Great and convinient
One of the genuinely pleasant stays I have had through years of extensive travels across the world both for work and leisure. The room was immaculately clean and had perhaps one of the most comfortable ambience I have experienced in a hotel. As much as I enjoyed Madrid, I also didn’t hesitate to stay in whenever I could. It was a good respite from the August heat and had a home-like feel, thanks to the modern design that pays homage to Madrid’s own architectural heritage and the building’s own character and history. While the quality of the breakfast could be improved flavour-wise, it was decent enough and more affordable than comparable joints in the area. That said, the hotel is perfectly and centrally located, within a few blocks from Calle Serrano in Salamanca on one side and Las Salesas and Chueca on the other. It’s wedged between vibrant areas of excellent dining, shopping and coffee options. Yet, the hotel area itself is serene, clean and practically crowd-free. There is access to several metro lines as there are three metro stations within easy walking distance. If you’re thinking of taking the metro to/from the airport, the hotel can be accessed by transferring at Nuevos Ministerios from where the hotel is a stop or two away on another metro line. Lastly, the stay would not have been as pleasant without the magnificent service offered by its staff, all of whom were perpetually professional, warm and helpful.
Incredibly Convenient & Comfortable Boutique Hotel
It is an incredibly comfortable boutique hotel for a stay in Madrid. The location is fantastic, very clean area and close to excellent dining and shopping options. The team is very kind and hospitable. I found the room larger than expected with everything I needed. Great value, I would recommend and stay again.
Nice hotel nice location
Ice hotel room could do with paint touch up staff were great
Great location.
Precio calidad buena alternativa
Centric location on a very quiet street. Fairly priced. D
Disappointing Fortune
Overall the hotel was average, wasn’t very clean including used coke cans in the mini bar and room smaller and dated then the pictures. For close to 600€ for two nights I would have expected a real 4 star, this was 3 at best. The staff were very friendly however but didn’t make up for the state of the room, old and ragged is what I would describe it. I checked out a day early with no credit after staying for less than 20 hours. Look elsewhere not so great.
Stay
Great location, comfortable, clean and quiet.

Bathrooms need update. Showers are pretty old and I had problem with hot water.
The hotel/amenities look as pictured, it was comfortable. The neighborhood really is super quiet. Their restaurant is fantastic.
property well located close to salamanca neighbourhood.
Great hotel in unbeatable location
Stylish hotel...BUT beware of some of the rooms!
Really pretty stylish sexy hotel BUT beware of the pokey standard rooms. They are so small that one switch of the AC means you’ll be blown on all night (which causes dry mouth and dehydration even on the lightest timed setting). Also the hotel appears to have a problem with hot water regulation. You can go from a Luke warm shower to a boiling kettle temperature without notice. It seems like the higher floor you are going on the worse it is. To be fair they acknowledged the issue and rectified it after bringing it up.
The hotel was in a great location, however breakfast was very disappointing, lovely staff and lovely decor, but there is no buffet and you order off a very limited plastic menu with small portions. It would also be great to have some coffee making facilities in the room. Also we were very surprised that there was no bar at the hotel.
Really nice little hotel with good design, great location out of the busy areas but close enough to walk to, and great breakfast (if you want breakfast, get it here—options are relatively slim in Madrid). The restaurant staff were wonderful.
Other than the fact that we were given twin beds and the hair dryer wasn’t working, it was a LOVELY hotel, right in the place where you want to be in Madrid. Staff was very nice and they serve the best croissants I’ve had in my life.
Hotel was fine and a decent option but the room was oddly laid out and cramped and the room condition was so-so (shower knob fell off in our hand and a lot of chips in paint and tile). A more upscale, residential area so not the best for tourists.
Need more table space in bathroom and bedroom . Ended up with storing wash bags on floor, needed a suitcase ‘holder’ to avoid putting on bed
No complains; very well located, big room, beautiful decoration, great breakfasts and very kind staff; I’ll definitely go back
Not worth the price
The hotel is very nice and clean with very friendly staff, the location is excellent situated in a quiet area close to the fashion shops and restaurants, walking distance to metro and museums, will definitely return.
