Everything was really good. No complaints at all. I was always welcomed when I came back to the property, and enjoyed sitting on the roof space

The thing I loved about the hotel is it is really close to city center like literally 5 minutes walk. Shops restaurants are around and reception is also really helpful and 24/7. 10/10

Very close to bus station and very easy to find and central. Good if you are travelling alone. Small basic bedroom, shower with hot water and mosquito nets on window. Easy walking distance to everywhere, especially museums and boats and restaurants and cafes and bars.I stayed 3 days and my room was not cleaned. Small garden breakfast room but I did not have breakfast at the pansiyon.

Located an easy walking distance to the central shopping area, attractions and marina. Wifi and airconditioning worked well. Shower hot and good pressure. Room small but adequate. Siguated on noisy road, but with double glazing and the white noise from the airconditioning, this was not a problem. Did not try yhe breakfast. Staff pleasant and helpful. Easy walk from bus station (400m).

Excellent location, city center. Booked good tours for good price in city center. Typical turkish breakfast included. Service was great, enjoyed our stay.

Clean, affordable, location!

Great customer service, price is very affordable for location being only a 5 minute walk to the main strip, clean, would recommend to others if you're looking for an affordable place to stay. Bang for buck!

Wonderful first night in Turkey

Melis Pansiyon was a truly great experience. We were so happy to support small family business, and to be treated so kindly and warmly. The owner and his family are very welcoming, and have made our memories of Bodrum very special. Thank you!

Spotlessly clean, great location, v helpful staff

Two gentlemen on reception were extremely helpful, e.g. calling airport on our behalf all day when our luggae did not turn up at Bodrum airport, suggesting things to do. I mentioned I wanted to see a belly dancer, and one guy called his friend to find our information for us. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and very tasty. Whole hotel was extremely clean. Each room has a safe built into the wall for passports, money, iPhones, iPads, etc Showers were hot and powerful. Very central location, just minutes away from the marina, castle, restaurants, and bus station. Five minutes walk to the beach (very pretty walk!).

brilliant stop off point

Only stayed a single night en route to ferry,only 5 minutes walk away. Very friendly helpful staff,great breakfast. clean quiet room.Would have been very happy to have spent a few more nights in this establishment. Even only staying one night we felt we were welcome.

Good Location -Rooms leave something to be desired

This hotel is in a great location if you want to walk to Bodrum castle and other parts of the city center. However, it will cost you 100+ Lira to get to a nicer area (ex. palmarin). So, pay attention to where you're staying if you ultimately need to get to another marina. The rooms themselves were very small and had virtually no amenities. Also, the room wasn't very clean. I've visited more than 30 countries and have stayed in some pretty bad hotels. But, this one has to be in my top 5 least favorite rooms. On a positive note, the concierge was incredibly helpful throughout the stay.

Enjoyable stay, helpful staff

Check in was a breeze, staff are friendly and accommodating. As we had to leave before breakfast time the following day, they obliged readily to prepare an early takeaway breakfast for us. Location is good , a good sized room but it was facing a wall.

Perfect location, lovely hosts, great value

Melis is walking distance to everything.... Really close... But off the Main Street. The owners can't do enough to help you, they were fabulous. The entire place is spotless! The rooms are great. We had a triple which was huge with a great bathroom and the tv aircon and fridge all working like a gem. The breakfast was normal Turkish breakfast...very fresh and everything you need, breads, meats, cheese, spreads, cereal, coffee juice fruit etc. We just loved this place. Highly recommend.

