You need to overlook a few things. My toilet wasn’t attached to the floor. If I moved it rocked back and forth. For Shabbat you can bring your own food and just sit at one of the tables set up in the dining room where they also provide candles for Shabbat and tea and coffee with milk in the fridge, etc. and urns. Water dispenser, cups. It’s just a sweet simple place and very reasonably priced.
Great deal for the miney
Great convenient place.
Good but a little worn out /old.
Reasonably priced hotel in very good position
Fantastic position close to all services. Very good sized room. Nice wardrobe with lots of hanging and shelf space Tasty filling breakfast. Friendly helpful staff
Comfortable and quiet room. Great heat and hot water. Decent breakfast. 2 suggestions- clean cover on drain next to bathtub and fix shower holder so that spray hits middle of tub not straight down to edge of tub.
We had the family room which was nice and well suited to our needs. Breakfast was adequate with a range of options. Reception was not well staffed. Luckily we didn't need anything but there generally wasn't many staff around, apart from the morning. Check in was smooth. There's no bomb shelter in the building, but thankfully we didn't need to use one. This is a no frills place but comfortable and cosy
Good
Very nice place thank you! Good breakfast there is a shul right next door with a lot of minyanim as well
Great location
Little House in Rechavia is a wonderful little boutique hotel. Nothing fancy but everything one needs—decent size rooms, good beds, great shower and lovely breakfast. The lack of a regular desk person is the only downside. But I will continue to stay there when in Israel.
Great location very nice staff had everything we needed. Bed very comfortable. Place does need updating but everything was excellent
Great location, no one at front desk but check in was smooth via whatsapp. Nice terrace to sit out on. Paeking in the area was a nightmare. But you'll eventually find.
Cute great location
Small but comfortable room, clean and quiet. Location very convenient.
It's a short walk to almost anything you need or a bus to anywhere else. There's no on site staff, but you can call. Very accommodating. An absolutely basic room.
There's no one here and the rooms look nothing like the pictures!
Little house in Rehavia
Hotel is in a great position for all facilities .Rooms are a decent size with a nice wardrobe and desk.Very adequate furniture but rooms feel dated.
very good location
Good hotel central Jerusalem
Clean, comfortable, hotel in a very nice central neighborhood of Jerusalem. A good sized room, with plenty of cupboard and hanging space. Safe in the room. The staff were easy to contact and friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was amazing: plenty of choice of wholesome nutritious foods.
The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms and lobbies clean and comfy. The breakfast was fabulous with lots of choices of traditional Israeli breakfast foods, fresh and delicious. The location was quiet, beautiful yet close to many major attractions and various shops, etc. It is actually a very historic area and many nearby houses have interesting plaques to read and to learn about the history of this area. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
The staff was very accommodating, helping us with Shabbat. The building is shabbat-friendly - old-fashioned room keys instead of key cards, only 3-stories high, so we did not need to climb much. Breakfast every morning was delicious, if you like Israeli-hotel style breakfasts, which we all do. Location was great. Most of our tours picked up down the street in front of the Prima Kings. There were several synagogues in the neighborhood from which to choose. We were an 18 minute walk from downtown, and less than 30 minutes from the Kotel. The neighborhood is charming. Although this is no fault of the hotel or staff, be aware that they are tearing down the building across the street. Very loud construction noise was a constant from about 7:30 AM to the evening, and one evening some minor construction noise was audible all night. Again, not the hotel's fault, but it did not make for a restful vacation. The building is old, and some things need updating. There are only 3 outlets in the room, and one was taken up with the mini refrigerator. So that choice was fridge or bedside light. The outlet next to the other side of the bed was loose, and I could not plug my CPAP machine into it and maintain power, leading to some annoying stretching of the cord all the way across the room to the remaining working outlet. Other minor issues - the closet had one hanger; maid service removed the hand towel and never replaced it. (But the staff was great about responding to problems like these.)
The staff are very helpful &nice. Location is great!
The property has not had any improvement since my last visit in 2018. I would say it was a little run down. I had problem with the air-conditioning remote.
Loved it.
Amazig staff Amir, Abed and Nur. Quite and peaceful place in beautiful neighborhood. THANK YOU.
