Great stay for London EDM nights.
Perfect location and a short 2 minute walk to the tube station
Cosy
Great hotel in central London. Small, cosy room with great bathroom, which was all I needed for a solo trip. Nice views and good location at Aldgate.
Great stay!
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! It was very close to Tower Bridge, everything was very modern, new and clean, the bed was comfortable - what else can you ask for.
Such a great hotel
Short and pleasant one night stay
Short 1 night stay for a trip to twickenham. Hotel was spotless, bed was comfy
Perfect stay 10/10
The hotel was lovely and in a prime location. I wish I booked this hotel in the first place. I had booked somewhere else first that was in an unstayable habit and was able to get this place last minute. The room was perfect and the bed was comfy.
Very good location. Small walk to bus stops and subway.
Don't be fooled by the reviews. This place is terrible I would never stay here again. First of all our room was right outside the lift on the 7th floor constant noises from that and from noises in rooms next to us you can hear when people used the bathroom. Hardly any space in the room despite booking a king bed we were given two singles pushed together very uncomfortable the pillows were a complete joke. The bathroom was not cleaned properly there was a smell and turns out cups were left from previous people that stayed on top of the loo. I would genuinely expect to recieve my money back for this stay. Just ridiculous.
Boss
Rooms were TINY!! Lobby ver nice
Good location for me, conveniently located to Aldgate and Aldgate East station so easy access into city and beyond. Up on 11th floor so away from the street noise outside. Comfortable room
Great!
This was literally a pit stop for me as the event I was attending didn't finish till after my last train home so I was just looking for a place to lay my head before heading home again. I thought the cost was very reasonable for a last minute Saturday night in London and the room was very comfortable. The bar looked very nice but I didn't try it out. The biggest plus for me was that I left my little teddy mascot in the room and when I messaged the hotel to see if he had been found, not only had he been found but they offered to post him back at no extra charge (he is very tiny!). I thought he'd have gone to the bear park in the sky so I was very grateful for this. Will definitely use again if I'm up in the Smoke.
Amazing plaze, for my American friends please don’t let the name fool you. This nooooo motel. Amazing staff and rooms. Note: rooms are small, but still amazing. Super clean
Polite staff, small but very comfortable rooms, great breakfast.
The decor was nice
City break stay
This hotel is in a great location, bars, restaurants and convenience stores. Underground station is nearby with excellent network to all places of interest. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The front bar area is lovely for relaxing, I will definitely stay here again.
Everything is accessible and tidy hotel
The property is all glam from the outside but leaves you with a sore back and neck. The rooms are tiny and the mattress is horrendous and uncomfortable. I would never recommend this to anyone unless someone wants to pay in order to endure pain and they don't even provide complimentary water. I have never come across a hotel that does not provide complimentary water in today's day and age. I would urge the stakeholders to focus more on the comfort of their customers rather than dressing the hotel to look fancy. Really disappointed and will never book with this chain again.
fab stay
Staff are very nice. Hotel is very clean. Walking distance to Tower Bridge and Tube station.
All ok
Very basic rooms but everything one needs for a brief stay when out all day. Breakfast was ok but minimal choice of items.
Nice place, would come back
Nice, stripped-down hotel with only the basics, but doing well at that. If all you need is a cozy room and a nice place, this is for you. Good location, too.
Its ok
Its ok. Asked for a view got the side of an office block. Got offered nothing at all for the room and did not even get an overview of any facility or resturants. Nice enough stay but if you want minimal thrills or interaction with the hotel then this is the one.
The staff was so nice and helpful. They definitely live the Golden rule something us Americans have forgotten. Very pleased with the service and the sense of we’re all in this together.
Nothing but good things.
Great hotel whilst working nearby
Wow
Beautiful hotel in a great location in London. Room was great, bed so comfortable and stunning views.
Lovely hotel!
Just back from a two night stay and it was excellent! Right from check in to check out, the staff were very friendly and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble. The room and hotel were very clean and had all the amenities you could want. We will be staying again!
It's a 5 minute walk to the Tower Bridge. Very modern and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Motel one was clean and the staff were friendly. It was walkable to a lot of attractions and restaurants. The bar had great drinks if you’d rather stay in after sight seeing. It was a great experience over all!
The hotel is greatly located for Aldgate station. It has a beautiful lobby/bar. Breakfast looked great, although we didn’t have it. The room itself was very clean, with a nice bathroom. Yes they are small, but they had used the space really well. If you’re staying for a few nights with small cases, this won’t be a problem. The only downside was that one side of the bed didn’t have a side table, however, both sides of the bed had plug sockets which seems to be a rare find these days. We were really impressed for the price.
Great hotel staff very friendly room small but comfortable the only thing is paper cups for your tea and coffee disgusting
Great location, staff. The room was comfortable
Beautiful London hotel , super clean, nice modern decor. Close to all transportation tubes, tower bridge, London eye, Big Ben clock . 25$ Uber to Trafalgar Square , good price
Excellent
The location is perfect and very convenient to go around. There are many restaurants and also supermarkets that you can buy liquor. The The room didn't have a closet, a refrigerator, a coffee machine and it is very small to walk but the price was excellent.
