The property was convenient and very clean. The amenities were lacking. The rooftop bar was not staffed and if you wanted to enjoy The rooftop and have a drink you had to summon an attendant through the front desk on the bottom floor.

Small hotel in great location, stylish, clean, modern and with the best breakfast I ever had in an hotel (not buffet but freshly prepared and served at the table) We just loved our stay!❤️

Stayed 6 night's for the 2024 Valencia Marathon. Room 212. Im a very low maintenance, not picky guest customer so my review can be very different from those opposite to me. I found the location of hotel to be very central to most of what i wanted and needed to do. Park is right in front to go running. Start and finish of race is only 2mi away. Bus stops and bike rentals are within few steps, plus taxis go by the main road constantly. Getting to expo wasnt complicated either as took the trolley only few min walk to station from hotel. Going to the beach via taxi cost me 9 euro, rode bike rental way back and explored the city. Lots of good and close dining options for runners. Staff was very helpful during my stay. Because of location i got to explore the historical part of the city within walking distance, everything i needed during my stay was right there. This hotel more than satisfied my stay, all i needed was a quiet room to stay with bathroom and good mattress. Room i stayed is in very good conditions, looks like very recent remodeled and modern. Dont let reviews from other high maintenance over the top expectations reviewers keep you from staying here. If you're a runner running the half or full, this a nice place to stay. I never had any noise problems at night while sleeping. Mattress was really good, so were the bed sheets and pillows. Just wish it had a microwave, being from the USA would've liked to wup my oatmeal or food from Mercado. Did have a mini fridge that h

Loved the modern, Scandinavian look throughout the hotel with clever lighting. Huge rooms and bed. Lots of charging points and sockets..loved the shower. The hotel has a 5th floor terrace area for relaxing s well. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

Lovely modern hotel in a really good location right at the entrance of the old town in Valencia and close to the urban park. The staff were extremely helpful throughout our stay. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as the food was limited and didn't cater for vegan options. The room is well designed and stylish but a little on the cosy side and expensive for what you pay for. The rooftop terrace is nice with great views of the old town but as we were located on the 4th floor (one floor below the rooftop terrace) it got a bit noisy in the evening when they played the music quite loudly. Overall, a really nice stay in Valencia.

I loved this property! It was immaculate, the staff were helpful and friendly. The roof top bar was so nice! Fatima makes a great Aqua De Valencia, ask for her! The optional add on breakfast for $18 was enjoyable every morning. The hotel is located right next to one of the FSU dorms, which is why I stayed there. There are hundreds of restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone.

This hotel is in the perfect location, just at the entrance of the ciutat vella, the historical city center. You walk right in! Very convenient. Hotel was very clean and breakfast was excellent. We stayed in a Junior Studio Suite (2 adults a 1 kid) and we enjoyed every minute of it. Room was large, nice layout, great view. But the real strength of this hotel was the staff!!! Pablo, Alba, Patricia, Sara and Paloma, thank you so much for always having a smile on and being so helpful! Super highly recommended.

The staff was great, particularly Pepe (i think :). Decoration and furniture are high quality. Bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable. Loved the separate space for the toilet. Location is great, close enough to a lot of touristy attractions. Nice terrace with wonderful views.

Outstanding hotel in a perfect location. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They recommended some local sights to visit that we didn’t even know about. They provided a great restaurant recommendation. We even had welcome drinks on the rooftop! I would recommend this place to anyone.

I had a problematic stay at this hotel over the fallas festival. Here are some of my observations. Pros: great location next to the old city & in front of the park, easy walk to explore the old city. Rooms are very clean & bed comfortable. Nicely renovated. The exterior rooms are beautiful. Cons: the standard room I booked through Expedia was an interior room, with a small window facing a skylight well, (referred to as internal courtyard). The room is so dark that it is impossible to tell it is day or night. The next day I requested to move to an exterior room & the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. However I had to move back to an interior room again the night after, as it is impossible to sleep at the exterior facing room. There was a party tent set up right in front of the hotel entrance, blasting disco music every night until 4am! Even with my noise canceling ear plugs, my bed vibrated with the loud music 😝 After 3 nights of either no sleep or couldn’t wake up in the dark during the day, I checked out of the hotel early. The hotel refused to refund the unused night despite Expedia was on the phone negotiating with them. In general, I think this would have been a good place to stay outside of Fallas time. I would not recommend the ‘standard room’, it should be clearly communicated of the window well situation. Not allowing guest to check out early & get refunded for the unused nights, when they have nothing satisfactory to offer is bizarre.

Perfect in every way

The Hotel was excellent, from the lobby to the rooms, decor throughout was superb and very clean. We couldn’t fault anything, especially the Breakfast and would highly recommend staying here.

The Hotel is located so central to the “old town.” The staff were excellent and let us into our room early. The room was very “mod con” although easy to use. May well be going back !

Strange Bathroom

This would ordinarily be a great hotel except The bathroom sink was in the sleeping area. Very strange for a four star hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay here and wish we were there longer. From the knowledgeable gentleman on the reception who provided us with lots of information on the best places to visit in Valencia to the comfy beds and beautiful shower, we would recommend to anyone staying in Valencia.

The staff were very helpful and always happy and friendly. (Pablo was great with all his local information) The hotel is very well situated at the edge of the old town. There is no dinner served in the hotel but the breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean and ours was very quite considering we were facing the main road. If you had lots of clothes and cases there may be an issue with enough room. If we were in Valencia we would definitely stay here again

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful hotel for two nights... but I wish we had stayed longer! This is an excellent hotel - impeccably clean, super comfortable with friendly staff and service. Not to mention you are on the doorstep of a stunning historical landmark. This is one of the most comfortable hotels I have ever stayed at. Stay here! You won't regret it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel. From the moment we walked in, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the hotel smelt divine! Our room was not ready so we were taken to the rooftop bar for a delicious welcome drink. Our room was modern, great lighting, with a large tv, separate toilet and shower room and huge comfy bed. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was cooked for you and was delicious. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to family and friends. Nice hotel in great location in Valencia

My friend and I stayed 3 nights at this hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect the rooms and bed very comfortable and they have got a nice outdoor rooftop bar with a great view. The only slight disappointment was that we came early - so fully understandable that we couldn't check in straight away. However the receptionist got my phone number and promised to WhatsApp me as soon as the rooms were ready but we never heard from her.

This is a fine small hotel that´s close to everything. The rooms are spacious, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I wouldn´t hesitate to stay at Puerta Serranos again

The hotel and staff are wonderful.My only complaint is that there was never any hot water at the end of the day to have a shower.I would recommend an up grade from a standard room as our room was quite dark .Other than this we loved everything about the hotel.

A real gem in Valencia

This hotel was a real find. It is ideally situated for all the main attractions and also plenty of bars and restaurants . The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and the rooms are both spacious and comfortable. It has a delightful rooftop terrace where we enjoyed some lovely winter sunshine. The staff were incredibly helpful and gave us several recommendations for restaurants which were excellent and very reasonably priced. Nothing was too much trouble. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Valencia. It is excellent in every aspect and great value for money.

All of the staff at Hotel Puerta Serranos were so friendly and helpful. They gave us a map and showed us where all of the main sights are in Valencia. When we checked in they made cappuccinos and later we got to try some Valencian Water. I wanted to speak to them in Spanish but since I'm not very good at it they were only too happy to switch to English when needed. The rooms were very comfortable and modern -- and within a very short walking distance of everything. It was a wonderful stay!
