Staff were responsive and helpful. Location was very walkable and convenient to restaurants, shopping, and metro. Nice breakfast.
Gorgeous hotel, wish we could’ve stayed longer!!
We liked the location and the room was very uncomfortable, small and expenseive.
The rooms are nice but the sound from the road is loud at night and the rest of the hotel leaves much to be desired
Wonderful stay
Excellent staff, great breakfast, amazing room
Good friendly modern Didn't like the fact that there was no chair in the room. Have to sit on the bed and work
Perfect location, comfortable room!
The room is beautifully designed and very comfortable. Loved the lighting fixtures over the bed — one on each side for a double — and the great bedding. Bath products very nice too. A lovely stay.
What a beautiful room! Staff was delightful and very accommodating to an early AM check out.
We had an incredible stay at Miss Clara and wish we had booked more time here! The staff was so friendly and gave great recommendations on where to eat and visit in the area. Definitely would recommend and stay there again.
Lovely hotel with great and helpful staff
Very boring hotel. Not up to par Low staff. dark bathroom lighting
All good
All good, central location and good amenities worked well for us, reception staff were professional and efficient, no real issues TBH.
Splendid
Clean and fresh. Very central location
Ok, but not great
Nice hotel; rooms are very nice, good location. However… - no iron in the room - no tea / coffee facilities - no desk - noisy fridge - poor shower pressure (on 7th floor) - beakfast choice is somewhat limited - minibar is good - comfy bed
Recommended.
Very nice so far. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the glögg at check-in!
It was ok, nice enough for the center of the city, the beds were good, no hairdryer, no kettle.
This is a fantastic hotel in a great location in Stockholm, modern, ultra clean, spacious rooms, great staff. I can’t speak highly enough about it other than to say that when we return to the city in the future we know where we will be staying!
Gem
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, clean and a wonderful bar and restaurant
Wonderfully designed, attention to detail & very friendly staff. Fantastic location as well.
Highly recommended, everything was perfect
Lovely boutique hotel in central Stockholm
My kids and I stayed at Miss Clara during spring break and would definitely go back! The hotel is a very thoughtfully designed, beautiful historic building and the location is very convenient/walkable to most places. But the two less obvious assets of the hotel are 1- the front desk staff who are spectacular (they even received a UPS delivery for us while we were away from Stockholm for a couple of days and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable) and 2- the pizzeria and the more formal restaurant (located on the ground floor of the hotel), both of which have great food. Especially when traveling with kids, being able to get delicious food without having to go out for dinner every night was a big plus.
Lovely in every way. Our experience was perfect even before we checked in: the front desk sends a welcome email inviting you to add (for a VERY reasonable fee) things like early check-in/late check-out, parking, room upgrade etc. so we were able to check in as soon as we arrived after an early flight, at 7.30am. The room was a very comfortable size for a couple (especially if you're used to tiny NYC apartments or hotel rooms!), and flawlessly tasteful, with gorgeous high ceilings and lots of natural light (or blackout curtains if you wish). As some other reviews have noted, the wall between the bath/shower room and bedroom is frosted glass sheer curtain, and though the toilet is separate it's also frosted glass. The shower room and toilet doors are both sliding the 'barn door' style - so there's not a lot of privacy, which could be something to keep in mind if you're travelling with a friend (or very early in a relationship?) Staff were all super friendly and welcoming, and location is excellent: quiet but central - so easy to get to/from the airport by train, and to get everywhere in the city, just by walking, or by subway, bus or scooter. I wish I could stay at Miss Clara every weekend, and will definitely come back next time I'm in Stockholm!
Had an excellent stay here this weekend. Staff was so sweet and we really loved the Byredo toiletries in the room. Walking distance to downtown area and 1 block from a Metro stop!
Staff at check in very good. Hotel staff very nice. Bar area and restaurant also great vibe, only negative bar and restaurant not open on a Sunday night.
