The room was ok, showing a bit of wear and age. The big window was nice. Check-in wasn't great, I had to wait until exactly 3 pm to check into my room, even though the room was likely ready beforehand. When I asked about Expedia Gold and VIP benefits the staff looked at me like I was from a different planet. Location is good, but there are better, more friendly hotels nearby.

Great location, next to the shopping center, next to a great fum, next to great restaurants, and in walking distance to San Cristobal park for walking and jogging.

The Hotel was very conveniently located and the main lobby area was really great. The food and drink were not expensive. However the rooms and else where in the hotel were very tired and in need of modernisation And the railings in the lifts were smeared I felt I couldn’t hold onto them. Our room was clean but there were chips out of the table and the area around the sink in the bathroom was chipped also. The swimming pool however was great and we really enjoyed swimming after a days sight seeing. The shower rooms were a bit old and worn . All said though we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Santiago and very much looking forward to coming back to the hotel . It was unfortunate that there was a country wide power cut in the middle of our stay although the hotel had there own generator so we weren’t out of power for too long well done

Worst hotel experience of professional life.

Upon arrival at 11 pm, after a long trip, I was informed at the reception of this hotel that there was no room available for me. Note, I had done my check-in through a link provided by the hotel 2 days earlier, where I was even assigned room 701. I was then transferred to another, where in the next morning I was told the truth. My room was given to somebody else coming in a big group in a cruise, completely different from the excuse I received before. I travel constantly around the world, more than 150 nights per year in hotels. In the last month alone I was in Australia, Thailand and Singapore. Never I have been treated with such a low level of respect and complete lack of professionalism. This is a hotel to be avoided at all costs.

Lobby is stunning, room was run down. Noisy even on 16th floor. Pool was ok but only 4 chaise lounges. Mold in shower, peeling paint on ceiling, hole in duvet cover. Mostly upset about the $26usd cab ride the front desk arranged… uber charged $8 for return trip.

It was very good and met our needs, Breakfast and dinner, so-so, nothing out of the ordinary.

The hotel was lovely. The only problem is our room would be hot. We would change the temperature but it would not change.

Excellent staff at the front desk that answered all our questions despite of language barrier. Great hospitality. Will highly recommend and will repeat the stay in the future.

Just OK Hotel

The hotel is NOT a 5-star hotel. The rooms have been refurbished but retain a 1950s vibe. Great location and friendly staff. Breakfast buffet is meh.

Le falta para ser un cinco estrellas. Dan una botella de agua pequeña por habitación y un par de pantuflas. La piscina no está lo suficientemente climatizada y solo hay 4 reposeras, no ofrecen bata de baño y los toallones los dan contados. El personal atiende bien y la calidad y variedad de la comida del desayuno está muy bien. La ubicación es muy buena. Pero por la misma plata hay hoteles en la zona que están mucho mejor.

This is a very centrally located hotel close to the Plaza de Arms and the funicular and many museums!

I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel if you are visiting Santiago! They checked us in early, the rooms were clean and modern, the staff were friendly and the location is central to everything!

Would have rated this hotel 5 Stars except for 2 problems. Everything was good the first 4 days, then downhill fast. Problem #1, AC stopped working and it was hot and very dry. I had to go to work with my distributor. My Wife went and reported it, they did NOTHING. When I came back I went and complained strongly, took them an hour and a half to get another room ready for us ??? Problem #2, AC in new room ok but the Toilet was not fixed to the floor properly and rocked and rolled as if in an earthquake. Again I was out and my Wife Complanied, Nothing done. I went and asked for the hotel manager,he apologized and said it would be taken care of. Maintenance went to the room and played around for awhile, basically the toilet problem remained thge Same ! Good hotel with maintenance issues. Would I stay here Yes, but, I would check out Immediately if things are not right and I would demand a refund and go someplace else.

Thiscis not a 5 star hotel, maybe a 3. The positive part of our stay was they were able to provide us with early check in to a room, but we cannit confirm is was the category we had paid for, since no receipt was ever provided, but after an overnight flight we took whar was given. Small sofa in room was stained, the faux leather headboard was peeling everywhere, there is a nespresso in the room, but you are provided with 3 free pods per stay. There are times that there are no English speaking staff on shift to answer questions.

