Very hot room till told to open window

This hotel is literally in front of the Pisa train station which was very convenient. A mile away from the Pisa tower.

The building was very old and tough to find outlets.

Room is big, modern, comfy and conducive for relaxation. Close to train station. Staff excellent customer service

Had an outdated feel to it , only one bath towel for two people, the shower plug wouldn’t drain , it was very expensive for what we paid. €160 for the night

Ideal location for Pisa station

We only stayed overnight after flying in to Pisa airport and the travelling on to Arezzo by train the next morning. The NH is in an ideal location opposite the train station if you are travelling on. The reception rooms have been refurbished to a high standard, but the bedroom looked a bit tired.

The property is litteraly across the street from the train station and an easy walk through town. It is very nice and well mantained. Breakfast was very good - lots of options.

The general area was nice, renovated and clean. Staff were very helpful and gave us good recommendations for dinner. Rooms need to be renovated and upgraded especially the bathroom. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Location is great if you need to be close to the train station.

Clean and comfortable rooms but rooms need update. Old electrics and plumbing which was loud and bath connection did not work. Carpets in hall ways marked na ddirty

The room needed painting and had kits of mosquitoes, the a/c was asthmatic and barely blew any air at all

Stay was excellent, just opposite the station so very practical. Staff were great, gave us a free upgrade and the room was huge and clean.

Good location. Basically hotel lobby and room are in quite different condition. Furnitures inside room got lots of damaged spots. Bathroom’s condition is quite difficult to comment at all. Personal opinion: if you think NH is a branded chain hotel, maybe this facility needs a complete renovation to meet NH brand images.

Super convenient hotel for a one-night stay near the train station! It's ~10-15 minutes from key areas and restaurants in Pisa, and about ~20-25min to the Tower. The room was spacious and in good condition, and staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the Wifi signal was not great in our room itself so we had to move to the lobby area to do some work and take a call.

dirty and old

The staff at the hotel was nice, I was able to check in early after getting in on an early flight. For the most part, the room was clean but just very run down. When I first got in, I had to wash what appeared to be a silverfish down the bathtub drain. The wallpaper and ceiling is cracking and stained. There is no control over AC in the room, despite there being a thermostat. The bed was fine, not very comfortable. One of the two twins pushed together was a couple of inches lower than the other, and they were on wheels so a large gap kept opening up between them. Location was convenient in terms of traveling, right across from the train station. There’s no bar/lounge, just a self service fridge in the lobby. Probably wouldn’t stay here again in Pisa, definitely not 4-star quality.

NH hotel was in a very convenient location access to train station easily and walk distance to Pisa Leaning tower. I wish the Hotel offered dining restaurant.

We were greeted by a woman that was absolutely fantastic while we were here. She met our needs she spoke English enough that we could understand each other.

Hot in Pisa, hard to get a Taxi

On arrival we were greeted so nicely. Our rm was ready early too. He got a taxi for us to go to tower. We got stuck at the tower for 2 + hrs and calling the taxi service. Actually got our same driver who kinda argued to take us back to hotel. It was so hot . Could not find nearby good food. All fast food . Stayed in our room until breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was wonderful. We walked around the corner and found dresses to buy to wear. Easy to walk across to train to Lucca.

It was just all “ok”. We were only Staying one final night at End of holiday for convenience for the airport. Checkin was fine, member was helpful in directing us where to go around town Made a point that we hadn’t purchased breakfast (didn’t know) No one around to checkout this morning but advised we couldn’t just leave the cards by a cleaning member. Waited around 10 minutes as seemed to have interrupted their breakfast break Couldn’t get the tv to change channels Bathroom light constantly flickers when on, neither bad enough for us to speak to reception though. Was a functional stay overall and was fine

Fine but needs some maintenance

A nice modern hotel right by Pisa station. Some of the lower quality materials are showing their age eg the mechanism to open / close the bath plug was broken, the chrome has been scratched off the taps, the surround for the bathroom mirror was loose. Nothing too fundamental - everything else was fine

Nice hotel, clean, good rooms and in a good location. Very easy to get to from the Airport via the PisaMover. We walked to all Pisa attractions from the hotel.

This hotel was horrible. It was like a 1 star hotel

Very convenient location. Across from the train station and 11 minute walk to main attractions. Lots of restaurant options around the hotel.

The flooring was old and dirty and it looked like some of the pieces were missing on the the door frame and transition. Additionally, there were almost no outlets to charge our electrical devices. For example, we had to unplug the television to charge our phone. Granted, the Hotel staff did say it was the last room available for the night. However, we just weren’t expecting that for $175, we would be getting that poor of a room.

This hotel was very good. It was close to the railway station which was convenient and only about 20 minutes walk to the City centre.