Great weekend stay. Classic and cosy atmosphere with very convenient location.
Great value for the price
Great location. Hotel is beautifully restored, impeccably clean and the staff was wonderful. Hotel is reasonably priced for the level of quality of rooms, service and restaurant.
Lovely hotel. Great breakfast. Excellent location.
Disappointing stay in Stockholm, but great hotel
The Miss Clara hotel was wonderful. Very clean, beds were extremely comfortable, and lovely bathroom amenities. The woman who checked us in was also very helpful. Unfortunately, a second woman at the concierge gave us inaccurate information regarding Christmas markets - the purpose of this trip was meant to be very festive and visit as many markets as possible. She instructed us to go to the open air museum market (our trip took place mid-week), however when we arrived... after a 1h walk... we found out that this market is in fact only open on weekends which was quite disappointing. The only other market that was in Stockholm was as very small in Gamla Stan - nothing special in my opinion, however that area of the city was quite nice to walk around in in general. I also would NOT recommend the Miss Clara restaurant to anyone who is a vegan. The server told me he would ask the chef to create something for me in the kitchen, as there are zero vegan options they normally offer there. What came out was honestly quite terrible - after complaining, it wasn’t removed from the bill, despite me only having taken 1 bite. I went down the street and ate lunch next door at a much more suitable restaurant restaurant. Overall, aside from the Miss Clara hotel, I wouldn’t recommend Stockholm or return in the future.
Great comfort
Great Hotel - nice stay in Stockholm
Best hotel in Stockholm
Wonderful location , wonderful and polite staff and very accommodating. Hotel room was clean and kept, beautiful room with lovely tolietries
Great service.
The evening lady at the front desk was amazing. Every night we’d come in she’d ask us about our day. And was always super helpful, made us feel at ease and not feel stressed about a single thing. Room was great too!
Wonderful staff! Very personable and accommodating. The rooms are charming and well equipped, and nice to know the building was repurposed into an amazing hotel. High end toiletries are a bonus. Location is on point, close to Metro stop, or within short walking distance from Central Station (unless you injure your ankle first day of trip!). Also nearby restaurants, grocery store, and shopping. Although, the pizza (and staff) at Giros is well worth staying in for, as is the amazing breakfast. The only downside, the hotel seems to be situated on a prime drag strip. The cars and motorcycles racing down Sveavagen in the evening hours, especially if have windows open for fresh air, are extremely disruptive.
Lovely nice boutique hotel, just wrong location
It was noisy outside all night. Crazy people drove their cars our, were hoking and screaming.
Staff was very courteous and provided us with converters. The room is very modern, long and narrow and there is no room to sit except on the bed.
Large, quiet rooms with tall ceilings. Lots of amenities and a very pleasant and professional staff.
The bed was VERY comfortable and it was great to have a nice deep tub!
Beautiful hotel with fantastic service.
Beautifully restored historic bldg. Located within walking distance to all tourist attractions and old town. My room faced the street and it was not noisy. The staff were wonderful and made my stay a great experience. Will definitely go back.
Great hotel in a great location!
Great stay in a beautiful hotel that is located 20 minutes walk from Stockholm’s main attractions.
Great location! The rooms were small but well appointed. Would have loved to see some extra bells and whistles, but not really a dealbreaker.
Nice property in good location. Very helpful and competent staff. but the room design is terrible. No chairs, no desk, nearly no shelf or closet space. I have staid in smaller room with much more intelligent use of space. Having no chair and desk renders this place a no go for folks who need to work in their hotel room!
Excellent choice!
Nice room deco, good location and excellent breakfast
Nice location, friendly staff, good wifi, good restaurant. Well stocked bar
Rooms were small but cozy. Staff very friendly. Great location for seeing the rest of the city.
Truly tasteful, friendly, relaxed!
