Would not recommend. If you booked consider cancelling. Service- Awful. Make little effort to help with any issues. Amenities- Room- not very clean, spots of dried feces on floor in bathroom of first room and it stunk! Room was changed. It was also too small (booked flat for 3 adults/ 2 kids) they gave us a room with 1 king bed and 1 twin pull out sofa. They said it was in same category. Had to bring in roller bed for first night but again this occupied about 40 minuts on day one to accomplish. Limited seating pool, beach, water park. Many people sitting on concrete around pool or on sand. Booked Cabana at water park with concerge, arrived at park to hear it was never booked. Worker said "you sould not book with concierge but directly through him" Even said he would beat the price. Just so distasteful Booked cabana by beach arrived and was told it was never booked. They gave us one but someone had alerady took chairs to use and they did nothing about it. Had to spend another 45 minutes arguing for a refund. No sense of management or cohesiveness in the entire resort. Met to lodge several complaints, time was wasted. No one communication among staff making for a frustrating and poor experience overall. Food- Poor quality, limited options. Buffet was boarderline inedible. Restaurants were good but they make it difficult to reserve. You have to log on at exactly 9:00 to book along with every other person on the resort and once its booked too bad.

The service is absolutely nonexistent at this hotel, never experienced this at an all inclusive resort and have stayed at many. Not enough chairs by the beach or pool, it's a constant fight to get chairs. The grounds are beautiful. Management needs to completely change for us to ever consider going back.

We arrived at the hotel on Wednesday and were immediately impressed. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the staff—both at the front desk and in housekeeping—were incredibly accommodating and friendly. The security was also excellent, ensuring that only guests with valid passes could enter, which made us feel very safe.Unfortunately, our trip took a turn for the worse on Valentine’s Day when both my husband and I came down with a terrible stomach bug. This was especially difficult for me as I’m 15 weeks pregnant, and I experienced severe nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and diarrhea. While my symptoms lasted about 24 hours, my husband was sick for an entire day. We were essentially out of commission for most of our stay, which was supposed to be a seven-day getaway. As for the activities, the hotel is definitely geared toward kids, which was great. My children (ages 4 and 6) had a fantastic time in the pools and water play areas. However, one of the biggest disappointments was the event schedule. Several events, including Dominican Night, were advertised but then canceled at the last minute. After dinner, there weren’t many engaging activities for families, so we often found ourselves wondering what to do next. Pajama jam is not worth paying. The characters only come out for 20 minutes and they rush everyone to take pictures and before someone is done, they are calling someone else. Very disappointing

The people working for the pajama jam need to relax. They give you 1 second to take a picture and when my mother was getting up to take a picture with my daughter they were calling the next family. A way too expensive experience for the way that they treat you. To be honest it is not worth it. It was 8 in our group. We paid a lot of money to be rushed.

I visited this resort a few years ago and it has greatly declined. The pros are the staff, every single staff was friendly and helpful. The facility itself is very child friendly, there are plenty of things for kids to do. The cons…. There is nothing gourmet about the food. There are items missing at every single restaurant we went to. At Fresco we ordereda dominican chimi burger. There was no coleslaw, no dominican bun! It was a regular burger on a sesame seed bun with lettuce, tomatoes and uncooked onions. There was no croutons for the Cesar salad as noted on their menu. No grilled shrimp skewers. At the Italian restaurant no crème brûlée. No gnocchi… at WokWokno also missing dishes off the menu. I ordered a martini I never received even though I reminded the staff 3 times. Room service was not good. The second time we ordered room service it took almost 90 minutes for our food to come and that was after we called to check on the order 60 mins after placing our order. At the buffet there were no bowls for cereal or oatmeal. The tables weren’t bussed so there was a shortage of tables. The plates keep running out. Its like no one was managing the place. And the worst part was the small amount of lounge chairs around the pool. Such a huge resort and there were literally about 100 chairs if that. With plenty of space for more chairs. Familles , like ours resorted to placing towels on the concrete and sitting on that. Diff to make reservations at half empty restaurants

The food selection could have been better, I got brave at the Asian restaurant and ended up getting sick for a day. The resort is geared towards children and my children had a really good time. They tried a bunch of new food at the Buffett which was one of our goals. Ut as an adult, I left hungry and because I don’t drink a lot, that part was disappointing to me. It seems like almost everything is an upgrade here. We bought a couple of them to enhance our stay but beware that even though you don’t have to spend any extra money, they are going to ask you to every chance they get. If you are doing it for the Kids, this place is great.