Great hotel in an awesome location with superb customer service.
The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel's location is convenient, near the city centre.
Great value in the best neighborhood
Great location, beautiful building, spacious room and nice decoration. Great value for this neighborhood which is one of the best in the city. As an only downside, our room on the first floor got very little natural light during the day.
Great find, great location, quiet street
Lovely hotel in a safe part of madrid
The hotel was in the business district of Madrid so the surroundings were very secure and quiet. About a 20/25 minute walk to the centre. The hotel itself was lovely. Very clean and modern. The rooms were a good size and very comfortable. Only downfall was that the walls were very thin and could hear a lot of movement within the hotel, doors were very heavy and banged loudly every time they were shut. There were also no coffee/tea facilities in the room which would have been nice for in the mornings. The walls could have also done with being repainted as there were a few marks/scruffs but other than these few small things, the hotel was lovely and we had a really nice stay.
Hotel was nice but pricey
Stayed for a week. The place is still relatively new, in a quieter part of the neighborhood but still close to things. Service was good, didn’t encounter the coldness that some reviews referenced. However rooms were tiny. Paid for a ‘city view’ room which meant it overlooked another building. Only a fridge - no coffee maker, or any other amenities. Gym was okay with some free weights (barbell), cardio but not much dumbbells. Wifi was fantastic.
Great bathroom
Great shower.
Great location, clean building and rooms. Disappointed by the small room. Should have asked for a queen after noticing they gave me two doubles. Shower in a separate room from sink and toilet. Worst of all, there was no front desk attendant to see in the morning on checkout- there was no sign on the desk saying he/she would be right back. I had issues to bring up and ultimately was unable to do so upon checking out.
Excellent stay
Excellent small hotel in great location in Madrid
Tranquíle Stay
Good location, nice little hotel, but is not a 4 star hotel.
Great location! Rooms are bit small but very modern
Great location and great staff! Extended my stay! Super cute and modern! Very clean and the restaurant in the building also great!
We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Madrid. Modern and clean room with very comfortable bed. The location is in a posh area of Madrid, away from crowded city centre but close enough to walk or catch public transport.
Great location. Extremely comfortable and clean rooms. Very helpful staff. I’ll be staying there again!
The hotel was lovely, right smack in the middle of Madrid. Walking distance to everywhere ( if it’s not raining). Staff very friendly and helpful. A little short on hooks to hang up coats etc. It’s our hotel from now on in Madrid
Quiet area, but close to bars and restaurants. I liked the breakfast and boutique feel to the hotel.
Great hotel location. Close to the center, but the hotel is located on a quiet street. Friendly staff
Great Neighborhood within walking distance of the city centre
Big minus for the view (no view at all). When we entered the room I was really satisfied. The room was small but nice, cozy and clean. When I tried to open the window I was more than surprised! On less than 2m distance, there was a wall of some other building with windows on the side, meaning you can not open your window unless you want to share your privacy with the neighbors. I do not expect that from a 4-star hotel, and above all the reception team did not mention it! This is not the way clients should be treated. I can totally understand that you can not have all the rooms with nice view but at least you should mention it at reception. As I'm a bit claustrofobic I was not feeling very well in the room. It's a shame because, except that, everything was good.
Excellent location. Excellent staff! Beautiful hotel, super clean room. I will definitely stay there on my future trip. Overall I loved it.
Well appointed, very clean rooms. Extremely comfortable beds.
Very pleasing modern decor. Bed was comfortable. linens were crisp. Would have liked a choice of pillows as they were very thick, really good for sitting up and reading in bed. They may have choices available, but we only stayed the one night to catch a flight out of Madrid. The bathroom was well laid out and the shower was good. The restaurant on premises appears to be separately owned and operated. Unfortunately their hours did not mesh with our schedule. The area is lovely. A walk around the area did not yield many restaurants, it appears to be more residential. Not too far from the museums. We were on a limited time frame so took taxis.
