Good location, not safe
The pros: The hotel is at an excellent location, inside a small shopping mall (millenium shopping) and close to another bigger mall. It is also close to centro (downtown). and halfway to the airport. The staff is nice, and the breakfast is excellent, with a variety of breads, fruits and breakfast meats. The cons: The wifi is horrible. It never worked well for all days that I was there. If you are here for work, and need wifi, be careful. One night a man entered our room. I screamed scared, and he claimed he entered the wrong room. The next day I brought it to the attention of the person in the reception who said he would let the manager know. 2 days went by and no one contacted me. I asked to speak to the manager, told him what happened he said he would investigate. He called me back at the end of the day and said he could not find anything on who entered the room, and that the key was not activated. I felt completely gaslighted. He offered nothing to apologize for this mistake. I did not feel safe for the entire remainder of my stay as I was a woman traveling alone with a child. I would not stay here again.
Bathrooms are not the cleanest. They don’t have a safe. The bed sheets don’t have the elastic to hold on to the mattress so if you move a lot you will be sleeping directly at the mattress. My brother’s bed felt like he was sleeping in a deep hole. The restaurant was good and we ate excellent fish. I love the city view and that the hotel is next to the millenium shopping and close to the Amazonas shopping but not coming back.
Close to everything I was needing. Breakfast was good but not great
The front desk staff, with the exception of a few members, was NOT service oriented. I stayed 7 nights at this hotel. I have at hotel at least 5 previous years. The quality of the restraunt food and service has fallen. Room conditions have declined. My bill contained major errors. It felt like the hotel was trying to scam me. They did not english. Communications was frustrating.
Hotel next to a mall. Corner rooms nice and large. Maids provide good service. Staff generally friendly. But one female checkin staff was very discourteous. She charged me for an unexplained event and said other staffers made a mistake not charging me.
The staff were extremely polite and helpful. Nice place to stay.
Nice Hotel, close to Shopping Center
Nice Hotel, close to Shopping Center. Buffet breakfast was great.
Great breakfast
Great
The room is not really high end but the hotel has a very good breakfast and a nice roof top pool that was very enjoyable. There is a shopping mall next door for forgotten items and a good coffee.
Hotel was clean / good value for money No English for people that don’t speak Portuguese Wi-Fi is not good on any floor above 6th Highlight is one of the Best breakfast!! And the staff in the restaurant especially Ivan was exceptional Will stay there again
We liked the central location and the nearness to food. We did not like the traffic noise all night long. We also didn’t like that the hallways and elevator were not air conditioned. We had our luggage stored at the hotel for 5 days. When we returned, one of the locks on a suitcase was jammed. We eventually discovered that an employee broke into it, stole my wife’s shoes, then purposely changed the code on the lock. She had to wear dirty jungle clothes and hiking boots for four days before we could open the suitcase and buy new shoes. We are not happy.
Super friendly staff, great beach area, great breakfast
Loved the staff! We lived at the hotel for 20 days and everyone was very pleasing! The only down thing is that the rooms did not have cooktop and we were not allowed to get single duvets (I shared the room with my mom and my 2-year old son) because we had a king sized bed. Other than that, we enjoyed the experience in a whole and the breakfast was very diverse as well. The whole staff of the Manaus Hotéis Millennium deserves a raise. They are very nice and hard working people!
Property is connected to a small mall which is nice. But property is noisy!! The Carnival celebrations were loud and went into the early mornings. The rooms on G3 and 3rd floor not real good. Seem smaller. Need to be updated. 18th floor room was nice. Room service was prompt. Transportation pickup confused most Uber drivers.
Not great
Not great I'm afraid. Check in was pleasant and friendly but once we stepped out of the lift we became concerned. The corridor to our room had peeling wallpaper, scuffs and stains. The room was shabby and well in need of decoration. Cleanliness was questionable with dust on the skirting boards, dirty areas round the sink. There were numerous scuffs and marks on furniture and walls. Grouting was discoloured in the shower. The pool, which was advertised as having umbrellas, had none and none were available. We had booked here for a days rest but with no shade we would have cooked. Food was OK but not brilliant. It isn't an expensive hotel so for the cost it may be worthwhile but we stayed elsewhere when we passed through Manaus a few weeks later for not much more and hugely better room and environment. The staff do their best but investment is needed.
Great hotel, great staff
Excelente hotel. Excelente serviço.
Very good breakfast and friendly staff and a few spoke English, which was helpful ☺️ and shopping opportunities are close by
Very friendly and helpful staff and excellent breakfast included. Very clean and comfortable rooms.
Friendly staff, good breakfast
Outstanding
I loved that there were a couple malls within walking distance including one next door with a food court. The staff made us a to go breakfast since we had an early flight the next morning. The beds were ok for a night or 2.
10/10
O costela não tem consideração com o hóspede. Não Animal amigo.