Nice hotel in a convenient location
Nice hotel and conveniently located in the city. Like most hotel rooms in Stockholm it was quite small, found it hard to even open my suitcase. The shower was a good size given the overall size of the room. Food in the restaurant was good but room service wasn’t the best, but it was quick.
Loved the style, breakfast and location. W Ish there were tea making facilities in the room
Great location, beautifully decorated and lovely staff
Bed was SUPER comfy and it was the perfect location.
Great for business travel
Fantastic staff. Would recommend a room facing the courtyard vs street if you’re noise sensitive.
Nice hotel
Lovely hotel, nice rooms and good breakfast. Only downside was there were no tea making facilities in the room and the hotel bar closed early/ lacked atmosphere.
Very central location. Helpful staff. Nice big shower.
Great location. Good sized room and super stylish! Would definitely stay here again. A nice bar downstairs too.
The friendly and helpful staff at Miss Clara made me feel very welcome during my recent 4-night stay, but I think the hotel's modern elegance is what truly sets it apart. Stockholm is an enchanting city, and returning to Miss Clara is extremely satisfying to a person tuned to the city's vibe. It's a beautifully and smartly converted space whose design and decor captures the city's history as well as its modern élan. Its exterior, its lobby, its restaurant, its guest rooms--everything about the place reflects Stockholm at its finest. I've stayed at Miss Clara three times in the past five years. I love it. My next stay can't come soon enough.
Beautifully designed hotel with large rooms and helpful staff. Great breakfast buffet!
Central and very well managed, excellent breakfast choice and a fabulous New Year eve dinner.
Very well designed hotel rooms. The unique style makes it far more welcoming than a regular hotel room.
Brilliant stay!
Brilliant stay. Staff were incredibly helpful with recommendations of restaurants and bars, best sights etc. Rooms were lovely and full of character. Would definitely recommend staying at Miss Clara.
A stunning hotel in a great location. Amazing attention to detail and a very happy fiancée!
Not that happy with my room
My stay at Miss Clara was ok. I did not enjoy my room very much as it was a room for wheelchair access and felt very impractical for someone without a wheelchair. The decor was weirdly positioned and the bathroom was unpleasant. If you get the 101 room, ask for something else. On the bright side, room service was great, can highly recommend the veggie lasagne.
Fantastic on all counts!
Fantastic on all counts!
Central Hotel
Hotel is right in the city centre close to everything. Staff are friendly + helpful.
Great Place
We had a spacious room. Great location and service.
Great place in a good location
Great place in a relatively good location - unfortunately the airconditioning was not functioning properly
great hotel. Great location. Great room. No complaints!
Wonderful
Great, but could make slight improvements
Overall the hotel was great. But while the large windows were beautiful, they were very drafty and didn't block street noise at all. The staff was accommodating and provided a portable heater since the room became cold at night. I also would have preferred more privacy for the bathroom. The bathroom walls/door were glass and the curtains were sheer. Perhaps replace the sheer curtains with opaque ones?
Lovely stylish boutique hotel
A lovely hotel, very well situated for seeing Stockholm. The rooms were simple, stylish and well-equipped. All staff were very friendly and it was an excellent base for exploring the city.
Wonderful service, gorgeous hotel
I would definitely stay here again. The rooms are a tiny bit on the small side but they are well laid out and beautifully appointed. The hotel itself is gorgeous, and the restaurant and bar are very stylish but still comfortable and welcoming. The staff was fantastic. They obviously work to please. They even mailed my postcards to the US for free—usually you at least have to pay for the stamps, and a lot of hotels say they can’t do it unless you already have stamps, and I’ve had some refuse to mail even stamped postcards. A nice service touch, for sure. The hotel location is a 15 minute walk from the central train station and the water, but that distance allows for a quiet, neighborhood feel. The area right downtown is pretty hectic and I was glad I wasn’t staying there. There are lots of shops and restaurants within 1-3 blocks of the hotel. I would definitely recommend this boutique hotel over a large, factory-like major brand hotel.
