Very Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend This hotel was by far the worst of the five we stayed at during our time in Bali. We booked a deluxe pool room, but instead of a nice pool view, we were stuck looking at an unused, dirty pool. While they did have another pool that was in better condition, it felt frustrating to have been placed in a room overlooking such an unappealing sight. There were multiple issues throughout our stay. Our check-in was delayed by 30 minutes, and the room quality was very basic, with a run-down bathroom that was far from acceptable. For a hotel with high reviews, the poor room and bathroom conditions were shocking. The service was equally disappointing. We ordered food and drinks, but the drinks were forgotten, and when I raised this, there was no follow-up. The assistant initially offered to waive our lunch bill as an apology for the issues, but later changed it to drinks only. At checkout, I was surprised to see that I was still being charged for the drinks, and it took them another 5 minutes to sort it out after I questioned the bill. To add to the confusion, I was told one price for a taxi to the airport, but when we checked out, the hotel charged me a lower price. I questioned this, and they insisted it was correct. However, during the ride to the airport, the driver received a phone call saying we had underpaid. This was very frustrating, especially since the confusion was entirely on the hotel's end. Overall, the service was poor

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Our experience at this place was terrible. Dont be fooled by the nice pool. The rooms are a not a nice and pleasant place to sleep at all. First of all they are not well maintained, full of humidity and insects everywhere, you can tell they haven't had a proper maintenance since they where build. But the worst thing was that the room was not properly cleaned and sanitized. In the shower there are some small pebbles placed on the floor that are full of hairs and dust, honestly disgusting. But the worst thing for us was that the WC is inside the shower!!! they dont show this on the pictures, you think you are paying for hotel accommodation but this is like hostel for a 20 year old. There is no direct line to call to reception, you just need to WhatsApp them which they never reply. I am still waiting for the manager to reply hahah its incredible, in any hotel if a guest complains the manager is the first one to come to try to solve the situation. The staff is not nice AT ALL, there was always a NO coming out as a reply (we had got used to Bali where people are extremely nice). We had payed for 5 nights and we stayed only one, we ended up leaving the next day. And again, nobody even tried to apologize or cared at all that we were not having a good experience. It would be an understatement to say I dont recommend anyone this place to stay.

We had a beautiful stay at the Origin Lombok. The pool area was stunning and felt Tranquil and idilyic. There were great food options and was to a high standard. The staff were extremely helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is a 10minute drive to the main town, the reception team were on hand to order us taxi’s. Would reccomend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Lombok.

The hotel is in a really quiet location surrounded by Indonesian jungle together with wildlife. The gardens were amazing. The Indonesian food was great, but the western food needs work. Breakfast was OK, but could also do with improving. The only real issue we had was with the bathroom sewage system, throughout the day sewage smells would seap from the drains and toilets. Other than that, the place is great and would stay again if we came back to Lombok.

Nice room, good environment , good service.

Origin is comfortable and Cosy place and has good facilities . Just wish the hygiene level could be improved with issues of flies and mosquitoes and general cleaning of rooms. Especially during breakfast the food and dining area was swarmed with flies.

Great stay and promising hotel

The room was very good and comfortable. Easy for us to fall asleep after a long day. Had a small problem with the toilet as there was an unusual smell everytime after flushing. But hotel managed to give us a bottle of air freshener to spray after using the toilet so it's fine. Should be a one off thing. The plastic electric kettle should be replaced to a metal one as it sheds white substances everytime we boiled it. Food was great! Unlucky for us, it was also the rainy season so we had a difficult time enjoying it with the countless number of flies around. It's not just in Origin but the whole of lombok. Staff there was great nonetheless with their service 👍 easy to communicate through whatsapp as well.

Everything was great... my only issue was room service stopped at 10:30. Flights arrive at 21:30 and it’s an issue if you can’t eat after a long journey. Otherwise perfect

Wow what an amazing hotel, highly recommended. The rooms are large with a awesome hot shower, the beds are king size and extremely comfortable. The deluxe pool room is the best option as you can sit out start to the pool. There are two different pools to choose from. The food is reasonable priced and tastes good. Even though it is 3kms from Kuta Beach it is still worth staying as the hotel has a shuttle service every 2 hours starting at 10am through to 4pm. We hired a scooter from reception which costs 70000 IDR ($7.00) for 24 hours. The staff are so friendly. Very quiet place so if you want to party this hotel isn’t for you. Will definitely book again in the future.

