We will be back!! It's wonderful!
Everything was good. Very clean, charming, comfortable sitting spaces through indoor and outdoor property. Helpful staff. It really was perfect.
Great Stay!
Check in instructions were very clear. House was clean. Breakfast was delicious. Everything went as planned!
The property was beautiful and great furnishings. Breakfast was simple but very good beds, linens, towels and accessibility was fantastic and the neighborhood is beautiful at Mission Vista historic district . Street parking is easy and practical. The property is truly 12 minutes away from downtown . Great food options in this lovely neighborhood filled with old mansion type homes. Church is also close by and the freeway is a couple minutes away by car . Really enjoyed our stay
All the Basics Done Right
This place wasn’t fancy or special but we had a great stay because they got all the basics right. Automated check-in and coded entry to room and main house was a breeze. We stayed in Clare Cottage at the back of the property. Appreciated the extra portable electric heater that we used instead of the wall mounted unit at night: it kept us warm and was nice and quiet. Enjoyed meeting some of the other guests while we were having Continental Breakfast in the main house. Plenty of selection and good coffee. Liked the location of the property on a quiet street in a nice older neighborhood. Felt very safe. Again, nothing fancy but absolutely no complaints.

A very pretty and quaint place in the middle of a pretty residential neighborhood. We had a very short stay so didn't really use any amenities. Self-serve continental breakfast was convenient. Great for visiting Trinity U, or for a pleasant place to stay when visiting San Antonio if you prefer to be out of the bustle.
A cute, quiet and convenient b&b close to downtown San Antonio. Host is great with communication.
This beautiful Bed and Breakfast was everything I hoped it would be and more. It is conveniently located close to downtown. I stayed in the Londonderry and it was absolutely perfect. It has two bedrooms and a bathroom with a bathtub. Each room has a window unit and a ceiling fan so it was cold in the room-which is how I love it. The whole entire house was welcoming and breathtaking. I highly recommend staying here.
Very quiet and tidy. Had a good experience
This is a gem of a place. The comfort and location are a refreshing change from a hotel. It's in a quiet neighborhood close to Trinity University, to Alamo Height shopping and to historic downtown. Highly recommend.
What an elegant place. Nice and quiet. Comfy bed.Lovely breakfast was set out in the morning. We enjoyed relaxing outside in the courtyard. Would definitely stay here again! The only thing I would say is that the tub/shower may be difficult to mauever for someone with mobility issues but perhaps this was only in the room we stayed in so I would advise calling the managers ahead of time to see which room would be a best fit.
Nice place to stay
A lovely home with beautiful attention to detail. Smooth check in process.
nice
This is our third time staying here and we love it,which is why we return. Very lovely ,clean home and a great attentive hostess. Walkable distance to different restaurants. We look forward to our next trip back.
Great outdoor space to relax, very welcoming
The AC is very noisy and almost on all the night. The breakfast is below expectation.
It is my favorite place to stay when visiting. Can’t wait to come back.
I enjoy staying at the boutique. The rooms are charming and it feels safe.
We loved staying on the property. It was clean and well kept. The furniture and architecture were beautiful.
Wonderful lovely place to stay
Best Bed and Breakfast I have stayed in! The house and our room was extremely clean, comfortable, and decorated nicely. The beds were great. The historic neighborhood is nicely maintained and we enjoyed walking to La Fonda's for dinner where the food was excellent. The continental type breakfast included in the morning and a very nice variety. I would love to stay again when we come back to San Antonio.
Charming Home Great Location
Charming historic home with no central ac but window units kept rooms nice and cool. Very friendly and helpful housekeeping staff. Continental breakfast had standard fare that was adequate. Beds had nice sheets and were comfortable. Clawfoot tub shower was a bit awkward to use - in a tight fit narrow space that was a bit challenging to get in and out of and shower nozzle sprayed oddly likely due to limescale clogging and was low in height. There was also previous damage to the subfloor from water making the surrounding floor sunken which was a bit unnerving. Toilet was also unusually low to the ground. However, I do understand that it's a house that is over a hundred years old and not modern day construction. The Londonderry Suite was great for sharing a room with a friend that is not a romantic partner, but would not recommend for older folks or those with mobility issues due to bathroom issues noted above and stair only access. Great location and lovely neighborhood full of historic homes.
