Perfect hotel for summer vacation, fully equipped with 2 pools, spa and good breakfast. Beach views are great also.
Parking was also free and easy to park.
Everything was good about the property except you need to pay for the beach chairs which is 10 Euros and 3 Euros for the umbrellas and the company which charges you at the beach is quite nasty and rude when you asked him why should we pay for the chairs and got angry and used bad words! That was quite a bad taste in my mouth! But staff were quite quick, helpful and friendly I give the staff 10 stars!
Staying here is like visiting the paradise. We love !
The staff and service is excellent! Check out and check in excellent. The Level is worth it. Staff work hard and are very accomodating and helpful. They responded to every issue rapidly. Canadians with families must visit. Excellent hotel for families!
Excelente servicio me hicieron sentir como en casa gracias
The hotel was fine and well maintained. However, as the facilities were shared with the sister hotel, it was very busy at the pool. We never got to use any of the pools in our hotel as the loungers were taken all day. Very annoying. The service and most of the staff were terrible. From the front desk right throughout the hotel. Breakfast was fine but very unhealthy. I have never seen jars of sweets left out in a buffet breakfast. All the food was was sugar laden unfortunately. Hard when travelling with children. Everything seemed to be an effort with staff. Very, very unhelpful and unfriendly. Very disappointing. The only good point was Dani who worked the breakfast service. Lovely young lad. Really friendly, kind and helpful. Best part of the holiday. The rest of the staff could learn respect for customers from Dani. I didnt like the pushiness of the staff trying to sign me up for repeat Melia business. Really off putting. I will not be returning.
We were a family of five. We booked two rooms, 304-305. It was like being in a sewer, unbearable and very bad. We complained almost every day, but no one took us seriously. I assume that the problem with the smell in the hotel rooms or in the hotel is known. The staff is rude, inexperienced and arrogant. The entire facility sucks and you can tell that the Spanish are ungrateful and arrogant. No programs for children. No chance for deck chairs. Loud music everywhere. We're glad we're flying home and free of the smell. We will definitely not visit the hotel again and will not recommend it to others.
The price we pay can afford us more comfort and a better place.
Great service
SO DIRTY, room smells like toilet and the dirty spots on everything like toilet and bed was still there....room was so old amd litteraly the photos that you see is not same as Real HOTEL. Room service cant speak english and doesn't know what is slippers and toothpaste are .!!!
Facilities
The alcohol was bad , the walls are so thin that we couldn’t sleep at night because so much noise ! Overall the pool was cold the beach water was cold I just didn’t like it at all ! Even the food was not good .. the rooms and hotel was clean
very disappointed
We traveled over for 24hrs hopping to have a room ready but they made us wait more than 4 hrs, my bathroom was durty , the safe did not work and the room smell like methan gas, putried, we complain dayly but they kept saying that they call us but when they did we were already out for the day, very disappointed
Not bad for the price nice views good location breakfast could've been better
This was my 3rd time staying there! I love the resort and it’s just a great place to spend a few days to relax!
Don’t stay here.
Denied access to room till 1530 despite checkin posted for 3pm. Priority girl ignored me. Requested minibar cleared - took 5 1/2 hours. Requested bar and restaurant menus but told to use qr code on tv. After 2 days realised there were many qr codes! So because reception staff so unhelpful chose to spend my money elsewhere. If hotel wants to increase revenue, just put info on room, or have printed copies for those who ask….and send reception staff on customer training. Breakfast buffet was lovely and restaurant staff fabulous. Overworked on 24 April due to conference bookings. Hotel runs a 2 tier service with higher level being treated as human and lower level dismissed as scum. Hence I do not recommend and I will never stay in another Melia again! My email complaint to reception after 5 attempts to get my mini bar emptied went unanswered, which highlighted how little they valued my custom. Also Wi-Fi kept dropping out so had to rejoin over 20 times again. Guess the Level guests got better Wi-Fi connectivity. Felt like every effort made to force guests to choose The level option next booking but management need to know that this strategy will alienate many clients. Duvet on bed but no duvet cover….go figure. Sheet underneath and sheet on top that both get so tangled up in the night…..bonkers. Gym and pool lovely. Hotel spoilt by dismissive reception staff and left feeling sterile and pretentious. Not for me and they could do so much better.
