Excellent service!!!
Great location - quiet area but easy walk to London Bridge or Mansion House or Bank tubes. Rooms were comfortable. Only weird thing was a glass divider between bedroom and bathroom- was frosted but still weird for a room that had a sofa bed so uncomfortable for families with teenagers. Would have loved a hairdryer without having to hold the on button and hair conditioner would have been nice. Staff polite and helpful. Very close to Borough Market.
Had an awesome time staying here!
Nothing stands out,
Great - few things to nitpick
Stayed for work, given a quiet room as requested, had asked for shower over bath but given shower only which was a shame but not a major issue. Lighting a bit dark in the bathroom, would appreciate brighter lights for doing make up. Eco lighting seems common across all similar grade hotels now though. Comfortable bed and room temperature, lovely view of the City. A nice touch would be some biscuits with the tea/coffee, and possibly more variety, including some hot chocolate. Working iron and plenty of cupboard space and hangers. Couldn't get chromecast to work, again now the end of the world but a little irritating given the price paid. Shower good but a bit of grime under the handheld attachment so cleaning could be better, breakfast varied and tasty, enjoyed the sausages. Bar/restaurant looked nice but food menu a bit limited for evening options. Convenient for London Bridge area. Would definitely stay again and complaints are only minor.
Near london bridge and borough market Good brakfast and nice bar Close to underground station Nice staff
Very nicely located. Water pressure in the shower was good. The room was not too spacious for 3 adults. The hotel has 2 elevators but only one was working. That caused issues in the morning when people was going to eat breakfast or check in out.
Recommend
Clean hotel good location. Nice modern building
Service at check-in was poor. There was no queue but it took a while for the Receptionist to acknowledge me. Shower didn’t drain quick enough for the pressure of water. Cupboard front in room was loose.
Staff and services were outstanding. Breakfast is really good in variety and quality. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Walking distance to metro and tons of dining options. Would definitely return.
Not worth the money they charge. Stayed in much better 4 star hotels for less! Front of house staff very unhelpful and don’t answer the phone.
Very convenient and so close to Borough Market as well as the tube station. Great breakfast. Book with your room rate as there are lots of delicious choices. Rooms were clean. Staff was very nice and attentive. Walkable to London bridge. Lobby offered safe luggage storage before our checkin and after our checkout. Great choice. Great location. Highly recommend it.
Excellent base for exploring London.
This is a great, modern hotel. In a quiet area, but only 5 minutes from Borough market. Reception staff were excellent, very friendly, and allowed us to have our room early as it was ready. Nice toiletries and plenty of space even though we had 3 adults in the room. Highly recommended.
Close to Borough market…very nice hotel…good service
Room was pretty average for money paid. Bed not made up for third person. Had to request bedding. Reception Staff were great though. Room quiet and good blackout curtains
Nice Hotel... but bathroom layout not good!
Overall, our stay was really good except for the layout of the room. We didn't like the way that the sink was outside the bathroom, it somehow disturb the person sleeping if you're going to use the bathroom and wash your hands after.
Great Location
This hotel is the perfect location for The Globe and Borough Market. It is also walking distance from other places, including the Tower of London.
Wonderful stay - close to many things.
Excellent.
Great hotel.
A normal hotel in an ok neighbourhood. Overpriced taking into consideration location. Friendly staff at the restaurant.
Exceptional service, beautiful rooms, and a fantastic location made for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 #HotelReview #FiveStars #LondonStay #TravelAdventures
Upscale atmosphere
Lied about the amenities and tried e to overcharge
They lies that there was a functional sauna. They lied about having the room I booked being available and tried to charge me full price for a small and cheap room. They destroyed my wedding night with the lies. They tried charging me 400 for a small room without the beds I wanted. The front door desk told me to speak to the manager in the morning. I declined to stay after seeing the horrible room. Why would I stay? They said sorry but told me to stay anyway at full price. I refused. I forced hotels.com customer service to give me a full refund with £100 credit. Initially they declined to help me. I had to threaten litigation to get an instant refund and credit. Either way, the damage is done. They destroyed my day and showed no remorse.