This is not a 4 star hotel. It can portrait itself as a 4 start but it lacks the elements needed starting with staff that is not properly trained and a restaurant run by people who think they are at home
From the moment you arrive the entrance is lovely in a quiet street yet really good location. The front desk is really nice with super friendly staff! The restaurant has a cool vibe and tasty yet healthy food. Rooms are well sized and have a modern design, super clean and nice bathroom and showers. My only complaint would be the pillows but overall I widely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again!
The location is very good. Fortuny is walking distance to a metro station; but also a reasonable walk into the centre of Madrid. The hotel is very clean and well maintained and quiet. The staff speak excellent english and are very helpful. I would stay at the Fortuny again next time I am in Madrid.
Perfect location, friendly people and excellent service. The hotel is located at central Madrid, 20 mins walking to most of the landmarks and tourist attraction but free of disturbs. The nearest metro station is just 5 mins walking away. The hotel is surround by restaurants, shops and traditional market. People are really nice and helpful.Room is spacious, clean with contemporary design.
They have the best breakfast in town. Nice staff also!
A very new and quiet hotel. It has an internal patio, very relaxing. Food was good too. Walkable along boulevards was great.
Very elegant, new property with charm and style. Fruendly staff and very quiet yet central location.
Great Hotel....
Great Hotel and beautiful rooms. The only thing that they need to improve is WI-FI service.
Great service and very helpful staff! Location is also great
The property was very modern and clean. It is located in a very quiet and safe area.
Great stay
Great place to enjoy a beautiful city - fabulous service, nothing was too much trouble. Casual but friendly approach from all the team there - really personable.
Great restaurant and gym. I was looking forward to the daily breakfast!
My husband and I loved our stay!! The staff was welcoming and the room was new, modern and clean. The onsite restaurant, Olivia Fortuny was also wonderful. I had one of the best desserts ever! (different textures of apple). We would definitely stay here again!
The hotel was new, crisp clean, modern, arty and very cool. There was great attention to detail and high quality fittings and linens. A great location in a very nice part of town. I would have loved a kettle in the room but that is a minor detail.
Great option in Madrid, good value and close to everything
Good quality and affordable hotel
Good affordable hotel. Not in the main centre, but not far away either. Was located perfectly for our business trip. The rooms were bright and modern, I really liked the design. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Didn't interact much with staff, but the little I did was good. Would definitely stay here again for business and could easily stay here again for pleasure as well.
Good location, clean, very comfortable beds, helpful knowledgeable staff. Lack of leisure facilities and bar a drawback.
Great for a quiet weekend break
Very friendly welcome and introduction to the hotel's facilities, all in excellent English. The room was very nicely decorated, with a few quirky touches of character, and the heating was turned on in advance to ward off the cold January air. Very comfy bed, with nice crisp sheets, lovely bathroom with large and powerful shower. Nice quiet neighbourhood, surrounded by embassies, but with some great places to get breakfast, a beer & tapas or fine food (Kira Kira sushi restaurant, 5 mins walk, was amazing). Handy for the metro, especially if travelling in from the airport, and easy access to the city centre. Alternatively, a brisk 20 minute walk gets you into the city centre for those who want a bit more fresh air - also a reasonable walk back from the Santiago Bernabeu for those wanting to catch a game - Hala Madrid!!
The hotel is a beautifully appointed one with a fantastic restaurant cafe downstairs. A new addition to the One Shot hotel group, this hotel is a perfect choice is you're looking for a quiet night's rest but still in close proximity to the bustling city centre or the posh Salamanca residential neighbourhood.
Frontier of Boutique 4-star hotels
One Shot Fortuny set the standard for boutique four-star hotels. The interior design is clean, beautiful, and practical. Loved the enormous and comfortable bed as well as the artsy bathroom! 10/10 would come again and recommend to all my friends!
Outstanding Front Desk Service.
