Mosquitoes and bad TV in the room
When i got to the hotel i was impressed by the building. When i checked in, the front desk asked for my passport. She gave me my key and told me she would bring my passport to me in 5 minutes. She said she needed it for quite some time. I went to the room and waited. She never brought it to me. I then went to the pool because that is why i booked the hotel. The pool closed at 5 so it's only open a couple of hours a day. I then went back to the front desk after about 45 minutes to get my passport. I didn't get much sleep because the room was full of several kinds of bugs. The majority of the bugs were mosquitoes. Just as i was about to get to sleep, a mosquito would buzz in my ear or land on my face since i was trying to keep my whole body covered. I woke up the next day with tons of mosquito bites. The room is OK but the TV is comical. It's so small it's like watching a TV on the back of an airplane seat from across the room. The reception on the TV is very bad too. It's very fuzzy. The bed is low and hard. I was glad i only booked 1 night because i moved to a different hotel the next day.
this is a lovely hotel with all good amenities, and good value for money. The only thing I could fault would be that the location was a bit near to the main road.
Great place, staff does not speak English
Lovely place, super clean and comfortable. Nice restaurant, great little pool. You will need a car to stay in this hotel. Only one bartender and a night time receptionist spoke English witch is fine until there comes a problem, which you then cannot solve, because staff gives you only the good old nodd and smile. We extended our stay by one night and there was a mix up with the cleaning, no one came to clean our room, which we noticed only late in the evening. The next day when checking out we got the question if everything was great during our stay. I noted the missing cleaning but could not get anything through. It is not necessity to know English but please do even try to make the effort and use a translator or whatever when you can obviously see that the customer is not happy.
Love This Hotel!
Absolutely great hotel....I would not hesitate stay here any time. We go to Bulgaria every year, and this is now my hotel of choice. Helps that they have a wonderful breakfast and restaurant on the property.
Marina Residence Stay
Everything was well-organized and the service was nice. Spacious room with many pillows on the bed :).
Lovely little hotel. Rooms were clean, pool perfect to cool off and the restaurant food good.
Excellent stay
Hotel was quite luxurious. Great pool (says pool shuts at 5pm). Lovely large room and although the hotel is on a busy road the room was wonderfully quiet. Wifi very good and good TV selections. Thick towels etc. One very slight criticism no balcony in the room- most of the rooms have no balcony. Breakfast and coffee was good, a buffet or on a quieter day from a menu. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk to a nice small beach ( first bit down the busy road then on an underpass). Hotel is well situated for trips into Varna, (an easy 10 minutes by car) an interesting and lively town. Altogether a feeling of luxury and a very enjoyable stay.
Nice small hotel out of city center
Nice hotel with great staff, more than enough facilities like SPA, fitness, pool etc. Easy check in and out. Easy to find
Perfect home!
Where to start? This is not a rip-off place to stay, nor a cheap bed-for-the-night, it is perfect with its value and uber-friendly (the brunette working in the day was so sweet, helpful in getting anything done, as are others). Would certainly recommend it, in fact I'm getting "home sick" already despite extending another night just to take time-out. Perfect for work or even a holiday. The beach is abut 5-10 minutes walk down and it also has a pool and gym/sauna. Perfect nights. One of the best places I've stayed at for the value and the comfort.
varna
arrived early, no problem although our room wasn't ready we were offered pool towels and our luggage stored for us until it was. we were able to start our break early with no worries. room lovely, large, clean, toiletries provided and a kettle normally unheard of in europe

Nice hotel, but will need a car
Nice hotel with pleasant decor. Has had a major upgrade, as presumably, originally built as a luxury establishment in the communist era, in which times some of the staff are still living. You need a car or use public transport to get to the beach. It is close to the main road which you can hear in the pool area.