A welcoming B&B in the heart of old Bodrum

My friend & I stayed here 4 nights in mid-May 2014. From the port to the hotel was an easy stroll of about 15-20 minutes with wheeled bags. The Manager Mr Adnan greeted us warmly and showed us to our 1st floor double bedroom. The guesthouse looked recently refurbished and everything in the place was clean, really neat and tidy. Although the room (#202) looked out over the narrow street (Turkkuyusu Caddesi) we didn't find it noisy at all -- good window insulation. The WC was ample with good hotwater pressure and hairdryer. There's a small safety deposit box embedded into the wall which was a thoughtful touch. There's a rooftop terrace which is used for drying hotel laundry and I think 3 additional rooms. Good for enjoying the setting sun over the rooftops. Breakfast was a typical Turkish spread of salad vegetables, ham, hard boiled eggs, cereal, breads, honey, jams, butter, coffee and a selection of teas. Not the usual continental brekky, this. The breakfast room overlooks a small garden. Within shouting distance of the guesthouse and along its small street are laundry facilities, barbershops, bakeries, provision shops and a small lokantas (neighbouhood eatery). There are shortcuts to the main street which, just like Turkkuyusu, radiates out from the Castle/port area. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you are budget-conscious and want a neighbourhood feel. It's a smallish establishment, but big on heart.

Great for stopover

We came by bus from Pamukkale and stopped here for a night before catching the ferry to Kos then Santorini. It was very close to the otogar and also to the port. The place was clean and the staff was nice. The rooms we got were on 1st floor and they weren't small as some reviewers mentioned.

Great location

Just in heart of bodrum. Average breakfast but clean room and around. No view at all beside walls from my room. (203)

The staff was very helpful and the hotel is in a great location to walk around town. The room is very tiny and without counter space or shelf space in the bathroom. Not even anywhere to hang the towel.

Close to the port

Melis Pansiyon is very clean and comfortable accomodation close to the port and bazaars of Bodrum. Ideal for a night or two before embarking on a ferry to the Greek Islands. Our host assisted us to organise the return of a rental car and to enable us to print off e-tickets which we had booked since leaving home. Breakfast was fresh and adequate.

Value for money and very close to city centre

Walking distance to the main bus station (Otogar) and heart of Bodrum. Basic facilities but given the low price we paid it is a great value for money.

Trop bruyant mais bien placé

Dommage que ce soit indiqué avec parking, le parking est à 500m et payant (tout de même une petite ristourne). Nous n'avons pas dormi de la nuit, ca criait dans l'hôtel toute la nuit et on entendait le voisin ronfler comme s'il était dans notre chambre.

Gute lage, nettes und hilfsbereites personal, einfache aber saubere Einrichtung. Das einzige negative ist, dass die wände sehr dünn sind und man alles vom Nachbarn hört. Ausserdem z.t fragwürdige Gäste, dafür kann die Unterkunft aber nichts dafüe

Fiyat/ Performans Açısından İdeal Pansiyon

Kos tatilimiz öncesi 1 gece Bodrum’da konaklamak için bu pansiyonu tercih ettik. Kaldığımız oda temizdi. Pansiyon çok merkezi bir konumda olduğu için ulaşımda bir sıkıntı yaşamadık.

Girer girmez ilgi ile karşılandık. Oda temiz ve düzenliydi bir sıkıntı yaşamadık hiç. 3 kişi rahatlıkla kaldık. Buzdolabının soğutması biraz yetersizdi ve çok küçüktü sadece. Merkezi konumda olmasında oldukça avantajlı oldu her yere kolaylıkla gidebilirsiniz. Otobüs durağı 5 dk yürüme mesafesinde. Her şey için tekrar teşekkürler 🙏

Çok temiz çok güzel aşırı aydınlık ve ferah odası var. Çalışanlar güler yüzlü ilgili ve alakalı. 24 saat sıcak su var.

Ich würde diese Unterkunft nie wieder wählen trotz der guten Lage. Das Personal war super unfreundlich. Wir mussten ewig auf unseren CheckIn warten, da die Reinigungskraft ganz offensichtlich lieber durch die Gegend getingelt ist und sich mit den Kollegen unterhalten hat. Hinzu kam dass wir aufgrund einer OP am Fuß nach einem Zimmer im Erdgeschoss gefragt haben. Er sagte er hätte ein Dreibettzimmer und wir müssten drauf zahlen. Als meine Tante, die später 2 Stunden später eingecheckt hat, nach einem Zimmer im Erdgeschoss gefragt hat, bot er ihr gleich mehrere Zweibettzimmer an. Auf meine Nachfrage warum er es uns nicht angeboten hat, sagte er ernsthaft wir hätten ihn so nicht gefragt. Es sind noch einige Dinge vorgefallen, die ich jetzt hier noch aufschreiben könnte, was aber den Rahmen sprengen würde. Alles in allem würde ich jedem von dieser Unterkunft abraten.