Fantastic
Best hotel to stay in Manaus, the shopping mall is right on it, with a supermarket, pharmacy, various restaurants with good food, bakery, and other stores. The breakfast is delicious. Look for king size bed rooms, they are amazingly comfortable.
clean
This was our second stay. We were there 3 days earlier and returned after a boat tour. What a downward change in service. WARNING: Building can use a renovation. I don’t think corporate is putting money into the building. Hallway lights are sketchy. Sauna doesn’t work. Other issues. Most importantly, we had no maid service. Even after calling the front desk. Finally I called for mop and broom and cleaned the room myself. Have pictures to show but not what I want to do in vacation. At checkout, receptionist acknowledged the lack of service but offered NO compensation or discounts. She actually charged my card for water and drinks out of the minibar.
Outstanding staff (the first 3 days of our stay. No maid service or compensation the two days after our Amazon boat return). On this leg of our trip, we had outstanding service but the hotel can use a full upgrade. You can really tell corporate has not put any money back into the property. Shaky elevators, plumbing issues, dark hallways. The only plus is the workers.
Overall was a good hotel! Breakfast was outstanding. Great location near a shopping mall.
Thumbs up
Friendly people, great service
Average Stay
I don’t want to be too hard on this hotel, because, like everyone in this industry, they are struggling. The location of this hotel is great. Really optimum for getting around Manaus and next door to a nice shopping mall with everything you need. The biggest mark against them is hot water. This has been a problem every time we have stayed here. It is really something they need to get under control. There is no excuse for a hotel like this to have this problem consistently. From hour to hour, you cannot predict if you will have hot water or not. We had absolutely no hot water the last day and a half of this stay. The staff does what they can to make your stay comfortable, and they are generally very friendly and English is spoken readily at the front desk. There is a canal next to the hotel that is currently quite smelly at night (no problem during the day). But this is no problem inside the rooms or even on the balconies.
Gostei, boa localização. Vista da piscina ao entardecer é linda.
Péssimo. Fotos não condizem!
Pior hotel que já estive em Manaus. Pia quebrada, móveis velhos, mal cheiro no quarto e bolor. FUJAM! Há opções muito melhores pelo mesmo valor.
Amazing rooftop swimming pool
Amazing rooftop swimming pool with view. Cordial and helpful staff. Good food, however waiting time is slightly longer.
Staff were pleasant, tv did not work
Good night sleep
Hotel staff very attentive and helpful. Breakfast didn't have much selection but it was good. Overall room was spacious, a/c worked fine, no carpet through the hotel 👍, & shower could use more scrubbing.
Friendly staff, nice pool area. Very helpful. I've stayed there twice and would again.
Unfriendly staff
Not so good. Staff is not friendly and we requested 3 days in advance through hotel.com to help us canceling one room and the hotel refused to cancel it and refund the money. No other hotel has done this to us. Though great location and amenities.
Great experience
Amazing. The view is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. Great stay
When i arrived at night it was dark the lobby entrance, the check in front desk also was dark like if they were saving electricity. When we got off the elevator the AC was off in the hall way with a strange smell. Once we arrived to our room it was not the premium room I had reserved and payed over $200 US dollars for, our bed was not a king size, the bathroom door was broken and had no lock, our shower had cold water for two days and we even reported it to the staff and the ignored our complains. One lady spoke English well and she ignored our complaints she said they would sent maintenance to fix our issue and she never did. The safe was not installed in our room it was a mission to get the safe installed. The safe was supposed to come with our room. The review from Expedia did not match our room I was extremely dissatisfied , also we had trouble with our key card and had to report it to the front desk. It was as if the room was not prepared for the guest staying.
The rooms were clean and spacious, helpful/attentive English-speaking staff, AC & high pressure water.
It was in a good location for our needs and the staff were really helpful. However there was a strong musty smell throughout the rooms and corridors.
Excelente Hotel, muy buena ubicación y buen restaurant.
I found the location to be very good. It was located close to a shopping mall so if we did not want to eat in the hotel restaurant we could eat there. All the hotel staff were extremely helpful.
Really good breakfast. Room was nice -standard type. All you need really. Didn’t stay long only 1 night but has everything we needed. Overall rating satisfied.
Good hotel in Manaus
Good, solid choice for staying in Manaus. Hotel is clean and quiet. Air conditioning worked well (which is important in Manaus). Location is good. Hotel is part of The Millenium Shopping Complex, so food, shops, pharmacies, ATMs and services are literally steps away in a secure, nice environment. Taxis also are abundant, which is a real plus. Not super luxurious, but, overall, I’d give it a solid B+ for Manaus.
I was only at this hotel for about 5 hours. I arrived very late and had to catch an early flight the next morning. What I liked best about the hotel was the staff. They were very kind and helpful. The location is also not far from the airport, about a 10-15 minute drive. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was a decent place to stay. I would probably stay there again if in the area.
