Excelente experience in this hotel! The service and staff was perfect. Wakable to restaurants and center of the city.

Totalmente recomendable, Homero y Adriana nos ofrecieron un excelente servicio y hicieron que nuestra estancia fuera de lo mas agradable. Definitivamente regreso a este hotel, ademas de la muy buena ubicacacion este hotel tiene toques super originales y coloniales, me encanto que cada habiacion tiene un nombre asignado y como tal eso le da un toque muy original. Sin duda alguna lo recomiendo al 100!

Wonderful property!

Beautiful property, a little hard to find because some of the streets were closed. The front desk guy I believe his name was Sergio, was amazing. He walked out to look for us because we were having trouble. Hotel is small but absolutely beautiful. It felt so clean, and comfortable. 10/10 recommend!

This place is a hiddden jem. Incredible staff and location was perfect. Pillows and sheets were extra comfy. Room and accommodations were perfect. Quite and enough away from centro to overlook the town. Just perfect.

Beautiful hotel.

Hacienda feel with lush center courtyard. There are several steps to get up to the rooms and no elevator. Mentioned in case that is an issue. Our room was very comfortable. Clean sheets and bathroom. Good size room with wardrobe, chair and comfortable bed. Breakfast can be taken inside or out. Yogurt, granola, bread and fruit are included. Any type of eggs with beans and bacon can be ordered at an additional charge. The top of the hotel has a tremendous view of the city including the cathedral. There are several seating areas including a hot tub. We used the hot every night and enjoyed the night view of the city. The hotel is at the top of a very steep hill. Going down was fine but up was some work. After dinner we took an Uber each time.

This is a boutique property with a big house feeling rather than a hotel. Staff was extra friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Stay!

Had a wonderful stay at the property over 4 days. The staff was great and very accommodating. Perfect spot to see all that San Miguel has to offer. I would definitely stay again and would highly recommend this property.

We arrived around 12 noon and asked for an early check in, the manager could have easily asked the housekeeper to clean one of the room sooner but he decided not to. Other than that, the staff was nice and friendly.

Beautiful boutique hotel with very helpful management. Breakfast on upper level overlooking San Miguel delightful. Location good, 10 minutes from plaza. Would highly recommend.

Just finished my stay at this property. It was great! The room was very clean. Omero, Jorge, & Thomas could not have been nicer or more helpful. They also arranged for a car for airport pick-up/return that was clean and safe.

We had an unfortunate experience at this lovely little hotel. Our room wasn’t ready so we left our bags in the office for a few hours. When we returned, we discovered that the staff had loaded my college student daughter’s backpack (with her “while life” in it) into the car of departing guests. So stressful and it took a few hours to figure out what happened. The man working denied ever having seen the bag but when he called the other guests they confirmed they had the backpack. Late that night we got it back through the hotel’s efforts. They were very apologetic but still charged me for the one night!! We loved the outdoor spaces of this hotel and the breakfast was delicious. The room only so-so for the price, especially given our experience.

This is a beautiful hotel with very friendly and attentive staff. Jorge took great care of us. Made our anniversary special. He set up transportation and a nice tour. It’s walking distance to the downtown area and sites. Although San Miguel is hilly so walking back can be tiring. I highly recommend without hesitation.

Great service, beautiful place.

My husband and I really wanted to visit San Miguel. We were thinking which of the numerous beautiful places to choose. This place was the best! Great location, the property and the service were amazing. Homero who works there made our stay memorable, his attention to detail and service every moment were absolutely great. Thanks Homero! We will be back as soon as we can :)

Great boutique hotel with good location in SMA

Incredible boutique hotel with staff that knows how to treat guests. I traveled to San Miguel in a rental car and it's located right on a very narrow street that I didn't feel comfortable driving down so I parked the car on the Main Street leading into the town above the hotel and parked in an overlook parking lot. I figured I would walk to the hotel which was just a few minutes away then understand the best way to reach the hotel and park. The I arrived the staff offered to go and get the car and park it for me at the property which set the stage for a higher level of service that this property offers. The property itself is so beautiful and tastefully done with lots of lush plants and unique architectural features, art and statues throughout. The rooftop area has such an amazing view of the entire city below and features a rooftop hot tub and many different areas to sit. It was a great place to sit in the morning with my coffee and plan our days and a great place at night to relax after a long day of exploring this amazing city. The room was really beautiful, well appointed and the bed was so comfortable. The food offered in the morning by wait staff was a generous continental style breakfast of yogurt with granola a large and really fresh fruit bowl, and a pastry. Any request or question we had for the staff was quickly addressed as though the guest was the number one priority. When we go back to San Miguel De Allende we will return to Mansion!

This is a one of a kind place to enjoy. Carmen, Jorge, Tomas and Homero all went out of their way to accommodate us and to help with any request i had. What a amazing people. We'll be back without question. Absolutely no complaints at all.

