Car got broken into in paid hotel parking lot
Our vehicle got broken into overnight in the Mere paid parking lot. Not a great way to end your trip.
Great place. Clean, convenient.
Everything was great. I wish they had a soaker lol
Lovely hotel! However, there is a VERY strong perfume smell in the lobby that made me terribly congested in the middle of the night.
Great room, parking was crappy and the water pressure wasn't the greatest.
Always enjoy staying here so convenient and close to everything

Great stay overall!
22 Parking spots for over 60 rooms. Disliked having to park off site. Otherwise, everything was fantastic! Bed extremely comfortable. Double shower head. Great amenities.
Great hotel, terrible parking
New, clean, great location. Staff are great - friendly, and helpful. Hotel charges guests $20 a day for parking but allows people eating at Cibo to park for free. There are only appox. 20 parking spots for the hotel. I can’t wrap my head around the parking situation - charging guests but allowing others to park for free. No microwaves and office chairs are wooden. not great for business travel.
Nice hotel!
Nice hotel…very clean. But there was a strong perfume smell throughout the lobby/front foyer and elevator. It was almost nauseating. There are not a lot of parking spots, so we had to park on the street. Learn from our mistake - double check parking signage. Our car was towed overnight because my husband parked on a snow route.
Nice spot for our one night stay in Winnipeg to catch a Jets game. Staff were very helpful and lent me a phone charger since I'd forgotten to pack one. We would stay here again. It took us about 20 minutes to walk to Canada Life Centre through the underground.
Not that much parking
Stylish clean comfortable stay that is close to great restaurants.
Overall had a wonderful stay. Only concerns were not enough parking and checking in was annoying. The front desk was trying to be nice, but he was giving me a hard time about my last name not being the same on Expedia as it was on my ID (due to marriage). Even though I can confirm all the information, I have the confirmation code, and the same credit card used. It’s just annoying when you say you will change that and they continue to give you a lecture.
After a medical procedure at hospital for my husband we stayed at Mere for the night to recover. We arrived two hours early before check in time and our room was waiting. It was wonderful to be able to rest.. The hotel was exceptionally clean and welcoming. So peaceful with view of river.
The Mere is our go to hotel when we visit family. It’s quiet, close to a wonderful restaurant Cibo and we enjoy the river facing rooms.
Only parking is very risky here
Room was nice & everything was clean. Overall good stay but nothing special. Limited parking spots so you’re not guaranteed a spot even if you prepay
Quiet area. Parking for guests should be better.
Very helpful staff. Within walking distance of my appointment.
Too greedy
Pillows were not good at all. Lack lustre really. No comfortable chair to relax in. Charged extra for parking with no guarantee of a parking space. Sad really. Staff was awesome!
Beautiful hotel
Easy check in and 100 deposit with a cc
Mediocre
A bit pricey and expensive $25 / day parking. Wasn’t expecting that.
Very nice hotel. Room heater is very loud though. Sounds like a Cessna preparing for take off.
It was a very nice hotel very quiet. The staff were absolutely amazing. The only thing I can say that didn’t go well was the parking. When you find a parking spot, make sure you don’t move your car. When we returned from an evening out there was no parking . …...but the front desk girl named Saul was absolutely amazing in helping us!!! She literally saved us from driving home that night because of parking This Hotel would get a 10 out of 10 for me if it wasn’t for parking.!!
Very nice staff, clean, quiet
It was great!
Nice, clean property and great location
Had to pay for parking
Very nice spot to stay
Very nice hotel and great location. Will definitely stay again next time we are in Winnipeg.
Hotel is nice and dining options are great and most within walking distance. Parking is limited and very tight if you find a spot. They have near by options but not convenient
Mere Hotel Winnipeg - great stay!
Amazing hotel, will definitely stay there again!
A unique, clean, modern place to stay. They have a lot of security measures in place too which made you feel safe.
Great stay
Excellent customer service and the room was beautiful and clean with a breathtaking view of the river. Had a wonderful dinner at CIBO as wel. The only thing that I was not crazy about was that I had to pay $22 for parking in the hotel parking lot BUT the hotel was exceptionally inexpensive for the quality of the room. Will come back again (I only live 45 min away from the city😊)
Very clean and “homey”, renters were very nice and accommodating
Had a great stay. This hotel was conveniently close to a few spots I wanted to check out.
Enjoyed the stay! Would definitely recommend. 10/10
Clean, modern, simple. Great location, easy check in, thoughtful amenities. Unfortunately the hotel EV charger wasn’t working, and we did get a parking ticket although we paid the desk for parking and verified our plate was correct. The room was simple, but we didn’t enjoy the glass bathroom walls- even with the roll down shade you could see clearly in when it was used and the lights illuminated.
I didn’t like how it said smart tv in the room but the tv was not smart and only had a few channels to watch
One night stay in Winterpeg
The hotel was exactly what we expected, clean and simple perfect for our one night stay.
Great room and great location.
Spectacular location along the RR and river walkway. A great modern boutique option for the historical neighborhood. Parking can be a challenge but the accessibility and walkability to various eating, shopping, and entertainment options compensate for that assuming ride share is an option.
Great stay. Clean. Only challenge is parking is first come first serve.
Very comfortable stay. Greeted by staff who were very helpful.
Place was in a nice area, clean and well kept up. Would stay again!
Very nice, beautiful property lovely rooms
*
Good location, clean, quiet and comfy beds. We have stayed there quite a few times.
