This property never disappoints! Great parking, shopping and dining - great food. My favourites are the windows open and smoking rooms available. I LOVE it. The staff is amazing, helpful, and professional. I always stay here when I am in Belgrade; this is my eighth stay at this property. I will always return :-)

Lovely location and hotel.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Large rooms, excellent service, friendly employees, well-equipped gym, large pool, tasty breakfast, and a very good restaurant. I will definitely come back.

Only stayed there for a night but if you only have a night in Belgrade that will be the hotel to go ! Very close to shopping goor restaurants and museums!

Breakfast was incredibly tasty.

Great building with interesting history, and amazing value for the price. Bit of a walk to downtown, but no big deal. Ask for a room overlooking the park to the rear, as the hotel is on a very busy road.

One night stay

Check in was seamless, but the room is very warm despite it was very cold outside, AC cannot be adjusted. The shower temperature was on and off between cold and hot, puddles of water remained in the shower room until the next day.

Historic and beautiful hotel in a freat location. Wonderful spa and spa facilities. Rooms are generally comfortable. Staff is professional. Restaurant is good. Could use sone updating and the room temperature cannot be adjusted. Tgis is unacceptable. The room was scorching hot at night with no way to change it. As a reult i would choose a different hotel in the future. I cannot sleep in a hot room, so i was exhausted the entire trip.

Great lobby, lovely spa (sauna, pool, steam, ice room, jacuzzi and quiet room, great gym, amazing Michelin recommended restaurant on top floor with great views. Room was good with nespresso machine and kettle and safe. Free bottle of water each day per person. Concierge excellent and so helpful with luggage and getting taxis. Room service and housekeeping not so great and we would often return to our rooms at 5pm and the room was still not cleaned so would have to call up to ask for it to be done. Overall great hotel and if we were to return to Belgrade would stay there again

I adore this hotel! Its ambiance, prime location, and convenient amenities are top-notch, but the exceptional staff truly sets it apart.

Here’s the review in English: "I had an unpleasant experience at this bar where I was charged twice for the same drink, both in cash and on my card. I spoke with the management, and they promised to refund the money, but we'll see if they keep their word. I hope the issue gets resolved soon."

Perfect location Great service

Great hotel with all you need except affordable breakfast. After Barcelona and Belgrade breakfast ridiculous prices- just across the road in both places it costs less than half and it’s hot breakfast, in both places lunch is less expensive and in cases of Barcelona amazing places with great service lunch is less , in Belgrade very big lunch is less So not sure what is the reason for these breakfast prices

The hotel was lovely. The spa was small and not everything was working well (shower outside sauna).

Hotel is in great location and we received Excellent service. Staff was very friendly.

The hotel is a bit worn out but it really has potentials to become super 5 * property. The spa area and the gym are very good but the staff is average in customer service. Breakfast area was good but pretty noisy and warm. Unless you asked for air conditioning they wouldn’t turned it on, obviously for economy reasons. Milica at front desk, on the other hand was very professional and kind person.

My favourite hotel in Belgrade

Always a wonderful stay at the Metropol. Excellent comfortable bed, fabulous sheets, lovely shampoo etc in bathroom. Breakfast was very good. Spa area is great. Only tiny criticism is the bar is overpriced, but I suppose most hotel bars are. The value of the room itself is excellent.

A great hotel, excellent location, smart and comfortable rooms, the leisure facilities were excellent and of a high standard. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of options, the rooftop bar is worth a visit for great views over the city

I was forced to oay for a night I didnt not stay I only stayed 2 nights not 3. I should have been refunded the 1st night. This hotel is not 5 star qualirt

We appreciated our stay. Although the hotel is older, we liked its classic features. Enjoyed the spa and the breakfast buffet. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. Loved Belgrade and our visit was made complete because of the comforts of Hotel Metropol Palace. Will happily return to the hotel on our next visit.

It's a nice hotel with a bit of history. The staff are friendly and helpful; they all spoke English well. There's a nice view from the roof, and the facilities are overall very good. Breakfast options were pretty good. A decent breakfast by local standards.

Hotel okay but extremely hot

The employees were very nice, and I liked the spa (although it was a bit outdated). The main problem is that it was so hot in the room the entire stay. The hotel only can turn on heat or A/C for the entire hotel, and it was on heat. My room was almost 30 degrees. The air system desperately needs updating.

Quality

One of the nicest hotels ive ever had the pleasure of stopping in. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The bar was excellent the room was comfy and spacious, bathroom was perfect. Gym and spa equipment second to none. Would 1000000% recommend a stay here. Out of this world and unreal value for money 👏

Trip to Belgrade to watch City

The hotel is located on one of Belgrade's main streets, but a little away from bars and restaurants. Lobby area is great, as is the roof top bar. The one big issue I had was the the bedroom. For some reason you cannot have to thermostat lower than 22degC, which means the room is very warm and uncomfortable. Resulted in two poor nights sleep. Needs putting right that!!

This is my second time staying at the property. The hotel stands up to their start rating but this time couple things didn't work out. Room didn't have the working phone and also items were not replaced every day or the trash was not removed without asking them specifically.

5 star stay

Top class stay. Fantastic hotel in a great location. Clean and polished all around with a good choice of Clarins toiletries in the bathroom. Very much liked seeing the refillable bottles in the bathroom rather than miniature plastics. Breakfast was great with a wide choice of everything anyone might need. Wonderful having the spa onsite which we fully utilised. Courteous staff at reception and behind the bar. About a 15 minute stroll to Republic Square so a good location. Extremely clean and tidy throughout.

