nice hotel and would be an amazing 3* hotel if for minor details and changes to the hotel, Firstly Wifi and I was majorly disappointed to find such poor wifi in the hotel rooms but not too bad in the lobby area. Secondly i found my room to be Damaged ( Shower , Tiles, and other small stuff which can't remember ). The shower was the main issue. It he Shower head which was damaged and very easy and quick also the Shower Doors were where they haven't been fitted correctly so didn't meet together so when you have a shower you basically soaked the floor . The Shower was basically unusable for me but now for me who was staying one night then it was manageable and I never said anything mainly because I used it only 2 hours before checking out so not much they could do but to someone else this would be a major problem. This Location was brilliant especially going out night because if you staying out late then you can just walk or get a taxi when public transport is closed and would recommend because of this and for the price is amazing for value for money. Dropping off bags was very unsafe feeling if where it was just leaving them in corner and I know there was always someone at the desk but just didn't give you the feel of them being safe when you returned.
Not money value hotel
The hotel is ok. The beds are horrible, the mattresses are as good or as the rest of the furniture in the hotel (from the 50s). Fruit in breakfast looked like the supply manager went to the store and ask for the ones that were about to throw away. The price does not match the experience in this hotel, for that price I would find a better hotel, location and customer service are the only good things about this place.
It's a nice hotel well situated. It's less than 10 min away from the coloseum, and 15 min from the train station Termini. The room was clean. The breakfast is a buffet breakfast, It's the same typical italian breakfast everyday (very sweet). I enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly. I didn't have anything to complain about. I knew it wasn't a 5 star hotel, so I wasn't expecting a luxirious place. But I wasn't disappointed at all. It's a good hotel.
