... I've had better :/
This place was so super cute. I love the premise. But... Mattress wasn't super comfy. Linens weren't especially soft. Pillows were flat. And then the heating element was insanely loud and would go off like every 30 minutes and wake me up. Not to mention the associated temperature fluctuations. Lastly the whole purpose of staying here was to get to bachelor. And turning left in the morning was virtually impossible with traffic. I really wanted to love this place. But I wouldn't start here again. I don't need much of a hotel/motel but a good night sleep, and I didn't get that at all here.
Jan ski trip
We had such a great stay at LOGE OREGON!!! We would recommend this place to everyone!!
Great place, staff, service ,and location.
This place is so great for basecamp for snow play. Kids loved the room and hammock, nightly smores, and welcoming staff. It was super fun.
Terrific little spot
You can tell the property was originally built as a motel, one -story and all the rooms directly open to the outdoors. The property has been completely overhauled and modernized and has a very hip/cool vibe to it. It's very convenient if you are skiing Bachelor, maybe 15 minutes down the road or so. Terrific service--I left my laptop charger cord in the room. The room attendant brought it to the front desk and they called me and asked where I'd like them to send it. I was still nearby and so I was able to swing by and pick it up. So grateful that they let me know! I didn't use any of the outdoor amenities, like the firepit or hot tub, but they looked great.
The Loge was great! I loved being able to access my room without havimg to check in at the front desk.
All you need to know
This place and these people are fantastic. GO!
Room was great, loved the bike racks & hammock setup. Hot tub was nice, not too hot but enough to relax. Fire pit fires were a welcoming site when we arrived in the evening. It's a nice draw for the property
Amazing stay as usual!
Wonderful property, amazing amenities and wonderful staff!! Loved our room❤️
Great Pet Friendly Place to Stay W/Pets.
Our stay was great. The staff at The Lodge were very accommodating. We were able to check in without having to check in at a front desk. Additional items we needed throughout our stay were at our fingertips without having to ask staff for them. The stay was quiet and dog friendly. We loved the outdoor trails at our door.
Cute hip campy clean and convenient
It hits its mark as a motel for the I'd-rather-be-camping crowd. Comfy, curated, perfect amenities if you like a hot tub and a firepit.
LOGE is a great property and I’m enjoying my stay!
Love this place
WOW. What a rad hotel!!!! Absolutely would stay again in a heartbeat, and this might be the coolest place we have stayed in. We drove through Bend on our way home to Boise after a long road trip. We actually had a reservation at a different hotel in the area but they messed up our booking. I went on Expedia and found the first property with availability that day that excepted Pets which was LOGE. booked and called them to see if they had early check in or can make an exception due to our circumstance, as we didnt want to waste a day without a shower, etc. so we could go explore bend. They were friendly and accomodated our needs. When we showed up the staff was extra friendly and engaged us in converstation. The property and room is an outdoors person's dream. the Lobby is a bar/coffee shop, with a lounge, and the room had such cool decor, along with a hammock that slung across the room, bike rack, yeti cooler, and what looked like lockers right outside the door. you can also rent outdoors equipment from them to go explore. there were areas for cyclists, a pool, fire pits, and other outdoor areas. there are also trails right outside the hotel. it's also ONLY like 2-3 miles from downtown which is nice to be detached from the busyness of that. We took ubers and they were fast to pick up there. Wish we found this place to begin with and will definitely be back!!!!!
The property was highly rated. Must have not been based on the old and tired rooms, and uncomfortable bed. We were not there for outdoor recreation, but just a place to stay overnight. Do not recommend for that purpose!
Loved our stay here.
This was an awesome place to stay for a mountain bike trip. It was close to the trails and the accommodations were super comfortable after a long day in the saddle. It is close to downtown if you want to go for dinner and beer after your ride. I liked the fact that Cog Wild was present on the grounds for easy access to information and shuttles. The staff were amazing. I haven’t stayed at a place where everyone was so helpful and nice. They worked really hard to make my stay the best it could be. My only regret is that the hot tub wasn’t working and would have felt great on my tired muscles. I highly recommend the Loge if you’re staying in Bend. I definitely will be back!
Thanks
They text your room number and code before your arrival. You just text when you are ready to checkout. Room was quiet. Might be getting ready for a refresh. Location is perfect to ride to the mountain bike trails. Definitely on our list of favorite places to stay.
Great Staff, Cool Old Bend vibe, Huge hot tub, Great location, Fun place.
Have been staying here for years. Love the proximity to mountain bike trails.
It is a very friendly place. The staff is always helpful. We stayed in a room that had some electrical issues that were not fixed at all.
Not an outdoors person, which is the prime demographic for this place, but it was fine.