Disappointed, Shocked.

Room was OK but dilapidated. Got a bad electrical shock from plugging kettle in, someone with a heart condition would not of survived... No SafetyCut on breaker box! manager came to inspect, plugged the kettle in and said maybe i had wet hands, then advised i could now use the kettle. No thank you!... said he would tell his boss... this is not a sensible response. Breakfast was not so good. Staff need training, better management. Restaurant understaffed. Weekend was very busy 1 server taking care of 30 guests is not right. Fresh juice was tasteless %20 juice %80 water. Most guest looked quite upset /disappointed some looked furious... unfortunately it's not the staffs fault rather management/owners. I would not recommend this hotel. Location is remote. 10 minute scooter ride from beach. Staff are very pleasant and try to be helpful but need proper training. I will not return

Pros: Compliment shuttle to Kuta but until afternoon only, friendly staff, tuck away from city. Cons: You need transport to go everywhere, dirty bed sheet but changed upon requested, room seem lack of maintenance, pool bit dirty

Time for a change.

The service and staff was great! really lovely people and all.. BUT the owners would need to invest of changing the bath towel to the bed linens. The bath towel not that it's not clean, it's just black and old.. I don't feel comfortable using it. Bed Linens as well, really old.. in fact their pool towel seems to be cleaner than the bathroom towels, i guess there's a reason why so many hotels those towels are white. It is to give the customer a sense of assurance on cleanliness right?

They could do more on maintenance and cleaning

The hotel is new, but it is already showing the signs of ware, specially in the cleaning of the room, towels and bedsheets were stained, we actually asked them to change the bedsheets after the first night because they were discusting, I never asked for this for sustainability reasons, but I didn’t want to place my face anymore in those sheets. The sofa was also discusting, too stained to even put my dirty laundry on it. The toilet also smelled quite strong, specially during the evening. The service and food were not the best either, although they were ok. I felt they overpriced things like their tours and laundry. The pool was great. Overall, a little bit to overpiced for the maintenance they are giving to their hotel.

Paradise on earth

We had an amazing stay at Origin Lombok. The place is exactly like it is in the pictures and is generally paradise on Earth. The customer service was also amazing - we got delayed coming to Lombok due to the volcano in Bali closing the airports nearby. Origin showed great flexibility and understanding about our situation and were able to make it work for us. I would also say that the yoga teachers associated with Origin were some of the best we have encountered

Would stay again

We loved Kuta and this seems overall one of the best places for the price. The food, specially breakfast, is not worth it but the pool makes up for it all.

Nice place

We stayed 2 nights here staff were excellent swimming pool great breakfast good the only thing I didn’t like was when we arrived they asked to take a photocopy of our credit card or give a 500thousand rupee deposit which is ok if you have the money with you I think this practice is unexceptable also the food was overpriced and average

Beautiful Hotel in South Lombok

This hotel is amazing, from the pool to the rooms to the staff. It was a great base to explore Kuta and the surrounds of South Lombok- definitely hire a scooter. Only 5 minutes from Kuta town and it's nice to be hidden away a little bit. The hotel does awesome happy hour deals and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you're travelling to Lombok. Thanks to the awesome staff for a wonderful week.

Perfect hotel to relax and enjoy South Lombok

We stayed at Origin Lombok for two night as a last stop on our month long trip around Bali and Lombok. The hotel was perfect, just what we needed to relax a little but before heading back home. The room was very nice with a lovely terrace and a pool access. The staff is super nice and helpful. Their restaurant is also very good, we really liked the food, just don't order a pizza as it is a disgrace to its name. We would definitely stay here again.

Average, 4 star experience at best

Pretty average experience. For a 5 star hotel the bathroom is in really bad shape and out of date. Fridge was old and rusty, and there are lots of repairs/updates needed to bring it up to standard. The grounds are ok, beach is average. For the price there are much better modern places with a much nicer feel to them, won't be coming back.

This hotel has opened. Far too early Still building. And many things not working properly. They call it soft opening. ? Please tell us what's wrong. For $80 per night. Really. Very poor management concept. How could I recommend. ? I would be embarrassed. !

He location is too bad but if you have car.

The hotel seems for a long time not fix and tidy it. Breakfast is ok. But the sofa is too queasiness that i even not want to sat there. Also, the location is too far away with kuta. I can not find out taxi or gojet. Only asking for hotel help. The hotel called a taxi, it is too expensive than blue bird or gojet. I do not have a choice to accept it. It is the place i would never recommend and visit again.

