Amazing view and comfort place

Excellent experience. Amazing hotel conveniently located beside a large mall. Restaurant quality as well as amenities were superb. The front desk representative who checked me in and assisted with procuring a room for my stay was friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. I had a reservation through Expedia and when I arrived at the hotel the type of room I chose was fully booked so she went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of. I wish I remembered her name! Please pass this message to her and her supervisor if you can somehow check!

Short and Sweet Stay

Got upgraded to a better room and higher floor which was beautiful. The breakfast buffet was Yummmmm a Must Try. Food quality and variety was very good too.

The property is in great location. Although clean, it had a musty carpet smell all over the place specially the rooms. It was unbearable; I had booked them after seeing their room without carpets in pictures. When we brought up this isssue with the staff, they were very accommodating; they gave us a room without carpets. However, the whole thing just took out 2-3 hrs of our already short stay.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Great breakfast options as well as variety of cuisine available from the other restaurants. You can go directly to the City Centre mall via the second floor which was a nice surprise; I brought the wrong cables to charge my devices but nipped out to buy the right ones within 10 minutes. There’s also a link to the Metro now from the mall so you can catch a train without going outside. The hotel is conveniently located, most of the things I wanted to do were a short Uber/Metro ride away. All staff were helpful and friendly from the door to reception, restaurants and the pool. Only thing to be mindful of is there is loud music from the poolside restaurant and the Aqua Lounge on the 7th and 8th floor. I was on the 9th floor so directly overlooking them, wasn’t too much of an issue though as I just put my headphones on and they seem to be done at midnight; I’m sure they would have moved me if I asked.

I recently stayed at the Marriott Marquis city center Doha and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel valued and comfortable throughout my stay. The room was beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and offered a stunning view of the city skyline. I appreciated the attention to detail, from the plush bedding to the well-stocked amenities. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals with a variety of options to suit all tastes. The hotel's location was also perfect, conveniently situated near major attractions and public transportation. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations in every way, and I can't wait to return!

Marriott Marquis was a great stay!:) The room was very comfortable & pleasant. I had a nice view! Customer service, especially Joy was very nice. From the door to the front desk was very good. The breakfast buffet had a lot of selections & the room was clean & bright. The area was walkable & connects to the mall. The Lobby, Aqua Lounge, Tulum & pool was very relaxing. There’s a lot of comfortable sofas & tables to relax & a flat screen tv. It felt safe to walk & travel around. I can’t say enough about Marriott & give it 10 💫

Great Hotel

This hotel was fantastic. The rooms were spacious, the pool was great, the breakfast was amazing, and the staff was very friendly. It also connects to the mall for easy access. The only issue we had was the staff was honestly too helpful. They would call us multiple times a day and the cleaning crew would come to the room multiple times a day and ask us, did we need anything? I know that's not a big deal, but it gets annoying after the 5th time that day asking I we need anything. If I needed something I would ask.

A perfect experience. Friendly and competent front desk staff like Amin. They upgraded me to a suite. Excellent rooms. Great Doha views. Large pool and gym fully equipped, never crowded. Good restaurants, excellent breakfast buffet - with staff such as Latifa, Pinar or Marwa. Very quiet. Good TV channel choise Close to metro station. I almost cried when I had to leave. Perfect ten.

The best place to stay in Doha

The staff here cannot do enough for you so kind and attentive. Our cleaner for the room was very friendly and gave us plenty of water for the room. We got upgraded for our room and the view was stunning. It made the start of our honeymoon extremely enjoyable.

The hotel is in a great location; adjacent to the mall and to the metro station. The rooms and public areas are immaculate. The executive lounge needs to cater for guests with dietary needs.

Overall a good hotel. Check-in was friendly and welcoming. All staff were very good. Great choices of restaurants and bars (sadly many still allow smoking). Cucina was outstanding food. Brazilian restaurant great but way over priced. Room was spacious but a 5 star hotel with no face washcloths or charging point next to the bed is not 5 star…

Noisy even in upper floors. Paid for 5 guests and the suite had beds for 4 only. The hotel requested extra money for the 5th guest bed on arrival. Not recommended.

I loved the spacious rooms,i was travelling around Europe for 2 month's, i can assure you that no room, or bed nor cleaning service was upto the excellent standard of this hotel.We loved the service and welcoming nature that all front concierge and lobby staff has. Every staff member at the front desk was excellent, throughout our whole stay.Also from all the hotels we visited, the buffet breakfast was outstanding and delicious, the presentation and service, Thankyou we cant wait to return,and before i finish the location adjoining the shopping centre was amazing, if i can give 100stars i will.