Convenient to the trails, and nice to have bike storage in the room, but overall, this was not a great value for the money. Their coffee shop wasn't actually operational and the rooms were pretty basic.
Great location. Very convenient to trails. Quiet.
Lovely location, staff was beyond friendly. Very relaxed atmosphere
It was a ton of fun.
Very dog friendly!
super fun and unique
Mostly good. The main issue was how noisy the appliances are. We had to disconnect the fridge overnight to be able to sleep and the heating fan is also quite noisy.
Excellent place to stay that is a short drive/cycle to biking trails. The rooms and outdoor areas are a fun outdoorsy style, and staff are always very friendly. Only options for food are a food truck on-site, or a 5-10 minute drive.
I love this place. Clean, very dog friendly. Lots of trails to hike on. Front office is cute. Free smores at night. Only downside this trip was the hot tub jets were not working 🙄
Close to Mt Bachelor.
This is a motel or outdoorsy people. The room was equipped with bike racks and boot dryers. Located next to biking and hiking trails.
We loved the location and ammenities of this property! It is quiet, has easy access to miles of trails, a great happy hour, and hammocks everywhere. We will be using this as home base in Bend.
Comfortable bed and affordable price. Next time I'll be sure to use the hammock and hot tub!
Great Hotel
A great location. Recently renovated and very nice room. Love the Outdoor theme and atmosphere. A nice reception area with complimentary coffee, bar and shop, Access to rent outdoor equipment SUP and bikes. Pool, hot tub, and more great facilities, Really happy we stayed here when visiting Bend
Great Vibe. Modern drive up. Really enjoyed my stay.
What is the gravel devil next door? They should be required to put up erosion and scenic fences!
This is a very dated facility. I suspect the owners are waiting for Bend’s development to catch up to them and bail them out. There is apparently some kind of development going on next door and the noise and dust is considerable and unreported in the reviews. Literally nothing has been done to modernize the property and the wiring is an outdated accident waiting to happen. The amenities described in the property blurb are there but that’s all you can say. The staff is pleasant which is a plus so if you’re a twenties something outdoor sports enthusiast on a limited budget then this is your place. If you’re not then prepare to be disappointed by the misleading property description and its ramshackle nature.
Rooms definitely are outdated and the roads need a good re paving and there’s nothing to eat outside of freezer burritos and pastries but the workers are awesome and the whole concept is amazing if you like being outside and don’t have bikes or what not, definitely a little bit of work and it could be a place that’s fully booked 365 days for sure
Great location. Cute rooms, well stocked with amenities. Daily fee includes lots of access to gear for exploring. Fun property with fire pits, grills, pool, hot tub.
It was okay, but not great. The staff was so-so, not friendly and took a long time to be acknowledged.
So fun! Worth the stay
The best part was the hammocks in the room. This place is an adventurers dream!
Dog Friendly, Smores and Trail access
We love staying here due to the access to the trails and dog friendliness. The rooms are decent although, they are in need of an electrical upgrade. There are not many electrical outlets. They do have a USB charger which is good but I use USB-C charging which requires a plug in. I did fine a power strip dangling behind the refridgerator that I used. Overall it's a great stay and we saw a great band that played on property. It's a big draw for the local community. The access to the dog friendly trails and the Mtn bike trails are alway a big draw for us. We also have stayed here in the winter which provides great access to Bachelor. We love staying here. Additionally the smores package were a great touch.
Location and people
Great place - easy check-in, check-out.
Great place for those that like the outdoors. Very pet friendly.
Awesome place, great staff and location! Super clean and well maintained. Fun place to stay!
So much fun, perfect for families. Right on the trails and a pool to cool off in
Rustic and good for outdoor activities.
Nice pet option but not worth the pricepoint unless you are going to really take advantage of the free gear/equipment rental. Vibe of the room is nice, but if you look closely definitely has some landlord special details in the room. I expected more out of the updating of the room.
This is an old school gem. Updated out door themed, its quiet, invites the outdoors, my room even had a rack to hang my bike, a refreshing pool, not surrounded by a 4 story hotel, but old ponderos's. All one story. It a gem from old Bend, a great vibe.
Cool place
They give you a lot of amenities for your stay. If you are in Bend for an adventure this room is the best bang for your buck. We were not, so the cost wasn't really worth it for us. However - they will give you tubes to float the river and they don't tell you that!
Great hotel for dogs, beds are lower, hardwood floors, non skid floor mats. Staff was super nice and accommodating with special requests. This may be my new go-to place in Bend.