Außen ist es wie am Bild WUNDERSCHÖN aber das Zimmer war nicht wie erwartet(Renovierung NÖTIG)das Essen war super die Getränke top aber das Personal könnte besser sein(zu langsam nicht organisiert besonders zum Frühstück nicht ausreichend Plätze für die Gäste die Wartezeit für einen Cappuccino beträgt länger als der eigentliche Frühstück )einige darunter waren wirklich sehr BEMÜHT(weiß ich leider die Namen nicht)für die Preis-Leistung ist im Großen und Ganzen OK

+ After a not so pleasant car drive from the harbor in the north of Lombok we arrived at Origin Lombok hotel in the evening. We were greeted with genuine smiles and a hospitality that was above our expectations. The staff always had a smile on their faces which made us feel safe and welcome. When we called in the middle of the night to get help with a spider we got immediate help and when thanking them later their response was “no worries,haha we love our job!” .. I have nothing bad to say about the staff, only a big thanks for making our stay in Lombok the best possible. - In the end of our stay the hotel got more crowded with guests. This resulted in some misunderstandings when ordering breakfast but nothing too bothering. Im sure the staff will handle it perfectly egen getting more experienced.

Vi valde ett 4-stjärnigt hotell i utkanten av kuta då vi ville ha en nyår utan raketer. Standarden på hotellet lever verkligen inte upp till ett 4-stjärningt hotell. Personalen var trevlig, men det var allt. På nyår hade dom inget speciellt att erbjuda. Vi hade tänkt att äta fin middag på hotellets restaurang och kanske ta några drinkar i baren efteråt för att skåla in tolvslaget. Resturangens mat var inte bra. Dom stängde baren till och med tidigare den kvällen, trots att dom sagt att den skulle vara öppen till 23.00. Så stängde dom runt 22 tiden. Vad det gäller rummet är sängarna stenhårda, toaletten kunde knappt spola. Och handdukarna var gråaktika. Vi hade hoppats på lite lyx, men det blev bara en besvikelse.. Dom håller helt enkelt inte måttet för att vara 4*

Fomos roubados neste hotel!!!!

Não hospede-se neste hotel! Durante nossa estada, fomos roubados neste Hotel. Alguém que tinha as chaves do quarto roubou todo o nosso dinheiro enquanto estávamos fora. Esse foi com toda certeza a pior e mais decepcionante experiencia q ja tivemos, pois estar em uma ilha longe de casa e ser roubado ficando sem nenhum centavo é a pior coisa q existe, sem contar as moscas nos locais de refeicao , insuportavel. Roupas de cama e toalhas dos banheiros provavelmente nao eram lavados pelo pouco q vimos, pois depois do nosso roubo saimos de la imediatamente. Este fato nos causou muitos Inconvenientes no restante da viagem. Registramos tudo na polícia local e junto ao hotel mas nada foi resolvido. Não hospede-se neste hotel!

Lekker resort

Mooi resort. Villa aan zwembad is heerlijk. Je loopt zo naar je bedje aan het zwembad. Villa lekker ruim met goede airco, lekkere inloopdouche. Tv wat aan de kleine kant, gezien de kamer. Laundry service en huur scooter is een pluspunt!

Bra hotell på lombok

Ett jättebra boende på Lombok. Ligger lite utanför så man måste hyra moppe för att ta sig omkring. Städningen var aningen dålig, exempelvis tog de inte bort färdigdruckna ölflaskor eller tömde sopkorgen utan det enda de gjorde var att bädda sängen och byta handdukar. Men i övrigt fräscht och bra hotell.

바다나 시내와는 거리가 좀 있습니다. 무료셔틀이 하루에 4번 있긴 하지만, 충분치는 않아요. 호텔에 얘기하면 택시를 불러주기는 하지만, 현지 가격에 비하면 조금 비싼 편입니다. 가능하다면, 오토바이나 차를 렌트해서 움직이는 것이 추천합니다. 호텔 주변에는 아무 것도 없다고 보시는 것이 좋습니다. 대신 조용하고, 밤에는 별도 많이 보이구요. 평화로운 휴식을 원하는 분들께 추천합니다. 호텔 조식은 그저 그렇습니다. 레스토랑 음식은 훌륭한 편입니다. 직원들도 친절하구요. 가성비 좋은 호텔입니다.
