Not recommended

The rooms, reminiscent of the '90s and lacking proper maintenance, offer disappointing views unless you opt for a sea view; otherwise, expect a view of a wall. Guests are required to adhere to numerous regulations, with a penalty of $250 USD for any infringements, including restrictions on playing music anywhere or consuming beverages outside their rooms. Despite its higher price point for the area, the hotel fails to provide comfort. The furniture is both low-cost and uncomfortable, more akin to what you'd find in dormitory settings. Given its expansive size, the property faces challenges in maintaining cleanliness. The staff, predominantly young, seem disengaged and less inclined towards hospitality, often appearing more as security personnel than hotel staff.

The only thing that i didn't like was that went they washed the pool area, a lot of water fell on our balcony which wet everything we had there.

Advice

Small but nice pool with enough room for everybody when we were there. Amazing view from pool. Our room was advertised as a room with ocean view which it was not. We where placed on first floor. Avoid first floor at all cost if you do not want to be on display for everyone who passes by on the street outside (see pictures).

There is a total lack of long term facility maintenance in this hotel

Great location looks a little tired.

In a great location with friendly staff. We only stayed for one night and the items in the apartment were sufficient for one night but you might struggle if you were staying a little longer. The apartment was starting to look a little scruffy and worn but not to an extent that I wouldn’t stay here again.

It is directly across from the beach where there are sea lions on the rocks. The view is spectacular. The people at reception were very helpful. The room was clean and spacious.

I loved location, size of bedrooms, jacuzzi and swimming pool and of course the view!

The view from this hotel is phenomenal! We originally rented it for one night but the location, view and customer service is top notch, so we extended our stay for a few additional days. The staff is exceptional at this hotel! Their response time for everything we needed was world class!

Great Location and very friendly staff.

Disappointing

Not what we were expecting from other reviews. The apartment was dirty and the wifi was terrible. It's quite far from Valparaiso and Vina and a 30 minute walk to the nearest food places, but the bus service was good and ran late. The weather was foggy when we were there in the morning so we didn't visit the pool. There were 3 of us and we needed a room each so it was expensive for the quality. The 3 room apartment slept 8 so it may seem more reasonable if the price was split between more people.

Great apartment right across from the ocean

We really liked sitting on our balcony watching the waves crash and the people walk by.

Noisy and needs updating

We had the noisiest room in the hotel, right on the street level - very very loud. Interior needs painting badly and new carpet. Kitchen lacking some obvious items ie dishwashing soap and paper towels and coffee maker. Pool was nice but difficult to access. Second bedroom with two twins is tiny with window looking over garage. Beach is within walking distance but not directly across the street.

Close to the beaches but worn hotel

Hotel was as pictured. Location is great for close beaches. Can walk or bus to dining or store. 2 bdrm is spacious but not overly comfortable and while clean it was very worn looking. Views can be of street or obstructed, but can see/hear the Ocean and sea lions. No hair dryer in room, no on site food or coffee. Staff was very friendly and helpful, there was always someone at the front desk that spoke English. They fulfilled our request for a room off the street level and provided immediate service when we had a small problem in the room.

Close to beach but sadly not well maintained

I'd stayed at this hotel in 2000 and it was really quite nice, ample apartments nicely fitted out, etc. This time around, it almost seems like they are stuck in the year 2000 - other than paint in the common areas, everything is old and kind of falling apart. Our room was a bit dirty, the windows opening out to the balcony were quite dirty and there was an unpleasant smell in the bathrooms. In the master bedroom, the fitted sheets for the queen size bed didn't even make it all the way down the mattress! Finally, internet service (wifi) inside the room was horrible, had to hover around the entrance door to get any connection. We complained but the hotel was full so they couldn't move us to a different room. They sent somebody up to the room to 'clean' but I can't tell if they did anything or not, looked exactly the same when we came back. We need to give our daughter a bath but there was no plug for either of the bathtubs and when they sent one to our room it was too small and the water still ran out. Overall, very disappointed, especially given the price!

Average stay, expensive

A very short stay at this small but a bit expensive hotel. Better for long term stays because of the apartment setting. An average decoration with less than average bedding. I wouldn't recommend it

It was ok. The breakfast was only a loaf a bread in our room each day and when we checked out they charged us 40.00 USD for a hand towel that we used to clean up wine due to no paper towels or toilet paper in the room.

Bad Experience, many issues with the elevator and parking. The rooms rates is too much related to an Hotel 5 stars. Poor breakfast and Concierge with bad willingness

Love the sea lions.

Gorgeous location. The breying of the sea lion sanctuary across the street was entertaining, almost frat boy like. Reminded me of college. All in all a great place for our family to get together.

Apart hotel, located in front of the beach

They gave us an upgrade to a bigger apartment for the same price. The apartment included two rooms, a king size bed room and a two single bed room. A small kitchen and 2 beds in the living room. It was comfortable and met my expectations. Included continental breakfast in the room

Very comfortable suites hotel with beach frontage

Our room with a patio facing the ocean was wonderful. Nice accommodations and hospitality. Good location, easy to get the bus into town. Only downside is the barking seals on the giant rock across the street. Barking contined all day and night.

