We always enjoy staying at MTN. Basecamp . The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Front desk always pleasant.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to gas line issues.

A wonderful stay while visiting Canmore. A lovely, welcoming fireplace in the lobby with a seamless check in. Pets are loved and welcomed here. Rooms have Nespresso coffee machines and luxurious soaps and creams. I am loving all the small details of this hotel stay.

Easy online check-in and checkout facilitated easy access to our room. The room was immaculate and bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and we received great service from restaurant staff at Rhythm and Howl. I recommend to anyone looking for a quality room and experience in the mountains close to Canmore town centre and a short drive to Banff.

So close to downtown

The room was nice, clean and comfortable. Hotel was nicely situated, lobby was very comfortable for sitting by the fire. The pre-check-in was nice, however, because there was no human interaction no information about the hotel was shared upon check in - where the hot tub was located, restaurant hours, etc. Hot tub was probably the biggest detractor from the hotel score - it was small, felt old and in a bad location. We would have loved to look out at the view while sitting in the hot tub but because it is at the back of the building it is all fenced in, taking away from the view.

The wood burning fireplace in the lobby was incredible. Spent time there reading just listening to the pops and snaps. However a light fixture in our room was inoperable for the duration of the stay.

Amazing hotel and amazing staff. Could not of picked a better hotel for a weekend getaway! Can not wait till I can book another trip to return! Definitely made returning customers. Thank you

As good as ever! If you werent in the mountains with ample hiking trails, skating, restaurants, etc. Youd never have to leave.

This place is clean, modern and a very comfortable place to stay. But for me the best part was how friendly and eager to help the staff was.

liked, newly renovated

The suites are excellent. I had 3 items that i feel need to be improved upon. 1) the lighting is quite poor. Trying to play card games or read was difficult. 2) there was no entry closet or hooks. It's winter. Coming back from skiing or town, we wanted to hang our winter gear and there isnt anywhere to do that. Lastly; the water tskes quite awhile to get warm. Im talking a solid 5 min of the shower running before it is useable

The room was super clean and everything seemed new. I had a great time at my stay here.

The outdoor hot tub was nice but small. I didn’t like the location to other attractions. The parking spots were very small.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Front desk provided some good suggestions for local restaurants. I enjoyed my stay! I would definitely stay again.

Great sweet place for my family's trip.

My first experience was wonderful. Only suggestion is parking, it would have been good if there was underground parking(due to the Icey cold snow during winter, which damages the vehicle).

Amazing fireplace

The room was fantastic. Lots of space to tuck away ski equipment and luggage. It was very clean and the beds were comfy. The Christmas decor was beautiful and there are spaces to sit around the fire and play games. The only downfall was the hot tub. The first night it was lukewarm. There’s so much chlorine in it that it changed the colour of my bath suit from teal to gray and we had to leave quickly because our eyes were burning. I would most definitely stay here again!

Fantastic all round, gorgeous details, boutiqqe hotel feel with exceptional service. So looking forward to spa addition, this will be a gem in the rockies for all seasons.

Would 10/10 recommend staying here. Rooms had ton of space/very cozy, lobby area was beautiful, warm fire daily, Christmas dinner was wonderful, and the games/photo booth was a plus. Easy access to Banff National Park.

Stayed in the king loft suite - it was awesome. The room was beautiful, had two bathrooms had a nespresso coffee machine to use and a nice selection of tea. Stayed over the holidays and was left a gift of cookies when we came back to the room Christmas Eve. Enjoyed the hot tub each night and even got it to ourselves a couple times. Would come back !!

This was such a cute place. I was really glad I booked here. Loved the great soaps and skin cream they had in the room. Had a great dinner and enjoyed sitting by the fire in the comfy lobby.

Loved the online check in and being able to just walk right into the room. Very much appreciated the upscale body products in the room, the nespresso coffee machine and wine glasses and of course friendly staff. Room was large, comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Lobby was beautifully decorated forthe holidays. only downside was no sit down breakfast, only grab and go. Would have liked a nice sit down breakie. Oh also loved the cool photo booth in the lobby! would definitely stay again especially when the nordic spa opens. Thanks Basecamp!

Beautiful, clean rooms. Good quality bathroom products, gorgeous lobby that smelled of smoked old fashioned. Restaurant in hotel was delicious and staff were awesome and friendly

After first we just saw the photos on the website and chose to book because of that. Once you are there it’s a rustic hotel with a great dinning option. All the staff were friendly even called to check on us once we were in the room to make sure it was to our standards. They upgraded us for free before we got there. I would definitely stay here again and recommend you give this beautiful hidden gem a chance.

Excellent staff and restaurant. Unfortunately the hot tub was down durinf half our stay. Excellent option if youre looking to be out of the hustle and bustle of town center.

It was a great experience - my son loves the place could be better with more amenities and room service but overall we enjoy staying here!

The property was very nice and clean. The only thing I would change is the attitude of one of the desk staff, she seemed to be bothered to help me check out. Other than that, our stay was great!

Lovely property with clean rooms. Disappointed with the limited dining menu and times. There was no breakfast or lunch availability as the restaurant opened at 4 pm daily. The snack bar included a few sandwiches and baked goods that were available from 7am-noon only. I ended up throwing out my purchased pastry as it was old. The hot tub was nice, except when turning on the jets. It sounded like the pipes were plugged, and it was very loud and annoying. The biggest pro was the cleanliness of the room. The biggest con was the lack of amenities and limited dining.

Beautiful, Unique and Trendy Hotel

Very nice property, incredible view. The photo booth room was such a fun way to document our trip! I didn’t find the bed or pillows overly comfortable unfortunately and didn’t sleep great. But my partner slept great and had no concerns. I would give it one more chance in case it was just me having a hard time sleeping. Other thing to note is the hot tub is in an odd location and no robes in the rooms. So we had to walk through a lobby full of people and past a restaurant of diners in swimsuits to get to the hot tub. Robes would have been nice given the location.

This property was clean, quiet, and very convenient if you plan on visiting Banff National Park. The restaurant located within the hotel also offers delicious food. The staff was kind and treated us well. There is plenty of parking space and it is located close to businesses and restaurants.

I love the location it was very beautiful

Beautiful exterior and a cozy lobby. The rooms are very standard in size and very clean. The staff is super friendly and the parking lot is spacious as long as visitors know how to park! A convenience store and coffee shop are a short walk away. I think Google said the walk to downtown was only 30min; we drove, but it is a very short drive to either the tourist street, or every day necessities if you need groceries. Online check-in and out makes it super easy to cut down on time! Can hardly wait to stay again!!!

This is a a beautiful property. The rooms were very clean and well taken care of it. I love that they have Google Chromecast built in although we upgraded our room just to have a 2nd TV and it didn't work. The staff was AMAZING in trying to fix it and accomodate us. We would stay here again!
