My first time at a “guest house” so not aware of the fact that there is no staff on site whatsoever except for designated check ins/outs. No amenities, no receptionist, no housekeeping, no security, etc. I left a shirt behind by mistake and couldn’t go back to pick it up because the housekeeping staff was on site for only a few hours and the receptionist was on site only when someone was checking in…not for a shift (9-3) for example. Extra firm (hard) beds and no noise protection from guests coming in at all hours. You just have to hope they are polite. Having said that, the property is in a good location and if one is familiar with guest house accommodations, it would be acceptable.

Un pernottamento in suite familiare

Albergo carino, pulito e vicinissimo al centro. Camere spaziose, anche il bagno spazioso e provvisto di bidet ( cosa non da poco per noi italiani). Il proprietario molto gentile e disponibile. Unica pecca: il terzo letto era una brandina molto bassa e corta. Tutto il resto è ok.

Location of property is paramount. Cute restaurants and stores within walking distance. Reception hours can be troublesome if you had a late flight. Also, there are no USB outlets. My friend and I were in a true bind with the outlets.

Absolutely amazing!

A fantastic guesthouse which really feels like your own home. The check in and attention to detail were wonderful whilst the roof terrace is a hidden gem.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay, the whole experience was fabulous, the hotel was in a very good area surrounded with fabulous little restaurants (youll be spoiled for choice 😋) spotless clean beautiful chic bedrooms , owner's are very friendly & helpful and accommodating, there is also a beautiful sun terrace that you can use also.Already booked to go back next year 😎😎

Best in Portimao

The location was just what we needed, quiet but with easy access to food and trips to the algarve. The room was new, modern and chic, looking for a 5 star place for a two star price? you have found it!!!! The manager was very hospitable and welcoming, Mr de Sousa is the best would definitely stay there again and highly recommend.

A/C was not functioning well, with Windows open very noisy at night. Could use a coffee maker. Welcoming host, easy check-in, nice room.

Quiet, location, room size, nice shower and nice bed and decor Room needs a dreasing table or desk and possibly a sofa/sofa bed {for third person) this room was big enough for both..

Good location - no staff at all so more like renting a rental from owner, no problem if you are expecting that. No place to relax if inclement weather. Lovely roof top terrace but cannot be used in the rain and no place to really sit in the room. Sparse, but modern and clean.

Good Value in Portimao

Overall a very positive experience. The room was lovely and finished to a very high spec, staff were super-friendly and the location is excellent, very close to all the bars/restaurants. My room was small which as a solo traveller was fine but may be a bit tight for a couple. It was a holiday period and coverage on reception waa limited meaning there was nobody to check me out when I left. Good value for money, though.

We loved the terrace above and that it was close to restaurants and shops. We arrived on Sunday, the lady who checked us in was super helpful and she outined the important details of the room even though we knew very little Portuguese. Beds were comfy. Thank you! 😃

Wish we could have stayed.....

Don't know how the hotel was because we arrived one hour after the front desk closed for the night (7:00pm was when it closed and we arrived just after 8:00pm) and when we tried to call, there was no answer. There is no on street parking at all as this is in a major urban area with narrow streets in a sketchy area of town. Call ahead to insure you know the lay of the land here!

Nice small hotel with a good bathroom. The hotel staff were nice and the location was very close to Praia da Rocha by taxi or a good walk

We were very happy with our stay in NDS the accommodation was excellent, the room was clean and everything was new can not fault anything. Our thanks go to the owner who waited our arrival after his usual closing time as we had had to stop on route to change a flat tyre. We were very grateful and enjoyed our stay.

Small boutique guest house in the old quarter

When I arrived at the hotel Nuno and his partner were arriving at the same time. So check in was really a breeze. The room is very spacious and facing the small street. Nuno is very friendly and accommodating. I had a very restful sleep because the bed is King size, and the pillows are not too saggy. You can also regulate the room temperature with a remote control.

Great room and location

Great small hotel in the local area of Portimao. The room was spacious and the beds are comfortable. The hotel is close to good local restaurants and the bus station. The manager also let us check out a couple hours later for no extra cost which was very kind.

A comfortable & clean stay!

My sister and I enjoyed our stay here. It is clean, comfortable, and the general manager is kind and accommodating. Due to last minute travel plan changes, we had to check-in after 7pm and the manager was kind enough to check us in later. But please, if you do have to check in after 7pm make sure to call ahead! This is a small family owned hotel so there is no one working after 7pm unless otherwise warned. Thanks Nou Nou for a great stay :)

Nice clean quiet and comfort right by the center

The hotel is brand new and nicely decorated. The Terrace offers a nice comfartable seats to relax with shade structure, room is very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The management was very helpful through out our stay, recommended to anyone who plans to visit portimao!