The stay was great! Bars around, walking distance, buffet in the hotel great! Right price, and of course, restaurants and mall easy and fast acces from hotel

I love everything in the mansion

Property is beautiful and all rooms very well appointed. Staff was very friendly and they went out of their way to provide an excellent service. The terrace has a beautiful view and the rooftop bar is a great addition to the hotel.

It is a very beautiful place to stay, great room and accommodation. We missed to have some amenities as for instance a Bar in the rooftop which has a great view, or room service options.

I can't say enough about Mansion San Miguel. Our 5 night stay was everything we expected and more. The staff is incredibly friendly and took great care of us. The view from our balcony was great and the rooftop view was incredible. Located just outside of the busiest streets os SMA but very convenient to everything we wanted to do. Will definitely stay there if we return to SMA.

Beautiful courtyard and roof top view. Breakfast daily was simple and delicious. Room cleaning was excellent.

I liked Mansion San Miguel property and my room. Service was good to excellent. Mr. Jorje, reception desk, was very helpful and hospitable. He answered all my questions and booked a car for my return to Leon airport. Thanks for a very pleasant stay.

Great little hotel, clean and well maintained. The manager, Jorge, was great. Very helpful with a great knowledge of San Miguel. Olmedo was always available to help with anything you needed. Adrianna made a delicious breakfast. Everything fresh! Give it 11 out of 10!

Charming location

Amazing... accommodating ... friendly... staff cannot do enough for you.... best view of the city from terrace... good exercise to get to the hotel from downtown

Nice house in the middle of a hill, bring hiking shoes and make sure you are in good shape if planning to get in and out a few times a day. There is no food, only basic breakfast, eggs are at a charge. Beverages are limited to water and beer.

It is nice hotel in an old house, room was spacious and clean, with friendly and kind staff. Only F&B available at the hotel are breakfast and bottled water. The location is to the center, vía a challenging, very steep cobblestone road, bring adequate shoes and be prepared for a good uphill climb.

Could it get any better?

Absolutely one of our favorite stays out of the 20 places! This is a true gem. Wished we could have stayed longer, and we will next time! Walkable to the center, although the entire city is on a hill, but easy and short. This is a keeper. Our guide did not stay here and will be on her next trip!

Enchanting

What a beautiful little boutique hotel tucked away up a hill away from the main town plaza. Excellent service from Tomas and Jorge. Breakfast and coffee every morning in a beautiful setting with a gorgeous rooftop. It's quintessential San Miguel.

Wonderful stay at Mansion San Miguel! This hotel is a beautiful home, with a gorgeous patio, stunning rooftop views but above all with a natural homelike ambiance and Omero and Jorge were amazing hosts who treated us with incredible kindness throughout our stay. Our room El Deseo was perfect, cozy bedding, very clean and all amenities were very useful to our stay. Daily continental breakfast is a plus and Omero had our coffee ready for us every morning. This hotel is on a hill and yes it is a bit of a challenge the uphill return but it is all well worth it. Highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel, the view from our room over the city was excellent. Our room had a private balcony, breakfast included. Jorge, the concierge, was amazing, so helpful. Valet parking which is needed in those narrow steep cobbled streets! The rooftop seating was an excellent area to unwind. Great location. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay at Mansion . Jorge and Tomas were wonderful hosts and took care of our every need, taxis tours etc. I adored the rooftop patio as it was one of the best I’ve seen in San Miguel. Beautiful well maintained plants and flowers everywhere. The hill it’s on is a challenge to walk up. But cheap taxis helped

Ambience of this little boutique hotel was terrific. Terrace view of centro vista, and surrounding neighborhood was a treat!

My wife and I spent four wonderful days at this wonderful hotel. The staff was wonderful and incredibly helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the central courtyard was simply zen-like. Water fountains and birdsong provide calming background ambience. Breakfasts were tasty with a nice mix of local and familiar. Coffee was strong and my cup never ran dry. Thank you to Jorge and team for providing excellent dining directions and for the assistance with transportation around the area (e.g., hot springs). Kindness is a gift we give to each other and the folks at Mansion San Miguel made it clear they well understand how little details matter. We look forward to a future visit!

I loved thst they have only 8 rooms. Each one is unique. The prperty is fairytale gorgouse. The rooftop views are amazing. The staff is always eager to help.

The rooftop is great, location is perfect but we had noice from the house construction site next door.

Place is awesome for the price you pay! Highly recommended!

The room was beautiful. We really enjoyed the Terence as well and the view of San Miguel. The view from our room was different than the picture provided however.

Beautiful property close to everything with spectacular views!

Very disapointed of the place

They does not have pay TV (Sky, Cable, Direct TV) just Nexflix and you tube, they don´t have a restaurant to eat, you need to look for a restaurant that will bring you food, actually either the coffe in the all hotel.