The resort was beautiful. What made our vacation special and rememberable was the staff. Starting with valdamire our concierge who guided and assisted us with all of our needs. He went above and beyond. The staff on site was friendly and very kid oriented. The resort not only was exciting for our kids but catered to me and my husband as well.

Great vacation, super clean resort, great room and i had the cheapest one, pool beach, waterslides, ice cream shop and drinks all great. Happy to get away from the snow and cold. Kids had a fantastic time and they are older 9 and 11. Its a kids resort...catered to kids. Highly suggest joining the facebook group

Amazing resort for kids. We celebrated our daughter 5th birthday and we all had an amazing time. Food is good. Drinks are good. The pools are nice. Breakfast with characters is a must. The workers in the beach bar by the pool were soooo nice to us. Thank you luis for your amazing service. Only thing is for reservations in the restaurants is a little annoying. Other than that we had an akazing vacation in this place. Thank you guys

My family had lots of fun in Nickelodeon Punta Cana, and everything was great.

The resort property was always very clean & enjoyable. There was always something for my child to do that kept her busy throughout the day and night. I also like that you are allowed to use your own camera to take photos and videos with the characters and you’re not obligated to have the resort professionally take the pictures. With the already additional costs of certain characters dinners, breakfast and sliming, I found this to be a plus. The food options were not enjoyable for my family and one morning they ran out of syrup, jelly & cheese way before breakfast was suppose to end. The fruit & ice cream was our best friend!

Property was ok wish it was more to do for bigger kids. One of the managers named Jeri was very ignorant when I asked a question about our stay being that we had missed a night due to flight issues which I really didn’t have a problem with but one of our guests weren’t there due to finding out the day before that he could not get his passport. He told me “my guest wasn’t there because he didn’t want to” very ignorant and unacceptable. Also, the front desk never answers the phone. Food selection in the buffet area could be better. And when we visited the Nickelodeon store one of the associates followed me and my son around on our backs like we were gonna steal. Other than this I would return to the Rivera Maya resort not this one!

We stayed end of January 7 nights in a nest swim up. We had our two year old with us and had so much fun! The room was very clean, housekeeping definitely kept up with it without interrupting naptime or any of our daily fun. The food was hit and miss. I read awful reviews before we went and it was far from those. The buffet was good, we had eggs made to order every day, along with fresh fruit and mimosas. Lunch buffet had a decent amount of options, we always found something. Room service was hit and miss. Drinks and service were excellent but they did run out of things, red wine on our last day, a lot of food options were unavailable throughout or stay as well. But, we did enjoy so much. Loved the Italian place - the meatballs and pizza and steak were so good! Liked spacewalker - loved the short ribs. Did not like wok wok at all. And we all love that style food but was not good. Not inedible, just not good. The water park and the characters made our toddlers visit extraordinary. The big pool was awesome, the beach clean and beautiful too. The shows were a little late for us to enjoy with our little but the ones we caught were so much fun. We weren’t looking for late night activities for this visit but may pass on this one for our next vacation to have some night time fun.

Staff were extremely rude and not helpful

The food was awful. We actually got food poisoning. A lot of their staff did not speak English. Front of the line staff should be able to communicate with their guests. The grounds of the property is very well maintain.But I would not recommend this resort for the fact of the lack in service and food. My family and I will definitely not be going back.

The resort was beautiful, however, the food was not good. The only food I enjoyed were the burgers at the burger restaurant. All of the other food was not very good super disappointed. I ordered several different entrées that were always missing cheese, or bacon, etc.. also, I was excited to have margaritas and several bars said they did not have tequila.

The resort was amazing only the main rest doesn’t have good customer service but Joan made the stay wonderful I’ll definitely be back soon! I loved the breakfast with characters and after the incident Joan was wonderful!

We did not enjoy our stay. Staff was unfriendly. We had AC issues and it took three people to come and check before they finally changed our room. Wristband backing issues charged $150 USD extra. Space restaurant reservations were made and day of they said it wasn’t there.

