Good hotel. Very clean at good location fit for family stay Size of room is bit small than normal

Loved the atmosphere and the rooms were well maintained

Staff were very welcoming and friendly, spoke very good English Room was smaller than I expected and the bathroom/toilet room very tight Shower was a great size

The hotel is fine, nothing special itself. The bar staff is lovley and the manager take accountability, however it seems like that the receptionist main soft skills is to be rude, they dont listen and they all have quite an accondisending tone which is simply annoying. Overall the hotel facilities are nice but is defenetly not worth the money that they asking. I strongly raccomand to go elsewhere youll find same service for much cheeper 3 hotel stars or much better service in a different 4 star in the city.

Room had poor lighting and generally the room felt of poor quality. I would not stay again.

Ok, but not worthy the price

Cool if kinda weird looking hotel, not much in the area, especially after 7pm - most dining options are closed and delivery is pretty much your best option. Room was cool, with some wild lighting. Hotel has a bit of an identity crisis, lots going on with the decor and visual direction, kind of a Frankenstein of ideas

Lovely hotel, knew roof top pool would be closed but disappointed the terrace was locked too. Would have been nice to sit out up there (and it was warm enough to do so) Other than that just beautiful hotel. Clean and comfortable and conveniently located

The room was lovely and the location was great as it was quiet but really simple to get to the centre.

I would take the carpets out and have hard wood.

I enjoy this hotel for business, but the people in reception could be nicer…

We visited with our two year old and loved how close the hotel was to Santiago Bernabeu and also El Cortez Ingles shopping centre. The hotel was clean and very cool decor-we didnt get to use the pool but we checked out the rooftop and loved it. Great stay

First time staying at NYX, I can only state that the location was quite convenient. With respect to the front desk staff, Jorge was amazing tried to accommodate the best he could. However, with respect to the rooms, very small and the cleaning staff was quite careless. I was moved to another room trying to be more comfortable, I had left by mistake my diabetes medication in the fridge and when I went back it was nowhere to be found. Not the best experience quite pricy paid a lot for this stay at this Hotel not worth it.

Overall could have been better but solid.

The bartenders were the best and the rooms were very clean. The area is very walkable with a lot of restaurants options which were all very good. Only downside was that I didn’t stay longer. I will definitely return and stay at NYX Hotel once again.

Bar area at lobby needs upgrades... seats were dirty and high chairs at bar need to be reupholstered. AC in room didn't work properly. Definitely not a 4 star hotel

Convenient location with accommodating staff

I enjoyed my stay as I was in a quiet, clean comfortable room - my criteria for a good stay. My room was tiny but I knew that when I checked in. I was just so grateful to be able to check in at 10:30AM (well ahead of normal check in time) as I had just landed in Madrid with little to no sleep on my flight. I found the staff to be accommodating and helpful. The hotel is near the Nuevo Ministerios area but still is about a 10 minute walk from the nearest metro. I would stay here again but would insist on a larger room next time.

Good location if you're going to Real Madrid Stadium otherwise choose elsewhere. Dark rooms, terrible carpets. Look worn and horrible to stand on and look at. Bath tub had stains. Wood work needs retouching. Bar was nice and glitzy. Breakfast was nice and full of options.

The rooftop pool and bar were great.

From reading the latest reviews, I already knew there was construction going on but it didn’t really interrupt my stay as I was out during the day. The room was beautiful and I’m glad I chose the room with a bigger balcony to have better range of view. I appreciate housekeeping for checking in whenever I forgot to leave the door sign and they always completed my request if I needed replacement of supplies. The only time I heard other people was when I was out on the balcony obviously, but not so much from the hall unless I was close to my door. The hotel was clean overall although sometimes you could see supplies in the hall from I guess the construction. Other reviews mentioned the elevator but I didn’t notice anything negative, just leftover water from people coming from the rooftop pool, didn’t mind it though. Very convenient location in terms of food spots, convenience stores and public transportation. There was also cabs always waiting in front in case you’re worried about that but personally I enjoyed being able to walk a short distance to trains/buses. I’m a solo traveler and felt safe overall traveling to and from places. Will definitely return again if I come back to Madrid!

