The place was great! It has so many things to do like darts, foosball, indoor soccer, big weightroom, and a happy hour everyday! The rooms were small, but the beds were comfy.

Definitely a fun hostel vibe. Hard to find the check in (as the quick check in was not working for us), but we were helped by staff once we were noticed. The hostel had/has LOTS of events and things to do in the massive building. It was lively (too much at times with rowdy drunk "kids" - under 25), and busy even in the winter. Had many amenities and I was sad we could attend some of the events being held, but overall it was in a good location re: the train station. The room was vey tight, though had some nice design for baggage; it was a bit cramped for us (as a couple in a private room with a bathroom), but worked for the night! The rooftop deck and bar was closed for the time we were there, which was annoying since there was no heads up or signs, but it also was rainy and cold!

If you are a solo traveler, definitely consider staying here in Copenhagen. It’s a 10 minute walk from København H train station and a 30 minute walk to Nyhavn/the shopping district. Plus, the hostel offers breakfast and dinner (although you have to pay) and daily activities like karaoke, beer pong, etc. It’s super fun, and I felt completely safe.

Good location, great atmosphere, would stay again

Next House Copenhagen is one of the best hostels I've ever had the pleasure of lodging in. The atmosphere was busy yet fun, the price was extremely fair, the room was clean & the location was perfect. I only have a few suggestions that I feel would make the guests feel even better, such as 1) designated laundry drop box/area for used linens & towels 2) an extra floor towel/mat left daily to use for the floor right outside the shower bc the floor is wet after showers 3)a microwave guest can use in the lobby to heat PURCHASED items from your bar area (the cookies & muffins were ice cold both days that I bought them).

The property was great, but the bicyclists who use the streets nearby will blast through red lights and get angry at you for crossing the street even when you have right of way. Hostel staff was very nice but the people in the city are less so, at least in our experience. People who are nice are very nice, others not so much.

My hostel of choice in Copenhagen

I've stayed here before and will stay again. It's a great place with lots going on. Great for solo travelers with meet ups and city tours as well as general party nights in the bar. Lots of room to sit and chill as well. Its 5 - 10 minute walk from the central train station and you can also get the 5C bus from the airport from directly outside the hostel. Both times I've stayed, I've been in a 4 bed female dorm. Really comfy beds :-) Unfortunately this time, my bedding had not been changed when I arrived. Only realised when I was in bed and found bits of dry rice in the bed! I told reception next day and they apologised but didn't say they would get the bedding changed. Did seem to have been changed two nights into my 3 night stay. I'm a little older than a lot of the guests (although there are guests of all ages - families / couples / groups and solos) and sleep a little earlier that most and I think in future I'll ask for an upper floor. I was on first floor this time and could hear the music. Although I have had a few negatives on this trip, its wont deter me staying again. The positives outweigh the negative :-) Food in the cafe is fab.

Fun and social hostel

Next House had nice bunks, clean washrooms, towels and lockers were included. There were so many social areas in the building, including quiet reading spaces, games areas, bars with great prices, a fitness area, yoga studio, and football space. There is a rooftop garden and kitchen but I didn’t use it. They organized activities every day of the week including a free social meetup beer and some dinners you can sign up and pay for. It was well located and easy to catch a bus or train from.

Amazing luxury hostel

I love everything about this stay. It was luxury and definitely had all ages staying there. The only thing I didn’t like about this stay is the fact that the all you can eat pizza buffet kept running out of pizza. The pizza was a 4/10 not worth $18 usd and some change. Save your money don’t waste it on the buffet. They don’t have enough cooks for the amount of people getting pizza. Btw, my room was on the 1st floor and I could hear the music on my floor which was terrible.

I think their towel policy makes no sense. First they charged me 25 krona for a new towel and then they put new towel for everyone in the room. Charging for a new towel in a hostel where people need to be more aware of hygiene is a bad and cheap policy.