Great hotel for Pisa

We requested a high floor quiet room and the hotel delivered exactly that. Very impressed. Staff were fantastic, especially Jolanda on reception who couldn’t do enough to help. Location is fantastic as opposite train station and we wanted to explore Tuscany so this made it easy. Could not hear the trains or traffic at all, just the odd emergency services siren.

Very handy location for the train station and Airport/PisaMover. Also not too far a walk into the historic part of Pisa. Stayed here twice now, perfect location for a one or two night stay before travelling on by train to other areas of Italy.

Worst part about the stay is that they have a staff member who is extremely rude, doesn’t comprehend English very well (but doesn’t even try to understand what the other person is saying ) and he’s extremely extremely arrogant with an attitude problem I wanted to print some train tickets as my phone was not functioning and he was extremely unhelpful that I decided it’s easier to go to the train station and figure it out there

Good location

The best location if you travel by train to anywhere in Italy, and also every 10 mins train to the airport cost €6.5 each. Actually I would stay in this hotel if come to Pisa.

Air conditioning didn’t work and my window opened onto a noisy road but otherwise the room and hotel were nice.

Check went alright. Staff was having a long conversation with the manager so had to wait. Literally across the street from the train station so location was perfect. Water and candy welcome treats were a nice touch. Did notice some strong perfume/air freshener throughout the hotel common areas. Room 305. AC was not working so room was stuck at 24C. Booked triple but only got 2 twin beds pushed together. Only there for 1 night so it was adequate and wasn't worth our troubles to correct. Room and washroom was clean. Shower panel isn't sealed so the bottom of the tub gets wet when you shower. Beds were a bit squishy but still ok. Just a bit worn. Furniture dates the room a bit. Paint is worn and chipped.

Great location!

Decent hotel for a stay in Pisa. Across the road from the rail station, and less than 20 minutes walk to the airport if your traveling light! Only 20 minutes walk to the leaning tower via the old town too! Despite its location the top floor rooms on the front of the hotel are quiet as they have two sets of doors onto the balcony. Rooms are average size but well equipped with tea coffee, safe and minbar. Note there is only breakfast served at the hotel and the bar is a self service offering from reception. Not a problem though with the vast array of restaurants and bars nearby.

Great location, but I wouldn’t say this was a 4 star hotel. My small room was average at best, not sound-proofed - nothing that says 4 star in my opinion. Nice selection at breakfast though.

Nice overnight stay

Hotel is close to train station for Florence or Pisa airport. Town centre is small but sufficient for a day with the Tower a good 20mins walk. Hotel is comfortable and spacious. Dated bathrooms in need of modernisation. Lacks tea and coffee facilities in the room otherwise a nice overnight stay

I have stayed here numerous times and the place and staff are nice. The issue is their air conditioning policy. The rooms are like ovens reaching 28C at night. The air conditioning will not enable until the summer months and when I complained about the crazy room temperatures they just sent someone up who told me to open my window. This is fine but you get inundated with mosquitoes. Today I woke up with an additional mosaic of mosquito bites for the 6th day in a row. If you can’t stand sleeping in very hot rooms then give this hotel a miss as they refuse to do anything about enabling the air conditioning, or at the least allowing the fan to circulate some air. Frustrating, as the place is nice and convenient if you work in Pisa like I do. Last time I’m staying here though!

Friend trip

It is in a great location. When you walk out of the train station the hotel is right in front of you. The rooms are a little older but the staff was very friendly and helpful.

While staying at your hotel I asked the staff to help me book at the Genoa nh same chain branch but they were unhelpful.I asked 3 times deferent staff

Very clean and comfortable basic hotel

The hotel is well maintained. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable with nice fluffy pillows & good mattresses, but it’s quite basic. No kettle in room. Glasses for 2, we were in a room for 3 - small things. It was very clean though. The 24 hour bar is basically a fridge in reception where you can pay cash at reception. Reception staff are a bit miserable. Breakfast was lovely and fresh - they had fresh pastries, coffees, different types of milks, salad, fruit, eggs, roasted veg, 2 days sausages. No complaints there whatsoever, staff in there also pleasant. Rooms had safes in the wardrobe. Hotel is located directly opposite train station and we travelled about a bit on train (which was very efficient & reasonable), so perfectly placed to visit other locations. Also very easy to get to hotel on airport shuttle train to Pisa central’s station (5€ each) or we paid 17€ in a taxi as we landed after midnight.