Clean, modern, stylish, comfy - and tiny
Clean, modern, stylish hotel with cozy lobby and well-furnished rooms with a comfortable bed. That said, the Comfort Queen rooms are TINY. We only had carry-on luggage for the 2 of us and we barely fit, but a full-size suitcase might be a challenge. We'd stay again as the location was convenient (just 2-3 minutes from Algate Station) and the hotel was modern and clean; just be prepared for snug rooms.
Good location, friendly staff
Good location next to Aldgate station with nearby shops and restaurants. Friendly staff who were able to let me check-in early. Comfortable rooms. No breakfast option
Clean comfortable room. Quiet, good amenities. Very convenient location for getting around london.
Good jump off spot half a block from the underground and bus depot. Walking distance to the Tower of London. Well worth staying there. Breakfast was too expensive at 13 pounds per person. Plenty of breakfast places on the main Avenue.
This was a great hotel, pretty centralized in London with a tube station nearby. The rooms were standard for London sized, a bit tinier than expected. The bar at the hotel had great drinks and the bartender was great. Overall, it was a great place to stay and will stay again in the future.
Loved the lobby and the 24 hour bar. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Comfortable beds! The hotel was very close to Liverpool St Station. A convenience store was right next door where we were able to get water for our rooms. I'd stay here again.
Everything was amazing here we are from canada and will be back staff was amazing
Great value
Very friendly and helpful staff at every interaction, I felt at ease upon arrival and throughout my stay. Ver nice decor particularly in the lobby and bar area. Good location as well close to Tower Bridge and The City of London.
good stay as always in this change of hotels. Lounge was relaxing and friendly staff
Very convenient. Great price as well.
Came for work and it was a perfect well priced hotel with a great location and killer staff. Loved it and would return.
Motel one
Room was very basic only paper cups and one shelf on one side of the bed. No usb charger socket Unable to use the mirrors in the bathroom as there were always steamed up No where for my wife to do here hair and make up only on the floor View of a was are the room next door Would not use again
Excellent hotel, great staff, good location. Active but not too loud, and lots of good cafes and bars nearby.
No hot breakfast available.
The rooms look exactly like the photographs on the website. They are compact and basic but good quality towels and bedding. The bed is one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve slept in and I’ll be getting the same pillows for home. The location is great - couple of minutes walk from the tube in one direction and couple of minutes walk to the Tower of London in the other direction. Will stay here again.
Very central. Friendly staff
M
A very nice hotel within walking distance to tube stations Aldgate (3 mins), and in opposite direction is Tower Hill (5 mins). You're in good neighbourhood next to Fenchuruch and easy stroll to Bishipsgate, Shoreditch and Spitfields. Lots of eating places, bars, pubs, cafes and rooftop venues. I mostly enjoyed the easy walk down to Tower Bridge and by the river you can see both sides of London. The hotel is very clean and kept in excellent condition. Room was very comfortable and neat. Bathroom also in tiptop cleaniness. Staff very polite, the reception and lounge area have a very quiet and welcoming ambience. The lounge is a gin bar during the day and night which becomes the breakfast area in the morning. I didn't take the breakfast, but I saw that they had very nice offerings and well laid out sections, continental, traditional British and pastries. At £13 pp is very good. I would've taken it if I handn't any brunch dates arranged with friends. I will definitly stay again. Oh, also ask for higher floor. I stayed on Floor 9 - you will get more open view if you're allocated 9th floor or above. My room window looked over towards Bishopsgate and Shoreditch, with a slight view of The Gerkin.
Great location and comfortable
Really efficient check in. Room was clean and comfortable. Great location next to Tower Hill, was able to drop off bags early and go exploring.
Stylish Hotel Inside the City of London fair Price
Central Location. Modern and stylish Hotel. Clean. Good value for breakfast with fresh fruits and Tea, Coffee, Croissants.
Comfortable and convenient
The rooms are on the smaller side, but efficient and very clean as well as soundproof. Overall it was a very comfortable stay, with a great downstairs lounge area, and in a neighborhood that felt safe and well-connected in terms of public transportation. Would definitely stay again!
It doesn’t say that the underground run underneath and can be heard in hotel room very annoying
Amazing views / great staff / clean & modern
Amazing stay. Great view within the last floors. Will go back again for sure!
This location perfectly met our expectations. The staff were accommodating and provided a friendly atmosphere during the stay. I would highly recommend getting the breakfast as part of the stay. It is both convenient and delicious!
Tiny room. Not sure if 2 people had stayed in it. No room for 2 cases. Heard tube on 2nd night all night. And couple rowing. Liked location but think.its expensive for the size of the room. No bath, no complimentary water or herbal teas. Was getting door knocked upon to clean room at 8.30 am. So not a restful stay. But basic and clean.