Lengthy explanation

Our stay at the Marriott was fun, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with great views!! But they rooms could use a little more update when it comes to convenience such as electricity plugs by the beds to allow for phone charging. However it was great. The best thing about the Hotel though would be the ease of entering the mall internally hassle free. It allowed us to go there for every meal, as the food in the hotel was always overpriced and not too superb.

This has to be one of the best hospitality experiences we had! We were greeted with water and wet towels and offered chocolate at check in! Room was actually a suite in impecable condition with an amazing view. Couldn’t ask for better!!

Very friendly staff and considerate of our needs. We decided to have a stope over in Doha on our way from Paris to Melbourne. We arrived at around 9 am at the hotel with lots of luggage and an infant and toddler. The reception was very nice and we had an early check in (Thanks Rilsan). Following day, our flight was at 9 pm. Zaharia at the reception accepted a late check out at 4 pm. Travelling with kids, hotel flexibility toward early check in and check out meant a lot to us. The hotel has a god range of restaurants and cafes. We had lovely buffet meals at Cucuina (thanks Lily Joy and others). And you can easily get into a big shopping mall directly from the hotel. Hotel swimming pool is fantastic and in summary we had wonderful time at this hotel before our long flight to Australia. We will certainly come back and stay here whenever we visit Doha or have a stop over.

I arrived at 7am, although check in at 3pm they checked me in straight away. Huge corner suite looking out to the beach, excellent pool and great service from the staff.

The property was pretty big and has amazing lively restaurants and is very convenient as it is located at the city center and is connected to the mall

Great hotel and next door to a large shopping area with everything you need. Received an upgrade to Suite room on 33rd floor due to a slight error on their behalf. The assistant manager was fantastic and gave me the upgrade for my troubles. Located in city centre with walking distance to a number of attractions.

I've stayed a good number of Marriott's to know that this one doesn't aspire to the Marriott standards...

Perfect hotel for business

This is an excellent hotel. The access to the business lounge on the 42nd floor is great. Had all my meetings there and there is a very good happy hour every night including food and beer/wine/drinks.

When making my reservation, I had specifically requested a non-smoking room/floor. On arrival, I was told that my room was originally a smoking room (on a smoking floor) but had been converted to a non-smoking floor/room for the weekend, as the hotel was fully booked. The staff made no effort to accommodate my request. The room smelled like cigarette smoke all the time and I had to request housekeeping to come and spray the room several times during my stay. My clothes and hair constantly smelt of cigarette smoke. I was there for a business event and my suit smelt like cigarette smoke too. Not the best of impression to portray at an event. I complained the next day, only to be told that the manager of room allocations would be in at 9am and would contact me - he never did. I was really looking forward to my first visit to Doha, the city was amazing but very disappointed with my accommodation. Not sure why the hotel would ask you for your preference for a smoking or non-smoking room when they just disregard your preference and just put you into a room of their choosing. If you are staying at this hotel, I would double and triple check that they will accommodate all of your requests. If they can't do so, there are some great hotels in the area that I'm sure will accommodate your needs.

Loved my time there

From start to finsh I must say that I loved this place. The staff was so accomodating and friendly. The property is very modern but elegant, with large and beautifully furnished rooms. The my restaurant of choice was the Big Apple the food is excellent. I throughly enjoyed every bite! Thank you Marriott I'll see you again.

excellent for 2 but terrible for 3

The hotel is overall very nice especially the location and facilities. It opens to a great mall where you can find everything you need walking distance. While the beds were comfortable, they where very small, less than full and more than twin. It was impossible for 2 people to sleep one one bed and we were 3 adults in a non smoking room with 2 beds. there was no extra bed to request. Even 3 star hotels have queen beds that fit 2 people comfortably but this hotel has small beds. Otherwise it is fine.

It has all you need for a business trip

It has everything you need for a business trip. Good business Centre and very helpful staff. Enough power sockets in spread in the room and good WiFi! Plenty of choice for restaurants and plenty of restaurants around the hotel as well! Overall pleasant stay and will come back again!

Doha Marriott visit

Excellent service and memorable stay!!!

It was decent but didnt have my king gave a room with two singled , AC wasnt wirking and so was the mini fridge , engneerung fixed the AC and they said we could change the fridge my responce was dont bother since he was leaving at 5am next morning

Great place to relax.

I recently had the opportunity to enjoy the hospitality of the Marriott Marquis. The hotel's staff is what sets it above many of the hotels I visit. They are kind and professional, yet most of all, welcoming to a level that makes you feel as if your are visiting old friends. During my stay, I visited the New York Steak house. The manager, Ms. Melvy Geraldez went above and beyond to make sure the meal was perfect. The service there is more than what one would expect. I would recommend to anyone who might be looking for a hotel in Doha to come and see for themselves. Well done Marriott Marquis and The New York Steakhouse.
