Spectacular service from all staff and wonderful amenities.
Worst hotel
Beautiful hotel centrally located. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
spectacular view onto the acropolis great breakfast
Staff was amazing!!!
Great Service and Location
Staffs are very nice, even remembered my name.
What a truly wonderful experience! A beautiful hotel in a perfect location with the most helpful and friendly staff. I was there on business with 6 of us for a week, and we were all amazed. I have a new favorite hotel and will be bringing the family soon! Thank you, NYZ!
amazing stay at this hote
I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring every need was met. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. Highly recommended!
Excellent
Great hotel, great location, best views from roof top, excellent value
Stunning
Stunning. Amazing. Fantastic. Everything was immense All you need to know!
Excellent staff. Beautiful property and location.
The staff were all wonderful! The property is very clean and decor is very colourful and trendy! Lovely views of the parthenon from the rooftop pool and 9th floor restaurant! Magnificent buffet breakfast every day!
This hotel has a new modern concept that at first may be surprising if compared to other hotels of its category, but soon you get used to the upbeat vibe.
I spent a week here and it was like a home away from home atmosphere. The food is excellent, and the desserts were great as well. I can't just single out just one person, because the whole hotel staff are great. Patrick Wm. Cheeseman
Ok
SUPER MODERN AND COOL. PRICED RIGHT, GREAT STAFF , ATTENTIVE AND CONVENIENT WITH SPA SERVICES AWESOME MASSAGE AT RIGHT PRICE AND DINING ON ROOFTOP W VIEW AND POOL!
Great, easy walkable location. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Pool is very small… but rooftop restaurant and bar are great.
Good location
Nice but not really worth the money.
Stylish hotel on a busy commercial street adjacent to the Plaka. Swimming pool is a wading pool, maximum depth .85 meter and as shallow as below the knee level. No sun umbrellas because no space-you need to sit back by wall for shade).. Only 8 lounge chairs requiring advance reservations in 3 hour increments. Rooftop bar/restaurant limited tables requiring advance reservation (our first evening there was a private party consuming half of the seating space). Front desk not well staffed or particularly helpful. Breakfast was OK and the hotel was comfortable and we had a balcony facing the Acropolis for close to $500 Euros a night. Not worth the money.
Not quite the right fit
Whilst the hotel was accommodating enough, the rooms were on the small side. This is normally fine however the hotel also had a scent that was perfumed into the hotel which was unbearable. Definite the hotel for party people.
Athens
Hotel was quite nice. Great breakfast buffet. Roof top pool with fabulous view but pool too shallow. Location average. Not far from centre but nothing much in the immediate vicinity. Overall fine. Thought it was a bit odd when we were not be able to be told if we could have a later check out til the day and were told that a full paying client for a daily rate was more important than us offering to pay for the right to stay 3 more hours. Didn't feel too valued.
Loved the property and the hotel staff. Very clean and housekeeping was great. Average staff rating is for restaurant and bar. Felt neglected, pricing was high, orders incorrect staff oblivious.
Great location, close to all attractions and shopping. Modern and very clean rooms, staff very helpful Amazing breakfast buffet!
Overall it is a cool place - being a Marriott citizen, it is a cross-breed between Moxy and W, priced more towards W, without its coolness. However, staff are excellent and the roof top bar/restaurant/pool are priceless. Pity that the food is not up to standards it could easily meet (both breakfast and dining at large)
Excellent !
It is a high-tech room which I Iove, very clean, room a bit small, great breakfast, close to the city center Syntagma square. Overall it was a great stay.
