Not returning.

Way too over priced. Valet was extortion took 45 minutes to get our vehicle despite calling ahead of time. Our room was near the “engine” room for the elevators. We heard the motors running for our entire stay. The pool side food was ok drinks were highly overpriced.

We were not impressed with the staff. No one offered or help to bring our luggage in upon arrival. Check in line was long. The room was very basic considering it was $500 a night. The service just didn’t match the cost.

Double charged

The stay was great. Unfortunately I was double charged for some reason. and not a fan of paying to park at the hotel I already paid for.

Booked here for the lazy river for our kids; it was under maintenance the entire trip. Hotel ran out of rooms with two queen beds but didn’t notify us at check-in; we discovered this when we opened the door to our room that we were all sharing one King bed. They offered a roll away and a $25 room credit for our inconvenience that night. After complaining to management about getting the room we booked they did offer to move us rooms. The manager said to go pack our bags and call the front desk when ready and a bell hop would come up to bring our new keys and help us move our bags. We packed, we called, but no one came. We called again, no one came. Finally we went to the front desk and asked the manager for the keys ourselves and moved our own bags. The two queen room was pleasant for the last two nights Oz the stay. However, when I checked out they upcharged us for the two queen room to $678 per night. The original reservation I made was 3 nights, two queen beds, rate was $550/night. Management would not budge on correcting the rate when the room debacle was their mistake.

Did not enjoy the load music, yelling, and cars and trucks performing "burnouts" and "engine revs" late into the evening from an impromptu car rally in adjoining parking lot.

Bathroom looks so cheap. I book for the room with bath tub but when I got there it doesn't have it.

Such an amazing pool deck. Wish they were heated in winter. 2 hot chocolates were $26, crazy.

Great hotel

I had to pay out of pocket because I arrived early don’t pre buy you room if you plan to use it after the club or late night

We booked a last minute room here and paid a high rate for one night because we wanted to see the rooftop christmas lights. First, when we got there, there were many holiday events happening at the hotel and a cheer event that caused valet to be full. When we pulled up to valet in the midst of a horrible traffic situation, we were shocked to find out that valet was full due to people that weren't even staying at the hotel and paying customers couldn't use this service. My husband and I were only in town for one night due to a hospital follow up from my recent brain surgery. We had bags and so my husband pulled up to the person with valet that was directing traffic and told her he just wanted to drop me off with the bags and would go find parking. She would not allow him to pull in to do this and obviously we couldn't stop traffic and get out in the middle of the road. The valet lady have us extremely poor directions to the parking garage. It took us literally two hours to find it, get around traffic, find a place to actually safely park our large truck and then walk a very long distance with bags to find the hotel lobby in the rain. Oh and it cost too much to park in the parking garage. We complained to the front desk and he apologized for the valet but did nothing to make it right. We had paid for a club level room but got there too late to use it because it was after 8:00. The lights were just minimal and nothing to brag about. Poor service, waste of money.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE

This was my second stay here. The pool and lazy river are NOT HEATED. Hot tub was crowded with children, screaming and splashing. The sign for the hot tub clearly states No kids under the age of 18, the staff did not enforce this. The TV in the room didn’t work properly. Only two towels in the bathroom. The room itself isn’t worth the price I paid. Overpriced drinks at the bar and they were not good. Food is expensive and subpar. I had a lot of issues with guest services. I won’t stay here again. Don’t waste your money staying here!

Ignored by staff when walking in to pool area. Front desk clerk was excellent. Comfortable beds relaxing wake up. Great streaming options. 24 hour room service…great service!! Great view!

Nice, but...

Loved the hotel and restaurant. The problem was the parking. $45 to park my own car and $65 for valet seemed excessive to me. Pools were fantastic.

The staff were very welcoming. The room was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel! 10/10

There was alot of homeless around this property. Some were rather aggressive.

Stuff

I stayed to see Tonight’s Conversation, I valet parked my truck, enjoyed my stay, ordered room service; which was complementary and deducted from my final bill. I LOVED it. You definitely get what you paid for. I didn’t get a chance to get in the pool, but I will be back. I also had a magnificent view of the City from the 17th floor.

More time for the price, it's worth it. I like everything except the little time they give you to spend in the hotel.

This property was amazing I loved it dearly and I can’t wait to return.

We were celebrating an 18th birthday with family and friends. The rooftop pool area was amazing.