If you’re looking for amenity comfort, cleanliness, and a building in great condition like Hilton, Hampton, etc…this isn’t it. Things are old and falling apart and Room really wasn’t the cleanest. If you’re looking for location and things to do this IS it. Lots of trails along the river for mountain biking, running etc…a great “backyard” area. The dog thing was cool too. Would I stay here again?? …ehh……maybe. But, I’m not jumping at it. Pros: They encouraged dogs and had outdoor items available to use for free. Cons: Definitely overpriced for what the room was.
Cool property. All units in ground floor, easy to wheel bikes in and out of room. I have stayed at this property a few times and my only complaint is the rooms are looking a little worn. Paint , fixtures and mattresses are in a need for an update.
My family and I had a great stay here! We especially loved the fire pit and s'mores after our long day of exploring. The grounds and unique details in the room (like the hammock, bike friendly accessories, Yeti, and the small souvenirs to take with us) made the vibe super fun. We will stay again!
Great family place
On our way to LOGE we were reading up on the reviews and we came across a new one that wasn’t awesome. But I told my family that you have to read between the lines on the overly nasty reviews, that it says more about the person than the place. I was very happy to be proved correct! This place was awesome! Yes there were little things that they could do, like hide tv wires haha but that’s just something we laughed about because they put so much detail into this place that having those wires exposed seemed odd. Having the hammocks all over the property AND in the room was awesome! My teen loved it and she had so much fun. The whole atmosphere was awesome, it reminded me of a school/church camp! We left like we were camping and it was nice that it was on the outskirts of town. The pool was relaxing and great areas to lounge in the shade for sun! Our room was clean, and set up perfectly for our arrival, AC worked great, toilet was surprising quiet which is always a plus in the middle of the night! The only reason I didn’t give them a 5 star is because we were in the very back and the lot desperately needs re-paving. It was rough getting all of the way to the back, a gravel road is much better to drive on.
We actually weren't there for the biking only for a hot bath and a good night sleep and we didn’t get either. The mattress on the beds are about 3 inches thick and we’re the most uncomfortable bed we’ve ever slept on. I went to run a hot bath and the water turned cold after 3 minutes. I figured it was from all the kids at the loge using all the hot water. I got up at 4am to shower before getting back on the road and it was the same thing, no hot water after about 3 minutes. We feel the room didn’t give us what we paid for, comfort and hot water? It would be nice if we could could have some of our money refunded.
Great location and a very functional layout.
We really enjoyed our two nights at the Loge and the convenient walking trails. The room was clean and the amenities were very good. We will definitely be back!
Great property that gives the outdoorsy feel with the great amenities that caters to your adventurous needs. Great pool our son enjoyed and hot tub. Would stay again
This place is amazing on so many levels, and we hope to return. Love the camp vibe and shared facilities, grills, recreation equipment, etc. The only downside to this place— some of our rooms (we were with a group) had mold issues (which is actually kind of amazing in a place as dry as Bend.) Our bathroom fan did not work, which is obviously the source of the problem. Other rooms had similar issues. Hope they fix those things, because the setting and idea is great. Actually, the other issue was the sheets. Weird complaint, but if they switch to fitted sheets instead of flat sheets for the bottom sheet, it would actually hold the bottom sheet in place. Our bottom sheet drove us crazy pulling out from the corners and wadding up each night.
The LOGE is an adventurer's hotel! Each room had bike racks for our MTB, a hammock for fun, and a YETI in case we wanted to adventure somewhere for the day. Very close to a whole trail network for Mountain Biking, Trail running and even a paved trail for road biking. The property has an on-site dog park, hammock hang out area, pool and lounge with wifi if you need to take meetings. I think all rooms are Dog-Friendly too! I was also able to get free access to a hard-tail mountain bike and helmet included in my stay! Free coffee and tea! I would say the only thing about the hotel that is lackluster is food options. We ended up having to drive to downtown Bend to find food as the hotel only has pre-packed snacks. Each room does have a fridge. Also it isn't the quietest - we found the heater/bathroom fan to be quite noisy.
The Beds were terribly uncomfortable.
Solid option and was fun for the family. Good trails around and easy access to hiking and mountain biking. Appreciated the coffee and happy hour as well
Property is easily accessible in a wooded area. Plenty of parking. Room is clean.
Wilderness Wonder!
Motel style, great location with tons to do! Only downside is the walls are paper thin so you can hear all the noise. But they do expect quiet hours to be adhered to, but there’s always one or two families that ignore the rules. Overall though I would definitely be back when we’re in Bend!
Loved the amenities .. my bikes, treagars, trials, happy hour, corn hole and adorandik chairs etc..
Bedding was dirty with bodily fluids, hair all over in the shower, bugs everywhere, gaps in the door allowed bugs to crawl into the room. Very poorly maintained property. Gaps and cracks in the door frame and under the bathroom sink allowed airflow and bugs into the room and did not provide adequate privacy.
