We had a good and comfortable stay, and as a suggestionI recommend checking the seal on the glass in the bathroom shower, which has a small water leak that drips onto the floor when the shower is on.

Não tirei nenhuma foto, mas as fotos do site são melhores do que a realidade. Não gostei da iluminação do quarto, pouca luz amarela e mais luz branca, o que dá a sensação de hospital. Destaque para o funcionário que me atendeu no check-out (não peguei o nome dele), mas foi muito simpático e agradável, é muito importante isso para quem trabalha com público. Parabéns para o atendimento dele!!! Foi o diferencial nesse hotel!

Já foi bem melhor

Na primeira noite quando liguei o ar condicionado depois de uns 3 minutos houve um estouro muito forte que desligou tudo e fiquei sem energia elétrica a noite toda no quarto. Depois tive que mudar de quarto e não tinha nenhum funcionário para ajudar a transportar as malas já que nem mesmo no mesmo andar disponibilizaram o quarto “novo”. Além disso nos dois andares que fiquei havia um cheiro estranho de esgoto nos corredores. Os quartos, em si, estavam ok. Com exceção óbvia da parte elétrica como relatado acima, o que deixa bem preocupado.

Experiência desagradável. Quarto no terceiro piso com odor insuportável de fumaça de cigarros no corredor. Ao sair do elevador ou abrir a porta do quarto o mal cheiro era intenso. Reclamamos na portaria e nada foi feito.

The hotel was fine but the cleaning ladies left dirty glasses behind, the floor was not swept very well and I always had to ask for more sugar for my coffee.

Very nice hotel, with excellent service and good restaurant. Plumbing could be revised but bathroom is neat. I got a good deal and the night there was cheaper than it would have been at a ‘regular’ Mercure .

Overall stay was fine, room was good and comfortable, hotel well located.

The way I was treated during check in was horrible (checked in at night). Front desk was very rude, nor friendly at all and did not try to help me in the situation - there was a problem of confirmation of the booking between Expedia and the hotel. They treated me like I was a nobody and seemed like they did not want me in the hotel. Breakfast buffet was also quite disappointing.

Good location but slow elevators...

Good location within 10 minute walk to shopping center and subway station. Good restaurants nearby also. Only issues - elevators were a bit slow and beds were a little hard. It also had a strange room numbering system - not related to floor#???

Very good location. Fair conditions. Hotel is clean, yet old. Nice rooms. BAD: Noisy, even when other rooms use their bathrooms, you can feel all that noise like it was in yours. I'd stay there again.

I usually go to this hotel, it lacks maintanance this is my constant claim.

Nice location, could use a facelift.

Located in one of São Paulo's nicest neighborhoods, this hotel could take its maintenance needs more to heart. Bathrooms, in particular, are a little too grimy with mold and mildew in the shower stall, plugged up shower heads, and slow flushing toilets. There is also only room for one bath towel to hang dry, so couples are out of luck.

Quite disappointed this time

it is already 6 years that I use this hotel when I am in Sao Paulo for business (3 times per year).. I always loved it for the neighbourhood and for the general comfort of the stay. this is still valid today but unfortunately the breakfast in my last stay had a sensible fall in quality and variety.... I stayed there for 6 days and in a couple of days some fruits were already spoiled. variety of food was much less than usual - no more "Pao de Queijo" for example... "how can I go to Brazil and do not eat pao de queijo!!?" well in the end I am now in a serious doubt... will continue to stay here and have breakfast in another place or will change hotel in my next visit? I used the pool too and was quite dirty in one occasion. and Wifi speed is really poor.... in the end I was quite disappointed this time

The hotel has little maintainance

That is why faucetts, and all appliances always are loose or broken. It is not the first time it happens to me. The reception has the minimum staff so any event when it is necessary that one of them goes to a room, the one left cannot cope with the job, and people line even to ask for a wake up call. Why? Because they disconnect the phone so that people do not call, so you have to go down even for the minimum request. I go there because I need to be in the area, and sometimes there are no options. The rooms are nice, they should care more.

I have been staying at this hotel for a long time, and every time I go it looks worse. I think lack of mantainance is the problem as many hotels in the area, slow service, people at the reception not very much compromised to their job and responsibility (excepto a japanese girl who is really caring, I have to mention it because it is fair to single out her good behaviour) In a hotel which is not touristic, it is very important to make the room quickly when the guest asks for it, and they are not very caring about this subject.

Service is the problem...

It's a good hotel but service is getting worst every time! If you have a problem or need something it takes at least one day to be solved/attended. If you try to call it takes an eternety to someone pick up the phone...

A Comfortable and Pleasing Place to Stay

I found my room to be comfortable. The size and feel of the bed was adequate. Bedding provided was adequate for the time of year I stayed at the hotel, in June. The staff was very helpful; I added a breakfast to my checkout as well as items from the minibar and I found the checkout process to be efficient. I think the pictures of the hotel on its website lead one to believe that the hotel might be more luxurious than it actually is. I would describe the rooms of this hotel as comfortable with a "homey" feel.

I was disappointed with the room, there was not a kitchen as requested. The wall paper was loosing from the wall, in the area over the sink, in the living room area. I had to request a microwave, plates, knives and forks. The sofa and TV needs updating.