I love staying a little house. It is clean and quiet. The area is beautiful. The neighborhood has so many beautiful flowers. It is close to the old city. It is not a tourist place or at least not a place where large groups of tourists stay. One area that could use improvement in my opinion is the breakfast. And everything else is just simply what I want in the heat when I am in Jerusalem. I would be more than comfortable recommending anyone. I know to stay at Little House At Rahavia when they arrive Jerusalem.
Bed was not clean enough. Rooms need urgent renovations.
Great breakfast. Old world feeling. My small, individual room (bathroom), was very small but there is place to put things if you need to. Its clean and you have all the basic comforts (wifi..) not a lot of "amenities" except the "old fashioned breakfast" is really nice (great coffee)..
Great place. Staff were helpful and nice. Only suggestion would be to
We had a great stay at the Little House in Rehavia
perfectly adequate. eccellent breakfast
Israeli style hotel. Perfect for our needs, centrally located, street parking, eateries and groceries easily accessible.
Very friendly staff who were extremely helpful, however, not enough power points in the room to charge devices which is essential these days.
I stay here frequently because of the convenient location. It is a clean, no frills place that suits my needs.
It is quant and cozy and quiet. Within walking distance of the old city as well as Ben Yehuda street. The neighborhood feels very safe. Everywhere you walk in the area are beautiful flowers of all different kinds.
Nice place and great value
The hotel isn’t fancy or large. The rooms are clean and sparse. Due to COVID the usual breakfast wasn’t offered. Excellent location, centrally located and superb value. If you expect the Ritz, you’ll be disappointed but we were quite comfortable. We would go back again.
Great choice
Very cozy and comfortable hotel Customer friendly and near major attractions
check in was a bit strange. We arrive around 6:30pm to a locked front door. After one or two tries we received a phone call giving us the code for the front door and our room number. The accommodations were "adequate" and comfortable. Due to Covid there was no breakfast buffet offered and only a very limited fixed menu breakfast should you wish to avail yourself of a breakfast option. Cleanup of room was done daily although on 2 occasions the door to the room was left unlocked once with the staff's keys left in the door. Front desk attendance was sporadic with times where there was no-one available to speak to should an issue arise. A very no frills experience but adequate for our needs. Location was good if not really at the center of the city but plenty of transportation options available. Would consider rebooking in the future.
Great location. Was perfect for our needs to be in Jerusalem in order to visit family and friends
It is a basic, reasonable clean room in a great location.
Within 10 to 20 minute walk to most of Jerusalem. Kosher and friendly to Orthodox community. Very helpful staff. Breakfasts are good. Book early for Shabbas meals -- otherwise buy food in advance and store in the Shabbas kitchen.
Location, quiet, feels like home. Third time, excellent.
just a little too minimalist for it price. Location excellent
Family trip
Great little hotel. It’s very central and the rooms are good size. The only issue is the windows are single pane and you can hear people talking outside all night.
Great location in Jerusalem - about 15-20 minute walk to Old City or to Israel Museum. Short walk to Ben Yehuda and Machane Yehuda. Property is just a little dated, but very clean and 24 hour desk person. Kosher. There is street parking available; use Cellopark and you'll be OK.
This was probably my sixth or seventh time staying at Little House, so clearly
The property was in a lovely suburb of Jerusalem...pretty and quiet, within easy walking of the Old City. The breakfasts were very good and the staff members were friendly and helpful. The only issue was one of comfort. The springs in the mattresses could be felt and the pillows were hard, which meant I woke every morning with neck pain. If this matter was addressed, it would be perfect.
Reasonable price for an excellent location. Room 207 was tiny and dirty. No space for luggage. Had to keep a suitcase on the fridge. Dust was everywhere. Whatever you do don’t look under the bed! Pile of dirt in the corner of the tiny closet. Dirt in the bathroom corners. Broken shelves in bathroom vanity. Shower head sprays water on the floor. Toilet seat is not affixed properly. It moves with you. Toilet doesn’t flush properly ( large button doesn’t work). With few little fixes and good cleanup it could be a much nicer room.
Amazing location, nice clean updated rooms, great breakfast and nice staff! Overall great experience
The place was in a nice location and very clean. Asked for and iron twice and never one available. Our AC didn’t work well and nothing was done about it.