PICK A DIFFERENT HOTEL - PLEASE READ
This hotel is ok, nothing great, It has a very odd layout and theme. The problem is that they took our headphones out of our room so I have nothing good to say. My wife was listening to a podcast and she put her headset on the bed and went out to dinner. When we returned they were gone. We immediately went to the front desk as my wife has a tracker and can see that they are at the hotel. I'm assuming the cleaning person took them by accident, but they said that they were gone for the night and we would have to wait until tomorrow when they return.??? We just told them to go in the cleaning room and we'll grab them, but they said it has to be in the morning . Well we were leaving early in the morning so that wouldn't work. They said they would 100% contact us and sent them to our home back in the states. Not once did they call or email and that is after we contacted them countless times. After 12 days we returned to Athens and went directly to the hotel to get our headset, but after 20 minutes they said that they didn't have them. Funny as my wife's apple phone now showed they weren't there. Maybe the battery died or maybe they took them as they were nice. I'm assuming so since they never followed up. Terriible customer service and management. We spent over $1300 staying there for 3 days and you would think they would reimburse us for our headphones that they took. I get this can be a one off incident, but even the management said this happens all of the time
Absolutely loved this hotel. The amenities were amazing, the room was very high-tech. 10 out of 10
I had the pleasure of experiencing a memorable stay at the NYX Esperia Palace Hotel Athens in August 2024. It is one of the BEST hotels I've stayed at. Where do I begin? Upon entering, the eclectic style mesmerizes, leaving you wanting to explore more! Each floor provides its own unique look, while tiying in with the overall theme of the hotel. The accommodations were all that I could ask for, and more! My room was tastefully decorated, and included a comfortable bed, soothing shower, and all the amenities to provide a comfortable and convenient stay. Their spa provided a variety of services, with a professional approach. I didn't want to leave! The pools!! With the hotel providing an indoor and outdoor option, no matter the weather, your nautical desires are fulfilled. The view from the outdoor pool is dreamy, while the indoor pool provides comfort and serenity. My dining experience will remain unforgettable for a lifetime! With views of ancient civilization and heights reaching the sky, I was floating on cloud 9. Dinner was decadent, and the complimentary breakfast provided a variety of selections, catering to everyone's needs and wants. Overall, this hotel is one of a kind, and I look forward to my return. Kudos to the creators and wishing them and their staff all the best and continued success! See you soon!! ;)
We loved our stay at the Esperia Palace. The room was a decent size and very well equipped. We were very close to many bars, restaurants and sights and just 15 minute walk to the Acropolis. We went for my daughter’s 21st birthday and the cake on arrival was a wonderful surprise and absolutely delicious. Thank you very much
Great location, view, food, cocktails and vibe overall. Would recommend and certainly stay there again.
The hotel faces derelicted buildings in the front, so if you are given a room facing the road, you will get a view of these buildings, plus the road is very busy and noisy. To add to this the roof top bar which is amazing and the restaurant both play really load music in the evening as well as the day, which makes it very difficult for you to have a conversation during your meal as you having to shout to be heard. Overall a pleasant stay, but I had to mark my review down from excellent to good as the music was to load and the view from front of hotel wasn’t nice at all.
The only thing I didn’t like was the beds
Had a great stay and the team were all friendly. My room was excellent and bed was very comfy.
Clean property with good amenities and in an awesome area around luxury shops and restaurants.
Wonderful staff
Fantastic location for a stay in Athens. It was very centrally located, close to the metro and restaurants. It was fantastic having the pool to come back to. Rooftop was fantastic for dinner and drinks. Fabulous breakfast with a view
Great hotel
Great stay at a hip, sexy Athenian hotel. The rooftop lounge, pool & restaurant with stunning acropolis views made the hotel a hit.
It could be a bit noisy at times.
This property is sooooo stylish. Loved it! Wish we could've spent more time in this location to really enjoy all it had to offer. The rooftop was a party. A great little time spent there. Small pool
A
Property is modern and rooms were comfortable. Biggest issue was with getting the pool sunbeds bookings and response. They did attend to my issue with the noise of the room. And changed it for me from the lower floor. Breakfast was good with a large selection.
awesome
Very good service
The hotel is great, the service was great and the staff is very friendly. Rooms could be a bit more spacious. Great location. it is a great place to stay
I had three rooms booked for senior members of my family, I had called in advance to request that their rooms would be situated far away from the noise coming from the club...unfortunately they were kept awake till 3am with the club noise....I spoke with Mariana to make the request

Amazing staff!
Great hotel with amazing staff!! Rooftop views are incredible.
Got this hotel for the pool to relax after its a busy day sightseeing. The pool is not deep, only up to the knees and the area around it is very small. Also, we were not allowed to eat in the hotel restaurant as we only had trainers and they want you to dress up - there is a very nice sushi place round the corner, but essentially, two facilities of the hotel were not useful; the pool and the restaurant.
We had such a great stay!
Amazing
Modern hotel at a great location but with smaller rooms. Amazing views
Modern hotel in a great location.
The hotel was beautiful and modern. Our room was unfortunately two twin beds pushed together. I did not realize this when booking. The breakfast was fantastic and the view was unreal. If you want a sunbed by the pool make sure you book before you arrive for you stay!
nice staff very helpful great breakfast
Absolutely fantastic view!!! The hotel is super modern, the staff is super helpful and the vibe is great. Breakfast is outstanding.
Very nice, good location.