Great hotel

Overall this hotel isn’t at the standard it should be, especially in a limited area. The rooftop needs an update, along with parts of the hotel. Chipped paint work, mediocre decor and basic amenities for a four star hotel. Overall I was quite disappointed. The rooftop pool is quite small and over crowded. With limited places to sit around the pool, and you aren’t allowed to have your cocktail by the pool area, a really unfair rule compared to other four and five star hotels I have stayed at. Overall it’s a pretty basic and cheap looking hotel.

Close to the airport

Always felt safe. Walking distance to Estadio Bernabeu

Overall a fine stay, my second at this location. Better than the first time (when the elevators broke and there was lots of water leaking). Still tho, it wasn't exactly to my liking. The room I received was very small, no room to walk around. Though it had a nice view, it was clean and the bed was comfortable, I'm not sure if this was the correct room I paid for.... In any case, this hotel simply doesn't seem suitable for a serious business traveller. There is no proper table in the room, and no suitable chair to sit in. I had to take some video calls and there was simply no good / comfortable way to to this. The room did not have an iron, so I asked and one was delivered. I didn't look closely before using it tho and it left a big black mark on a nearly new shirt. Not cool. If you have kids and want to hang by an energetic, loud pool scene or watch a game in the downstairs bar this hotel is awesome. If you need to do some serious work in the room or go to meetings looking pressed you might choose a different place. I love NYX/Leonardo hotels but just not convinced about this one.

Excellent stay

Nice Hotel Excellent Service

Nice hotel not far from Alvarado Metro Station with several bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel has a sky terrace and pool which is ideal for hanging out but the music is played too loudly so if you want to read a book it is nearly impossible and it is the only outside space for relaxing. The service at the hotel however was excellent.

No bell button to help with the bags. Very small room and inconvenient bathroom. A lot of dust and annoying staff.

Very nice bar and roof top lounge. The hot water temperature in the bathroom is very difficult to adjust - either too hot or too cold.

I had a fantastic stay at your hotel! The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, the room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Thank you for making my stay so pleasant. I look forward to returning!

Small hotel, pool area is not very nice, under construction, cold pool, drinks at bar are delicious but very expensive. Food is not so good. Front desk is very rude!

The cleaning staff was amazing and very accomodating. The lady that did the check- in at reception though, very unfriendly.

Place was great, love the inside front of the Hotel. Needs to get the smell of smoke of the carpet and in elevator. About a 12-15 min walk to the Bernabeu (loved it). The attention in the bar was great. Quick Suggestion, if you like to connect with the culture., visit the small businesses surrounding the area… it’s priceless

Very pleasant staff room very nice clean however very small. There is a swimming pool on the roof but we have been told it’s closed and we are not allowed to use it that was big disappointment. Hotel info said otherwise.

Enjoyable Stay with 5-Star treatment

This was a great experience as the front desk, and everyone we came in contact with, was absolutely great. The older gentleman working the evening shift at the front desk went above and beyond to inform and advise us about everything, from food options to tips on having the best experience at Bernabéu Stadium. The walk to the stadium was a pleasant 10-15 minute walk. For anyone considering the breakfast option, you should definitely go for it. The food options were plenty and the quality of the food was great. If I could think of a negative, I'd say the size of the rooms are small, but not atypical of most European hotels. Overall, definitely 5 stars!

Convenient but small room

The room was clean enough and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located. However, the room was very small for what I paid. I paid 150 euros for one night and was given one of the smallest rooms in the hotel, you could barely walk in that room.

Trip to Real Madrid

We came to see Real Madrid play and the hotel was ideally situated for the stadium about a 12 minute walk.