The room was nice, but very noisy. Every noise in the hallway or next door could be heard. Although there was cable tv, there were only a few local channels.
Good hotel close to shopping etc
This is like the 15th time we stayed there. We have sent A Lot of people there way. Parking is included in the price, however this time they didn't have any more available and we had to pay for parking! This adds up when you are there for two days and paying an hourly rate. Disappointed for sure.
Manaus Millenium
Hotel a bit run down. Very good breakfast
Convenient and comfort hotel
It was good hotel, very secure area and comfort. Wifi in lobby but no wifi in hotel room.
Simple but Well-Priced
Perfectly acceptable hotel located a bit north of Manaus' historic city center. The rooms are nothing special - the bathroom has obvious water damage and the bed had simple sheets and was not terribly comfortable. However, the hotel offers a good breakfast with some local fruits and foods. The hotel is also conveniently located next to a large shopping mall, which has several restaurants and shops. Overall, perfectly fine if you are looking for a place to sleep and not spend a fortune. However, if you're looking for a memorable and authentic "Amazon experience" you are probably better off paying up for one of the many eco-lodges in the area.
My main problem was that the toilet was not flushed from the previous guest. The food from the restaurant is excellent
Good hotel in friendly city!
Nice hotel. Good rooms. Rooftop pool was great. Good breakfast and restaurant for dinner. Friendly staff!
staff was catatonic. wallpaper falling off the wall. dark dingy hallway,
The staff is great.
The staff in this hotel was exceptionally good. BUT for a hotel that depicts itself as business oriented -- the "business center" consists a round table, chairs, and computers. There is no wifi in the "business center" and the computers were not working. The electricity went out only once. The air conditioner leaked for about three days with no repair. The restaurant closes between 3 and 7pm. The wall paper was peeling. The phone broke twice. The pamphlets for guests lacks how to reach the reception desk. BUT the staff is wonderful! All fault lies with the owners. I have stayed in two hotels owned by this chain and they were both very poor in terms of keeping up with problems.
Lighting wasn't good and in pictures the hotel looked a lot nicer
Short stay, but enjoyable
This is a nice hotel in a central location. The facilities are nice although they were doing some repairs on the ceiling in the restaurant. The room was very reasonable for the price and had a small balcony and a refrigerator and microwave.
Excellent hotel, modern and clean
Stayed just one night for a very early flight, they booked the taxi for us to the airport. There is a Mall right by it including an exchange office and pharmacy. Supermarket across from the hotel.
Staff was very helpful! We did not speak Portuguese, they were very helpful in their attempt to speak English or find someone who did. They were able to provide recommendations in the area. Hotel is right next to a shopping mall.
Great hotel
Very comfortable hotel in a neighborhood with 3 shopping malls.
Good staff! Bad breakfast...
They did not have for us a silent room with 2 beds. We got a silent room but with one bed. We had to pay an extra fee for the second bed.
Very nice
It is a very nice hotel good location and clean , we love it .
Pratical hotel in Manaus
Pratical hotel in Manaus, but please cool these corridors. You sweat fro the room to the elevators...
Quick stop
We had a late night arrival ( 2:30 am) and the staff were very friendly the room was clean and comfortable.and the breakfast provided was above average for for hotel breakfasts. great room for the price about $65. US. I would not hesitate to stay again on another trip.
Week getaway to explore the river and the culture
This was a very good choice for staying inexpensively in Manaus. Speaking Portuguese would've been a huge advantage. Nevertheless, the front desk was always trying to make us feel welcome and worked very hard (several different staff members depending on the time of day) to assist with our requests. Having a room on the 18th floor (one floor below the small pool and fitness room) was convenient and reduced any possible street noise (plus the view was spectacular). The breakfast was more than adequate each day and the bar/ restaurant was okay. They tried hard but without the piano player it was not a destination. The taxis were always standing by and the restaurants within 10 minutes were excellent. As a runner, the park on the other side of the unfortunately polluted small river tributary was about a mile loop and really convenient to get in a workout without worrying about vehicles. The staff recommended Amazon Tours and they were timely, well-briefed and worth every Real!
Modern hotel in Manaus
excellent location next to a shopping mall. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. The breakfast was good and varied.
Great for business or layover stay
This hotel is not near major tourist attractions, but it is very convenient from the airport. It's attached to a shopping mall with lots of food and shopping options and next to a nice park. The rooftop pool is nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was extremely clean and comfortable.
Great location and friendly staff
This is a modern high rise hotel next to a shopping mall. The staff were very friendly and the location was perfect. It was a 45 minute walk down to the old town and port. We walked down to see the amazing opera house and to also get a boat to the meeting of the waters. The hotel is a 65BRS taxi ride from the airport. The hotel breakfast was varied and excellent. The air conditioning in the room was also great.