The perfect Hotel

I've traveled on 6 continents, and this is my favorite hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The location was absolutely perfect!

Property at best is a three star from top to bottom. Service is average. Rooms are good. Definitely not a five star as stated. Breakfast was good. Hotel seems to be understaffed.

Air conditioning temperamental - poor staff support for resolution. Bed soooo high in the air - don’t fall out! Breakfast was good. The didn’t have available shuttle to pick me up from airport- and if they DO it’s $40 one way.

Great location,clean room and a good breakast selection. Only downside was the pool and gym being both out of action.

Reception staff on arrival were excellent. I wish I had taken the young ladies name to give her a recommendation. Breakfast is excellent. Rooms need a bit of a lift but other than that , good friendly staff everywhere. Great location . Good three night stay. 👍😁

Our visit to Santiago was amazing and we had a great time staying at your property. Please send our thank you to Juvenal who was such an amazing staff member and made us feel welcomed every time we stepped in the door and saw him working. He was one of our highlights during our stay at NH Plaza Santiago.

The indoor pool was closed :( but that was okay. The breakfast was amazing!

NH Collection hotels are supposed to be one of the premium category hotels in the NH group and unfortunately this one does not live up to the expectations. The hotel is dated and needs up keeping. The top sheet on the bed was torn, one of the headboards had nicks of material missing, the bathroom had visible mildew and the sink drain did not run properly. That said it sits in a great location, with a mall, restaurants and public transportation at hand. The breakfast was very good, covering plenty of options and staff was friendly and very accommodating.

Best 5 star hotel chain in all of South America

I have been in hotels in different countries all over South America and I will say without a doubt this is the best hotel chain in all of South America hands down. Best service, best equipped, one of the best hotels for breakfast. It has and always will be my first choice for high end hotel accommodations.

Nice clean room, quiet. It cost me $32 for 2 breakfasts that I could have gotten for $14 total in advance. I don't understand that. They were nice about scheduling an airport shuttle but called me at 630am to tell me my car had arrived when I booked it for 630pm

Excelente location, safe and clean.

Junior suite rooms need an upgrade. I requested change of room due to cigarette smell. The other room air conditioning was not working and it has a full blow of air which was cold and was not able to sleep, I requested extra blanket which was not good quality. Only positive I can say for certain is their personnel, everyone was excellent, felt welcome. Please fix air conditioning, it is quite old. Thanks

Very clean and comfortable . Bed was comfortable too.

Room clean and staff amazing but bar and restaurant and terrace all closed. Water for shower was cold and had to call reception to ask to connect the hot water. Breakfast bread options are limites and not fresh. Expensive taxi service to airport, had to requests it externally.

Super staff and modern clean -- GREAT location just across the street from the big mall and lots of great dining options. NO evidence of the demonstrations and protests seen at in the older part of the city. (We stayed there also a the Santiago and much preferred the NH Collection due to the location. However, I like new and modern so I have a somewhat biased opinion. IF you prefer the somewhat more crazy nightlife then the old downtown area maybe for you but if you want clean, SAFE and modern --this is the spot. Would definitely go back to this hotel if I needed to stay in Santiago again.

Stayed at this location twice in two weeks. They were able to arrange early check-in on one occasion and late check-out the other which was greatly appreciated.

We were able to check in by 11:30 but couldn’t get the king bed room. We paid in advance for a “superior” room. Most of the staff was very helpful and friendly. We loved the location & walked to lunch easily.

Santiago, Chile visit

Great location, very centrally, close to shopping and restaurants. Majority staff able to communicate in good English which helped. Very clean Hotel, room was fairly spacious and beds are very comfortable. Will definitely stay here on next visit to Santiago and suggest it to other travelers. Hotel staff is very accommodating. Great location near restaurants and shopping Center

We stayed at the NH Collection Plaza Santiago as we had to move from our planned accommodation in Lastarria, due to the unrest in Santiago. The NH Collection is a big, modern, somewhat soulless business hotel but the rooms were large and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was very good but a set price evening meal was very poor value and poor quality. The bar staff were unskilled and the bar poorly stocked (no gin!) but the reception staff were very helpful.

Everything was GREAT at this EXCELLENT Hotel. People and service is AWESOME!