Beautiful and interestingly decorated hotel

Lovely hotel, very beautiful and interesting decor. The room was lovely and quiet considering we were in the middle of Madrid city centre. The bed was very comfortable. It was a shame that the rooftop bar was closed but it was January so maybe it was too cold for it to open. Location wise it was perfect for us. I would stay here again in the future.

Nice stay

Loved it . 118 Room very clean , bathroom needs a lick of paint ..& made observations to the front desk …but never found out ?? But their were noisy what sounded like trolleys moving around above our room ?? Thought it might have been a laundry or a cleaning trolley storage room ?? Staff very friendly and if your into football Madrids stadium just down the road ..pool and roof bar closed this time of year but looked great .. definitely come back

Very good. Locations and amenities

The hotel has a certain sense of quietness that is relaxing, the rooms are a bit small but my partner and i made it work. The rooftop pool was a great addition for the august spain heat! The only thing is getting a chair that is open for you to lounge and your towel.

It was all that we expected, the service was great. Reception was always responsive. They never said no. They help with transportation. Everything was great.

Everyone else apart from Reception was great and worse reception service I have received, spacilly young girl who was in the day I checked in and also love the concept of the hotel but looking at the notice of restriction deviate the whole concept

Interesting hotel

Interesting and eclectic hotel located just outside city centre. Not accommodating for heavy luggage due to stairs down to reception area. Breakfast not included even though we were informed that breakfast was included at reception. Small room with difficulty navigating around the beds. Have arcade games on various floors yet were unplugged the second day of our stay.

Staff were great and accommodated all our needs during our short stay, good food and drinks as well. We would definitely come back!

Decent hotel in Madrid

Hotel was good. Check in was quick and staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and evening dining was fine (it has limited options for good enough if you don’t want to go out). We opted for three single beds for family of three. Room was clean, only issue we found that there wasn’t much space in the room. People who are claustrophobic won’t like it. The dark Colors of wall doesn’t help when the size of room was too small for three bedrooms hotel room that wasn’t cheap. Bathroom was good and clean but again small. Hotel is located in quiet street away from city hustle but has a number of restaurants around and metro (Alvarado) is only 5-6 mins walk.

Weekend break

Funky hotel , friendly staff , lovely pool , beds at pool limited though . Shops , cafe and restaurants close by if you didn’t want to stay right in centre .

Conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood. Young vibe at the hotel, lots of folks on the roof deck. But generally quiet. The hotel facilities were nice and everything was clean. A few things were in need of maintenance but overall it is a nice, clean environment.

Check in was nothing special. I would expect nicer staff for a 4 star hotel. They couldn't care less. I ordered room service, terrible food.

madrid in the heatwave

comfort room - really good for 2. Not much space round bed but plenty storage and reasonable bathroom fridge in closet was big enough for some water bottles and cans

Enjoyed our stay

The beds were clean and comfortable, but the room was small. We rotated one bed towards the window which provided us more space for our stay. We opted to add breakfast, which was decent. The bathroom could used a deep clean, there was some mould in the tub and oily body part stains on the walls. The area felt safe, was easy to get around with many taxis and Uber in the area. The pool service was exceptional!

Not a great experience

Unfriendly staff, maintenance issues and maintenance work going on up to 9pm in evening. small comfortable rooms, funky decor. Ok for young couples, wouldn’t recommend for families. Location in residential/business area, need taxis to get to centre of Madrid (or train).

Comfortable stay

The hotel was comfortable! The staff were attentive and pleasant Breakfast was not the best. There was a day it was obvious they brought out left over from previous day. Vegetables were mouldy, fruits were dry, carrot was very dry and scrambled eggs was not well cooked. I complained to the staff and the vegetables and carrots were promptly replaced with fresh ones however it will have been great to have fresh food daily. Breakfast on the last day Saturday was really fresh compared to the previous two days.

Roof top bar and pool were great and well utilsed. Rooms decent. Ground floor bar not open during our stay and lacked any wellness facilities. But great 3 day stay