Stayed in a one bedroom suite for a night as we had to catch the flight to Kiruna the next morning. Location was convenient. Breakfast was good. The room was warm and comfortable. Stylish design. Helpful staff.
Lovely little hotel in a great location
Emphasis on the “little”. Miss Clara is a lovely hotel and perfectly located to explore Stockholm. We walked almost everywhere. It is also walking distance to the Arlanda express. The restaurant did an excellent breakfast, which when considered with the cost of going to a cafe was excellent value. The only drawback is the rooms are extremely small. If there are two of you with luggage for an international vacation, you will be tripping over each other. The bathroom is so small that there is no where to hang the towels. That said, the room was beautifully appointed and the bed very comfortable.
Swedish charm & style
A beautiful hotel in a great location for exploring Stockholm. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful, the room was clean, quite, comfortable and beautifully furnished in true Swedish style with attention to detail. Great for a city break or weekend away. I’ll definitely be heading back for another stay.
Awesome staff..very friendly, very convenient, and great waffles on the breakfast buffet.
Lovely stylish hotel in busy area of Stockholm
We had a two night stay in a deluxe room. It was simply stylish, a very comfy bed, cool decor, beautiful bathroom and great storage. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and wanted to make our stay a happy one. The only thing I'd say is even though the sound proofing is good the noise from the road was quite bad especially as there are a lot of old American cars "racing" in the evenings!! However we enjoyed watching these from the bar downstairs!! Would definitely stay again.
Nice place in the business district.
We had one night here, with no complaints whatsoever. The bed had for us an odd attachment, which may be common in Sweden: what appeared to be a chair back at the foot of one side of the bed, apparently intended for a person to sit on the bed with legs outstretched toward the head of the bed.
Romantic weekend in Stockholm
Beautiful historic building close to metro and places of interest.
This Hotel was a Gem.
We were so impressed with the Hotel. Sara and Ester at the front desk were absolutely wonderful.
Chic, funky hotel in Stockholm
Hotel is funky, chic, offbeat. We arrived at night and found lobby dark, bit dreary, thought 'oh no, not a good place' but room lovely, bright white with dark brown herringbone wood floor, very comfy and trendy. Lobby looks better by day. Decor is industrial look, minimalist. Breakfast very good with make your own waffle station! Sarah at front desk is outstanding, a gem, warm and totally service-oriented. Also Joaquim very kind, helpful. Highly recommend this property, especially if you want to stay within 20-25 minute walk of Stockholm Central Train Station and 20 minutes from downtown.
A Great Experience!
The hotel was centrally located. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. I went to 8 destinations and stayed at similar hotels, Miss Clara was undoubtedly the best! Lovely rooms with wooden floors and comfortable beds. It was actually better than some 5 star hotels I've stayed in while travelling though Europe.
Lovely hotel in a great location
Lovely hotel in a great location. The stuff are very nice and the is very good. The hotel has an amazing design. The basic rooms do not have a bath so if you are looking for one you will need to book for the upgraded room.
Charming hotel with great location
Charming hotel with good service, good location, nice sauna, great breakfast!
Great Stockholm hotel
All the staff that I interacted with were extremely friendly and helpful. That really made my stay in Stockholm special.
Everything was great except for the 'fitness center'. A 150 square foot room in a basement with 2 treadmills and a couple of weight machines does not a fitness center make.
Very nice hotel. Very nice staff. No turn-down service at night.
Design hotel with excellent customer service
Had a really enjoyable stay at Miss Clara. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are all about design rather than function, so if you're looking for a fitted wardrobe and kettle in the room this is not the place for you! There are a couple of dining options: a bar restaurant in the main hotel serving delicious high end bistro style food at sensible Swedish prices, then there is a pizzeria next door that is also attached to the hotel. The hotel breakfast looked nice although as breakfast wasn't included for us we decided to grab a coffee and a cinnamon bun from the Urban Deli a couple of doors down, which is a great cheaper alternative. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
Smart hotel but clinical cold & overlooked rooms
The hotel was clean and well presented however we booked a superior room only to find out that all the superior rooms are at the back and are overlooked by offices and another hotel, so we had to draw the curtains and have a dark room if we wanted privacy. The room also felt a little bit cold and uninviting.
