Our room was in the Lodge on the 2nd floor. Very tiny room right next to the kitchen exhaust. At 1:20 a.m. the fire alarm went off. It was attached to the ceiling so we could not turn it off. There was no one else in the lodge. We opened all the windows and turned on the fan in the room and it finally went out. I reported this to the management but we received no discount/compensation. We also ate dinner here; $45 each for a very small piece of sabelfish and grilled cabbage and small salad. Not a very good value.

Staff was great

Beautiful property! Great patio for dining with view of the Rogue river. Room was comfortable with usual amenities, tv and small fridge.

I would like to go back.

Everything was OK except the dinner the first night we were there. The choices were Duck or Pork Loin. The Servers could not tell the difference between the two, (they both looked the same on the plate) so many mistakes were mode when delivered. I had the Pork which was cold and tough, I had one bite, couldn't eat any more. The only good thing about dinner was the orange rolls and the wine we brought.

Beautiful atmosphere, very comfortable visit. Will be back!

Food and staff were incredible, garden on the property they get their veggies from. Great fishing in the area and raft rentals/ guided fishing tours.

Not so private lodge

It was kind of strange to stay in the rooms in the lodge. I didn't feel like it was very private because the doors to other rooms are so close and had there been other guests in the lodge I think we could probably hear everything each other said. The cabins looked pretty great though, much more intimate. But a bit over priced for what they offer

Dissapointed

Not worth the money. Room condition was below average for the price. Dinner was good but overpriced. Breakfast served as pick-up in a paper container due to Covid. Was cold and overpriced for what was provided.

Rustic and comfortable !

Morrison’s is not a luxury 5-Star place and does not market itself as such. What it is, is a terrific place to enjoy and prepare for a trip down the Rogue, and a welcome bed to sleep in after 3/4 days on the river. The staff was extremely polite and accommodating. The breakfast was simple, yet delicious. Dinner service was a great experience, and the orange rolls are AMAZING! I will be back again !

LOVED the views from the deck...and all the fun things to do there!

We were disappointed the pool was not open. But the grandkids enjoyed the creek and river!

Excellent bargain for scenic hotel in off season!

I love this hotel. Very historic log lodge and cabins: presidents have stayed here to fish on Rogue River. Also favorite of white water rafters. Has really updated older rooms in lodge--VERY comfortable bed w/all amenities. I will watch for deals like this again on hotels.com.

Beautiful retreat

This is an amazing area! The staff was wonderful and accommodations were top notch! I would highly recommend this retreat for anyone that wants to form stronger family bonds and subtract the daily hustle of the world we have became slaves to. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

Horrible. Given room over kitchen. Pots and pans banging from 5 am until 10 pm.

Wonderful setting overlooking the river

We wish we had more time to spend at this serene location with nice cabins. It was a pleasant time, and we plan to return to enjoy more of the amenities.

Lodge is clean and roomy,good for might be perfect for the family weekend trip But I didn't expect that far from the hwy just for one night sleep

The Setting is Gorgeous

If you're looking for a nice quiet getaway, this is perfect. Tuck-away #4 was somewhat secluded with the beautiful sound of crickets and the creek that's just feet away.

Great hotel 8-11 miles outside of grants pass

Very surprised when I drove in, I love camping & this was the experience only in cabins, I stayed in the lodge, very comf beds, first good night sleep in a long time!! Only stayed one night but enjoyrd my stay, thought about staying another night!!

Rustic and peaceful place

Very friendly staff. Food was excellent although abit expensive. The room was very nice.

A very pleasant stay

The grounds w river running by , helpful staff and amble room accomida tions were just what I needed to rejuvenate to get back on the road going home. Wish I'd been able to stay long er to enjoy more of the activities. Diffently a lovely destination spot

Beautiful, welcoming and beyond our expectations! Clean and comfortable. The area is GORGEOUS!

Go for the amazing setting.

Morrison's is all about the location. You can't beat it. The staff are kind and helpful. Wifi is virtually non existent. We stayed two nights in different cabins. One was better than the other. When we arrived for our second night, we had only a half roll of toilet paper and a tub that didn't drain - even after they fixed it.

Great place to stay.

Beautiful location and the staff was awesome

It was like a little piece of heaven and a very unexpected wonderful surprise. we are going to plan a family reunion for next year. Will Stay again. Awesome and the staff was wonderful and very helpful.

Off the beaten path

Got a great secret price deal. Did not realize was so far off highway. No food available unless have reservations. Thankfully they could accommodate us for dinner. Delicious 4 course meal but be prepared to pay a high price and spend a couple of hours having meal. We opted not to make reservation for breakfast. Very peaceful area and beautiful river view from outside deck.

Stayed while visiting family in Grants Pass. Unfortunately, we did not have time to enjoy any of the many activities they offer (pool, foosball, mini golf, swimming, etc.) or the meals. Would like to stay again on a future visit. Christine who checked us in was very nice and gave us a great dinner recommendation.

Very Pretty!

Very nice place. Dinner is a little pricey but since there is nothing else around, you don't have a choice.

It was great! Be sure to have dinner on the deck if you can! Gourmet meal, and super accommodating for the vegetarians in our group!

No sleep

Heat system located in a unit wall mounted next to ceiling in room. Had to stand on a high bar stool to turn on and adjust temp.! I am 5'6" tall... Fan was VERY loud and could not sleep every time it kicked in. $100 to stay in a room I got no sleep in. My first negative review for a hotel online in years.

Gorgeous Lodge in a Gorgeous Setting

We thought this place was just absolutely wonderful. It was a gem! A paradise!

Pretty location, on the river

Overall it was a good stay. The room was clean and the grounds are well kept, with pretty views of the river. My only 2 complaints are that the faucet in the shower dribbled non-stop, and the wifi is very slow, almost unusable.It is a good place for a nature retreat if you can be without wifi for a while.

It was amazing!!

I fell in love as soon as we started making the drive up the hill! It was beautiful i can not wait too go back! Totally worth the money!!

Perfect.

5 of us stayed over before our Rogue River trip. Cute riverside lodge with expansive grounds, pool, tennis courts, lounge with nice book/DVD collection. Our 2 bedroom cabin with sleeper sofa in the living room was just right, very clean. Excellent dinner was served on a lovely deck. Staff was very helpful, stored our luggage while we were rafting and had everything ready on our return.

Comfy cabins in a beautiful woods

A scheduling mix up created the need to stay in 2 different cabins during our stay. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The first cabin had two bedrooms, living room, fireplace and kitchen. The second was a studio with 2 twin beds and a very nice inflatable bed. While I would have loved to stay in the first cabin for the whole stay, they were both very nice. The setting is perfect. It is tucked far enough away from town to feel like a real getaway, but still easy to get to. The river is within view and the property is well kept with lots of onsite entertainment for families.

Everything you need!

Morrison's Rogue River Lodge was the last spot on our stay through our tour of Oregon. In fact, we only discovered the hotel online a few hours before. We didn't get to the hotel until 11pm, and the hotel had upgraded our room for the night! They then extended our rate for the next night because we wished to stay longer, the place was so great. I would come back in a heartbeat. There's as much or as little as you'd like to do. The resort is built on a bend in the river so there's a great spot for swimming and rafting right out front without having to go down the river. They let you borrow free kayaks for the day. There's not enough great things I can say about the lodge.