Cutely decorated room. Lots of nice pillows. Good breakfast options.
Affordable price in a nice and quiet area. Beautiful property grounds!
Affordable place to stay in a nice and quiet area.
Great location and boutique
Great location. So nice not to be in a hotel and this boutique is right in the middle of a beautiful historic neighborhood. Very quiet and nice.
Stunning. Beautiful. Perfect.
This place is absolutely beautiful! Its a real step back in time with modern amenities! Everything was perfect and beautifully timmed by the host.
Wonderful as always!
Comfortable bed, but needs blackout curtains...its like daylight! Also, the room we stayed in had a tub shower and its not good...it had a no slip pad that stayed wet and you need caution getting in and out of the small high sided tub. The breakfast was really nice and the property is so quiet. We would stay there again.
My favorite place to stay in San Antonio!
second time staying. Always quiet. Very comfy beds. Lovely historic home
I love older homes so this was perfect for me. Enjoyed interacting with other guests. Sandra is super friendly and hospitable.
Beautiful welcoming historic home in a quiet neighborhood. Our best stay in hill country.
Such a cool property! The bed in the Blarney suite was luxurious and very comfortable. The location is beautiful and very walkable. The staff is available and helpful, too.
Simple process to enter and broad breakfast hours.
Wonderful historic house
Amazing historic house. The people running it were amazing. We loved the breakfast in the morning. The house was very charming and we found it easy to park. They also had a fridge we could put our food in.
The best in San Antonio
This was the far best vacation rental I have ever stayed at. The energy was just perfect, quiet and it the decoration was very thought out. Will definitely stay again and again.
Lovely area and house. Continental breakfast was ready for us. Longish but enjoyable river walk to centre of Sam Antonio. Local restaurant recommendations were good.
Property was beautiful and the bed was super comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and we would definitely stay again on our next trip.
Great stay!!!
Cozy
Spent one night at Clare cottage. We were looking for a place close to the zoo. It’s a cozy place and perfect for our needs. The house is a bit on the older side, which means plugs are in inconvenient places and some floorboards are creaky, but it’s tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The neighborhood is great and continental breakfast was provided. Would stay here again.
Fun Getaway
We were able to enjoy our rooms in peace and quiet. The beds are so comfortable and we were able to get a good nights rest before our adventures the day. The next time we visit we’d book again.
Not as Boutique as you'd think for the price.
Room was nice and big. Breakfast was OK but not a lot of choice for the price. Also wouldn't expect cardboard cups in a BOUTIQUE b&b !!! Also no proper kettle for Tea, we don't all drink coffee
OLD
Super cute house in a very quiet neighborhood. The bed was really comfortable and the place was relaxing. The house was responsive and very nice from the beginning but I mostly appreciated a late checkout after a half marathon race in the morning!
Very enjoyable and relaxing stay. A wonderful property!
Very good location, nice and quiet. Several restaurants were nearby.
This is such a cute house in a very walkable area of San Antonio! Nice and quiet, we couldn't even hear the other guests moving around the house. We'd definitely come back!
Lovely
Lovely spot in a lovely neighborhood. There are a couple of great restaurants in walking distance from the hotel as well.
We liked the quietness.
It was a nice place
This is a beautiful house converted to a BNB. The room was very comfortable. Location was quiet and location was great. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the breakfast. With a property marketed as a bed and breakfast, Keurig coffee and supermarket pastries and boxes of cereal don't really impress. At least they should consider fresh brewed coffee and locally made pastries.
Quiet neighborhood, room was clean, and we would definitely stay again!
overall great
excellent
Beautiful historic home! Loved our stay here—will definitely be back. Parking right out front was convenient.
Classic home away from home
I for one appreciate the character and the history that an older home has to offer; such as original “squeaky” hardwood floors, claw foot bathtub, crystal door knobs, beautiful woodwork and staircases. This home is absolutely beautiful with a few modern touches, rooms were clean and beds were nice and comfy. Lovely neighborhood and despite it being pride weekend down the street it was still very quiet. My family and I will definitely be staying again.
They had a great inn and it made our trip enjoyable.
Beautiful neighborhood and house. Very quiet. Nice sitting rooms and outdoor deck and garden areas. Very pleasant.