Great hotel at the great location, staff is very helpful and polite. Food is varied and tasty at the breakfast. The only thing we didn’t like - paid Sun beds at the hotel designed area at the beach, too expensive, 15 euros per person or 60 for Bali bed. Anyway, the overall experience was very good.
Love
We love it here! The hotel is amazing. The rooms with the sea view are to die for. The parking is great and it’s so close to Palma.
Overall the hotel and location were great, we did enjoy our time there. However, there were a couple items that spoiled our overall view of the Hotel. Prior to booking the trip, we read reviews and some mentioned being charged for the minibar even though they didn't use it. For that reason, we took photos of the minibar the day we arrived and again the day we left. It was untouched, yet we were charged for it after we left. In addition, we suspected that they were reusing food from the breakfast buffet and on our last day, we noticed that some of the bacon had actually spoiled. It had the distinct sour/sweet smell of spoiled meat.
Marta was super helpful, friendly, and professional Some rooms were so so. Room 222 with "partial ocean view" was a view of the industrial roof top. We paid to upgrade to a better room, which was worth it for us. Pool hours are strictly enforced 10am-6pm on all pools. Outside pool water is cold, even in August. Inside, small pool is warmer. Much of the staff can be pretty snappy if you go outside the strict rules, such as trying to get your premium level free drink 2 minutes early, etc. Adrian and Marta were great, however.
Property is located centrally with east access to Calvia beach and many restaurants. Boardwalk like strip that has shows and restaurants at your fingertips. Hotel provided beach towels with free exchange. Bars and restaurants on site. Great property and would recommend.
Was here for work, stagger were helpful hotel was clean and breakfast was great
The beach, pools and lounging areas were lovely. It was a prefect Mallorca home base for water sport day trips.
We loved our stay and everything that was included. They have an awesome program for kids too . Overall amazing
Expected better
Is this 4th time and my last time at this hotel. The management need to provide customer service training to some of their staff and rooms are now looking tired and are in need of refreshment.
great views of the sea from restaurant spot.
Staff was not helpful and struggled to smile. Food was below average
Nice Property, walk to the beautiful sandy beach & swim in the most clear water with the fishes.. you can literally see your feet ! Wonderful buffet breakfast and courteous & friendly staff who really want to make your stay comfortable & enjoyable. Thank you !
Definitely recommend booking the Level Suit room, the view was bsolutely beautiful. Plenty of restaurants nearby and in walking distance. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with the staff on multiple occasions.
Nice view, sadly it was mostly blocked by a tree, evem though we were had a level floor room. Staff all vety pleasant, but sadly there was no comsierge to help with recomendations for the area. Fantastic bathroom toiletries.
Very close to the beach, delicious breakfast, snacks and drinks always available, amazing staff!
Nice hotel.3 pools food very good 😀 Could do with more staff on pool bar
It was all very good.
Superb hotel. Beds very comfortable. Extremely clean, staff were lovely nothing was a problem. Second time we’ve stayed. Stunning sea views from bedroom
Great location and views. Great facilities
Super Staff
Staff are super helpful and nice.
Everything was great. Amazing stay, views from the hotel were great. The only downside was that the TV didn’t have English TV apart from the news but besides that everything was great. Spacious room, space for clothes etc. Balcony isn’t completely closed off, others on your floor can see onto your balcony (not completely but a fair bit). Great stay. Very clean. Dinner is 35 Euros per person and in my option is not worth it. Only downside.
We had a sea view and it was bomb. Staff was friendly and flexible. What we liked was the extra towels for the beach, breakfast was great, it’s 2 min. near the beach. What we didn’t liked was: you can hear noises from the corridor and neighbors, balcony no privacy, opening times to eat was not clear, the elevator took to long, wifi connection on floor 8 was too low and in the bathroom was always too hot.