Mega institutional hostel with hotel amenities like a gym. Clean and modern. Walking distance to main train station and has 2 bus stops just outside of the building. I wished luggage storage was free but at least it's reasonably priced (20 DKK / 3 hours).

The Nexthouse is a 5minute walk from Central Station and in the Heart of the city. Great place to social and to meet new people.

Hostel with comfort of a hotel

The hostel was exactly as advertised more like a hotel for room comfort and private bathroom but with all the extra activities of a hostel. Location was close to central station and the water for an early dip. Bars and food reasonably priced for Copenhagen. Would definitely stay there again.

Hard to close the door when you go out. Water splashing to the outside when taking a shower. Rooms direction needs on corners. Accept cash when buying drinks on the top floor. I want to spend more but payment is by card only. I have left over Krona that I want to spend but not able to.

Cool place, cool people, great prices, near the train station

They charge you way higher than big hotels to store your luggage. I got the highest floor. The dj was so loud, the room was so hot. I could not sleep before 1am. It is amazing place for 20ish age.

This Hostel is great for solo travelers. They run tours, solo traveler dinners, and other events that make it easier to meet people. It has a great location, friendly staff, and more amenities than I've ever seen in a hostel before. I would love to stay here again.

Very close to the train station, about a 6 minute walk. My only complaint is that the rooms are too small. There are no big lockers in the room so you have to store your luggage in the basement and pay for a locker.

Nice place to stay to walk to main points of interest. Easy access. Parking was a little challenging but finally got a place in front after a bit of waiting. We were only there one night but perfect for us as a group of 4 with our own room.

Loved the social aspect of the hostel! It was very easy to meet other solo travellers so for anyone that is solo travelling, I highly recommend it, especially going for the hostel hour and dinner. The only thing is that the showers do flood into the bathroom area even tho there’s doors and they charge extra for almost everything.

The hostel itself was beautiful, felt like a nice modern hotel. The rooms/beds were very tiny and extremely hot with no fans being offered by the front desk which was probably the only downfall. Kitchen was big and beautiful but the hostel is so big and family oriented that it was practically impossible to cook during mealtimes. Good location with pretty much everything being walkable.

It was exactly what I was expecting though ther were a lot of youbg people there were also families which was surprising.

The hotel was close to the train staion and about 10 - 12 minutes walk to Tivoli garden. Safe neighborhood even we were out walking almost midnight. We did not try their meals. Lots of activities that the hostel has for everyone (we did not partake to any). As it was a hostel lots of people in and out.

More than just a Hostel. Love it. Breakfast was good and the bars were great. I was in a 4 bed female room. Really comfy beds. Only downside was that the eatery had pizza every night i was there. However plenty of places to eat within walking distance. I'll be back!

Good hotel, bad service

Stay was fine. The reason for my 1-star was the fact that I had to buy a lock for my locker, since I could not find mine. I finally found mine 4 hours later and tried to return the lock I had just purchased and get a refund and was terribly treated at reception. The guy literally said: you bought it, it is your problem. That ruined the experience for me.

It's good that is near to central station, staff are very nice and helpful. No problems with check in.

Water not beer please

The staff was horrible arguing over charging us for hot water. However, a free tap beer which I do not like beer was apparently included. The room so small, to pivot with another person in the room was nearly impossible and I am a small person. I feel this should be disclosed. I would never stay there again

We've never stayed in a hostel before - we will again! This was stunning, room was small, but clean and comfortable. Facilities were excellent and staff were great. Fantastic experience.

Relaxing Urban Stay

The 4-female dom I stayed is quiet, clean and calm which I apprecaite very much. The location is close to central station and sea which is perfect to any iconic spots in Copenhagen. Although I didn't have chance to participate in the variety of events held in the hostel, the energetic vibe and spacious common area with contemporary design really cheer up my stay. Friendly staff is another highlight. Great thanks for providing such cozy place to stay!

