Have always stayed here due to the location right in the heart of Siam Square. Everything else is within walking distance like Paragon and MBK. However, do note that because it’s in the heart of Siam Square, getting in and out by car or private hire will take a bit of time.

Great location with friendly staff. I gave 1 star because the shower was dirty, the mold was all over the tiles. I stayed here twice but never improved. No more going back.

There was mould in the bathroom. When I was checking in, it was impossible to pay the room deposit with a debit card (any debit card), and I didn’t have cash at the time. The best solution the manager could come up with was to send someone to the room to completely remove the minibar and I also couldn't use any room service

Good for a short stay.

Thumbs up for all their staff! Friendly, helpful, and always there to greet us with their great smiles! Place is conveniently located just opp Siam Paragon, with BTS station that makes it easier to travel. Only one point I hope to see improvement is to have more variety of food for morning breakfast.

Nice hotel, great location but needs upgrading

The hotel itself is pretty dated but lobby was still in good condition. Customer service is good and staff are very friendly and helpful. And the hotel is in a great location. Here are some negative points 1. All the room doors should be changed or checked. I am staying in room 1414 which is near the corner but I can hear room doors slamming all the time. 2. Buffet needs to be better organised and modernised. The coffee machine is located near the entrance, which means the customers have to walk from one end f the restaurant to the entrance to get coffee. 3. Food is also not warm enough and presentation of food is very dated. Many times when I open the food container, it’s either full of condensation or it’s almost empty. 4. Toaster is surprisingly good. It toasts bread very quickly but I did see some guest putting croissants into the toaster even though there was a clear sign not to do it.

Great location as very close to Siam Square LRT a trains. Could book trips there as well, recommend the River night cruise

In the heart of siam square , it is convenient. My gf burnt her fingers with boiling water and the first aid team was responsive and helpful, will return in the future when I am in Bangkok, Thailand.

Awesome hotel with great location. Staff is very friendly and professional. Rooms are clean, spacious, and pretty well decorated. Solid pool and poolside bar. Would stay here again or try their different locations!

This property could use some upgrading. The lobby was in good condition but the rooms are in bad condition, esp the shower. The tile grouts, the shower door trim had molds all over. The paint in the room was like DIY. Felt like I was checked in a cheap motel.

Breakfast buffet could improve, its not that great. The coffee machine makes mediocre capuccinos.

Best place to stay in Bangkok

My usual hotel stay in Bangkok. Due to its location. Walking distance to the train plus all the malls around the hotel makes it a great place to stay in Bangkok. As the traffic condition there is no joke. Another perk they have is the executive room which provide free access to the lounge from 5-7pm with light snakes and free flow of drinks. Breakfast can also be take there every morning. Wonder when will the hotel give me a free upgrade after all the reviews I wrote for them.. 😅

During my stay, I was very impressed by the kind thought of the team where they remembered my birthday!

Service from front desk staff were exceptional, especially Abdul. He went beyond our expectations and was very accommodating. Additionally, the hotel was so accessible to all the malls and eateries. Will definitely stay again when in bangkok!

Good Location

The hotel was in a good location especially for a newcomer to Bangkok with easy access to all the major shopping malls and transport. Whilst I didn't use the pool, it was a great size and easy to reach on the 4th floor. The hotel was of the usual Novotel standard, clean and modern. The bathroom was easy to use and a good shower. I liked that the hotel hair dryer was not attached in the bathroom and could be used in the main room. My only complaint was the pillows were both hard, but I must admit I did not ask for another one which I'm sure they could have accommodated. The only other downside was no chair to sit on to do hair or makeup or to quickly put a shirt on ready to go out. There was plenty of room for a simple chair. It did have a lounge which I enjoyed resting on at the end of the day instead of always having to use the bed. The reception staff and concierge were all very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay there again especially if I were travelling alone.

Great locatio

Location was great! Very near to Siam BTS. Surrounded by massage places.

4th time staying at the Novotel Siam Square. Always feel safe, and its easy to walk to eveything inc the Skytrain.

The property is a touch aged but in a great location and staffed by good people. A continued frustration remains that my Accor status does not apply as the booking is through Expedia (despite the reception staff being able to see the details in their records). Another word of caution is that Expedia charges in USD and in my hurry to book, overlooked the fact that I ended up comparing AUD and USD and made the wrong call in the end.

I stayed on the 18th floor and room is clean and bed is firm. Enjoyed the room.

Poor reception and slippery floor

We booked 2 executive rooms with club access under the same hotel confirmation and had put up a request asking for connecting room. Upon arrival, we were told that they are not awared of our request and said that the 2 rooms are booked separately hence they had no info. We are also being told that club access is only given to 1 of the room even though we had paid for it. They only cleared the matter on our 3rd day stay that all of us can access the club lounge. Staff seems to have a poor understanding of their work flow and this affect us. Also the shower floor is very slippery when wet. All of us almost lose balance a couple of times.