We are in love with this place. It's a beautiful, well-maintained old home in a quiet, leafy neighborhood. The accommodations are very comfortable and the amenities generous. This is at least our fourth stay.
This place is perfect for those who are looking for something special and beautiful. Quiet and gorgeous. Loved staying here
It was WONDERFUL, except for 2 things: 1) The shower was severely unstable. It would be great if they braced the overhead pole to the wall opposite the shower head, rubber-banded the caddy so it wouldn't slip, and added a shower mat. Also, the ceiling fan was so caked with dust we didn't dare turn it on.
I love O'Casey's. The perfect place for a quiet getaway, but close enough that it's easy to get to all the spots in San Antonio you will want to see. Always clean, lovely staff, and a beautiful site.
Very Pleasant
Beautiful Historic Home
Such a lovely historic home. Sandra has done a beautiful job with decor on the inside and the exterior has all kinds of cute little sitting areas just to enjoy the beautiful old trees in the area. King bed that was super comfortable. I was in the Kerry suite with a walkout porch on the second floor which I enjoyed every night a nice breeze. Hot water for a nice shower every morning. And a lovely continental breakfast that gave you everything you needed for a great start to your day. There is a beautiful Japanese Tea garden close by, the San Antonio zoo or spending a day down town San Antonio. The HEB grocery store is just a few blocks down the way. We sat outside and had a nice bottle of wine and cheese and crackers one night and just listened to the birds. All in all a wonderful relaxing stay highly recommend if you love the history and beautiful wood staircases, fixtures and ambiance of an older amazing home that's well taken care of in a very nice established neighborhood this the place for you. If ever in San Antonio area again it's a definite stay.
Nice alternative to a hotel chain!
Favorite stay in Houston
Really love this property. So comfortable, clean, and the staffs are helpful and friendly. Rooms are spacious, and this location is close to the highway. Very convenient.
Darling house away from downtown but close enough to explore everything. Super sweet host !
The best
The overall stay was wonderful! I will definitely stay here again!
It was an old house in a residential neighborhood. Nothing unique. There was no interaction with the hostess. All texts and keyless locks. I missed the human touch
Treat yourself!!!!!!!
Over the many decades that I’ve spent time in San Antonio, Texas, I’ve always booked rooms at downtown boutique hotels, but have experienced issues in the last few years; leaking water pipes, flooded rooms and outrageous valet parking fees. But, NONE of those issues existed at O’Casey’s. The facility is only 8 minutes from downtown, the grounds and property are impeccable, the ambiance is relaxing and Sandra is welcoming, charming and accommodating. Parking is available, on the street, in front of the property. Was texting friends during our stay recommending they make reservations for their next stay in San Antonio. 5✨
Beautiful inn in the heart of San Antonio. Loved the ability for self check-in. The instructions provided were easy to follow and very helpful.
Not your typical antiseptic motel
Very pleasant accommodations in comfortable room in large stately home in very quiet old neighborhood. Nice shared indoor and outside spaces. We met some interesting travelers.at the outdoor fireplace. Access to house and room is via codes. Street parking right outside and short drive to downtown. Description is very accurate.
Great classic old home
Beautiful home, great condition. Very quiet at night, comfortable bed.
Nice but could have been much better
Comfortable but a little lacking! It would have been nice to have some charging ports for new modern electronics, but they didn't. A continental breakfast isn't what you expect at a place like this! Pastry and cereal is ok, but again, not what I really expected.
Porch Swing
The historical home was perfect for our trip to San Antonio. We enjoyed the quiet environment and the porch swing to relax and watch the squirrels in the trees.
Loved it— will return!!
Perfect!! Southern charm!
Just fine. Thanks.