Staff, location, price. It is ideally suited to what I like.
no parking spcae on property. staff a bit unfriendly.
have stayed here on previous occasions, and like its simplicity, and location...expectations therefore met in all regards except for refusal of kitchen staff for a pre- breakfast morsel as I was leaving before their serve-time for a day tour...otherwise all-good..
i liked the area and the very simple but effective hotel it was home to home
Felt like staying with friends!
I was looking for a small property well located that would feel homey....and I found it! The excellent location made it easy to get all around central Jerusalem by foot. Hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate my every request. From a better hair dryer to a light timer for the Sabbath they smiled and delivered.Felt like I was with good friends. Breakfast was very good and always able to get water and coffee/cake for a snack. The property is older and could use some sparkle. I bought flowers from the local florist and my room got the color boost it needed. Also loved the outdoor patio upstairs for R & R. Will definitely return ....a great value.
Basic bed and breakfast with friendly staff. Convenient area for me and walkable to city centre.
It is a small, no frills hotel that suited our needs perfectly as we could be near friends
Affordable accommodation
Decent small hotel, excellent location,
I love the location, and the extremely friendly staff. It could be a little cleaner and painted in some areas.
We were very pleased and would refer others to this place.
best place in Rehavia
Best location in Rehavia district . very safe area with lot of restaurants and coffee shops although far away from old city and touristic area.
Nice residential area, staff helpful, sense of tradition about the hotel.
the bstaff was particularly helpful and friedly--Liat, Livni and Langanin nparticular. guilianiin the dining area was also ery helpful. thelevel of cleanliness upon my arrival was disappointing. I personally dusted a thick layer of dust from the bottom shelf of the wardrobe, I then placed a plastic bag to cover it before I stored clothig on it. My first impression of the room was disappointing. It is quite basic. but after a few days, I didn't feel any major disappointment. the location is perfect. the morning breadfast is exellent. the fact that it was unseasonable cold during our recent stay preventing us from using the lovely outside areas. All in all, I would recommend to others, alerting them to the fact that the rooms are quite basic, and are not in fact, as large as they look on the website.
I liked the location, easy to get to other sites in Jerusalem from here.
Great location is the only reason to stay here
Excellent location in nice neighborhood, within 2 miles walk to key sites of interest. Good breakfast included. However, property is in poor condition and needs significant improvents. Also, some of the staff could be more pleasant. I will not return to this property.
We were disappointed in the room as it was quite small, the bathroom although clean was again very small and dated. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and the breakfast buffet was nice. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because it advertises that it is in easy walking distance to lots of places of interest we found that it took much longer than posted. Also we found it hard to find a bus that passed close to the hotel so ended up having to take taxis. Overall not good value for the money we spent as we thought the hotel really needed refurbishing.
Place old Dirty Food terrible Staff not polite Washroom dirty
Charming hotel
Very nice hotel. Lovely staff very accommodating . Very nice breakfast provided
Just finished up with a 3 night stay at LHIR. I thought the hotel was a great value. The room was clean and well maintained, the breakfast was surprisingly good, the staff was very friendly and the location was great. Please keep in mind that the hotel was not fancy, nor for the price would I expect it to be. If you are looking for a nice clean place with a great location for a reasonable price this is a good choice
Old facilities. Limited amenities only at the room. Poor breakfast.
Hotel,in nice classic neighborhood. Nice area to walk around.
Jerusalem - November, 2018
Everyone was very accommodating and personable. The breakfast buffet spread was amazing! Centrally located and great reputation with the locals!
Love the place, walking distance to Old City, Downtown, every single place, very clean, felt like home, everybody was so nice really they were happy
Nice stay
Close to everything. Walking distance to Old city, to downtown. Good breakfast. Kind and friendly staff. Room big enough. Refrigerator. TV. Good place for tourists:)
quiet neighborhood, near to main streets, with traffic at times stop and go. Breakfast is vegan, and coffee, tea and hot water always available in dining area.
Wouldn't stay. anywhere else in Jerusalem
Great place to stay in a great residential neighborhood at a wonderful price. Only a 10-minute walk from the Mamilla Mall and the Jaffa Gate. This was my second stay and the quality is consistent. This is my go to place in Jerusalem.