Outstanding customer service ever. This Hotel made me feel like i was home. The standard room was always very very clean, roomy enough, bed very comfortable. Quiet, very safe, and good location. You are close to everything. 12 min walk to Sol, Gran Vía. 1 min to Castellana, 7 min to Serrano Street. 4min walk to metro Colon, Alonso Martínez. The front desk staff very professionals, nice, really kind people. Victor, Raluka, Sandra, and Yaisa were always willing to help in everything.. im coming back soon to Madrid, and I will be staying in this Hotel again without hesitation. (I stayed about 8 days)
Modern Designer Boutique style hotel in central Madrid. Hotel is well styled with a mix of old and new.The room was large with a large comfortable bed and plenty of pillow choices! It was also very quiet, perfect if you need to get some rest. The bathroom was of a good size with a very large walk in rainfall shower which was very nice. Breakfast was not your usual buffet it was table service with a good choice of options, service was quick and friendly, however as this is table service expect breakfast to take a little longer, in case you are in a rush. Location is excellent for a number of local offices as well as the shopping area just a 5 minute walk away.
Pleasant stay in new, modern hotel
Brand new hotel with comfortable room, great cleaning everyday and friendly and helpful front desk staff. The restaurant food is great and affordable. Lightning fast wifi.
Stylish hotel in calm location
I had an absolutely delightful stay at One Shot Fortuny. Staff were polite and helpful but not intrusive and the hotel has been styled to a very high standard - modern, yet elegant. I particularly liked the location - the area is very quiet, especially on the weekend, but you are very well positioned for accessing all the popular areas in Madrid (Alonso Martinez metro about 5 minutes walk away). It is an affluent area, with several embassies and government buildings close by. Due to this there are security staff stationed at various points along the streets, which meant that i felt very safe walking alone at night. There are some very nice places to eat near the hotel, but for breakfast i would highly recommend people choose to eat in the hotel - by far the best hotel breakfast i have ever had. Options include various pastries, artisan breads, organic yogurts, and modern brunch classics with a healthy twist. The room itself was very spacious, with a comfortable bed and excellent black out blinds for those wanting a lie in after late night! I did not use the gym but it looked like it had a good selection of machines. As i arrived a little early my room wasn't quite ready so i waited in the little internal courtyard which is a lovely spot for reading/having a coffee. Staff held my bags for me on arrival and at checkout, which is always appreciated. I would definitely stay here again.
Madrid in moderate style
Good experience here. The hotel is very cute. Modern and boutique like. Would be good if they supplied ketttle, coffee and tea. Very quiet. The staff are lovely.
Central, cool designs, great price.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable, if slightly small, rooms, with excellent wifi and good shower-room (no bath). Design features that blend ultra-modern with traditional Spanish that are quite intriguing. Superb location close to Plaza Colon surrounded by many good bars and restaurants. Superb value for central Madrid. Overall a wonderful stay - I will be back.
Great hotel
Excellent hotel
Excellent staff and perfect cleanliness. The only problem is there was no kitchenette.
Excellent hotel
The service was amazing and very helpful. I really enjoyed the design of room and the confort of the bed. Plus the hotel is located in a quite area.
It was a good experience
Amazing hotel, very new (only open for 1.5 months) and you can see that, very well located and great value. Does not offer breakfast but there is a nice place 1min away.
Great comfortable hotel in a very nice area. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and modern and our room had a nice big bed
Great hotel, still under construction, but fully operational. Worth the price!
Great work-in-progress but we happened to be guests in the first week of it's opening. No hot water one morning and no water at all on another day during a 3 night stay. Some construction work, noise and masonry foot-prints scared the otherwise lovely, modern artistic decor.
Excellent location with lots of fine restaurants and cafes to enjoy. Kind staff. Nevertheless the hotel is not well maintained. We got a room with a permanent water pipe noise. Floors and walls pretty worn out and not so clean. The location saves the overall experience

Location good
Gutes Hotel, gute Lage. Einrichtung jedoch veraltet.
Good hotel. Very quiet.
Very nice hotel. Very quiet location. The only negative is 10 minutes away from metro. Improvement: I always prefer a buffet breakfast instead of ordering items fro a menu.
Pipes smelled bad, room very noisy.