Miss Clara will you marry me?
This is officially my favorite hotel in Stockholm, as an American that travels to Stockholm very frequently I have tried out many different hotels in the area and this one is the best so far. I love the staff, love the restaurant and even the Urban Deli next door. It happens to be super close to my office so that is a huge plus as well. I highly recommend the Miss Clara and this is coming from a hotel snob.
Great hotell in the center.
Hotell staff was very accomedating and serviceminded. Very good location only 10 min walk from center as well as the train station.
design hotel
amazing interior design concept, great space, beautiful restaurant, I just wish bed could be more comfy, and I missed rain shower which this bathroom easiely can effort ...the ceiling heights, the great finishes, the design is just unique and gorgeous.
Perfect weekend hotel
The hotel was great. The room was cosy and well styled. I loved the window seat and having Netflix Spotify and YouTube was great. The staff were really friendly and put us instantly at ease. Definitely hope to come back.
Wow. Beautiful Boutique Hotel
Wow! Miss Clara was fantastic! From the staff, breakfast, room to the designer touches that makes Miss Clara somewhere we will want to repeat! Excellent service and location was great.
perfect hotel
location, look and feel, staff, service all top notch
Nice Place
Recommend staying at the hotel, clean, nice lobby, restaurant.
Miss Clara gets two thumbs up!
This hotel is a true gem! Loved it!
Miss Clara
Beautiful very comfortable.
We love her!
We travel to Stockholm once or twice a year for business and will always stay with our Miss Clara. We love her!
Highly recommend
George (?) at the front desk spent twenty minutes advising us on the best eats and local places to see based on our interests (architecture/art/design/food) in the two days we had. We had a wonderful time experiencing Stockholm as a result. The hotel itself is very smart, tastefully done. The location can be slightly loud now and then because it is on a major street with motorcycles, but overall is very convenient to bus/subway and walking distance to the water and restaurants and historic sites/museums. The hotel's ambiance is wonderful. Staff are wonderful.
Nice hotel but the room I was in was too small
If you can get the better room then the hotel is lovely. If you can only afford the basic then it's very small.
Highly recommended
An excellent hotel in every way. All the staff were very helpful. The room was very good as was the breakfast. There are two restaurants - the second one is a pizza restaurant. The hotel is well situated on the centre of Stockholm.
Good base to explore Stockholm from
A boutique sort of hotel, with different layout and rooms to the usual corporate giants. Room facilities were pretty good, although our room wasn't the biggest I've ever stayed in. Comfortable bed, very clean, and good bathroom, with a 'wet-room' type shower (not my wife's favourite type of shower, but one of the better examples of it's type). Staff very friendly and accommodating. We never tried out the restaurant/breakfast so can't comment on them.

Lovely - but very loud area on a weekend!
Miss Clara is a seriously stylish hotel and in a great location too. I stayed here for two nights - a Saturday and a Sunday - and had wildly different experiences each night. I booked a deluxe room and was on the front of the building, which it turns out for a Saturday night means it is very, very loud. I was woken several times during the night by incredibly loud music playing in the early hours. The windows don’t provide much protection from this noise at all. The Sunday night however, no sound issues at all. If booking over a weekend I would say it’s definitely an idea to ask for a room to the back of the hotel to at least minimise the noise somewhat. Other than that, lovely hotel and the staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. Deluxe rooms are super spacious though it’s worth noting the bath they have is a 3/4 bath, not a full size and that wasn’t something i feel I could see from the pictures!