The lighting in the rooms was poor.
excellent hotel with great vibe
Excellent hotel with friendly helpful staff. Good atmosphere, excellent breakfast catering for wide range of food preferences. Room spacious , comfortable and very clean. great location for visiting attractions around Borough Market and Bankside, some great bars and restaurants close by
Short walk to the Borough s market . Close to main attractions. Front desk staff very nice and helpful .
The rooms are a bit small and we were not a fan of the shower wall that is translucent….you can see the silhouette when taking showers etc. Not much privacy when you have child in the room etc.
Very small beds
Excellent breakfast and good. Very clean rooms, just a bit small. Excellent service. Would come back.
Ver nice rooms!
Breakfast was great but overall the stay was not comfortable.
El sofa cama de los niños sin confort ninguno. Desayuno excelente y la atención igual.
Great Location
Very nicely positioned in the South Bank area, idea for Borough market and the Christmas stalls on the river front
Very nice hotel
Staff polite, helpful and friendly. Good location of the hotel. Nice bedroom. Good breakfast options.
Clean and family friendly
The front desk was not really helpful and the food is terrible
Gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis
Close to dining areas
Great stay
Very pleased with our stay. Clean, nice room. Appreciated the Krupp, free water and regular refresh from housekeeping. Restaurant was nice to have, decent food. Great vibe in lobby, modern and welcoming. Convenient to Borough Market, metro, London Bridge, so much. Solid hotel, no major complaints but for sink in the main room vs in a closed bathroom space.
Exvellent hotel and location. Very quiet but only a few mins from the buzz of Borough Market or the Embankment. Very friendly, efficient staff. Nice rooms. Would definitely stay again...
Nice place
Under par for the price
Given the cost, it was disappointing to check as slowly as it was, was poor. The main receptionists wete literally escorting visitors to their rooms as the key system was not working so the lady who started checking me in didnt know how to and we had to wait for a receptionist to return. I also had to unblock the drain in the shower as it started to over flow during use. It was a quick fix but reflect poor cleaning. To boil the kettle for my morning coffee i had to physically hold the switch down. Everytime took my finger off it switched itself off. Personally ill be avoiding Novotel in future after this expensively disappointing experience.
Definitely going back
Mid week break for our wedding anniversary. Staff are fantastic, rooms are superb and food is exceptional. Can't recommend enough
My husband and I with two teenagers stayed in the premium room with Queen bed and sofa bed for 8 nights. The sofa bed was actually two single beds pushed together. All beds were very comfortable. The room came with a fridge (small) which was nice as we shopped at a local M&S store for lunch supplies. The shower didn't have a door at one end so you need to be careful not to flood the floor. Wifi worked well. The gym was great. We didn't have the breakfast as we just bought cereal and milk (brought bowls from home). The location is great and we always felt safe. Recommend going to the George pub for a true British pub experience. London is very walkable and the Tube so easy to use. Take the city bus to Greenwich, dedicate a full day for the Tower of London. The changing of the guards isn't that great but touring Buckingham Palace is fantastic. The streets are a labyrinth and cars, bicycles and pedestrians just seem to know how to operate within it. Everyone seemed so relaxed and not uptight. Lovely vacation. Tip: Hot munchies - an eatery literally out of a hole in the wall under a bridge (you will pass it walking to London bridge tube station) has great food at great prices. We also recommend the Burnings, Butchery and the Black Death tour. Fascinating! and great tour guide.
Great location for exploring everything you want to see across London! Close walk to Borough Market - we went there every day to pick up meals on the go. Good size rooms, comfortable beds and modern washroom. Only complaint would be the pillows. Would definitely stay again!
Good family location
Hotel was clean and a convenient walk to London Bridge, transit and tourist locations. The sofa bed was set up for us when we arrived and they quickly resolved an issue with our a/c.
great location
Really nice staff; very clean; breakfast was a nice feature; they also held our luggage for us on the day we arrived and left (so that we didn't have to lug it around before/after check in/out). We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in London!