Clean room - that's all. terrible bathroom

Business trip 3 days for conference. Clean room but confused on why this place is 4*. Very out of date not as described polite but service isn't great. There is an ironing room but no iron for the hotel room. Savoury food selection wasn't great for breakfast Fully self serve and coffee machine but staff didn't even take name or seat etc most days. Dangerous bathroom , broken shower rails pieced together using tape and held by glueing a drain plug on the wall and the chain connected to broken key ring. The shower is placed facing the shortest width of the bath tub and the curtain doesn't reach the bath tub so it's not safe, the whole bathroom got soaked water on the floor so all towels to be used Broken tiles by toilet under the sink.walls so thin. Asked twice to be changed to a room but they kept saying the previous colleague never put it in the system. only this could be done in day time and even before check in told there were no rooms available. I had packed my bag ready for it to be moved. Yes it's clean but a hotel should be clean by default. I double checked photos on Google, my colleagues were given ok rooms refurbished. I wouldn't stay here again. Roulette on a room paid a lot for - as it's close to the station and a tourist place they don't care as they have high turn over

Basic hotel and not bad for the price, we only booked as we need to be close to the train station. Room was clean but in need of repair - holes in the wall, sink plugs stuck closed, plug socket falling off.

Do not stay here if you can help it. The condition of the property is awful, everything in the rooms is worn/damaged and old fashioned. Needs a major refurb. Asked at the reception if they had any new rooms and they did not, however Expedia app was showing available rooms? Only good thing about the hotel is the location, walking distance to main shops/restaurants/sights.

Fine but not accommodating for infants

Clean room bit of road noise but good location for one night to get from the airport on the shuttle. Arrived around 10pm from flight with our infant. Requested a travel cot however was refused as the receptionist said they could not leave the reception desk to get it nor advise us how to get it. So not a great night's sleep. Disappointed that the customer service was not better in this instance.

Well located opposite the train station but a bit basic - no bar or restaurant. Good base for visiting Pisa and quick connections to the airport or other towns via rail. Not sure how this is rated as 4* - fairly clean and comfortable but no facilities.

Do not book here. There was no AC in the room. And no staff to help. We called the front desk multiple times, used their “app” to request help. Either we couldn’t reach anyoneee. And when we did finally reach someone they said someone would come to fix the problem, and no one ever came. Additionally don’t plan to stay on a weekend as staff said there’s no manager. Apparently this is the norm in Italy according to them. So they cannot get anything done on the weekend because it’s all dependent manager approval…. If I could rate this hotel a negative, I would.

Great locations.

We stayed here last minute when our flight to Milan was cancelled so we booked Pisa instead. It turned out to be a great find and this hotel was perfect. Very comfortable and walking distance from the airport. Also walkable to the sights.

Nice hotel but some signs of wear in room even though we paid extra for superior room. Housekeeping did not clean room or change towels for some unknown reason.

Opposite the rail station and 25 minute walk to the Pisa compound. Excellent room and breakfast.

Worn out hotel

Lobby and public areas very smart but room very worn out and old, woodwork and paintwork chipped. Carpets in corridors stained and worn. Hotel needs refurb. Breakfast good and staff friendly. NH Pisa well below my previous experience of NH chain hotels

Convenience in Pisa

Great stop-off and convenient for train station and airport. Looks a little tired but generally fine. Good value for a short break

The Hotel was nice and clean, very convenient for walking and very close to the railway station. We were disappointed to hear they had no bar in the Hotel. We thought the breakfast was very expensive, however there was plenty of it. We got the impression it was more of a work/conference venue than a holiday one.

The stay was a massive disappointment. There were no bed stand on either side of the bed, so there was no where to put things on but the dirty floor. no plug sockets apart from the shaver one part room). We had to unplug to charge any device. The bathroom light bulbs wasn’t working and the dark bathroom with the cracked dirty bathtub made the stay very uncomfortable.

Room needs a total overhaul from the floors up. Bed was really uncomfortable. Bathroom needs refurbished also. We were opposite the station the noise was awful. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone despite it being convenient for the train station. Very disappointing end to our holiday. Breakfast expensive also!

Not as expected for a 4 star hotel!!

When we arrived it was nearly 11pm on a Friday, our room was at 15c, we put the heating on and it didn't warm up, the concierge seemed unhappy to move us to another room, but in the end he did after some persuasion, we didn't have a kettle provided in our initial room which seemed odd, when I asked for one he said they don't provide kettles, but when we moved to the replacement room a kettle was already available....so this was a lie.... the new room was so much warmer, actually too hot and we couldn't turn the heating down, the thermostat must have been malfunctioning.....this room had a view of Pisa Central Station but the shower screen wasn't able to contain the water when shut, and frequently overflowed into the bathroom, we mentioned this and they said it's normal..... The breakfast was the best part of the Hotel.....I have stayed in Milan & Madrid NH Hotel's and they were so much better, this hotel needs a better manager to increase quality to a 4 star standard!!