This place is so awesome! We will return. Lots of fun things to do.
This glow-up of an older motel amounts to lipstick on a pig. We were greeted by the unmistakeable smell of a musty motel. We deliberated for a minute about whether it was a “water intrusion lurking under new paint” musty, but it was late enough we decided to stay. The LOGE remodel seems to have amounted to attaching hammocks to the ceiling while painting over the existing popcorn ceiling and laminate bathroom countertop. The electrical outlets are originals, and charging bricks slipped out of them onto the floor with no resistance. One of the ‘funky vintage’ decor items was a dented filing cabinet. The window screen set into an aluminum slider let in a stream of flies and earwigs, attracted to our light, while we struggled to keep it open and dissipate the funky must. We could immediately tell it was a dog friendly hotel by the clumps of hair attached to the kettle, furniture, and beds. On the plus side, the water pressure was great, and the room motivated us to start the next day of our road trip as early as possible.
Such a fun stay! Loved the hammock in our room!
Great option for families
At first I was disappointed, I thought it was on the river (walking distance) and rented paddle boards. I was under the impression I could walk out the facilities down to the river. This is not case. Otherwise, it was a fun little set up with fire pits, games, hammocks etc. The room was a little worn but doable. Neat concept, just needs a bit of TLC. It would be epic if it was waterfront.
Super fun hotel, we enjoyed it very much! Especially the bunk beds for the kids!
Very welcoming crews
Beautiful and relaxing property, well stocked with everything you need if you’re coming to town to play in the mountains. A 3~mi bike ride to most food in town, or a quick drive. but you’re last much closer to the mountain/trails
Great place, highly recommend. Great trails out of the door. Very close to the amazing Mt. Bachelor.
Good value, very Bend
The LOGE is a converted motel working to he a boutique hotel. Some of the amenities are fun (hammock in room, bike rack). They have a small bar in the lobby area. Good price. I would have liked a fitness center.
Property is great. Lots of fun little touches.
The room was clean, communication was clear and the location was convenient to our activities in Bend.
Love everything about this place!!
Perfect place to hit the trails on foot, with your pet or on mountain bikes, just outside your door. All the amenities you need. Fun, while quiet and comfortable. Loved it.
Nice place- would stay again.
Great access to the mountain or to town. Very cute outdoor areas/shared spaces with firepits and grills. Hot tub and seasonal pool. Amazing amenities and very cute design.
Perfect spot as a base for outdoors adventures around Bend, especially if you have a pup!
Super cute property and awesome for traveling with dogs! The grounds are very nice and there is a nature trail that you can take to the river. The rooms are updated and comfortable- the bed was memory foam. The check in/checkout is contactless which was kind of nice. The only con is the check in time being 4 pm and if you want to check in any earlier, it’s a $25 fee. So I just hung out in my car since I was early.
OK stay
Staff was helpful and friendly, room was in generally good order and quiet for my non-holiday non-summer stay. As I walked on the wood floor, my socks picked up quite a bit of hair. Fees seemed high: room cost was listed at $96, but about $130 total with fees. A number of trails nearby along with private land. Cafe had few offerings the day I was there.
So.. I was stuck in Bend do to a issue with my flights.i ended up extending my vacation by a few days & came across this little gem.. this is what all accommodation services should look like.. from the lobby & the decor, the friendly staff, the complimentary brand new Mountain Bikes.. S’mores in the evening.. the merchandise, even had ear plugs in the room & a yeti cooler & bike rack.. the best thing of all was the rates.. I’d choose this over any hotel any day of the week! 5 stars all the way…
The room was cute, but it’s a very old facility. My bed was very uncomfortable , and the bunk bed my boys slept in was SUPER noisy/squeaky anytime they moved. I didn’t like how far out of town it was either. Not convenient to get food, etc.
A cool spot with a lot of character close to outdoor recreation opportunities as well as all of the great restaurants and shopping available in Bend.
Responsive when we needed help, nearby trails convenient, good choice of coffee and tea
Great Vibes!
It exceeded our expectations! It is closer to all the things we wanted to do in Bend (hiking trails, breweries and restaurants). The decor is awesome and the beds super comfortable! The spa was a real treat and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. My husband slept on the hammock that is hanging in the rooms. I even loved the instant coffee provided in the room. That was actually pretty good. We can’t wait to come back and visit the one in Leavenworth
21 minutes from bachelor. Cozy rooms with a hammock
Nice location in Bend with great proximity to Mount Bachelor.
New beds! Much better!
The vibe here is great! The hot tub is clean and well maintained and actually hot!