All of the popular historic sites were within an easy metro ride which was a short distance walk to get to from the hotel. We loved Borough Market and it’s great dining options which was a walkable distance as well. The hotel was clean and stylish and a pleasure to come back to each night
Great place to stay in London near a lot of restaurants, tube station and sites.
Great hotel. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent location about an 8 minute walk from London Bridge underground and 5 minutes from Borough market. Lots of conveniences nearby like Pret, Waitrose, and Amazon Fresh. 20 minute walk to Waterloo and 30 minutes to the theatre district. The hotel has an exercise room and a sauna as well as a restaurant and bar. Staff are super friendly. This was a great experience.
Excellent!
This property was simply top notch . Staff super friendly, rooms where spotless and with enough space for a family of 4. Perfect location to reach easy local transportation, easy dining around the area and many amenities around the property. We definitely recommend Novotel London Bridge.
Nice boutique hotel … very pleasant
Great stay, wonderful location. Breakfast buffet was fantastic!
Overall really happy about my stay here. Staff made a bed proactively prior to my arrival because they noticed stay was booked for 4 of us ( 2 kids) which was a nice touch. Breakfast was grand and worth adding. Tv kinda sucked, might be good idea to add hdmi cable to room.....but i suppose i could have asked for one.
The location is awesome, near Borough Market, London Bridge, Tower Bridge and Tower of London. Also, the hotel is clean and the room is so modern.
We booked the premier room but very very small , no space to do anything other than to sleep
Very small rooms, even as they offered an upgrade and I accepted a surcharge, at the time of the check in the hotel did not have the upgrade rooms available.
Convenient location near the tube, comfortable room, nice breakfast buffet and great service. Would definitely stay here again!
Everything was great! I will definitely recommend this place .
The location, staff and room was great. We had an issue with our bathroom which was resolved by the time we left. Overall a great place, would definitely stay there.
Spent a night here before leaving London. Good walking distance to many things. Clean hotel and comfortable.
Place was fine. Rooms small. Pretty basic. Breakfast ok. Gets busy. Check out was good. Could do more like give you more water for the room
Was close to rhe venue we were attending
Excelente
Great affordable option convenient to all that London has to offer. The suite worked perfectly for our family of four. Clean and well kept hotel with dining on site, but also a block away from multiple dining options as well. Would definitely stay there again!
This hotel looks beautiful, it is well maintained and the staff is great. We were upgraded to a beautiful room and we are thankful for that. Definitely a great hotel.
Overall a poor check-in experience. We arrived after 23hrs of air travel and despite asking for early check-in in advance, we were given false hope that it might happen but, we were not accomodated. We were happy to pay extra night or even the extra rates. On arrival one staff member told us they would ask the cleaning staff to prioritise our room clean once vacated at midday but when i asked later another staff member told me that was not the case. It makes no sense to me because we were the only family / guests waiting for about 4-5 hrs in the lobby, so all they had to do was at midday, ask the cleaners to do our room first so we could check in early. Or even just communicate with us properly or regularly. Some hotels offer free tea or coffee or beverages while you wait to check-in, anything to make the guest feel valued or listened to. The hotel is good in the sense that is located in a good spot for transport so i think it gets away with a lot of good reviews. The buffet breakfast was also reasonable.
N/a
The room was very nice. The lobby was well kept and clean. Staff were welcoming and accommodating to our needs. The area outside the hotel in surrounding areas was dirty, but to no fault of the hotel or their staff.
Good location
This was an oasis for us when London was experiencing some hot and dry days. AC in the rooms was a good send. Buffet breakfast had eggs, sausage, hashbrowns and croissants. Room was spacious for two of us. Walking distance to Globe Theater and Bourgh Market and the Tate Modern.