The Metropole is a grand hotel but slightly showing its age. That said the service from staff was very efficient and helpful

Overall it was a nice property. The room service meal options felt a bit random and limited - I would have like to see more of a variety and more healthy options. The gym was very nice.

A Séjour in Belgrade

What a beautiful hotel! A few mistakes here and there (gave away my room & then concierge missed a reservation) but it all worked out in the end. I really appreciated the extra care they gave for my cat and the room clean with a luxurious bathroom. Not to mention it felt like I was sleeping on a cloud! I would highly recommend trying their restaurant on the 10th floor! Stunning views of the city and even better food.

best hotel at serbia for my opinion,the staff was so kind so helpful and so nice. the breakfast was great and optionally, 10 point for me. definitely will come back..

One night stay- wish it was longer

we were only in town for a night, but would have loved to stay longer. The pool and spa amenities were amazing- photos don’t do them justice. Super central location. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade and the room was fantastic. All around great stay and service.

If you visit Belgrade, Metropol Hotel Belgrade is the place to go. When I come to Belgrade, Metropol Hotel is the place to go.

Favourite spot to stay in Belgrade. Centrally located with great amenities

Room cleaning was way below average. Restaraunt was closed at 9 pm because of the private party - the question is this hotel a club or the hotel?

Stayed two weeks at the hotel. Biggest issue is the AC. It’s auto set to 22c and it does not work that well. So you could take a shower and completely be sweaty afterwards. Very frustrating and uncomfortable. On positive side good location, great staff. Great breakfast. Due to AC not working properly it’s hard to stay there again. Would probably next time look into other place where you can at least control the room temperature.

I loved the Clarins amenities, the gym, and breakfast. The door didn’t close to my bathroom, though it was fine for me since I travelled by myself.

I've been staying at Metropol several times. This year was the best. Management and staff are doing excellent work.

Toilet seat is not properly installed

Claim to be a five star hotel but housekeeping doesn’t even come around for days. The bathtub in the executive suites clogs with water that smells like a sewer. Employees smoke and have sexual interactions in rooms before the guests arrive, I walked in on that. Horrible experience!!

It’s all about service

There are all the conditions and needs for good hospitality, but there seems to be no staff management, no control over maintenance in the rooms, and spa also no control over food temperature in the dining room. ( cold omelet, pie, porridge ) Only one coffee machine for all guests . No spoons, plates not clean. Tables are not ready for guests. . Old hotel isn’t the problem !

It’s a really beautiful hotel, with a great staff and restaurant. But you get charged for everything, even if they call a cab for you .

Good property. The rooms are good but maybe need some upgrades. , the pool is great… the spa center is in general very good. Clean facility, easy to access to taxi, or any public transportation. Close to restaurants.

Fine but there are better options

Something left in the bin, it wasn’t cleaned out and had a bad smell. I had to ask for the shower gel to be topped back up. Quite noisy next to the road and hearing people above me.

Good breakfast, housekeeping can do a better job

Overall good location, people on the front desk are very polite and helpful, however the housekeeping team is not doing a good job, coffee cups and water was not refilled, had to ask every day. The room is quite dark and not very convenient to work inside. The breakfast was quite good.

they have a bellhop service but they would not help me carry my bags in and i put my bags on one of their carts and they told me i was not allowed to touch the carts, and i asked if they could please help me with my bags then, they said i had to have a reservation if i wanted help, of course i did have a reservation they were just being rude for some unknown reason, finally the front desk told the bellhop to bring my bags to my room The rooms very very dirty and run down. i was given a room that had a broken bathtub drain i had to call the front desk and a maintenance guy came in and took apart the drain then left. there was a clump of hair inside one of the “clean” towels then there was extremely loud disco and techno music so i asked to be switched to another room, they said they would send a bellhop up to help but never did, so i went down and asked for the key to the new room which they refused to give me because the bellhops were too busy to help me, despite the fact that they were actually not doing anything, i asked if i could use a cart and they said no because i might hurt myself as a woman trying to use a cart, so i told them to just give me the card to the new room and i would carry the bags myself without a cart. The next room the bath tub had hair and slimy goo in the bathtub so i decided to try the shower which had mould and mildew in it so i didnt use either. the room was missing a tea kettle which the other had. when i checked out they overcharged me

Great facility and reasonably priced

Stayed just one night before a flight, arrived early and they aloud us to check in. Our reservation was for three adults and the room only had accommodations for two but the hotel was quick to correct the issue. Once in our room for the night the TV was locked on a screen for the prior occupant to rate their stay, tried calling the front desk and the phone rang but just went to a bust signal, so we never were able to get the TV issue resolved.

Older hotel, renovated,however massive hotel with mass amount of rooms, incredibly big lobby, great staff and even hotel has its own airport drivers (black sedan mercedes) which i took.

At breakfast all items were out all the time, the rooms curtains were full of nasty stains all over

great location, walkable to the center of town (Terazije ) Hotel was built in the 1950th but in perfect condition, spacious, with lots of distance from other buildings!

Solid property with excellent staff. The room was cleaned to a sub par level with dust and a empty pack of cigarettes left in my room. As all rooms are "non smoking" and my first room was inundated with the odor of cigarettes, arriving in the upgraded room (for added $) was disappointing to find an empty pack left there. Rooms are well appointed and spacious, although the A/C was VERY sub par in terms of actually cooling the room to anywhere close to the set temp. Would recommend and advise to be cautious with 1. Cleanliness and 2. Air conditioning expectations. Again, staff was excellent and went above and beyond overall with special note of Aleksandra in concierge✌