A lovely patio/neighborhood for walking, bird-watching! After 2 long days' drive, we arrived to O'Casey's just as several NEW-to-us birds were singing! Easy parking in front, on the quiet street. Check-in was easy, no-contact as Host Sandra texted me the instructions & policies directly. We had the DUBLIN Room, as I'd seen on their website that it is on the main floor = easier in/and out access. The vintage house is beautifully appointed; has those very high ceilings. The DUBLIN is at the back of the house, with tall windows for natural light, and a private bathroom. We appreciated the no pets, non-smoking, and Quiet Hours policies. We immediately wished to gift our Austin daughter a night! Food Recommendation: We heard the praises for the very nearby LA FONDA cafe only after we'd left! Breakfast was out by 8, and was self-serve. Cereals (what a nice treat, the "Grapenuts"!), breads & spreads, hard-boiled eggs, good yogurt (not "Greek"). We breakfasted on the patio. YES, WE WANT TO STAY HERE AGAIN! Cons (easy fixes): Despite the porchlight being on, the entry keypad was impossible to see at night except with a cellphone flashlight. The Dublin's bathroom door was squeaky! The all-night patio lights shine thru the pretty curtains, especially the window closest to the room door-- shines right at the head of the bed (I got that side; forced to use my eye mask.) WHY must any patio lights stay on past 10P.M.? No toiletries space in bathroom. No kleenex. Shower head is short.
The room and main areas were beautiful and comfortable. Very tranquil.
Great location convenient to everything that we wanted to do/see. Spacious, comfortable accommodations.
Charming house with character. It felt special to stay in an old house like this. Well maintained and everything we needed. Plus much more affordable than the crazy expensive hotels in the same area. Easy check in and check out, will definitely remember when returning to lovely San Antonio.
The property exceeded our expectations! The house was beautifully restored yet perfectly preserved. Very relaxing, tranquil setting with fantastic courtyard bliss!
We loved this classic old house in San Antonio! It was beautiful inside and out. Would definitely stay here again if we ever go back to San Antonio!
Beautiful historic home, very accommodating
This was a beautiful home on the inside and out. I'm not sure of the date it was built but it was definitely early 1900s minimum. The room was spacious and clean I'm suited my needs perfectly. I stayed in the main house, upstairs, so be aware that there is a staircase that is quite narrow but typical of this period home. Breakfast with self serve, with bagels, oatmeal, cereal, boiled eggs, etc. There were also pastries offered each morning. The host kept in touch with me prior to my arriving to let me know how to get into the room. I never saw the host the whole time I was there but everything was very accommodating and she even checked with me after I checked in to make sure everything was to my liking. I felt very much at home. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend. The location is about 2 mi from downtown and easily walkable. I felt very safe as this is located in a nice historic neighborhood and San Antonio impresses me as being an extremely safe and friendly city.
Heaven
This place is amazing! Needs room darkening curtains for room the patio lights shined in our room. I Can’t wait to come back here when it’s a little warmer to enjoy the patio! It’s so inviting and peaceful! I wish it were my backyard!!
This place is so cool and so clean. i got out my black light flashlight and not one stain anywhere. So peaceful and quiet right in the heart of the city. I give it an 11 on a scale of 10!!
Free Christmas Cookies. Free parking. Firm beds. Hot water adjustments are old-fashioned and may throw you off, if you are not used to classic pipes.
A Gem in San Antonio
This is my second stay and I love it. Both visits are to de-stress and refresh. Very quiet, relaxing, quant, comfortable, and lovely. I will stay again in the future. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.
The inn is beautiful and our room was nice. The outside area is great and it is in a lovely neighborhood. Breakfast is continental with bagels, pastries, cereals, boiled eggs, juice, milk, teas and coffee. It would be nice if some fruits were available. Our room had a lot of light coming through the curtains at night. Some heavier drapes would help. Overall a lovely stay and I would stay again.
Charming building, hospitable host, nice and quiet.
Love this bed and breakfast♥️
On first appearance the place seems lovely, but there is no privacy without shutting yourself in a shuttered space, the room is surface clean, but has strong odors and design that makes a deep clean impossible. Bathroom and stairway was incredibly cramped and locks are inconsistent. Very impersonal service and a poor place to sleep if you have sensitivity to light, sound, or smells.
We liked the charm of the house. It is nice and quit.
Beautiful and peaceful
Charming and clean. I loved my room, so comfy and cosy for the rest I deeply needed.
Great location for our needs. Really cute decor with a friendly feel. It had everything we needed and felt special! So glad we were able to get a room!
Staff was excellent, good Continental breakfast. Close to La Fonda on Main Street which has excellent Mexican food. Close to Pearl District.
A beautiful stay in a very chill neighborhood.

This property is an amazing area! Close to downtown San Antonio many options to eat and close to several attractions.