The property and grounds were well maintained. The room was ok- average clean, not well maintained inside. Our swim out pool area was great. The pool, beach, aqua Nick area were all very clean. This is a great place for the kids, not really meant for the parents which is fine, that’s why we were there. The service varied. Some amazing staff there that really wanted you to have fun and be taken care of. Then a lot of other staff that could not communicate with English speaking guests at all. The Buffett and as probably the biggest surprise- we did not get a drink with any meal until the last meal. They do not service tables well there. I feel they should have a drink station because they just don’t come help you. They did have a coffee machine that was pouring only hot water haha. We got water a few times- but rarely even offered another drink. The food was not great anywhere - we went to the burger restaurant and it was genuinely awful, we couldn’t eat any of it. At the Buffett the pancakes and waffles (what I expected my kids to live off) were so undercooked they wouldn’t eat them ! The kids LOVED the ice cream sweetery and basically survived off that. It’s a little hard to get a drink anywhere for the adults Overall the kids loved it. My kids are a bit older and loved the beach. We got one good day where the waves weren’t too bad but every other day the life guards wouldn’t let them in the water because it was too rough. 4/5 days is enough…

Property doesn’t feel like Nickelodeon, and for you to see the characters you have to do the breakfast which is expensive .For adults it’s hard to find a drink after 7 .All the bars are closed .

Overpriced, property is run down, mismanaged, terrible cold food that runs out. Restaurants are reserved for the “prestige members only” so unless you get sucked into their timeshare, service sucks and access is limited. Very disappointed.

The resort was a kid filled adventure! My children enjoyed the beach, the water parks and breakfast with the characters. My room was nice with a swim up, however another rooms in my group needed to be switched out. Space Walk Resturarant was delicious. 10/10. I enjoyed my stay.

While the grounds of the property are undeniably beautiful, the overall experience was deeply disappointing. 1. Staff Service: The staff’s attitude and responsiveness were unacceptable, making it difficult to enjoy our stay. 2. Food Quality: The food was subpar, lacking both flavor and variety. It left much to be desired for a property of this caliber. 3. Entertainment: Entertainment options were minimal. 4. Beach Conditions: The beach was largely unswimmable, which significantly impacted our ability to enjoy the main attraction of the destination. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this property and would not consider returning.

I will give a total of 2/5 for this stay Rooms 4/5 : The room temperature was appropriate but dehumidifiers are needed in order to remove moist of beds. Bed is hard (very hard to sleep on your side), but thats a matter of preference Food 1/5: All the restaurants except for the Spacewalkers were absolutely terrible. Not much else to say about this. My entire family was disastified. Much of the items on the menu came out entirely different, other ingredients and such Drinks 4/5: They do have premium drinks and the bartenders at the Snick Lounge are knowledgeable. Pools 5/5: All pools were pristine and well kept. Snick park was well kept as well. Kids enjoyed it Entertainment 3/5: Night shows were good. Occasional character appearance is ok. Expected more for being a kids hotel Cafe/Ice cream 4/5: Breath of fresh air in the hotel, actually very decent

Lazy workers, poor customer service. Had to ask for service and wait a pretty long time to get a cup of water. It was no plate for the buffet.

Overall was a good stay. We really enjoyed the waterpark, the circus show and all the various activities the property had to offer. Overall, staff were very friendly and some went out of their way to make sure we were happy, especially at the Explorer's table restaurant. A few areas that need improvement: When we first checked in, front desk did not make a good first impression. We felt like we were being bombarded with information about the property and amenities and were being rushed through the process to get to the room. When we asked questions or didn't understand, as his accent was a bit thick, he seemed a bit annoyed at that and he had no problem showing it. The 24 hour room service definitely is not 24 hours. They never answered after a certain time and sometimes had trouble during the day. Certain dining conditions should be explained beforehand or given further details on the app, etc. For example, Spacewalker requires reservations 24 hours prior, but we had no clue until we physically went over. Lastly, the extra prices for things like the character breakfast was a bit high. We paid almost $500 USD for 2 adults and 3 kids. Seemed a bit excessive. Despite that, we did have a good stay and we had a memorable time at the resort.