Nice, quiet and peaceful

Hotel was very clean and organized and great to take pictures outside. Many plants and trees and a view of all San Miguel Allende. Staff was very helpful and understanding. Only issue we had was that the internet for the TV was very low signal and for the entire 4 days we had no TV. But I'm pretty sure it was just our room "Deseo". We did advise and only received an apology. Other than that, everything was great, nice, quiet and peaceful. One thing not mentioned was that even though we were 5 minutes from downtown be prepared to walk a very very steep street to arrive to the Hotel if you decide to walk. For that reason a few times decided to take a Taxi instead.

Beautiful hotel, fantastic service.

We had a wonderful stay, this is definitely on the list as one of my favorite hotels in SMA. It is a smaller, boutique hotel and what it lacks in services other bigger hotels offer, they make up in staff/service. The views from their rooftop are incredible and it is aptly located in town. Just be prepared to walk uphill at the end of your day when you're getting back!

The property is wonderful - unfortunately there was construction when we were there. Without that it was really great. The room was as shown - the courtyard was perfect for a glass of wine in the evening - watching the stars.

Jorge, Tomas, Lola, and Adriana were amazing! The room is VERY clean and cozy.

We were never informed that the hotel was having some renovations, lots of dust and noise, construction on the roof very noisy.

Enjoyed our stay at Mansion San Miguel. Our room (Cielito) was beautiful and spacious, and the private balcony was nice to have in the morning and evening. It got quite chilly in the room overnight so the gas fireplace was great to have (had a demonstration first). Only challenges were the noise of construction and the limited wifi (strongest near the office or in the kitchen) Breakfast was good but more variety would be nice for a longer stay.

Beautiful hotel, great location. Very steep and hilly access so we took taxi back and forth. There is a gas heater in the rooms and definitely needed it. January nights are chilly.

Beautiful, comfortable, extremely gracious and accommodating staff

It’s Ok here for the price !

I was happy with the hotel especially because I arrived sick with the flu and I hey we’re able to clean a room and get me in bed earlier than 3! Slept all day ! It was fairly quiet with a few hammer noises here and there on the rooftop from construction .. the rooms are very very small !! Breakfast was great in the morning It’s up a very steep street so taking your luggage up is no easy task! Make sure you get a ride there!

Grounds are maintained fastidiously. Staff are very caring and are always asking if there is anything they can do to help.

Lovely boutique hotel. The staff is attentive and friendly. Not a great view of the city center but there's an excellent 2nd level breakfast area that is outdoors. Water, coffee and tea is always available. The rooms are unique and each has character.

Such a beautiful property! And the staff are amazing. They washed a sweater for me- and charged me nothing. I hope to stay here again.

This place is a dump poorly located far away from town, my room was like a closet with no windows, bathroom flooded. There are only 6 rooms so they could not move me to another room. No accommodation was made for the terrible experience I had.

The Hotel Mansion San Miguel, is excellent with excellent staff, they make you feel like a royalty. This hotel is near to the plaza, the church and many restaurants. My husband and I had one of the best and wonderful vacation in San Miguel de Allende. We recommend this hotel with our hearts.

Gorgeous Property!! Great service! Omero checked us in, gave us a tour of the property, and was very helpful throught our stay. Short walk to historic attractions. We are definitely going back.

Small hotel (only 8 rooms) beautiful decor, rooftop bar, continental breakfast. Staff was excellent and very helpful. Loved our stay and would book again.

The rooms had individual charm. The roof garden was attractive. However, the breakfast was inadequate (a dish of fruit with yogurt and a couple of rolls) and often late (8 AM was the announced time, but that was optimistic). The walk uphill to this secluded spot pleased us, but it might be too challenging for some.

Everything about the property was excellent including the attentive staff! The only negative was our anticipation of having a full breakfast with eggs and instead were served fruit with yogurt, granola and bread each morning. We were informed that the breakfast was changed due to the hotel having lowered the booking prices. We would have appreciated knowing about the change prior to booking!

The architecture and set up of the house and rooms are unique and really well designed. The photos fall short of the actual experience. Having the TV is a great amenity as well as the bar and coffee . Free water is a really well thought warm climate was Best is the really friendly and helpful staff in many ways, from the welcome to the information and recommendations given and the check out... Outstanding!

We really enjoyed the whole experience, the staff can not be more friendly and accommodative, easy parking (they park the car), excellent costumer service, Jorge and Homero went beyond our expectations, we will recommend this property to everybody.

Property is beautiful. Where he is wonderful. However, too much noise from the adjacent property that’s building. There was also a gas leak from the neighboring property. We called Jorge when we were looking into the property (we saw some of the reviews about the noise) and he said there was not any noise because the construction was done. Apparently, there was another construction project over at the other neighbor that he was referring to. He should’ve told us the reality and that is there’s way too much construction noise during the day.