Stayed here before and will stay again.one little gripe was the pool man hosing the area down when everyone had got on sunbeds instead of starting earlier
This is a lovely light and airy modern hotel. A credit to the Melia brand. Staff were good and excellent efforts on the cleaning fronts. Room and bed super and access straight onto the lovely clean sandy beach. It is on the edge of the bay and you can enjoy a less commercial quieter experience. One negative was the constant booming loud music around the pool from the neighbouring property Nikki Beach resort Hotel. And on one occasion the live music to Melia restaurant of the Melia guest offering was too noisy. Most probably I would return again.
Excellent
Really lovely! Can’t complain. Dealt with COVID very well
The wrist bands that allowed you to get in and out your room and add things to your tab.
Excellent facility, great breakfast, comfortable beds, gorgeous pool. Right on the beach.
Good hotel, nice staff and facilities. The breakfast buffet was ok, nothing special.
liked the location, on the beach; modern rooms, quiet family area / part of town. nearby supermarket ; parking was convenient; the concierge staff were helpful; I did'nt like that we had to pay for soft drinks including water at dinner time during the buffet/all inclusive option. I can understand paying for alcohol or specialty juices ; but water should be included in the basic price when one is paying for dinner. that needs to change!!!
DISAPPOINTING
Had one of the top 3 suites. 1st night; no AC w/ lots of mosquitoes. Night food menu was only 3 options of wraps.Charge you for phone bills for calling Rm Service. Blood stained pillows, make-up stained doors, broken walls in "luxury suite of $500+/ night, was there for 6 nights. You had to ask for hand soap every day as none as left when room is cleaned. Parking card was non functional, through out as well as the buzz in button, you have to walk to reception to ask them to let you in every time you want to park your vehicle, plus staff were really rude and gave attitude. Hotel booked jet-ski activity for me asking me to go to a specific club at 2.15pm,the said club staff said jet-ski wasn't offered there.Called hotel to inform them of situation, said they did call me back which they did not. Was there for over 40 mins with no jet-ski personnel showing up. Called hotel again and said I was leaving. Got back to the hotel and they refused to refund my money. There was no apologies and lack of ownership on their part. Through out the stay, they made it seem like I was there for free & they were doing me a favor by my presence. I have been to other hotels with less price per night and have received amazing experience and welcome. These guys made my stay a disaster. Spend your morning elsewhere.
An excellent and organised escape to Paradise !
The experience at Melia Calvia Beach Hotel was excellent ! The service both at the beach area, pool and outdoor facilities was timed, performed with great effectiveness and efficient. Restaurant contained an exquisite amount of choices, variety, quality and freshness. Cafe Nao was particularly impressive. The atmosphere of energising, welcoming and relaxing experience was aided by top-notched personnel. An Italian gentleman Alessandro was very professional, highly skilled, customer driven and professional. I am very pleased with the stay in this Hotel !
One of the best beaches on Mallorca! Friendly and helpful stuff, great amenities and excellent breakfast buffet. Definitely recommend!
Poor Management!
Check in process seemed like it was done by an intern. He did not know that the numbers of an amex credit card were in the back and he kept saying he could not accept the card. I stayed at another melia and payed with my amex so I knew they accept it. He also asked me to send the reservation via email so he could see my reservation. I showed him my phone and reservation ID. Anyway, got my two room barely at 3:40pm, had to wait 40mins to have the rooms ready, even if check in is a 3pm. At 9pm, we called bc the A/C was not working. They said "sorry but we don't have maintenance at this time". Next day, went to front desk and asked them to fix the A/C, but nobody was able to fix the problem and there were no other rooms. Complaint at check out and they said I was going to be contacted by quality department, which never happened. The Calvia area is good for water sports and on the low end party vibe. I would not recommend this hotel, there are so many other options that are better.
Friendly staff on reception and the hotel was very stylishly decorated. Quiet and an excellent breakfast buffet. Lots of space to sun bathe down by the pools as well.
Staff were incredible! Thank you all, and thank you Sol! Hotel was impeccable. Absolutely worth the upgrade to " The Level access". Would recommend anyone to stay here if looking to be by the beach and bars in Magaluf.