Nice but a few issues
Room was very clean and pleasant. Bed was comfy but the pillows were lumpy. The heat system was very noise and hard to regulate. Shower was awesome.
Love this place, we have stayed there many times. Just wish they would upgrade their heating/cooling systems as we find the fans very loud. Just happy the widows will open a bit as the fresh air is always welcome.
Nice room. Restaurant and bar adjacent. Walkable to restaurants & bars.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
Beautiful hotel. The only complaint is a lack of parking at the property.
Nice hotel, nit alot of amenities.
Nice property clean and tidy but overpriced considering parking is 20 bucks a day extra and no breakfast
Great Little Hotel
Have stayed here many times. It is quiet, clean and comfortable. Close to many amenities. Take time to check out the great restaurant that is only steps away. Cibo Waterfront. Come and enjoy downtown Winnipeg.
Absolute gem with the only flaw being no parking facility!
Horrible pillows
We did not check in. We could not find a parking spot anywhere close to the hotel.
The Mere location is perfect and the beds/pillows are ver comfortable.
Great getaway
Clean n comfortable
Overall good value but do get clarity on parking fees and what happens if you pay and then can’t get a spot when you return. The only other thing is to check your “city view” room. My window opened to the street and people could see right in.
Heating unit was extremely loud in the room.
Love the location in Winnipeg - near the exchange district!
Started with great welcome by front desk . Brian was great and extremely professional. Room was great , so nice and clean . Cleaning staff definitely take pride of their work Only complaint is I had a strange plumbing noises from upstairs room. Otherwise everything was great
Super clean and nice place, and the bathrobes were a fun touch!
Guys. I know three people who stayed at the hotel when i was there. We all found the complexities of the room lighting controls very frustrating. Not intuitive. Too complex. And too many. Otherwise a great little hotel
Was all around grade A will definately stay there again
Our “go to”. Always very good
Great location and very peaceful for a good night's sleep.
Nice place
Nice location. Clean. Modern. Helpful staff
Clean quiet and pleasant staff
I thought everything was great. Was concerned about the parking, but turned out is wasn’t an issue. Great area if you are catching a show close by at MTC. The architecture and history in this area is worth walking around. Love the personal care products offered and the amount of fresh towels etc. will definitely stay here again.
Loved how close it was to so many pubs and resturants
Having arrived at 9 pm after delayed flight we havent investigated the area but it seems nice with river view. Might have scored excellent if we had. Check in lady was very polite, friendly and helpful. Hotel room very large with lots of nice touches
Walking path. Restaurant & MTC close by
Everything is great wish it had a bigger parking lot or atleast enough for all guests though.
Clean and friendly staff
Unfortunately I did not feel safe walking alone as a woman at night back to the hotel. It made my stay an uneasy one. Daytime was fine - but at the time of year I was there, there was not much daylight.
Nice hotel and location for leisure travels. Slightly inconvenient for business travelers in the sense there are no meeting rooms or business center. The wifi was weak as well. Very limited amenities when it comes to food, fitness center, etc.
Just average and No parking fee for the guest.
Super clean, large room, comfortable beds. Wonderful view of the river.
I loved this property - beautiful little hotel, the staff was kind and professional, and the rooms were well appointed.
I love this boutique hotel. It’s clean and really nice location on the river and close to local restaurants. I do not like the high fee of parking.
Hotel was good overall but had trouble sleeping because of the loud noise the air conditioner made every time it turned off. Both rooms had the same problem, something for the hotel to look into and get fixed
I stay here for bisiness. I love rhe location and amenities. The perfect spit for me.
I am writing to share my recent experience during my stay at mere hotel, as I believe it is important for you to be aware of certain issues. Upon arrival, I noticed that the parking was advertised as available. However, I was informed at check-in that there was a fee of $21. I was surprised to learn that the loading area was available for free overnight, which was not mentioned prior or when checking in. This lack of clarity was disappointing, and I felt the communication could have been improved. Additionally, I encountered some challenges with the check-in process. The staff appeared to be unhelpful and somewhat rude, which added to my frustration. Furthermore, the condition of my hotel room was concerning. I found it to be unclean, with visible stains and an unmade bed. I have documented evidence of an orange liquid on the end table, which raised questions about the overall cleanliness standards. On the morning of my departure, I was disturbed by housekeeping knocking on my door at 9 AM to remind me of the 10 AM checkout time, despite having an hour remaining. This felt unnecessary and added to the stress of my morning routine. I hope you take this feedback into consideration to enhance the experience for future guests. Thank you for your attention to these matters.
Bathroom Fl to ceiling window ?
It was good- however a girlfriend trip and we all found it strange for the bathroom to have a floor to ceiling window that displayed out to room. We used the blind though was slightly opaque - a weird situation!
Quiet, beautiful view. Needs a breakfast restaurant.
very neat and new room at nice location with reasonable price.
Literally the best I’ve been to in a while. I would fly back out to Winnipeg just to stay at this place again it was that good.
Beeping smoke detector on the middle of the night is very disturbing and annoying.
The hotel is very nice but parking is an issue, it is very limited and you have to pay which I think it a bit much given the lack of spots.
Free bottled water would improve the stay.
Quality of room, bathroom general building.

For a boutique hotel this place has no charm or anything memorable. No hot tub / sauna or pool either, like give me at least one of those.