Fantastic hotel, staff amazing and so friendly. Restaurant was fantastic, pool area beautiful and service brilliant. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Amazing stay we stayed for 1 night staff was so friendly and nice room was super clean highly recommend
The swimming pool
My two friends and I enjoyed our time at the hotel. We thought the front desk was efficient. The general staff, housekeeping and especially the front door and general staff were exceptional. The rooms were very modern and electronic controls were easy once instructed. We did find the lobby area not conducive to crowds. It is long and narrow and difficult to maneuver luggage around especially with the stairs, pillars and concierge desk crammed into a small section while waiting for the front desk. A table for water dispensers rarely had clean glassware and added to the over-filled lobby space at front desk. But a few cool touches like the old school gaming machines. The pool has an absolutely stunning view of the Acropolis that is not to be missed. However, this is my one big complaint. I am not sure why the area has to necessarily be connected to the restaurant. You have to walk through the restaurant entrance to get to the pool which is weird. The hostesses patrol the pool area in their high heels and white dresses, while sheik for the restaurant has no place in a pool area. They pace back and forth on their phone look glum and do not smile. I think management put them in a tough spot, are they an upscale restaurant hostess or a pool attendant? The pool area is not relaxing, and we felt uncomfortable sitting there in bathing suits. The pool area is too cramped and filled with tables and chairs. The area is not big enough for both dining and drinks and loungers for the pool.
It was very nice and clean.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say that my experience was outstanding. The level of service provided by the staff was truly exceptional; they were attentive, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met. The accommodations were comfortable and well-appointed, contributing to an overall atmosphere of relaxation and luxury. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable stay characterized by top-notch service and quality.
Great big room and great selection for breakfast…..rooms not very sound proof and pool only 0.85m in depth
Didn't feel safe at night and far from restaurants. Nice food but very annoying when bus boys keep taking away your plates and utensils.
Amazing location! The property is clean and new and the staff are so accommodating. Also, the rooftop pool is great and offers beautiful views. 10/10 and will definitely be making this my go to hotel for all of my stays in Athens!
This is not a 5 star hotel.
The hotel was good. But, it’s not a 5 star hotel. We asked for king size bed. We didn’t get it. We got 2 beds. The breakfast was okay. But far for excellent. The rooftop pool was nice, but with no beds and really too small. Not only that, but guest smoking inside the pool. Also, prices of food and drink too expensive. Regarding value for money, it was a bit of a disappointment. I’m pretty sure that for the price we paid we could get much better.
We were so happy to have booked a hotel with a pool to take in some acropolis views. Splurged on a nice room that came with business lounge access and it was some of the best money we spent in Greece, largely because of the lovely staff member Ilia working there who was so friendly and gave us amazing recommendations for our trip that really added to what we got to take in on just a quick stay in Athens. The indoor pool is peaceful and lovely. The outdoor pool is more of a party and you definitely need to book a sunbed if you want to have space to enjoy as the pool deck is very small. All staff were super helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend. Also very walkable to all main tourist attractions
THEE BEST HOTEL! The ROOFTOP WAS AN EXPERIENCE!
Loved the dining
Can’t recommend enough
This property is excellent in every way. The rooms are modern and loaded with the latest tech. The business lounge is stocked with drinks and snacks all day, the pool on the roof is beautiful and the restaurant and bar are terrific…not to mention the views.
Hotel is great but disappointed with access to pool - one of the reasons we chose this hotel over others in the city. All lounge chairs had been previously booked and we could not access the pool - very disappointing. Staff were unable to assist
Amazing!
Shouldn’t be a 5 star
Place was very clean and rooms were nice. I gave the experience a 3 because the pool area was terrible. They should have done it differently also when u have a 212 bed hotel and have to book one of 8 sunbeds over 3 daily times the space was not utilized properly. Service was terrible and the continuous Dj was constant. The pool itself was shallow and very cloudy . When u see people drinking all day in it and not going to the bath room it makes you wonder. If the pool area was configured better I would give this a better rating . Also asked my fridge to be looked at and no one ever came . For a 5 star hotel my expectations were high and I left disappointed .
This is a new hotel so everything is amazing, working perfectly. Rooms are very modern and clean. Breakfast buffet is very very good. Staff is super accommodating. Would stay here again.
Good overall. However, a few surprises. For example the pool is heavily promoted on their website, but be aware that the pool is closed at 8pm before tou can even swim at night time.
Was extremely happy with hotel last year, so we returned. This experience was very disappointing, rude staff from moment of check in, to staff on roof top bar/restaurant ( sitting there for 15/20 minutes before anyone acknowledges you, on multiple occasions) Hotel was very busy everything was very unorganised. Won’t be returning!!
Great ambiance, rooms were really nice, strong wifi, staff helpful and hotel facilities, including the spa, gym and both pools were very good.
This hotel needs to learn a thing or two about customer service. When we arrived (after a 10 hour flight), the rooms weren't ready so we headed up to the lounge for a drink and something to eat. We sat at a table for 30 minutes without a single waiter coming to see if we needed anything. I had to go inside and chase down a waiter to ask for service, and it still took him 15 more minutes to come to the table. The rooms that we were given were not the type that I ordered and we had to argue with the front desk to get the right accommodations. The facility itself is very nice but without a professional staff, it is way overpriced and would not stay there again.