Nice location. Good pool and beach. Didn’t like the fact you had to pay for a beach chair on a beachfront property.
Lovely hotel spotlessly clean. The staff are excellent, as always.
The lifts need a refurb but aside from that the hotel is amazing, the staff are friendly and helpful and the food is quality! It is in a great location with amazing views of the ocean and the beach as well as easy access to the beach and if you want you can take a 5 minute stroll along the beach passing alot of nice bars and restaurants on your way to magaluf strip! Will definitely be staying her again!
Friendly staff, lovely room with beautiful views of the city and beach. I would consider going back again.
Spacious hotel right on beach.
We had a very late check-in (plane ran 2 hours late - arrived hotel 2:30am). Superb service. Fit-out is clean, modern and spacious. Felt very relaxing during entire stay. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful (even for non-spanish speakers). While it's a little weird that there is a bath in the middle of the living area of the hotel room, once in the bath, the view out over the beach is incredible.
Nice hotel next to the beach. It's very clean and friendly.
Very Nice Hotel, and very helpful and suite was very good
Good
Goog
Great hotel, upgrade to The Level - a MUST. Great selection of breakfast
Nice hotel with friendly staff , close to the beach and party areas
Very nice hotel close to the beach, shopping and restaurants within a few feet away. We traveled with our five year old and the kids club was amazing! They were very friendly and attentive and made sure my son had a fun and memorable vacation. The buffet was delicious with several options but the wait staff there were not as friendly, other than that the hotel staff was great and the amenities as well. We stayed with Level, which means you get exclusive attention and extra amenities such as other pools, soft drinks, water, and coffee throughout the day and there’s a cocktail hour in the evening as well. Overall we had a great time and will definitely return.
Excellent location
Staff was friendly, courteous and always have a smile on their face when helping you.
A nice property at Magaluf beach that’s not in the middle of the craziness but still walking distance! Hotel lobby is beautiful and cool- the rooms and hallways and elevators do not have adequate air conditioning ....it was very hot! Other then that great location and a great experience.
Great location, great hotel
Hotel was super clean and location was fantastic. Service was a little slow and water was crazy expensive as they refuse to serve from the tap. Other than that, it was fantastic!
Great Hotel - a real 4 star !
I sincerely recommend this Hotel. A real 4 star...not like some other hotels where 4 is more like 3. We've spend here 2 nights after moving form Sol Wave hotel which I found terrible. This Hotel is a far classier experience. The hotel interior is fabulous. It has a very nice specious lobby. It has even a little section where you can lie down and relax while you wait for check in. The service provided by the reception staff was great. The guy that was doing the check in even noticed that my brother had birthday the next day while he was scanning our passport. He gave us a room with spectacular sea view on the 7th floor and the next day when we came back from the beach there was a complementary bottle of champagne and birthday card waiting in the room. What I nice gesture. The room was very modern and clean. It had a 40+ inch flat screen TV - especially nice considering the world cup was on during our stay. The bathroom had a great shower and the toilet bidet combo. It had all the goodies you can expect including dental kits and bathrobes. The air conditioning worked well. We only had breakfast buffet at the hotel but it was good and there was a lot to choose from with some nice coffee and cake. Also the restaurant had a terrace overlooking the sea and while we were eating one of the staff was playing on a violin which was nice. The swimming pool was great - surrounded by palm trees and bigger than expected. And finally the location - the hotel is right next to the beach.
Lovely hotel
Lovely decor, lots of facilities, offer gluten free options. Hotel staff really friendly. Would visit again
Love it!
The hotel is amazing and so beautiful! The staff very lovely and helpful!
Fantastic hotel
It was a great vacation - Incredible service - Very comprehensive management - Very helpful staff - A touch of luxury at the Level section - Great house keeping - Amazing view from the balcony Thanks Melia Calvia Beach
Beautiful, but some notes.
