Really great property. Well maintained. Loved the outdoor patio, quiet. Bed very comfortable and bedding was very nice. Just a suggestion though, but maybe 2 soaps in the room ( one for shower and one at sink) and even a couple bottles of water in the room would be good. We will definitely stay here again.
A Slice of Heaven
Our stay was a slice of heaven! Everything was in top shape and clean. Would love to go back and have the same room.
Much better than expected
Love the beauty of this property. We had a very nice stay. Room clean and host was very nice. Location was an easy walk down the riverwalk to shops and places to eat. Very quiet neighborhood.
NOT a B&B
I was upset to learn that while they are listed as a B&B no breakfast is included. You can get a "continental" breakfast with 24 hours notice for an additional fee. If you don't serve breakfast you are not a B&B but a boutique hotel and should advertise as such. Also, there is no pool as also advertised on Hotels.com.
There were stains on the chairs in our room. It was advertised that there was a hot tub but it was filthy and in disrepair.
Charming stay
Love it at Noble Inn. Such a charming place, would love to be able to try different room types. Service excellent. Would be back whenever I can.
It was amazing! Such a cool concept, would definitely stay again.
Location, was good. But overall condition of the B&B is not good. As photos show, extensive water damage, dry rot, mold and cracked wash basin Also found cockroach.
We found the Jackson House (part of the Noble Inns of San Antonio) to be spotlessly clean, quiet, comfortable, and historic. Its location in the King William Historic district is fantastic. It's an easy walk to lots of fun restaurants in Southtown, the serene beauty of the Riverwalk and La Villita shopping. The beautifully restored King William district residences are spectacular. One does need to go to The Oge House down the street if you want a full breakfast, or to speak to an innkeeper. But the peace and quiet of the Jackson House worked well for us. I'd skip the continental breakfast offered by the Inn, as there are better, lower cost breakfast options just a few blocks away for less money...The Madhatter, and Tito's. Both were both terrific. We will definitely stay with Noble Inns again when we return to San Antonio.
Christmas lights on the walk
Had a Wonderful stay. Quiet and cozy. Very organized.
Perfect anniversary weekend
Was amazing, quiet, beautiful and friendly staff and service
A classic inn
The inn was beautiful, the people friendly and attentive. The service staff did a very nice job as well. Everything you would need was available and the location was great as well.
Beautiful Inn right next to the River Walk but away from the downtown noise
Wonderful location within walking distance to many locally loved restaurants and bars. Very receptive staff made our stay in the home excellent with home made cookies and refreshments available throughout our stay.
Jackson House
Ants. Otherwise great stay. Jackson House fantastic. Super Orish bar Francis Bogsides across street.
The location was excellent. The staff was so helpful and friendly
Beautiful grounds, great location. It did take the bathroom sink about 2 minutes for the hot water to get hot, and it was easy to get water on the floor from using the shower. Other than those minor quibbles, the building has a nice old charm.
quiet no crowds it was nice and so enjoyable pleasure of the peace and quiet Thanks
Really convenient location on the Riverwalk. Quiet but close to lots of sights and activities. Comfortable accomodations and pleasant common spaces.
B&B in King William
Overall, ann average experience. I was NOT at the main B&B advertised. I was approximately 2 blocks away. The house is a little dated (my room was VERY dark inside) & next to an abandoned house. Overall, I enjoyed my time — but a bit overpriced for what the accommodation offered. That being said, it is in an excellent location within King William .
House keeping not that great- otherwise would get solid 5 stars
Beautiful historic property in great location on Riverwal.
Beautiful place
The property is closed to restaurants and River Walk which is very convenient. The inn is very clean and quiet. The inn keeper is very nice. However, the outside of the Jackson House is little run down. The room has no windows, just sky lights. The ceiling is at a angle so my husband hit his head multiple times. The shower needed updated. I wish I had booked the other property of Noble Inns. They are beautiful. It is not bad overall.
Not a bed and breakfast, just a bed
The picture of the hotel isn't the place we stayed at, we were down the road on Madison. That felt odd. I consider this a bed and breakfast. If you book through Hotels.com, the price doesn't include breakfast, another oddity.
We loved it as we were looking for romantic getaway. Cozy. We loved the fireplace.
Birthday weekend!
Great historic homes in the beautiful historic district. Very comfy with excellent breakfast. Quiet neighborhood close enough to walk to the action.
You will love this place!
The bnb was absolutely gorgeous! We loved our stay and breakfast was wonderful and elegantly served.
Jackson House
Great place, peace and quite, great local hang outs.
Pleased
The pool looked like it had not been cleaned in a while
We loved the property and the location. The Inn was charming and our room was lovely. Free parking was a great plus for us. The neighborhood was very walkable and we wound up walking to dinner every night since great restaurants were very close by. After dinner we enjoyed sitting on the porch and enjoying the breeze. We had breakfast at the inn one morning and it was very good. A very nice ( and quiet) spot to spend a few days and enjoy San Antonio.