Nice hotel
Great hotel with very stylish design inputs throughout. Room was great but lacking in ergonomics in the bathroom, very small area with sink access for one person at a time only, then you have the toilet which has a very large floor space which is wasted in my opinion. The shower is also poorly designed with water flooding underneath the door into the sink area. The rest of the room was nice and pillows and bed very comfortable. All lights/AC/blinds accessed through smart touch panels throughout. The staff service was exceptional 99% of the time but for one extremely rude staff member in the buffet at breakfast it would have been 10/10. Pool area on the 9th floor is great with views to the Acropolis, however the sun bed booking system allows for misuse and unfairness(we stayed 4 days and could not access 1sunbed) On one occasion we noticed 1 couple had booked 4sunbeds for some reason and weren’t even using the other 2, the system allows for the greed of the few people who behave in that way, and consequently others suffer. Breakfast buffet was good but mostly all of the hot items(eggs, bacon, etc) were cold and not maintained at a good temperature. Views from the buffet were amazing. Overall this is a great place to stay and could be much better with some minor improvements from management
Contemporary property, wel maintained, good area for sightseeing, great staff n room. great pillow menu
Great location, great service
Beautiful property, beautiful room. The service varied from excellent to frustrating. The hotel prides themselves on having an upbeat ambience and so they play loud repetitive music in every public space. In fact, we could hear it in our room late at night. When I called to have them turn the volume down, they did so hesitatingly. If you’re an upbeat, kind of person and like loud, repetitive music, you will love it.
Great location, nice roof top pool, good breakfast- ideal hotel for visiting Athens
Great location and hip and happening hotel. Would definatley reccomend staying here whilst in Athens.
Excellent
The stay was very good. The only unpleasant thing was that to get into the rooftop bar you must pay 50 Euros per person!!! It's very unpredictable for a guest of the hotel
Not a 5 star hotel
The service is not a 5 star hotel. Rooms small but high tech. Called for dental kit 3x before it was brought. Very crowded breakfast.
Great hotel. Very modern, great service - overall loved it.
With caveat- I’m not sure how someone could complain about this property. It’s new, gorgeous, good gym, great breakfast and good management. Yea, the pool is small, (go to the beach) it’s fun without being super in your face and the service is consistently good. However, I had to fight for my VIP upgrade and my first impressions were very poor.
Building was sleek and modern. View from the restaurant is beautiful. Our room happened to be on a lower level on a very busy street so the noise was a little much while trying to rest after a long day.
The pool was great
Excellent property. Pleasantly surprised, fun atmosphere beautiful settings great rooftop pool and restaurants.
Great location, fun decor, helpful and friendly staff, amazing view of the acropolis from the rooftop restaurant.
Great place, would stay there again.
Exceptional property. Beautiful hotel, very friendly and accommodating.
Horrible! Avoid at all cost!
This hotel is a total nightmare. I highly encourage you to think twice before choosing this place. I have been here for 6 nights, staying in a room at 8th floor, almost the highest possible. Every night there was a huge noise-disco music coming from the 9th floor where there is a rooftop bar until 1-2 AM. I asked the staff if there is anything they can do and the only answer I got was - you should get used to it… Apart from that the „design” of the hotel is a nightmare, it doesn’t correspond to very beautiful greek culture and history or has nothing to do with Athens vibe. The breakfast is a joke, the variety doesn’t exist, every day is the same, tasteless, no a la carte options, only buffet which is cold and very low quality. Last but not least - the hotel is crowded with Israeli citizens who are very loud and they feel like they own this property. Staff at the restaurant and bar is not trained well, I asked for an espresso at 9 PM and they told me they don’t serve coffee afer 8 PM… I won’t even mention the price/quality ratio.
Nice hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was very nice, once we upgraded (by paying more) to a better room with acropolis views. Cheaper rooms are ok but rather small and dark. Breakfast was perfectly adequate (the machine coffee was terrible so we ordered proper coffees from the bar, which were charged at 7 euro each. This hasn’t happened to us at this type of hotel before). Restaurant was ok, the view spectacular. Only problem for us was the music, which was very nice (I’d like to get the playlist) but rather loud. Spa was fantastic. All in all a very decent hotel (maybe trying a bit too hard to be hip).
Best hotel I’ve stayed in for years. Lovely space, great facilities and finish. And most of all, great staff: happy and polite, with a perfect balance of attentiveness without ever being irritating. Really thoughtful and very efficient. I will certainly come back.
Security followed my husband to the restroom assuming that my husband would skip out on the bill. However we were staying as a guest in the hotel with an open credit on file. He was absolutely out of line. Additionally we missed the breakfast time by 4 minutes and the hostess refused us to go in even for a cup of coffee. No courtesy whatsoever. So I will blog my review. Sorry
