Location was beautiful looking out to the sea. Had everything we needed in the unit, even plastic cups, plates and bowls for littlies.

Lovely property and area. Not super walkable unless you are fit. Had a wonderful time and staff were friendly and prompt.

We were very happy with our stay, magnificent views, beautiful apartment that had everything you need. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Lack of parking, and couldn't access 2nd basement level parking at Adelaide St. When we reported this, was told to park on the street - there is no close street parking! Access card wouldn't open the terrace gate either. Checked with reception the next day and was told "oh yeah, other people have said that too". Thats not good customer service. The fridge supplied, wouldnt get cold. No freezer. Excerise step supplied to get into the bath/shower. Then the glass door wouldnt open and i was stuck in the shower. Wasn't good value for what we paid. Won't be staying there again.

The property was lovely. The view was good on the north facing room but would have been better south facing. The pool is heated and very clean. Great for a night or 2. Small TV and not able to connect to the smart functions but that was ok too. Great staff and they remember your name which was a fantastic thing as a guest to hear. Would recommend a stay thereeven with the walk up the hill.

Liked having a spa bath however getting in and out difficult if you have mobility issues.

Short stay

Stayed for a long weekend. Room was tidy. Good location as long as you don’t mind a walk up and down a steep hill. We were fine with it. Pool was good and clean. Easy parking.

Great stay

You need to be allergic to natural light and carry your own oxygen supply if you book a room through Wotif. As always, if you book through wotif, you get the worst available room in the complex. Wotif needs to put pressure on properties to stop treating Wotif customers with contempt.

Very clean, helpful staff, great views, close to everything.

We were given a sea view upgrade and just loved it. Will be back asap. Thank you Lynette for your thoughtfulness. We really appreciated it and your enthusiasm was wonderful.

Excellent stay. Lighting not very good in bathroom. Othrtwise accommodation was very good.

Room With No View

Accommodation of this caliber should have at least a 50” to 55” TV not a 26” to 32” TV like my room? Most homes nowadays have at least a 55” to 65” TV. Also a couple of biscuits would have been a nice touch, as most hotels in this price bracket give you a couple of biscuits.

Very small rooms with shared vestibule and laundry with the adjacent room. Laundry is a washer and dryer in one which takes 3 hours to do one load of laundry. Hot water takes 6 minutes to arrive to the room and told “just run the tap until the water comes up” Many dust balls on ceiling above bed. Bathtub floor unstable with crack that opens with pressure. Not the friendliest of staff.

The check in staff member was very friendly and helpful. It was a very convenient location and nice facilities.

We arrived late at Oshen’s and the late check-in was flawless, went very smoothly. That night after a very long 600km drive, going to bed all you could hear was the water in the pipes right behind the bed, from people showering on the floors above, the walls must be very thin. The second night was the same, very noisy pipes, again hard to sleep. But to add to the noisy pipes, the wind was smashing our door and it sounded like people trying to beak in! Not good when you don’t know the area. Another sleepless night was enjoyed! Went to reception the next morning to notify them of the banging door issue and we were giving a piece of cardboard to wedge in the door. Next morning, shower time, as we had plans to meet people for breakfast, go to take a shower, no hot water!! Left the shower running for 25 minutes, still cold water. Rang reception and asked if there was an issue they knew about, “Just leave it running, this building is like that” Personally, we will never stay there again, I will not recommend it to anyone either. If you have a choice between the local Back Packers and Oshen’s… Book the Back Packers. I would not normally give a review this hash however the responses we got to issues were not helpful at all.

I love staying at oschen because of the very high standards

The crew at Oshen made my stay easy and hassle free. Especially as I was arriving late. Thanks crew, will be staying here again when in town

Loved our stay here, great views, staff friendly and informative, unit clean and comfortable, central to so many sights, tours and eateries. Yes the walk up the hill is steep but it is short so just take your time.

The position of the property was really good , but the little balcony and aircon making water noise all through the night thought waterfall in room

The apartment had a beautiful view of the ocean and the room was clean.

For people with mobility issues the property shower/ spa is poorly designed. There is an exercise step to get into the shower which is still a big step for anyone. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. This was one of the most expensive rooms in Yeppoon at the time and our view wasn’t great on the first floor. If you are wanting bang for your buck i would go the more expensive rooms to guarantee a really good view.

A beautiful place with wonderful views from the room and balcony, super quiet and relaxing. We stayed 4 nights in a 1 bedroom spa apartment. Staff are excellent and very welcoming but also leave you alone to enjoy your stay. We would stay there again without a doubt!

This was a beautiful property. I was desperate for coffee though and it would’ve been good to have even some freeze dried coffee in the room. That was the only thing missing and it’s a given in all other places of this standard.

Easy access to everything and property was in very good condition with excellent ocean view and close to shops and beach.