Easy access to buses and shopping .
Everyone at the hotel were friendly and eager to help .
Perfect for our needs / one quick night in Manaus. Located closer I think to the airport than the centro neighborhood.
Convenient Hotel
This was just an overnight stay while we waited for a flight. Hotel was comfortable and convenient. Really appreciated that the hotel was attached to a mall for some quick shopping.
Nice stay
it was a short stay but very pleasant, the area is safe and clean. The transport (taxi's) is very good and helpfull.
Close to shopping
This hotel is close to shopping but not within walking distance of the historical centre. Check in was a breeze, wifi worked. Breakfast could be better. There was a dispute about the minibar, they charged us anyway. So when you get to your room check minibar and have a staff member see if it was replenished before they charge you for someone else's usage.
Located by Mall
Hotel Millenium was right next to Millenium Shopping Mall and a park. I did have problems keeping connected to the WiFi. Otherwise, the staff were helpful and spoke some English. The pool area on the roof was nice and had a great view of that part of the city. Breakfast buffet had a good assortment of foods including eggs, sausage, fruits/juices, breads, cheese etc. The only problem we had was that there were workers right outside our room working on the outside of the building starting at 8:00am. They were very noisy and we wanted to sleep in a bit.
Never having been to Manaus, I was pleasantly surprised & pleased with my stay. The staff was extremely helpful ... spoke English. The complementary breakfast was very good!
Millenium: Manauas
It's probably one of the nicer hotels in Manauas. There is a pool and hot tub, as well as a fitness center on the top floor. Breakfast is included, but it is the same everyday. It's clean, attached to a mall with a food court (which I would avoid, except for the Bob's Burgers shakes). There is hot water, good water pressure, English speaking staff (at the desk), and free wi-fi. Best part: they hold your luggage while you go on an Amazon tour. I think it's the Ritz of Manauas, but remember... this is Manauas. I'd stay there again.
Not what it's advertised to be
Pros: The concierge was friendly and very helpful in organising a trip for us. The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Cons: My room was not cleaned during the three night stay, dirty glasses were left where they were, bedding straightened only as I had left it, and a towel left for changing was hung up with the addition of a dirty footprint! Traffic noise was a constant disturbance, and I kept returning to my room to find the cleaners had opened the windows; this is not acceptable in a malaria area. My colleagues were given smoking rooms even though we had reserved non-smoking, and verified this at check in. One colleague also had no hot water in his room for the duration of our stay despite being told on the first night that it was being sorted out. Breakfasts were so-so, but juices were watered down - most likely with local water rather than bottled, breads were stale and cereal was soggy. The hotel is too far from anywhere else to offer much selection for dining out (other than fast food at the neighbouring shopping centre). On the first night dining at the hotel, no white wine was available and the nuts were not fresh; the second night we were told that there was only one wine (red) available from an apparently extensive wine list. I do not expect this service for the rates charged here, or the prices charged in the restaurant.
Comfortable pleasant hotel
Nice hotel next to a big shopping mall. Great rooftop pool and whirlpool with views right across Manaus. Amazing breakfast buffet and friendly helpful staff.
Convenient 3.5 star hotel
Excellent breakfast including wonderful fresh pineapple. Next to shopping center. There were no free bottles of water - went to shhopping center to purchase.Arranged for a taxi to pick us up at airport at a good price 40R$
comfy beds
Quite good for a reasonable price.
Great location
We loved this hotel, great safe neighborhood, close to airport and shopping malls. Helpfull staff, will stay again if we plan another trip to Manaus. Breakfast was great, missed the coffee machine in room.
Fine option for layover
The hotel was fine. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was nice, and the machines in the exercise room actually worked (not the norm in even really nice hotels where I have stayed in Brazil). The hotel ambiance could be greatly improved with some plants or artwork - it's austere now. But the important issues of hot water, bed comfort, and cleanliness were quite satisfactory. Also not a lot of street noise.
Good Hotel
I will be back in November
An excellent choice for Manaus
We loved our stay at this hotel. It is modern, clean and has a great restaurant. We could also enjoy the rooftop pool a couple of times. The reception and restaurant staff were polite and professional. The hotel is right next to a shopping mall where there are planty of fast food restaurants if you want a quick, cheap meal.
Hotel bom, no padrão Manaus.
Quarto grande, cama confortável, ar gelava bem. Ralo do chuveiro entupiu, molhou o banheiro todo. Mas consertaram no mesmo dia. Sabonete bem ruim! Hotel muito bem localizado, perto de tudo e é colado ao Shopping. O café da manhã achei bem fraco, poucas variedades, só teve suco de laranja duas vezes em 5 dias.
Muito bom
Tudo em ordem.
Staff was excellent with suggestions of place to eat and very helpful and polite