Loved the location, perfect for a short stay in London with our family. There were two amazing restaurants nearby, Over (Italian) and Lantana (recommend the French toast!). The hotel itself was nice- cool reception areas, our room was clean and modern but quite small. We were happy with our stay.
Lovely hotel and very helpful staff, big shout out to the guy handling the night desk when we checked in on Friday and met him a few times over the stay. Super helpful and friendly.
Nice hotel. Convenient location. Cleaning staff not up to par. Our room was not clean one day. We ran out of toilet paper. When I called the front desk to ask why the room was never cleaned. She said they start at 2:30 in the afternoon. Which is ridiculous. The cleaning staff always starts early in the day.
Great place to stay and reasonably priced -
Nice
Our family of 4 stayed 6 nights at the Novotel London Bridge. We used Novotel’s upgrade option to upgrade to a suite which was perfect for the long stay. The room was very clean and everything was in working order. The only thing we didn’t like is that the shower was in the main room, so there was little privacy for the person showering. The hotel seems popular with families, which was great for us. The breakfast had many delicious options. The location is close to the tube and national rail station and walking distance to Borough Market, the Shard, the Globe theater, the Tate and lots more. Overall, we had a great stay.
Hotel is located near sightseeing and has many restaurants nearby. Staffs were kind and helpful. It is a clean and safe hotel. Room Space was relatively tight for us, but was doable.
Enjoyed our stayed over the weekend. Staff were all accommodating. Location is close to everything.
Thermostats are irrelevant here
The staff did not tell us when checking in that the AC was still in Winter setting (it was late May), so we only got hot air in the room, even when the thermostat was set to the coldest setting. As a result, we kept waking up in the night, sweating and uncomfortable.
Area was great.
Everything was good. Room sizes could be bit bigger. Front desk information access a little better. But overall good experience
A little above average
The air wouldn’t work so we didn’t sleep well since it was uncomfortably hot often and the parking is $7 pounds more, from $27 to $35 a night. It would’ve made a difference on my hotel choice. Otherwise the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly enough. I would say this is a good place to stay if you don’t mind the discrepancy in parking and the lack of air at night, everything else was really nice
My family stayed at Novotel London Bridge on our vacation to London. The stuff was super friendly, had an early check-in ready for us (at 10GBP per hour). The breakfast at the hotel was very good and stuff was great. Our room shower stall drain was slightly off and did not drain well when we arrived but the staff fixed draining issue (not the slighly off issue that allows seeing black stains underneath the drain plug) as soon as we let them know. In general the stay was very good and we definitely will consider this hotel for our future trips to London.
Room was too warm and air didn’t work but beds very comfortable!
Nice clean room. Central location.
Great customer service, and great location.
Great!
Excellent location, great breakfast, good transit options nearby. Rooms are smaller but its London!! Walking distance to London bridge subway stn, St. Paul’s cathedral, Waterloo stn (for trains to Salisbury) and even London bridge and the Thames river!! Lots of dining options and bars!!
All the staffs were so friendly, even the cleaning lady. My son didn’t feel well when we arrived London and the cleaning lady helped to cheer him up while cleaning our room. The hotel is so close to Borough market and underground. We had a great time staying there!
Convenient transportation
We have stayed here Saturday - Sunday as a family. Everything was lovely a part of our bathroom had a strong smell. Must of been toilets drains.
All of the staff were very helpful! The room and hotel, in general, were very clean and nice.
Love the breakfast. And the hotel is close to the tube station and the river bank.
Aiza who works as a Front Desk and Sean Ferguson who works as Bar Tender they were both kind and helpful. They made our spring break memorable and would definitely coming back and stay again.
Very clean and very close to London Bridge station. Also quite close to lots of restaurants and Borough Markets. Close to river walk and major attractions (St Paul cathedral, Globe theatre, Tate Modern, the Shard, Tower Bridge). Buffet breakfast free with paying adults. Breakfast has vegan and allergy free section. Need to get more comfortable mattresses and twin cots not as comfortable as expected. Staff very helpful. Super cleaning staff.