Beautiful apartment with an awesome view. I’d only warn people with mobility issues that access to the shower in bath would be almost impossible here

Wonderful stay

Gorgeous apartment. Beautiful views. Spotlessly clean with everything you could need. Secure basement parking that can fit large 4WD. No noise = super relaxing. Highly recommend 👌

Great location just slightly up the hill from the main tourist strip. We just had the studio apartment which was basic but had everything we needed for a short stopover. Pool was great.

We’ll appointed. Modern and clean. One bed apartment fantastic setup. Managers super friendly and helpful. We loved it.

Yeppoon stay

We were greeted by friendly helpful ladies and upgraded and room to get a view and balcony. Lovely and clean and comfy bed too. Can recommend.

Great room and view within easy walking distance of the town.

A really well equipped apartment. Probably one with the least attractive view but there was still an ocean view from the balcony. Yeppoon is a charming town and Oshen Apartments are well located for a stroll so long as you don’t mind a short climb up a well lit street. It is the hill that makes the views from the apartments so spectacular.

Friendly, helpful staff. Plenty of dining options close by. Quiet. Amazing views.

Only a one night stay but the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was very nice and comfortable. If you have a large car, note the car parks are very narrow and do not really accommodate larger vehicles so could be a problem if the apartments are full

The property was spotless clean and handy to everything we were doing while there.We received a text message to tell us the room was ready early.

Oshen is a beautiful apartment building with wonderful staff. The facilities are amazing and so is the view. The steepness of the road is not for the fainthearted.

The view was amazing. The apartment was just so lovely and clean. On arrival they had a beautiful lamp on and some calming music. It’s those little things that count. So inviting.

I like the location. But the room we were at was too small and had unpleasant smell most probably from the previous occupant. I was not totally aware about the room location and size of the room when I booked. I taught it was in a good location and with decent size room. But it was studio type which I did not know about it.

Fantastic views of the ocean and islands!

We loved Yeppoon! We stayed in a very comfortable and clean 1 bedroom unit on the 2nd floor. The ocean view was fabulous because Oshen is on a high hill. The beach & township is at the bottom of the steep hill which could be a problem for people with mobility issues unless driving, but we enjoyed the exercise and the view was definitely worth it! The staff were very friendly and helpful and we very much enjoyed our stay.

It was a nice property. In hindsight I would have booked a different room, as the studio rooms are tiny, but it was only an overnight stay, so not too fussed about that. I’d stay there again, but I’d book a different room.

Fantastic views. I didn't have a car so had to rely on taxis because the hill was so steep & I have problems with my knees.

Great place to stay with excellent views of the bay or ocean depending on which room tou have. We were fortunate to have stayed in both.

I didn’t like the bathroom, one of these where you have step up into the spa/ bath and it was very high ! I’ve bruised my leg in doing so ! And there was long strands of black hair in the bathroom on our arrival !

I felt like we were in a military style run facility. with notices every where don't do this don't do that etc.. I didn't get the holiday feeling. which was a let down considering what great ocean views the apt had. Luckily this stay was in the middle of our holiday in Queensland so we were able get the holiday happiness back from the other hotels.

Stay too short

Beautiful units with a fantastic view. Just a shame our stay was so short.

We had one of the garden rooms. Has everything you need however very small. Also found rubbish under the bed which wasn’t ideal. I’m sure the rooms with ocean views were great

We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment and I’m sure we had the best view Yeppoon has to offer.

Spectacular views from the balcony and great spot to watch the sunrise and sunset.

Relaxing stay

Very comfortable apartment stay. Undercover parking with lift. Amazing view of ocean from our apartment. Bed very comfortable. Nice swim in pool.

The view was great. Admin were friendly. Room was clean and spacious. If you walked to the street or beach the hill to get home was a killer

Had a great 3 nights at Oshen, lovely, clean, quiet apartment with ocean views. Walk to town was fine, the hill on ocean side not that bad. Would definately stay again.

Excellent will be going back. Staff where lovely and had great recommendations for the area also.

Great option in Yeppoon! Very good location even with the hill everyone seems to complain about. Literally a 3 min walk to the centre. The views from many rooms are killer! I stayed in 13. A spacious 1 bedroom. The staff were so hospitable and that added so much to the stay. The wifi isnt great and those expecting a resort pool, dont! Loved it.

Air conditioners in both bedrooms very noise. Hard to sleep

Studio VERY small

We stayed in a studio and was told it was small. However, we think that what we we paid for such a small room was overpriced. It had a king sized bed but there was only just enough room to walk around the bed, and there was no access to the bathroom with the ironing board up as it was in the way. Fortunately we were only staying one night.

Will definitely be back

Our room was one of the front ones overlooking the ocean and islands. The room was terrific: very modern and comfortable. And that view!! Oshen even offered free in-house coffees that, if you use your own milk, were a delightful way to start the day. We worked around the steep approach to the hotel and - lets face it - Oshen's location makes it so there's no traffic noise, almost no passing traffic and helps capture the best Yeppoon views. Icing on the cake: the couple of brown hawks that did regular circuits just out from our balcony and other birdlife doing fly-pasts. Can't wait to stay again.

We liked the sound of the rain in the atrium which is open to the sky.