Great location friendly staff

We were only able to stay one night but enjoyed the location and hotel. The hotel is not brand new but comfortable.The views were great and the roof top pool a nice place to be to see the surrounding area. The hotel is across the street from some large rocks where birds and seals live. Tourist buses like to stop for pictures. There is free wifi in the lobby and free parking on a first come basis. . It is a good area to walk in as there are many restaurants and a long walking sidewalk in both directions. They bring you milk and bread to toast, coffee for your room as there was a mini kitchen. We would stay here again. The staff were all very nice and helped us make reservations for Casablanca Valley wineries. Thank you

It's all about location

The suites were fine, room was very clean front desk staff was also very efficient .Only problem was that the hot tubs were not working very well and pool was cold but I would return .

La propiedad en si no esta mal, solo que en la limpieza deben enfatizar más, ya que en los azulejos del baño había muchos hongos.

Nice place to enjoy sea front a couples of days. Many restaurants and nice boardwalk to walk.

Frente a roca con leones marinos, y fácil acceso con estacionamiento. Lo único que no nos gusto fue que reservamos habitación con vista al mar, pero nos ubicaron en primer piso y la vista era a la calle, carros estacionados y atrás lo que se alcanzaba a ver el mar.

No pude viajar y solicite la devolucion de mi dinero el mismo dia en la mañana, y se me dijo que no se podia devolver porque lo había comprado con la aplicacion despegar. Despegar no me da la opcion para recuperar mi dinero

Habia un ascensor malo. Falta algunos implementos, parrilla eléctrica, sillas de reposo en la terraza, etc

Gratamente sorpredido, buen tamaño el dpto con 2 piezas, buenos baños, terraza , la ubicacion excelente dejas el auto ahi y haces todo a pie restaurantes de mariscos en playa cochoa a 300 mts, caminas por reñaca, todo bien.

El lugar está muy buen ubicado, caminando a reñaca y cochoa, el local tiene estacionamiento subterráneo, piezas con calefacción central cómodas y limpias. Los jacuzzis exteriores excelentes a pesar de lo antiguos que son. Estuvo muy bien precio calidad ubicación

Buena relación precio calidad

Todo genial, buenas instalaciones, limpieza general y protocolos COVID. Jacuzzi en el sunset un 100% recomendado, funciona con reserva por grupo. Ideal para ir en auto, nada cerca de comercio.

Tranquilidad y buena vista

Lo único malo fue que el asensor no estaba operativo y nos enteramos al llegar a recepción. Fuera de eso, la amabilidad de todo el personal es algo destacable. Por otra parte al haber baja demanda de pasajeros, tuvimos la oportunidad de disfrutar del la sala de juegos y el sauna solo en el horario que gustáramos. Una buena experiencia en general y la vista hermosa!

Los pro y contra.

La verdad, es que las fotos muestran un recinto muy limpio con instalaciones modernas, pero lamentablemente al llegar allá, nos dimos cuenta que no era así. De partida cuando llegamos habían migas en la mesa, el suelo con suciedad como si recién se hubiese desocupado el depto., luego problemas con la caldera (no calentaba el agua). Afortunadamente nos cambiaron de departamento por uno que está en la torre 1, y ahí también estaba sucio, pero al menos había agua caliente y acceso a dos terrazas, por lo tanto la habitación principal era más iluminada y con menos hongo. Al pedir la limpieza a la habitación hubo un cambio notorio, todo quedó limpio, se notaba la diferencia, por lo que deduzco que no habíamos recepcionado departamentos con el aseo ya realizado, y si fue así, dejó bastante que desear. La piscina en la terraza, a la hora que la pedí (19:00 a 20:00 hrs.) estaba con el agua turbia, no tenían encendido lo que hace que el agua se mantenga en movimiento y así se limpie un poco. Eso sería en cuanto a lo negativo. Lo positivo por destacar, la vista, la cercanía a la playa, el personal en recepción muy atentos, lo que permitía poder tener un momento de relajación en familia, que es lo que se busca en un lugar así.

Artículos en mal estado

Artefactos descompuestos como el hervidor, tostadora de pan y la puerta del horno por poco y no se cae. Vecinos del piso superior arrastrando muebles muy tarde en la noche.

Hotel con buenas comodidades

El hotel está en la zona de Reñaca que está catalogada como buena en Viña del Mar. En frente del mar, se observan sobre unas rocas focas y leones marinos, sin embargo, en esta área no se puede usar playa y menos el mar para baño. Caminando a 5 o site minutos hay zona de playa, donde la gente se broncea y divierte, pero casi no se ingresa al mar, cuya agua es helada y marea muy fuerte, me dijeron que eso era en toda esa ciudad, no obstante, la vista y paisajes son fabulosos. En el hotel la atención excelente en recepción especialmente de José y Erwin, desde que llegamos en la mañana, nos dieron la habitación que es superamplia y cómoda, con una cocina bien dotada. Cuenta el hotel con piscina descubierta agua bastante fría, sauna y tres jacuzzis. La única crítica es la falta de desayuno, al no haber restaurantes cercanos, lo aconsejable es comprar ingredientes y cocinar

Lugar hermoso, con excelentes vistas y muy buen mantenimiento. Area de pileta y jacuzzi renovada y play room muy espacioso y limpio. Para mejorar: el departamento para 8 personas no cuenta con espacio suficiente de cocina - comedor - living para albergar a esa cantidad de pasajeros; la pagina mostraba al reservar que dos de los dormitorios tenian vista al mar, cosa incierta ya que solo uno contaba con ello; el aseo diario es bastante mediocre y Wifi pésimo.