I'd recommend this hotel especially for people without a car. The location is perfect with lots of restaurants and bakeries surrounding it. Room is nice, modern and staff is friendly.

Good hotel in great location

In the heart of Moema - near most amenities and future metro .. internet, hot water, air conditioning (and it was 40 outside) outstanding ..the drawback for me was this room was outdated with a very old TV that ended up not working (and unused). Was told that was one of few rooms not updated - and next time I would get a more modern room. Overall - no issues with the Mercure branded hotels for me. Good value for money.

Business traveller review

Comfortable room certainly fit for the purpose of my business trip. Walls were pretty thin, so noise from adjoining rooms was quite evident. Hotel restaurant was good and plenty of choice for breakfast. Standard rate taxi fare from Guarulhos airport was BRL135.

Hotel OK, but noisy.

Don't take a room at the front of the hotel, very noisy due to airport close by. No sound insulation and it's a busy domestic airport. Rooms at the back of the hotel are OK.

Very old rooms. Service is nothing special, but has been better. Advantages are location, and excellent 24h restaurant.

Hotel is going thru deep renovation. Unfortunately we got an old room and those are just.... Too old. The news ones are aelegedly much better. Service and location are the pluses for this hotel. I'd come back but only on a new room.

Good hotel for what I paid

Very nice staff that made up for the Hotel.com booking error. These single beds are so small that they are one step up from a crib. Everything else was good.

No thrills

This hotel is in a good part of town but most Americans will find room size very small. If you need a place for a few days it’s just fine but be ready to keep all your things in your bag since there is a very limited storage space. If you are more then one person you should not stay here

Not bad - not great - good for the price

I enjoyed my stay and most of the cab drivers knew where the hotel was. Not a lot of restaurants to walk to as the hotel is in a residential neighborhood. Little things like having a bar or being able to get a good cup of coffee would have been nice. Next time I would probably pay $50 more and get a slightly nicer hotel in a more recognized name brand chain.

Perfect area in São Paulo

The neighborhood was safe the hotel was great. The concierge spoke English which helped me a lot. I really liked everything about the hotel and moema was a beautiful neighborhood and close walk to the huge park in the city.

stayed here as a member of a huge party for a wedding at a venue nearby. Didn't visit the city center, hence I can't say much about the location. Immediate neighbourhood is good (bars, supermarket, shopping centre, hairdresser, etc. all at walking distance). SP national airport is really closse (10mins taxi)

Hotel was great, we had a problem since only one of our reservations was found via hotels.com, so they had us waiting for 30min and even requested a credit card as a colateral in order to get the second room. We finally ended up getting our money back after they found the second room under the same name.

MERCURE HAS A GOOD LOCATION IN MOEMA. IT IS CLOSE TO THE DOMESTIC AIRPORT AND THE FRONT DESK IS VERY HELPFUL FOR ALL YOUR NEEDS. HOWEVER IS A OLD HOTEL THAT HAS NO HEATING AND DURING THE WINTER TIME IN SAO PAULO THE TEMPERATURES CAN BE VERY LOW.

Hotel muito bom! Limpeza, condições, café da manhã e atendimento acima da média. Chuveiro bom, produtos de higiene com alta qualidade, cama confortável e quarto amplo! O único ponto falho foi a TV. Apesar de ser uma tela grande e bem moderna, a internet infelizmente não estava com boa qualidade, então foi impossível assistir qualquer coisa no YouTube ou outro streaming. Com certeza ficaria novamente e indico!

Falta limpeza básica neste hotel

O hotel é muito bem localizado e o atendimento da recepção é bom mas o do restaurante é péssimo. Pessoas de mal humor que nem bom dia falam. O quarto é bem espaçoso, cama super confortável e espaço para trabalho muito bom. O problema está na falta de limpeza. A pia e o box do banheiro super sujos e o quarto não foi varrido.

Personligen gillar jag inte när luftkonditioneringen är direkt riktad mot sängen. Men i övrigt var rummet bra. Service i restaurangen var okej, men inte mer. Dålig belysning och skyltning i korridoren. Med tanke på att priset är ganska högt ska allt vara bra.

Boa qualidade e localização

É um pouco complicado para acessar o estacionamento (ir e voltar pelo elevador). O restaurante (almoço/jantar) Vila Conte é excelente. Já o café da manhã podia ter mais opções. A diferença entre os dois tipos de acomodações disponíveis são as amenidades (roupão, shampoo, etc.) e não valem o custo adicional.

O quarto é muito espaçoso e confortável. Só acho a cama de solteiro pequena demais e o serviço de limpeza do quarto estava ocorrendo a cada 3 dias.

Serviço de recepção muito ruim em função do funcionário que fez o meu check in ter demorado mais de uma hora, ter me dado a chave do quarto errado e depois não ter cadastrado a segunda chave. Na terceira tentativa consegui entrar no quarto, aproximadamente 1:30h após chegar no hotel. A bagunça se estendeu ao pagamento que fiz adiantado e na hora de fazer o check out não constava o pagamento do estacionamento. No meu quarto não tinha cobertor e ao solicitar na recepção as 23h, já de pijama após chegar de um jantar, o recepcionista disse que não poderia entregar no quarto pois estava trabalhando sozinho.