Pool was relaxing. Lots of space even when packed. Room was clean and spacious.

Love this hotel. However, I hate that they stopped letting us bring our own floats to the lazy river. Weve been 5 times in the last 5 years and this was the 1st time they wouldnt let us.

The signage was troublesome regarding the elevators as to which goes to which floors needs to be prominent in each set of elevators. Event locator in lobby was non-existent or pretty well hidden. M Club sign needs to be on wall facing elevator outlet. Just some constructive criticism about small frustrations in an otherwise great hotel.

Everything about this this place was amazing for family or just a getaway couple weekend.

Pool

It was pretty lively, Discovery Green had plenty of festivals and activities going on Friday and Saturday. Got to watch a concert by the George R. Brown. And as far as property experience goes, it was amazing, pool was great! We got massages at Pure SPA and it was an exceptional an outstanding; would definitely be back, went for our anniversary and enjoy our stay.

Loved it

The room was cozy, the bed comfy....but the pillows were not. The pool area is wonderful. We did do any of the dining options. Our only negative were the pillows and the street racers outside!

The walls are thin, feels cheaply made. Lots of outside noise heard from 9th floor. The Texas pool was a lot smaller than i expected.

Bedding comforter was very thin, but overall the room was great - pool area outstanding! Hotel offered lots of dining/drink options, food was great!

The hotel is really nice. I enjoyed the lobby and the bar. The swimming area was great. The only problem I had was the room didn’t have a microwave had to go all the way downstairs to heat up food. Also that bed was hard as hell very uncomfortable. Other than that it was good.

I requested a late check out for noon. Every hour on the hour housekeeping knocked on my door, like thanks for your $600.00 GTFO. No door tag available, safe has a glitch and this is the second time I paid for a king size bed and still received 2 queens. We are staying downtown this next weekend and going Hilton all the way. Money is hard enough to come by, at least let our stay be enjoyable. I spoke to the housekeeping manager, I did not ask for anything he could not do anything, then get staff that understands English.

Staff was rude from start to finish during our stay. Won't stay again.

Great location and comfortable

The lobby is spacious and inviting. We enjoyed the pool for a couple hours and had lunch at the pool side restaurant. It was a busy day and food and drinks took a long time to come out once ordered. Rooms are a comfortable size and clean. We will stay here again.

We had a great stay, only negative need to do something about concrete around pool. Can’t have sandals on everywhere and it’s very hot on feet.

Quick 1 day getaway

Great hotel, great service, pool is a lot of fun. It’s expensive but you get what you pay for. Great for a 1-2 day getaway.

Uncomfortable bed

This is my second time staying at the hotel. The first time it was great but on an upper floor. This go around the room was hot and the bed was so uncomfortable. Great hotel other than that! Lots of fun at the pool. Met cool people.

We got to the hotel early and were able to get our room very early and head to the pool. We had a great server at the pool and was so surprised she put a note under our door thanking us. We have never had that happen. We had drinks at Cava and the bartender was outstanding. Overall experience was one of the best I have had.

For the price, the room is pretty dated. But the pool is very nice.

Beautiful hotel. Very accommodating. Easy access to restaurants and entertainment. Will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic hotel! 5-stars no doubt. I had an excellent experience with the hotel and restaurant staff! Everyone from the room service to the valet were very friendly. Food and drinks were amazing. The rooftop amenities really made a huge difference. Best roof top bar and pool I’ve ever seen!

Very disappointed

It was my daughters birthday and wanted to see her first astros game and enjoy the pool. Hotel knew the pool wasn't working, knew tv's weren't working, had a conference where elevator use was very difficult at times. They could have sent email stating due to storm the hotel is like any other 1 star hotel. Heck even 1 star hotels have at least a microwave. There management dropped the ball. Hotels l com tried to contact them to get some kind of resolution but they said no. So we spent close to 2 grand for a hotel with no pool access, not even to take pics. No television and 10 minute wait to get on elevator. Needless to say we were very disappointed since we had just driven 6 hours to get there.

Coffee maker didn’t work. Pool was closed. There was was just nothing special about the place except it was about a 5 minute walk to Minute Maid Park (Astros).

I loved it

I loved it! I will be coming back, however look into parking before you decide to park with the hotel is cheaper and is in the same parking garage, public & hotel.