Hotel staff was kind and patient. The room was clean and updated. I do wish they used real tubs/showers. Like many hotels in Spain, the opted for the partial glass wall. I really don't like that. The area is beautiful and lively. The pic on the website was slightly misleading. The beach chairs that belong to the hotel are on a no-sand, rocky/cement portion of the beach. So we walked down the beach to where we could lay down towels.
The hotel itself is lovely and set in a great location. The breakfast wouldn't be the best and you have to go and ask for tea etc rather than someone come to your table. The hot food would only suit people outside of Ireland and UK in my opinion. The bar area is quite slow. The rooms are kept very clean and they are of good size. If you want a nice hotel where you can relax at a pool and have nice room it's great
GREAT LOCATION GOOD VIEWS
Beautiful hotel and reasonably new but we were let down by a few small things. We booked 3 rooms and each room had maintenance issues. They were fixed but should have been attended to prior to coming.Check in very slow. Breakfast excellent and having entertainment with it exceptional. Disappointed that you had to pay extra to sit at beach club considering price of hotel. Staff excellent. Would definitely recommend the hotel.
3 days in Mallorca
Amazing resort, clean beautiful rooms, breakfast is outstanding. I wish the pool stay open longer hours but not a big deal since the sea is always there.
First class
We had a wonderful stay in the Level. The service was exceptional maybe a few less fish dishes would have added to the experience. Adriana was an angel
Gem in the rough
Loved the hotel, we took "level package" and upgraded sea view which was lovely Staff were excellent in all areas Only minor complaint was none of the pools were heated, few braved the frigid temperature which was a pity In general the area is touristy but the hotel is top notch
Nice hotel next to beach.
I didnt know what to expect of this hotel when booked but on arrival was pleasantly supprised.clean in all aspect.safe and next to beach.quiet part of town.good and refreshing breakfast...i even woke up early to eat it everyday of my stay.although i didnt use the pool it seemed to be clean as were the gardens.textiles in bedroom were nice and crisp everyday.nikki beach next door.
Rich with no style
Nice hotel pity about the hotel next door with there load music puissantly playing.
Fabulous hotel with great staff
Had a lovely stay, beautiful setting, great breakfast. Can do attitude of staff, the night porter got us coffee sachets when we came in late and wanted more coffee. Lovely Sophie on reception who printed us a bus time table, can't wait to go back.
Fantastic hotel! Beautiful and facilities excellent. Very clean. Should be a 5 star not 4!
Pearl at the end of the beach
Splendid hotel at the end of the beach. Tasty breakfast, not crowded at low season. Disco bar near the hotel was noisy but only day-time.
Great hotel for 30s and up. Right on the beach.
This is a great place for the mature crowd that wants to be in Magaluf and then wants to have a quiet place to rest. Cons are Nikki Beach would be very loud at night but otherwise great facility.
Luxurious hotel, close to beach and restaurants
We spent a long weekend at this hotel at the beginning of October for my birthday and the weather was still lovely and warm. The hotel staff were exceptional; very friendly and efficient. We only stayed on a bed and breakfast basis so cannot comment on lunch or evening meal but there was a varied choice of delicious cakes, continental breaksfast, cereals, fruits and cooked breakfast. The restaurant has an outside area with a stunning view overlooking the jetty and beach. The hotel was spotless and our room was cleaned every day. The hotel is in a perfect position. It is based in Magalluf which was quiet when we went but I can imagine can be a lot livelier in the summer months. We walked to Palma Nova one day which took us about 40 minutes and the next day we walked to Cala Vinas which is the other way and took us about 25 minutes. Cala Vinas is beautiful if you want a quieter setting and is just surrounded by a couple of hotels. It had a lovely beach bar with some very entertaining and happy staff! I would thoroughly recommend this hotel as I can't fault it in any way.
Newly refurbished and excellent location
Great location, excellent refurb and good value. Breakfast food selection good with a lovely terrace to look out to sea.
nice experience
Very clean throughout, near to the beach! Good food choices & very tasty... Good kiddies pool & adult pool. Staff very pleasant & helpful. Little more pricey on drinks & food if you've not gone all inclusive but there are plenty more affordable places to eat on the beach & the surrounding area. Not much on day & evening entertainment which could be a good or bad thing depending on the type of ambiance your looking for. Overall we would stay again!!