The people especially Leaht very pleasant and helpful, answered all our questions with lots of patients
The room is nothing like the picture posted on your site. The bathroom had a bad smell even though it was clean. When I told them about the smell, they tried to accommodate us with a different room. But, because its old place and sewer in Jerusalem is an issue I understand that the place is old but kept up good. Although the staff was friendly. Overall was ok
The hotel is nice and not far from the old town. They offer water, tea and some pastries. The room was OK.
Located in a nice neighborhood, a 20 min walk from Jaffa Gate. Nice clean and hospitable.
Nice, courteous staff. Great breakfast. The location is in walking distance to the old city and the Israel museum. I would stay the3re again.
Great location and friendly, helpful staff. I was traveling alone and this hotel met my needs.
Friendly and competend staff. Clean room. Proper room service.
We took the family room that had 4 beds. The room had a good size for 3 people. The hotel location is just perfect . Very quiet neighborhood and close to both the western wall and the mahneyehuda market. The stuff was very friendly and kind. Breakfast was just fantastic!!!! And it’s vegan friendly. If you looking for a good location with good vibes this is your spot.
Staff very helpfull nice area accessible lots of places
Lovely modest hotel, close enough to walk to Ben Yehuda or the Old City. We enjoyed the breakfast and the staff was very helpful. Our room was clean and very comfortable!
Nice hotel and close to major attractions.
Little House is close to major attractions, cozy and great breakfast.
Everything was great except the fact of the twin beds separate/move from each other. Should have an option of a double mattress or a way that they don't move if wanted. WiFi not strong.
Pleasant cozy hideaway in beautiful Rechavia
Friendly, helpful staff; warm, relaxing environment, good breakfast! We appreciate the kosher certification. The room we received, although functional, was small and dark, with a minimal space for baggage or any kind of work-space. No ventilation in the room, and no way to adjust the AC. To end on a good note: the outdoor eating area was very pleasant, and made for relaxed interactions with other guests, if that's what you wanted.
Great
Very good. Second time there. Will return.
Good value
This is a basic but clean small hotel. It's good value and the breakfast (included in the rate) is very, very good.
Great place to stay in Jerusalem
Love the Lottle House in Rehavia! Great breakfast everyday, friendly and helpful service. It is in a convenient location close to everything and a very safe, lovely neighborhood.
Great breakfast and lovely location. We had a really comfortable stay.
Loved location, friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Comfortable convenience
Check in took forever, as they couldn't figure out if we had prepaid or not--lots of unprofessional confusion. The room, though small, was clean and comfortable, however it did have an unpleasant odor and needed to air out. Other than that it was a very nice stay in a very convenient location. The breakfast was nice, nothing special, but totally fine. Overall the best part of our weekend was that we were right next door to the Synagogue where a family Bar Mitzvah was taking place.
Little house
Nice place, helpful staff, central location, great breakfast. Would recommend without hesitation.
Great location!
Great location but the hotel was not as attractive as I expected from the pictures. It has not been kept up. Doors are scratched for example. Also the bed was way too hard for my liking. Great staff though.
Nice hotel, poor Wi-Fi signal in room
I stayed with a friend in a twin room for 3 nights. The hotel is very clean with comfortable beds. The TV had lots of channels. The breakfast was tasty. Staff were friendly. The hotel is also in a nice neighbourhood within walking distance of the main sights in Jerusalem. My only criticism was the Wi-Fi. The signal was very poor in the room and kept cutting out. I had to go down to the lobby if I needed to use the internet for anything important as it was too unreliable in the room. Otherwise, great stay.
Location, Location, Location!
The three best things about this hotels are: location, location, location! And the staff. Seriously, this is an extremely convenient hotel -- we walked everywhere from the Hotel: Downtown, Machaneh Yehuda (the Market), the Israel Museum, Emek Refaim, and the Kotel. The staff are very helpful! The hotel is not strong on amenities, however.
Warm and welcoming , comfortable hotel
I was welcomed very warmly and made to feel at home.i arrived early and expected to just store my luggage until later. Instead, the staff saw that my room was ready and invited me to check into my room and then go out..
Location is great.
The stored my luggage and then called a cab. Good front desk service.
Little House in Rehavia | Hotel in Jerusalem | Travala.com
Small property in excellent location that is a real bargain. Facility is clean, simple andhas all basic necessities. Breakfast is also nice with selection somewhat smaller than usual at larger Israeli hotels.Staff is very nice and helpful but desk not manned a good part of the day and none at night.