We all loved it. If your a super fancy pants maybe this is not the place for you if you a midwestern redneck it’s perfect.the workers don’t know much English so it’s doesn’t go unnoticed if you make an attempt to speak Spanish. Just the basics. It was very beautiful and Relaxing. Not much to do nearby, off the resort grounds and the ocean isn’t the safest for Kiddos but if you want to relax and eat some good food this place rocks. We didn’t have kids but there were kids in the group and they had fun also. We had teens and this wasn’t the target age gor them but if you have younger kids they would enjoy. I didn’t spend a single dollar except tipping. Everything is actually included. Sweeter for your coffee needs. They are awesome there. Making reservations (showing up at opening) helps get into the Italian place and spacewalker ( get the steak) wok wok etc. had a blast but may not work for everyone.

For the price we paid for an all inclusive resort, there was very little included. There were a handful of restaurants that didn’t require reservations, however, the hours of operations were limited. There were plenty of add ons for reservations which cost an additional $89 USD per adult and an additional $79 USD per child. There were hardly any activities that were included in the package. For example, the Pajama Jam where kids and parents could have breakfast on the their pajamas with characters was also $89 per adult and $79 per child.. The water park was great! We loved the slides. The rooms were dated. They mentioned that they mini fridge (water, soda, etc) would be restocked daily, but this did not happen. I had to call out each time I needed something restocked.

Viajamos con dos niños, de 6 y 9 años y por ser un Hotel temático enfocado en la familia y ellos, teníamos una expectativa elevada, pues en fotos y redes se promocionan como “5 estrellas”. Debo decir con algo de tristeza que tienen muchas áreas para mejorar antes de ser excelentes. • Personal- cumplen su propósito a medias, no son accesibles, tampoco muy simpáticos. Conseguir a nuestro concierge fue imposible. Luego de 6 días no sabemos si realmente existe. •Habitación- Limpia, hermosa, de las mejores partes de la inversión. Deben dejar más agua embotellada. Sobre todo considerando que el agua NO es potable y se requiere más para una familia de 4 personas. •Buffet- En 2 ocasiones la comida estaba sumamente fría. Hicimos acercamiento con respeto y lo notificamos. Debemos decir que es la mejor parte del todo incluído, aun con la crítica constructiva de temperaturas. Variedad, mejor sabor… como 7/10. •Restaurantes- NINGUNO tenía el Menú completo. Jamás nos ofrecieron platos con camarones, tampoco ketchup, ni muchas bebidas. Deben hablar con honestidad sobre lo que realmente ofrecen para tener expectativas que concorden con lo que encontraremos. •Mozos- Sosos, inaccesibles, incluso malcríados. Mesas sucias y había pedir varias veces cubiertos o bebidas. •Shows- Pocos, una noche el show de magia jamás comenzó ni dieron explicaciones… se paga por ello. While they are upgrading the property in spme areas, other areas are suffering. Our room wasn't as clean as it should have been, and we had bed bugs in one bed, and that issue took 2 days to resolve. Feels like this resort is ok, but it could be great....

Hi I have stayed last year in Bahia and the year before at Riu Bavaro, I would rate Bahi and Riu 5 stars as the quality of service much higher compared to Nickelodeon, there are no supervisors on ground, the tables were just wash with piece of cloth from table to table without any sanitizer!! All family members including myself get virus with sever pain in stomach. However the water park was good for the kids,

The area around the swimming pool is unbelievable slippery. We witnessed a mother with a child taking a dangerous fall. They have to correct that yesterday, it's an irresponsibility.

En Aquanick en el río lento solo había 3 flotadores para todos los usuarios. Los aspersores, prendidos desde las 8 pm, te mojan al intentar pasar por los pasillos peatonales. La comida es lo PEOR, imposible comer saludable, hasta las verduras tienen mantequilla. Aunque sé que no pague por un servicio como el de Disney, hubiera preferido no gastar en este y mejor usar mi dinero en una experiencia de mejor calidad. Yo no vuelvo a esta propiedad, ni a ninguna del grupo.