I like that they have a luggage storage for a fee that u can safely leave ur stuff. One is free to go around the city without the burden of bringing the luggage so no time wasted. The room has clean and comfortable sheets. There is a variety of food for breakfast. Don’t go far either because use they also have dinner options that are way affordable than dining outside.

Really nice place. Bed was very comfortable. The environment was welcoming and hostel hosts a lot of events for solo travelers to network and meet others.

Amazing hostel

My partner and I stayed in one of the private rooms and whilst it was small it was fine for a weekend stay with storage under the bed. The communal facilities are brilliant with a roof top bar, games, multiple bars and just overall an amazing vibe. People of all different ages which was cool to see. Lots of events on every day of the week including roof top parties, sports and walking tours. Id happily come back here in a heart beat.

We booked last minute on Expedia and paid quite a lot for the room for 2 nights. Booked a 4 bedded room as a private room as we travel with our little daughter. The cleanliness was questionable as we found a round container with tobacco in the cabinet (not ours) and also brown stains in the cabinet below (wiped it with wet wipe easily). Also stained sides of the bed, shower didn’t drain properly. Wanted to store milk in the fridge for our daughter and then heat it up in the microwave - were told we have to pay to use the kitchen. Given we have already paid quite a lot for the hostel room due to low availability in the city. This time price was even higher than during Eurovision week. Found it so unacceptable to charge for the kitchen use given that we already paid more than most guests of the hotel. At least they could have let us use the kitchen free of charge as we travel with little child who needs warm milk before bed. Also, the room 1010 was on a ground floor and despite not being properly cleaned on the inside, the window was filthy with lots of spider webs and spiders - we couldn’t open the window for some fresh air. We asked for a higher floor so we could open the window but the staff said - no availability while Expedia said there were another 4 private rooms available. Had overall impression that the staff just couldn’t be bothered helping or solving our issues. Unacceptable service, very disappointing.

The atmosphere of the hostel was amazing! I was surprised at the mix of types of people and groups but I think that was quite nice and it created a great communal vibe. I really recommend this place to stay with friends as it has so much to do there in the day and evening too!

Strictly 3 pm check in, not a minute early. No free baggage storage if you want to store your bag before check in or after checkout. Lockers are for rent for 3, 6 and 24 hours. Dorm beds are not alligned with privacy. Personal lights in the bed affects others. I find this place expensive for sharing.

The room was quite dirty. White walls with lots of dirtiness and stains around the bed. The floor’s bedroom seemed hasn’t been swept off. It is an interesting place with many amenities and leisure-recreational fields/areas to hang out or relaxing. It is well located, easy access to the touristic points.

This Hostel is located very closed to the central station. There is also a bus that goes to the airport next to the front door. It is very clean and has a lot of activities everyday. However the rooms are very small, and hot.

The roof top garden , waiting area , bus to airport just outside hotel cost 30DM , don’t like bathroom towel change every 3 days , need to be change every others day better , the bathroom shower water leaking the floor wet but no others towel to dry , dangerous. We stayed for 4 days

My group of 4 in a 4 person private door room was great. The cleanest hostel I have ever stayed at. The most facilities I have ever seen at a hostal. The only thing I would say is that due to the size we found it hard to meet people as it seems more like a Hotel the Hostal. However for what you get for the price I would return.

This is a very flexible and accommodating place to stay, we loved it- just beware the extra fees for using many of their facilities.

The team at next hostel made us feel welcome from the start. Rooms are clean and comfortable, food was great. There are so many activities available, lots of games in communal areas, great music playing and a very well equipped gym. We would definitely stay there again.

Great price and it had everything at it and very close to the train station and Tivoli food hall. Public transportation is close with Copenhagen all around you within walking distance!

Amazing.

A sight for the eyes and even a great experience overall. Photos don't do justice to how colorful and imaginative the space is. As a family, I appreciated the privacy of the pods as I slept with my wife and toddler. And it was both whimsical, functional, and HIGHLY accessible both into and out of Central Copenhagen.