1. Hotel need renovation 2. Water (shower) supply/pressure was weak 3. Bathroom socket was dusty 4. Housekeeping service was not consistent, no big towel in the first day, no small towel in the 2nd and 3rd day 5. Sound proofing was very bad which made me not sleeping well 6. When people closing their door, it made vibration of my door, it's very annoying specifically in late night. 7. Excellent location 8. Buffet breakfast was good with a lot of varieties

The hotel is next to 4 major malls all within 10 minutes walk, I really enjoyed walking on the sky bridge which is a 2 minute walk. The room was nice and facilities of the hotel are great, there's a nice gym and pool as will as a good restaurant but dining options are endless in the area, overall it is a good place to stay if you're thinking of doing some shopping

right in center of shopping malls. The best to travel by sky train. Hotel is quite old and needs to get renovated asap… parking lot is very stiff and scary and so dusty.. no elevator to the lobby. Breakfast is not so special, not so variety:)

Very old and dims room and not comfortable

Initially was given room 1216 which is dim lights even on all the lights its dark, toilet door 2 door have to push and closed together. Customer service was great and awesome to change room 1421 for us immediately the room lights is brighter however room is a bit dusty and toilet door, please try to slide it is so heavy to slide the sliding door as there is a huge and thick mirror stick together with the toilet door. There is no mirror wall on the table except the thick mirror stick to the toilet sliding door.

Very convenient location. Right in the middle of all great shopping malls. Walkable to MBK mall, Siam Paragon Mall, Central World etc. Super close to Skytrain where you can take the skytrain to anywhere you want. Eg. Terminal 21 Mall, Phayathai Station can lead you to airport rail link to Suvarnabhumi airport. Service staff is very friendly and helpful. Value for money international breakfast buffet. Room is clean and housekeeping to make up the room daily with clean towels, bottled water, toiletries. However, there is some concern on the security, anyone can take the lift and gain access to hotel floors. This can be improved by installing security lift access system.

Unbeatable location, fantastic staff.

The location was excellent - just across the street from Siam Paragon - and it was walking distance to everything we wanted to do. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, sending up smaller pillows and fresh towels when we asked, and even helping us print some documents. Rooms were clean and modern. I highly recommend upgrading to a premium room for lounge access - the quiet breakfasts and tea buffets were a nice break from the chaos of the city.

Staff were efficient and friendly. Curtains are complete blockout, and bed was comfortable. Rooms are slightly worn, and there were signs of prior water damage to flooring adjacent to the bathroom.

A bit run down

I stayed here a few years ago, and was sad to see it had gotten quite run down. The room was more run down and not quite as clean, the service was inconsistent, and fewer overall amenities.

Highly recommended hotel for those travel to Bangkok.

Very close to shopping, massage, food

The hotel staff were excellent, accommodating and very friendly. The area around the hotel was super convenient with plenty of food options and shopping nearby. The property feels a bit dated and the floors were squeaky when walked upon, could do with some renovation to update the ambience.

Always a good stay!

Novotel on siam stays has never disappoint us. Stayed as couple or with friends, the service, cleanliness, the warm welcome we received surpassed our expectation. Thumbs up!

The hotel is getting old though as the AC in our room could not be set to low making the room cold in the evenings. The lavatory set-up is dated and splashes over. We were upgraded to the premium floor (17th) but room needs refurbishing as very few sockets and most of them are loose making anything you plug not powered. Buffet is plentiful but same everyday and also needs to be updated. Staff at dining place were excellent. We will consider again because of proximity and convenience to malls and dinning places.

The hotel is actually more of a 3 star hotel. It’s old and dated. But it gets high marks for being close to Siam Paragon and Central World.

Great room, disappointing lounge

Excellent service from friendly staff and a great room on the executive floor. Only disappointment was the executive lounge which didn’t have any snacks available outside of the two hour happy hour window. Lounge didn’t meet the standard of other Novotel lounges we have used.

Location is good with foods and massage shops. Not quite and good for short trip.

Unfriendly concierge, cheap furniture, everytime someone rings a doorbell down the hall you hear it, anyway hallway noise and door sounds are heard. Wont stay here again.

Shopping around the area is great and that is all. The room is horrible. Old furniture, table top have stain and chipped. I dont even one to talk about the toilet. Limited amenities. No long mirror. Noisy as hell. People above our room are noisy and heavy footsteps and running around. Will not come back again.

Very convenience

It’s conveniently located. But the lifts need to be updated. 3 out of 4 lifts are working, it’s slow and always packed.

Location excellent.Within 5 mins walk to Siam Paragon mall and the BTS.. Within 10 mins walk to Central World mall. Stayed in Novotel Hotel for 3 nights - first night given a room with no view - a wall. Terrible feeling. Receptionist should be more sensitive to guests staying longer - who wants to see a wall outside your window? The staff changed my room after first night, which is appreciated.

Pros- bed, strong water pressure, location. The hotel is old but turnover is high. Cons - walls and floors are thin. Could hear all the other guests in hallway going in and out. The room i was in needs a refresh. Try and get the newer refurbished rooms but you need to pay more. Hairdryer is difficult to use.

All the staffs were great! Excellent service! Only suggestion is to provide an umbrella for convenience