First, there were significant sanitation issues at this hotel. Several guests, including myself, experienced symptoms consistent with possible E. coli contamination, which I suspect came from poor hygiene practices at the hotel's food facilities and water sources. This not only caused discomfort, but also resulted in serious health concerns. It is unacceptable that such conditions continue to exist, especially at an all-inclusive resort where hygiene and safety should be the top priority. Furthermore, the management team demonstrated an alarming lack of customer service skills. Despite several attempts by guests to raise concerns about health issues and unsatisfactory service, I was met with indifference and a lack of professionalism. It is clear that management does not prioritize guest concerns or provide adequate support when issues arise. This complete disregard for customer satisfaction only added more frustration and disappointment to my stay. As a result of the unsanitary conditions and poor service, I was forced to spend additional money to change hotels. We moved to the Bahia Principe Fantasia, which turned out to be a far superior hotel in every respect. The difference between the two hotels could not have been more apparent. Bahia Principe Fantasia offered excellent service, clean and safe facilities, and a level of professionalism that Nickelodeon Punta Cana completely lacked. A Great Family-Friendly Resort with Room for Improvement We had a wonderful 10-day stay at the Nickelodeon Resort, which is overall a fantastic option for families. The resort offers plenty of activities to keep kids entertained, and the property itself is relatively new, with luxurious and comfortable suite options that make for a relaxing stay. There are numerous food options, and most of the meals were delicious. The staff deserves a special mention for being exceptionally helpful and friendly throughout our visit. However, there are a few areas that could use improvement. The check-in process was slow and inefficient, which was a bit of a rough start. Additionally, the room toiletries were not refreshed regularly; we had to call multiple times just to get basics like soap refilled. Dining at the fine-dining restaurants can be a challenge, as it sometimes takes a long time to get a table, and food can take 30-40 minutes to arrive, which can be frustrating. Food hygiene is another concern. Unfortunately, some members of our group caught a stomach bug, which we suspect was from the food or drinks. This is something the resort should address to ensure the safety and well-being of guests. Despite these issues, the overall experience was very positive, and the kids had a blast. With a bit more attention to detail, this resort could be exceptional.

The resort was half empty, yet the pool bar ran out of tequila and there were no pool towels available after 3 pm. The only option for breakfast was the buffet. Each restaurant closed for one day yet it was not indicated which closed on what day. Restaurants opened at 5:30 pm but it was first come first eat. So if we arrived at 6 pm, we were told to come back at 8 pm. The spacewalker restaurant was the only one that took reservations. The room was cleaned daily and most of the resort was clean. However it was clearly showing signs of neglect (loose pool tiles), loose handles on patio doors that didn’t lock, general wear and tear. Most bothersome was the noise in the hallways… people talking (not overly loud) could easily be heard, meaning the doors/walls had little sound barrier. Too many little things not up to par for a 5 star resort.

Isn’t worth it for just a waterpark with statues

I would say save your money and go to any other nice all inclusive food with a waterpark, because this was not it. The amount we spent for basically sub par food and just a waterpark wasn’t worth it. We’d be better off staying at a great wolf lodge and eating some great food nearby that. The amount you pay for flights,traveling and then the resort itself isn’t worth the cost. I would say Cancun has better service (staff is more friendly and goes out of their way to accommodate you). The shows in the evening are better. The food is better there as well.

There is a lot of things not included example family slime time, ninja turtle dinner. Not all items on restaurant menus available, did not have much signage related to food allergies (family member has nut allergy and no signage), 50/50 if staff understand English. Bar tender at the show lounge was excellent, kids water park was good, rooms very spacious and clean.

Definitely not a five-star hotel. They kept running out of all kinds of things. One day the resort didn't have ketchup. The next day they didn't have Dominican rum. Getting a glass of water was was a challenge almost every day. Service was generally poor and if you didn't speak Spanish you were very obviously a second class or third class visitor. Our two families couldn't get water and juice for the kids for almost any meal while most of them ask for it in English. The waiters even took the glasses of water off of our table, right in front of the kids stealing the kids cups, and gave it to another table of Spanish speaking tourists. This sort of thing happened almost every day until I spoke up in Spanish and all of a sudden we got service. One of our family members went to speak to management, but her response was no espanol and she literally walked away. Every room is supposed to have a concierge, which is a neat thing, except our concierge couldn't even book a dinner. We couldn't book the dinner at the restaurant either. We have to go back to the concierge. A different one said it couldn't be done?! After getting upset about the incompetence of not being able to book a dinner sometime during the week. We weren't picky. Just anytime any day and they still couldn't do it and we got upset and they made it happen but they couldn't get the tomahawk steaks they were advertising. Those were somehow not available. If it wasn't for the beach and the water, I'd give1 star.