Great venue and so handy for the tube and the Tower
Great but missing some basics
Hotel location is brilliant, so close to key underground lines and walkable to many sights too. Staff are always really friendly and welcoming. Reception & bar area is stylish and comfortable. Room is comfortable and bed great for a good night sleep. Just a few things need attention. The shower head was poor, no real pressure to it. Noise from neighbouring bathroom travels into your one. First morning we could hear someone singing and the next morning someone was throwing up which we got to hear very clearly. No fridge in room nor any complimentary water. Paper cups instead of glasses. No bin in room.
Staff were excellent. Rooms were small but well layed out. Very clean as well. Lounge area and breakfast were first class
Lovely hotel. I loved the decor and vibe of the hotel. We had a very pleasant stay. The staff were friendly
Great location
Very comfortable, friendly staff and great location for visiting all the sites.
Excellent staff!
Great place to base yourself for a London break. Had 3 nights there, just a 5 minute, flat walk to Tower Hill underground station where you can jump on District or Circle line trains making exploring easy. Dining options nearby or of course it’s not far to West End for a show after a short tube ride. Room had a king bed, modern bathroom with good shower and pressure. Has a bar downstairs, which I didn’t use, but was always busy. Staff very helpful.
A room with a window but very little view
Clean, modern, rooms are very small for price point. Had to ask for a room change on check in due to the fact our view was the building next door about 12 foot away. Could have saved myself £100 and stayed in a room without a window in a different hotel. The one was moved to wasn't any better but at least allowed a bit more natural light in.
Great hotel and location! clean, orderly and nice staff. Highly recommended and perfect launching pad ofr anywhere you want to go in central London.
Bed was super comfortable. Room is small but you are out exploring, not sitting in a room. Central location to underground at Aldgate and Tower Hill. Variety of restaurants and buffet breakfast also available in lobby.
Very clean and stylish rooms, excellent location, no fuss
Ok for one person and no luggage
The rooms were really small, very hard to maneuver. It was very uncomfortable.
Worth considering this hotel
Good hotel in a good location near tower bridge / underground/ dlr. hotel is modern and comfortable. Our room was spotlessly clean
Hotel was in a great location and very clean, We’ve stayed here a few times and it’s always amazing.its in between 2 tube stations with plenty of bars and restaurants available. The hotel bar is open 24/7
Hôtel was modern and clean. The bed was super comfortable but the room was on the small side. We had 2 suitcases and only place to open them was the floor blocking the bathroom or door. The area was a bit removed from the main tourist attractions but felt very safe and only a short walk to tower bridge or multiple metro stations. Staff was pleasant and willing to store bags until check in at 3. We opted out of the breakfast.
Staff were lovely and helpful. The rooms are basic but clean and modern. Would stay again
Staff was very helpful with check-in and getting a taxi for us on departure. Room needs to have more drinking glasses.
Fabulous stay! Great location - super staff. Room was tiny with a view of another building, but we weren’t in it long enough to notice. Will definitely come back.
Nice bartender
Has everything you need, in the heart of london, clean with good amenities, and good price. Would stay again.
Good hotel with nice cocktail selection
The hotel was nice and clean, the staff very welcoming. The room finishes were good and bed was spacious. Would stay again.
Second visit and we will be back
Very small rooms for high price.
Nice Hotel
Very nice hotel and walking distance to restaurants and also the Tower Bridge. Clean and comfortable rooms. Check in was ok, the girl was not very friendly.
Awesome place! Would definitely go back.
Great location between Aldgate and Tower Hill stations. Area is good, great facilities and not too noisy. Reception and bar area spacious and smart. Bedrooms are small but have everything needed, shower is good, no complaints at all and would stay again.
Near several attractions, easily walkable.
Everything was very good , very clean staff were great ,great location , rooms spotless couldn’t ask for more
Clean room, near many attractions, close proximity to transit.
Convenient location and walkable. Small rooms with limited space
Great location to walkable attractions and trains. Nice staff, clean smaller rooms but we spent most of our time out exploring and just needed comfortable bed. Would stay again.
Very nice property and convenient location!
Great hotel.
This is a lovely hotel and part of a worldwide chain which I'd not heard of but will definitely stay at again. Comfy bed with pure cotton bedding, very quiet and very close to underground station. Great decor too.
The hotel is near the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge which is why I picked it. The rooms are pretty standard, not many channels available inside the rooms and no phone service to contact the front desk if needed. I had issues with a nonstop running toilet, but hotel staff looked into the issue immediately after it was reported.
Great hotel - poor ironing board!!
Always friendly staff, with the hotel being in a clean and well maintained condition. My only negatives were around the ironing board, which was shocking and so bent the iron kept falling off (so also dangerous). The pillows are also not great - either too soft or too hard, but i suppose that is personal preference.
It was convenient located walking distance to station . Hotel was clean and beautiful, small room but functional. Beautiful lobby and great service.
Clean and quiet
Great central hotel with a pleasan and homely feeling