Perfect new guesthouse in Portimao

NDS Prestige Guesthouse and Suites is everything a guesthouse should be. It is well located, only 2 blocks from the riverfront and many cafes/restaurants. NDS is a new guesthouse, only open for ~1 month. The owner, Nuno, greeted us on arrival with all the paperwork ready for a quick check-in. Nuno is a very gracious host and he showed genuine interest in making our stay as pleasant as possible. NDS is small, only 6 rooms, and the one which we were in was excellent. Everything is brand new and finished to a high standard. We had a true kingsize bed with crisp sheets, 2 opening windows, excellent A/C and a fantastic bathroom. I highly recommend NDS Prestige Guesthouse and Suites to anyone and will certainly return the next time I am in Portimao.

A beautiful new hotel near to town

It is a beautiful hotel that is close to town and near the water, it is affordable and has great service. When we arrived, Nunu the owner eagerly greeted us. He invited us in like family and was clearly very proud of his new hotel (built in 2017). He showed us to our room, gave us suggestions on where to go not only in Portimao but also in the Algarve.The room was truly beautiful; it was nicely furnished, brand new and perfectly clean. When we saw the place we were blown away and wanted to stay an extra night. The hotel is small and quaint, with a roof top patio and all modern furnishings. We highly recommend it and would definitely return!

Root and obnoxious staff

Completely lack of service and even rood. Forgot my jacket there and asked if they could send it to me which they could. But in their response they wrote that I forgot to close the window in now they have to close down the room for several days (don't know why they had to do that) and wash the curtains and what not. I very often leave the window open after showering. Both in hotels and at home. I never had any complaints from other hotels about this (have almost 400 nights on hotels.com alone.) This was really an surreal experience!

O Nuno nos recebeu no horário, foi muito atencioso, ajudou com as malas, com a questão de estacionar o carro. O lugar é incrível, super bem localizado próximo a vários restaurantes e pontos turísticos, conta com um Rooftop para relaxar e contemplar a noite. Super recomendo!

Très beau guesthouse, très bon rapport qualité prix, accueil formidable de la part du gérant et disponible 24/24. Néanmoins si vous comptez rester une semaine ou + pensez à prendre shampoing et gel douche car si vous finissez les petits flacons vous n’en aurez plus pour la suite du séjour. Dernier point dérangeant la situation de la chambre qui nous empêchait d’ouvrir les rideaux car exposée au regard des gens qui montent sur le roof top (chambre Praia Da Rocha). Si c’était à refaire je choisirai le même guesthouse, bravo pour votre accueil et la propreté des lieux !

Estadia horrorosa. Fomos bastante maltratados, em todos os aspectos. Falta de atenção e gentileza com hóspedes que vieram de outro país. Tratam mal aos brasileiros.

Não fique neste inferno

Chegomos em Algarve 9h da noite , o Hotel estava fechado sem ninguém na recepção. Ligamos e falamos com o proprietário .. Falamos que o nosso voo atrasou por isso chegamos fora no horario de 19h .e perguntando se poderia abrir a porta para passarmos nossa noite que ja estava paga. Ele simplesmente disse que não poderia qye teriamos que dormir na rua. So iria abrir 9h da manhã. Como no contrato estavamos arrasados assumimos o prejuízo sem problemas. No dia seguinte 9h da manhã estavamos na porta. . Mais uma vez estava fechado . Ficamos em pé na porta até as quase 10h da manhã. E quando fizemos a reclamação O dono super grosseiro tratou a gente super mal e disse que só pela reclamação ele não deixaria a gente entrar que quem mandava no estabelecimento era ele ..sendo que está pago. Liguei para o hoteis.com para pedir cancelamento e mevinformou que mesmo diante da situação nao teria reembolso. Tenho tudo filmado e espero que meu problema seja resolvido. Pois ja basta meu prejuizo de ter tido que procurarcoutro hotel para não dormir na rua

Un havre de paix a portimao

Excellente guest house très bien entretenue. Chambre spacieuse, calme et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Accueil très chaleureux lors de l'arrivée. Je recommande fortement cet établissement. Rapport qualité prix plus qu'excellent. Nous reviendrons.

We had a very short but lovely stay at NDS Prestige Guesthouse and Suites. We had to arrive late (22h) and the owner was very understanding and had a staff member to welcome us even though it was Easter. On top of that we had a bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival to say Happy Easter. The place itself is really nice, all new and modern. Located in the heart of Portimao and 30 min walk from Praia Rocha. Very good design of the rooms too, makes you feel like home. Thank you Nuno and the lovely lady who welcomed us!

YO buscaba un hotel de 4 estrellas y me aparecio esta pension Si bien es verdad que la habitacion es grande El establecimiento es simplemente una casa con 6 habitaciones con baño Limpio y elegante , pero ningun servici Aparcar en la calle o cerca es imposible y debes de llevar tus maletas desde lejos no hay soporte durante la noche Es como coger una habitacion en Arbn

Very clean and comfortable, friendly staff

Hotel manager Nuno is very friendly and helps you with everything you need. The room is incredibly clean. The guesthouse is located in the very center of portimao, 5min walk to a lot of restaurants. Our favourite beach was a drive of 10-15min away. All in all we enjoyed the stay very much.

Great little hotel
