Riverwalk

The Omni on the San Antonio River walk is a great place to stay. Close to everything around the river. Great staff and courtyards.

Simply splendid!

Our stat was incredible! We could not have asked for a better location! It was within a short walking distance to everything we wanted from the restaurants on the Riverwalk to the Alamo to the mall and to our favorite bakery - La Panadería. We are so glad we got a balcony room overlooking the Riverwalk. It was so nice! And the rooms were nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Really nice walk-in tiled shower. We loved everything!

We wanted to be on the riverwalk and with access to a pool. The property did not disappoint. The rooms were standard and clean. A bit on the dark side but it suits the building. The pool is not overly big but it was enough and we were always able to find a lounger or chair. Staff were really friendly

Perfect location, right on the River Walk and close to the sites and nice spots to eat. Views over the water are great. Rooms are modern and well designed.

Okay vacay

Pretty basic hotel room. Kinda pricey based on what we got. Shared balcony was a surprise. Nice view and close to Riverwalk.

Perfect location…right on the Riverwalk! Older historic building that could definitely use some updating renovation. Felt like the hotel was constantly “nickel and diming” us. There was an upcharge for just about everything. Price was high for quality of the hotel but definitely not for the location on the Riverwalk!

Love the Omni brand, but...

Our room was visibly dusty (I have allergies, so I noticed). The bathroom floor was not clean either. The employees are really nice! All of them were prompt, nice and did a great job!

Old world charm

Really enjoyed our stay at the Omni La Mansion! It had a lovely old world flavor to it and the rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable! We did not select a river walk balcony view, but we enjoyed it all the same. The staff were very warm and hospitable.

Our Favorite go to place. Worth every penny for the quality! Only wish they has a little store for snacks and a few little things.

It was located in a great area of the riverwalk

Property was great for walking everywhere. We didn’t rent a car and had no trouble getting around. Lots of food, shopping, and steering options. Rooms and staff fantastic!

we spent our 40th anaversary there and had a wonderful time , we will go back to the Omni! their sister property across the Selena Bridge over the river offered unforgetable Sea food Dining..six stars for the Orsta 6 Stars.the river walk is right at the Hotels steps..and conveniant walking to museum's, the Alamo ! we parked once and walked everywhere we hoped to go Omni was a perfect place stay.

Balcony with a view to the River Walk

It was magical and fantastic it was worth every penny we had a great stay especially the hospitality and treatment of the staff I would recommend this hotel the river walk was a extra bonus and the hotel is so beautiful

The hotel was right on the river walk and we had easy access to walk right onto the river walk and explore. It was extremely convenient and the hotel was also nice, and we had a nice view from our balcony

Such a perfect location. We had a river view room, which we thoroughly enjoyed. My husband and son enjoyed the heated pool even though it was 60 degrees outside. We walked right on to the Riverwalk from our hotel, and the boat tours were literally right across the bridge. The Iron Cactus restaurant across the bridge is delicious. If we came to San Antonio again, we would stay at the Omni!

Great location. Breakfast staff in bar were incredibly slow- 15 minutes to get a drip coffee!

Valentines weekend trip

We had an amazing stay. Hotel was very well appointed and the staff was amazing and very helpful. We will definitely be back.

Omni hotel on the river walk San Antonio

Very nice hotel, beautiful setting and decorations in a western/spanish style. Perfect location on the river walk. Quiet rooms. Restaurant on site. Very convenient!

The room was up to date and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the fire pits by the pool. Great atmosphere!

It was a relaxing beautiful stay. The view of the riverwalk was amazing. They allowed me to enter the room a little bit early. Those who work there were professional and friendly. I would stay there again.

The property is very nice. The staff was pleasant and helpful. It is very conveniently located. Our room on the main street however was very noisy during the late night hours when the bars emptied and the early morning hours during garbage pick up. The restaurant food was disappointing and not worth the price.

We loved staying at Omni La Mansion del Rio so much! Having a room overlooking the riverwalk was so much fun & convenient. The rooms were clean & the staff was wonderful. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to San Antonio.

Check in personnel were super helpful and professional. The valet personnel were top notch. Was disappointed balcony shared with other rooms. Chairs on balcony were uncomfortable and a small table would be nice.

The option to text the front desk with anything you need is awesome. While we were out, I sent a message we needed a few extra towels and when we returned they were there on the bed.

Ordered room service food was discolored and smelled bad. I called for a replacement meal which was a Caesar salad. It came with a soggy label mixed in the salad bowl! Yuck, never again.

Great location for a show at The Majestic, and directly next to the river.

My birthday weekend and as always it was awesome experience

The location was perfect. A lot of the amenities were down. The fireplace by the pool wasn’t turned on and the staff cleaning the rooms didn’t fill any of my shampoo/body soap. The elevator was also very old and didn’t work half of the time. Other than that. Not bad of a stay.

I really enjoyed my stay. The property was clean, the staff was extremely efficient and friendly, and our room w a river view was amazing. The property itself is a little dim and dated but that was to be expected for a historical property.

It was nice

Doors to the riverwalk overlook are not sealed well. My visit was in the winter so I had to really crank the heat up. The hotel could save money bey sealing all of the balcany and any other doors leading outside.

Omni La Mansion

It was a one night stay so we could go to an event at the Tobin Center. The hotel is wonderful. The only negative was the cost of overnight valet parking. I think $55 per night, and then having to tip every time we returned our vehicle on top of this, was a bit much but we had no choice.

Beautiful hotel/room. Easy check in, easy checkout.

Nice hotel in old traditional building, on the riverwalk at the happening area, walking distance to attractions, restaurants, centrally located, nice breakfast area, pool. Parking garage across the street, easy to park. The room was spacious; would recommend a river view room with a private balcony.

The staff was great and the location was very convenient but the elevators were old and need maintenance, the common areas were small and outdated.

The hotel and staff are fantastic the river walk is great There is only a parking garage across the street and valet for parking no breakfast available. If your balcony is on the first floor people on the river walk will interact with you they pressure wash the walk very early aside from the river the area around the hotel is not very nice but it is a good central location

Get a river view terrace room, so beautiful.

We stayed here for our Anniversary trip. The staff were all amazing!! We felt like we were at a 5 star resort with how helpful everyone was. Valet was a little pricey, but our car was safe and well cared for and they always brought it right away when we needed it. Wonderful hotel with convenient access to the River walk!!! We loved our stay and highly recommend this hotel when on the River walk. You won’t regret it! And if you encounter an issue, they are right on it to fix anything needed. The church bells next door that rang in the late morning to early evening were so beautiful to listen to.