I didn't want to leave!
This trip was well worth every penny! My friend and I arrived late from our flight but the front desk staff was bright, polite, and very professional. Not only was check-in a breeze, they upgraded us! We were already reserved for a sea view room but was upgraded to the front sea view room which was AMAZING! It was on a corner of the hotel facing the water (about 50% of the walls were windows/balcony). Room service was quick and polite. Breakfast and dinner was outstanding! The bartenders at dinner service were probably the worst part of the trip. They were very slow. The first night I ordered a mojito with dinner and never received it after the waiter checked on it numerous times. I ended up finishing dinner with nothing to drink. The bartenders at the bar by the pool were OUTSTANDING! They were creative and made sangria the right way. If you're considering where to stay, don't look any further! Choose the sea view room, stay at least 3 days, bring comfortable walking shoes, don't rent a car (taxi was about 40 EURO to hotel), if you don't bring plenty of EURO it's no problem because there are plenty of ATMs around (one is right outside of the front of the hotel to the right). Many places take debit/credit cards too. This place was amazing! I will definitely stay there again if I visit Mallorca again. Magaluf was where it's at!
Great hotel
Great hotel but people reserving sun loungers was a problem and breakfast was a bit expensive (if not included)
Great hotel!
Staff is incredibly friendly and quality of food in the restaurant outstanding.
Very comfortable hotel to stay at
It was an amazing hotel to stay at. Staff all very friendly.
Brilliant hotel, expensive but worth it
Being vegetarians ( no meat fish or eggs consumed) the chef Carlos and Hukkam were fantastico in preparing brilliant meals for us, they really went out of the way as did most staff. The resturant and room cleaning staff are a testament to Spanish people absolutely fantastic, helpful and dedicated. Hotel on the beach, could do with sporting activities such as table tennis etc. Overall brilliant
Above Expectation
This was one of the best hotels we've ever visited. The staff was great the hotel was beyond great and the beach was wonderful. This was great family hotel.
Just a stone throw away from the beach.
Spent 4 nights in this lovely, clean and posh looking hotel. Friendly staff. Excellent childminding service.
Nice hotel, on the water, near everything
The hotel is great to sum it all definitely near everything. The property is brand new. The staff is another story. Either they are stupid or they like to act stupid. I did pay for an upgraded room with sea view. Well according to the idiots at the front desk even though I can't see the water and I have a row of trees that block my see view and all I can see is dirt, sky and trees I do have a see view.
New and well equipped hotel on the beach...
... but bad swimming pool management. It had to be closed on three successive days because a baby pooed in the water. To let that happen once was unfortunate, twice careless and thrice downright incompetent! The hotel should not be letting that happen. The housekeeping staff were a bit casual about their work. The hotel hardware is excellent.
Modern hotel close to the beach
Recently stay with my family at Melia Calvia and it was a very nice experience. The hotel was recently remodeled which makes it a great option for families Looking for beach proximity and modern accomodations at a reasonable price. Staff was very accomodating. Overall very nice.
We were not given the room with sea view as paid for ... Instead we got partial sea view with all the trees and parking garage underneath.
Excellent location close to the beach
We had a great time there and would definitely go back again
Lovely hotel
Very clean and comfortable hotel. The staff were amazing. The pool and pool area are really nice and the beach is so close that it feels part of the hotel. Just one criticism. We asked for a bottle opener for 3 nights and were offered somebody to come and open a bottle for us and our own opener the next day but it never materialised in any of our three rooms. However, the hotel is so wonderful that we were happy to overlook this.
The hot food on offer was not displayed As to what each dish was,if was warm and was tasteless.we tried it once and did not repeat the ecperience. The eggs at bteakfadt needs to be presented better on the plate each morning the eggs where overdone and Dumped on the plate cos the eggs were Sticking to the grill

We had a great stay! We especially enjoyed the easy beach access and the great Level services. In addition, both Tatyana on the Level floor and Jonathan at the front desk helped to make our stay excellent with incredible personalized service.