Excellent time with my family

We had a really nice time with our young children at this resort! The staff are very friendly and genuinely show that they care! The grounds are clean and well cared for. The water park is great attraction! Our rooms were good size and well cleaned daily! We enjoyed the kid focused evening entertainment and really appreciated the level of engagement the kids had every night. However, we found that the resort lacks dining options and could use a revamp in the food department and was our only issue during our stay. This is not to say that we didn't eat well, their were several fun and flavorful meals but we would have appreciated more variety in restaurant options as well as healthier choices! The beach could have been cleaner - we founds cups, straws, and other sorts of small pieces of garbage in and on the sand everyday during our 7 day trip/ this bothered us because we spent our days at the beach! Also, the non affiliated vendors are obnoxious and honestly we felt constantly disturb by someone every 10 minutes to buy something. Overall, we had a great time and we're glad we went!!

It was the worst place i have ever stay the food was low quality all the staff was rude in all of the restaurants they where always missing dishes i try ordering a cheese cake and they where out i show up the next day and they told me the same thing i would never go back to this place or recommend it to anybody you get bad service and low quality food for the amount of money that i paid for

Good all around, need to improve in food and beverage services.

Overall very nice hotel, the cleaning staffs assigned to our building were nice and professional but unfortunately most staff including waiters didn't speak or understand English. The doors of the rooms in our building needed force to be closed therefore there were constantly loud banging noise. Sometimes we couldn't find bed in the water park and not enough hotel big floaties for the lazy river but there was always lots of beds at the main pool by the beach. The food was either over cooked or under and under seasoned but at least in the buffet we could find one or two things we liked. The buffet breakfast was excellent. Everything was in close distance and the entertainment was exceptional. Very kind & family friendly.

Great service

This was our worst experience in the Dominican Republic and we have traveled annually for 20 years. Stay away from this resort. They ran out of liquor for several days. We experienced flooding in our room. Restaurant options were limited and many items on the menu weren't available. Waits for towels went from 40 minutes to just never getting towels. Many workers didn't really want to work and seem to be frustrated with management. We are still fighting with the resort to try and make things right. Special note, if you decide not to listen to the review and book the resort anyway. At least book directly with the resort. Expedia is completely useless is trying to assist in any resolution. They just keep telling you they need time, but it's a delay tactic until you just give up and accept defeat. I will not use Expedia going forward because they don't look out for their members.

The combination of the location and the weather created an ideal setting for our stay. The staff were wonderful, demonstrating a caring attitude and working diligently to accommodate all our requests. However, it seemed that they could benefit from additional support. Regarding the dining options, we found that the buffet was the best choice overall. Not all of the restaurants met our expectations and some could use a bit more attention and care. Overall, if you can find a good deal, this place is worth visiting, especially for families with children, as they are likely to have a great time. Jery was particularly helpful in ensuring we had the best experience possible during our stay. He went above and beyond by providing exemplary service, assisting us with our room setup, and making reservations at the restaurants. While there were a few aspects of the room that required better maintenance, the hospitality we received more than made up for these issues. We were also very appreciative of Ms. Ana P. she and the rest of the staff work hard and serve us with care. Our daughter had a wonderful time, and we plan to return in the future.

Great resort

Dec 2024 Just got back. Read ALOT of reviews before going and was really concerned(been to over 100 destinations with work) Ignore the reviews and just go. Its was all great. We went for some sun, beach but mainly an entertaining place for our young kids and it checked all the boxes! Great job Nickelodeon

Great staff

The staff were pretty good. The room were good too. But the hotel, organization and activity for kids. It wasn’t good at all. The shows were cheaply made always running after the characters the buffet wasn’t made for kids if you’re looking for a hotel for your kids go somewhere else had 100 times better experience in for my kid Royalton Mexico than this place. Not worth the money