Die Unterkunft ist absolut empfehlenswert. Die Lage ist sensationell. Die Pension befindet sich direkt im Stadtzentrum und ist dennoch Abends ruhig. Besser geht's nicht. Beim nächsten Besuch gerne wieder.

Mein Mann und ich waren für eine Übernachtung da gewesen. Das Zimmer ist zwar klein und die Ausstattung ist nicht wirklich neu, dennoch sehr friedlich. Im Bad war das nötigste enthalten. Das Klima war super, sogar über Nacht viel zu kalt gewesen. Das Hotel befindet sich relativ zentral und ist 5 Min. vom Club Vittoria entfernt. Trotz dem ist die Lage sehr ruhig und wir konnten super schlafen. Das Bett ist allerdings für zwei Personen etwas eng und nicht wirklich bequem. Außer ihr schläft gerne auf harten Matratzen 😃 Im allgemeinen sind wir mit allem zufrieden und würden nochmal kommen.

Odalar çok küçük, burada konaklayacaksanız en az 50 TL otopark ücreti ödemeyi göze alın. Ayrıca cadde üstünde olduğu için odalarda sürekli yoldan geçen araçların sesi var.

Impression of "Melis Pansion"

The stay at the "Melis boarding house" was very good. We were very well received, accommodated in a room and received all the information during our stay at the hotel. The hosts are there for any information and help in any way. The room was very clean and prepared for us, the bathroom as well. The dining room and breakfast were great, everything fresh and clean. Beautiful yard for coffee after breakfast, the yard needs a little tidying up. The final impression is very good and I give all the recommendations for staying in this hotel. Боравак у "Мелис пансион" је био веома добар. Веома добро смо примљени, смештени у собу и добили све информације за време боровка у хотелу. Домаћини су ту за сваку информацију и помоћ у било ком погледу. Соба је била врло чиста и припремљена за нас, купатило такође. Трпезарија и доручак су били одлични, све свеже и чисто. Прелепо двориште за кафу после доручка, двориште је потребно мало уредити. Завршни утисак је веома добар и дајем све препоруке за боравак у овом хотелу.

Fena değil

Konum çok iyi, kahvaltı fena değil, odalar dar, özellikle tuvalet banyo çok dar, dışarı çıkınca(kartı çıkarınca) elektrik gidiyor. Dolayısıyla döndüğümüzde klimayı doğrudan yüzünüze alıyorsunuz, bunun iyi olduğunu düşünmüyorum. Bu arada personeller çok somurtuyordu.

Çok üst düzey beklentiniz yoksa tereddüt etmeyin.

Merkezi konumda oldukça temiz ve yenilenmiş bir ortamı mevcut.Gürültü yada rahatsız edici ortam yok. İşletmecisi Adnan ve Sergen beyler kendi işleri dışında yardımcı olma konusunda oldukça iyiler. Kahvaltıları orta seviyeli. Hemen karşıda bulunan otoparktan ücretli (indirimli) yararlanma şansı mevcut. Gönül rahatlığı içinde kalınabilir.

Merkezde hesaplı bir otel arayanlara

Otele akşam çok geç girip sabah çok erken ayrılmak zorundaydım. Çok fazla bir beklentim olmadığı için genel anlamda memnun kaldığımı söyleyebilirim. Otelin konumu çok merkezi. Odam temizdi ve resepsiyondaki beyefendi çantamı üst kata taşıyarak bana yardım etti.

Mükemmel

2 gün pansiyon misafir oldum bu süre içinde herşey mükemmeldi. Ayrıca yusuf bey ve adnan bey samimiyetleriniyle gönlümü kazandı. Herşey için teşşekür ediyorum :)

Otelin konumu harikaydi. Oda cok ufakti ama sadece yatmaya otele girdigimiz icin bu konuda bir sikinti yasamadik. Tek sikintisi havlularimizi ve mayolarimizi kurutabilecegimiz bir yer olmamasiydi.

Great location, super clean and friendly staff and fair price! I would stay there again!