Terrific location, and beautiful amenities.
Great find away from the Tourists in the city
Lovely find in the King William District on the River walk.
Tasteful and homy hotel, friendly and welcoming.
I was pleasantly surprised at how personal approach the hotel has. They contacted me to find out about special requests and when I said I was vegetarian, they were going to probide a special option for me. The hotel is well thought out and homy. I love everything about it. Highly recommend.
Special
Our stay was very special. Our first trip to San Antonia. The inn made it a memorable experience.
Treated poorly and made to feel very unwelcome.
When making my reservation I did not determine that there are three properties that are with this listing. The one with the most elaborate photos and where the breakfast is served was different than the one I ended up being in and it was not clear that would be the case. When I asked the owner Don if we could visit our room at the Jackson house location he said that he could not allow us to, quote, "run around unsupervised over there and did not have time to take us himself". We were considering moving to the main residence. When I explain to him many hotels allow people to preview the room before occupying it he said, "He did not want to give us a key to the house and have us running around in it"!?? Running around? He was obviously taken back by the fact we are minorities. It was evident when he first greeted us and as he spoke through the door and asked, are you checking in? Then he realized he was talking to us through the slightly opened door and let us in once we said yes. We were not made to feel welcome and I would never go back there again. It was our 24th wedding anniversary and we tried to make the best of it but my wife was clearly disappointed. Good thing I did not let her see the bug (silverfish) that was in the towel on bathtub. As I pull the towel off the bug jumped and ran across the floor. I was able to kill it before my wife saw it. She would have really been disappointed then. LOL. Never Noble House or its affiliates..
Cozy Inn on Riverwalk
This Inn was amazing. We stayed here with several of our friends and were scattered among the three houses. All were very clean & really nice. The staff was great. The breakfast was too die for. Highly recommended!! We will definitely stay here again
July 2017
Lovely location near many small local resturants, Both houses were lovely, Breakfast was outstanding - this is a must when visiting San Antonio - walking distance to all central locations
Gracious! Relaxing! Awesome!
Location - Perfect for Riverwalk! Breakfast - Best ever! Accommodation - Superb! Would highly recommend to family and friends!
Great Stay in San Antonio.
Awesome trip
Good location poor wifi
Rooms are a little old no baatroom on main floor doors hard to work no social rooms
Great B and B
Great Bed and Breakfast on the river walk, only ten minute walk to restaurants on the riverwalk or less in King William neighborhood
Romantic B & B close to the River Walk
My husband and I booked Room 5 of the Jackson House for a long weekend for our 10 year anniversary. Everything was wonderful, from the cozy room, the comfortable bed, the peaceful surroundings and the delicious breakfast. The short walk to breakfast down tree-lined streets was a wonderful way to start our morning; and after breakfast, the River Walk was thoroughly enchanting. The innkeepers were attentive to our needs, and gave us great ideas of where to go for meals, or just to explore the area. We purchased the add-on Romance Package (champagne, chocolate, and carriage ride)--a must-do! All in all, a wonderful experience!
San Antonio delight
Wonderful historic homes, converted into a delightful B&B
lovely staff
Bathtub leaks, table glass cracked, room small, next to decrepit house, King William district close to good restaurants
Great Bed & Breakfast
This bed & breakfast was so very wonderful! It was relaxing, quiet, clean, and comfortable. Each breakfast was tasty! Cindy was a pleasure! So close to the Riverwalk and Alamo we walked each day so no parking hassles! We will do this again...we enjoyed our time so much that neither of us were ready to be home!
Beautiful Inn
Will be staying here again. From the moment we booked at The Oge House, my boyfriend and I were completely accommodated by the inn's staff. We had a wedding to attend at 3:00 and were allowed an early check-in to change, which greatly reduced our stress of travelling. When arriving at the inn, we had a private parking lot which we shared with only about five other cars -- this made me feel very secure. Pictures don't do this place justice; walking around the property, you feel like you've been transported into another time in history, wondering which historical figures graced these grounds before you. Mr. Noble, the inn owner, was very accessible the entire time, and gave us great recommendations to eateries in the nearby area. The room was spectacular. We stayed in the Steves Room, which was beautifully decorated and filled to the brim with amenities. The bed gave for an amazingly comfortable sleep, and, being in such a secluded district, there were no traffic noises or loud disturbances throughout the night and morning. Breakfast was the perfect way to start the day off: reservations were made for our table when we checked in and we just had to walk across the hall to the most wonderful-smelling dining area in the morning. The meal consisted of a bacon and kale frittata, sausage patty, and a warm croissant drizzled in cinnamon butter, with cantaloupe and grapes in a separate dish. C'est magnifique. Like I said, this will not be the last time we book at Noble Inns.
Great location to Riverwalk
The room was beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious.

I chose to stay here instead of a high-rise on the Riverwalk - it was an excellent decision! It was so quiet, beautiful, and truly charming. The only complaint I had was that things were a little dusty and the baseboards need a major scrubbing.
