Very nice home ! we enjoyed our stay

This is NOT a hotel. It is some sort of business condo sharing situation. The check in / check out procedure is confusing. While the building is new, the room is worn, the cabinets contained open boxes of someone's food and the cleanliness was not what I would expect for the price.

Great view & location but shabby place

Close to downtown and with a stellar view of the city but the apartment needs a big overhaul - bathtub drips loudly, walls are very dinged, couch springs are broken and the couch is too uncomfortable to sit on and needs replacing, very limited dishes in the kitchen and no dish cloth to wash dishes/wipe counters. It would be hard to cook a meal there. The key fob we were given did not work and we were never given a working one as promised, which was fine until the code expired and had there not been others entering one night we would not have gotten back in easily. But, nice view and just needs some re-investing and updating to bring it back.

The property needs some maintenance, some new furniture in one of the bedrooms and living room as well as new blinds in the bedrooms. They need to supply more than just one towel per guest and sufficient dishes/pans to be able to actually cook in their very nice kitchen.

Rundown

Location was good, easy to walk to areas. View was outstanding of the city skyline. The apartment desperately needed a deep cleaning (I rent out my own property and am used to much higher standards for cleanliness). The bed was also very uncomfortable and needed a new mattress. Overall, I will not be returning to this property

2 bedroom condo in vibrant location

Comfortable condo in good location, 2 bedrooms as described. Simple check in/check out process. Vibrant area, the Drake Hotel is nearby and lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance

Great little condo near downtown Toronto

We stayed for 2 nights. Condo was clean with all the amenities. Life suites staff was helpful, personal and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Nice host but property was dirty and in poor condition and the check in process was inconvenient

Great view but very dirty and run down!

The view from the apartment was amazing however the apartment itself was very run down and dirty. Upon arriving the first thing that stood out was that this was clearly not the unit pictures in the booking. The floorboards of the cheap flooring were pulling up and pealing throughout the apartment. There was a layer of dust and grime covering the kitchen. The beds did not have bed spreads and the guest bed was broken and leaned to one side. The instructions were wrong that were left in the unit almost as if it were placed in the wrong building. The furniture was very cheap and stained. Overall, we had a very fun weekend in Toronto despite these accommodations.

Illegal Private Condo

This is an illegal, off the books room, you have to meet a shady condo owner outside to get the keys. Completely trashy and illegal.

Practical, overall OK. Not so great.

Unfortunately, the unit where we stayed foe the week was very dirty (floor, sheets, closets). The wooden floor was missing panels, which made it very uncomfortable to walk around. I informed Cathy from Life Suites via email about the unit being dirty and adding Disney channel for the kids. She replied that they would need me to be at the unit to let the cleaning lady in, so we stayed 1 whole day in the apartment and no one came. We basically missed 1 day of our vacation just waiting for a cleaning lady that never came. Thankfully, I was able to wash the sheets and towels and clean up the kitchen a bit, and found a vacuum in the closet, which I used to clean up the floor a bit for the kids. But overall very disappointed with the lack of service and cleanliness. The rooms were great, as far as accessibility. Living room and eat-in mini dining area was practical and perfect for our stay for the week. All appliances worked wonderfully (fridge, coffee maker, toaster, stove, microwave, water boiler for tea). Our only issue was the TV would not function with the remote and that a lot of channels we were interested in were blocked (Disney Junior, Disney Channel). They did accommodate our request for a rollaway bed, which was excellent, as we needed it for our toddler. Overall, great area to stay at. Parking is underground in the building and was quite costly, as you have to pay daily and overnight. But we enjoyed the view and our stay. Would not recommend, unfortunately.

Beautiful View if the CN tower

Our stay at the life suites was beautiful. We got to stay at the very top floor, and let me tell you the view was breathtaking. The unit that we had stayed at was clean and welcoming. High speed wifi and comfy couches to relax on. I would definitely go again.

Not bad

Kind of out of the way for where we needed to go. Very basic everything...used shampoo for hand soap etc But having said that our contacts were great and very friendly.

Would not go back and probably warn people against

I received a text as to how to get into the condo which said to not talk to anyone. The place was not dirty but not clean either. I ended up buying cleaning wipes because I didn't want to touch handles (you could see the finger marks) and the vents in the bathroom were covered in dust so I knew the place was not cleaned well. There was no sponge for me to clean my dishes with either. The internet did not work and I text to try to figure this out. The answer did not help so I ended up going to a local restaurant. I could not get into the gym and the person the other end of the text number could not help me. I ended up leaving the place early pretty fed up but also a bit concerned for my safety when I received a text that was obviously not meant to be sent to me. The location refunded me after MANY phone calls. I would never stay there again nor rec to anyone.

Perfect for an overnight

Nice small condo with basic amenities - very accommodating host. Perfect for our overnight adventure. Might need a few more necessities if staying longer. Great view! Clean and quiet in a lively neighbourhood. Thanks

Easy to find location that is close to downtown. Fantastic view at night with the city lights. Short drive to many activities.

Nice view in a cool area

Getting the appartment keys was a little bit weird because there is no lobby you have to text the person. Ok for Internet, ok clean but I found stuff belonging to the previous guest. When trying to communicate answers took a long time. Overall ok for the price and view.

Disappointing service

Unfortunately I had an emergency and needed to cancel my trip. I was booked for 2 nights Wed & Thurs. On Wednesday morning I called and informed them, I explained I I understand you can't refund I knew that when I booked it, but you can't predict emergencies. I asked if I could at least get a credit for 1 night (The Thurs night) the gentlemen on the phone said I would have to email the request and they will forward it to the owner. What I thought would be a fair and reasonable request, got shot down without any care or compassion or compromise. In such a competitive industry like this, service and experience is everything. I would not recommend booking with Life Suites if there is even a small chance that you will not make it because if they don't care about unpredictable emergencies, the really won't care if you just change your plans/mind!!!

Very convenient location.

We were met on time by a staff member who parked us and helped us with our bags. The condo was above our expectations with a second bathroom. It was within walking distance of restaurants on Queen and rage Royal. The kitchen facilities were adequate.

Amazing unit with a breathtaking view of Toronto.

This was honestly one of the best bookings I've done in a very long time! The host was very accommodating and had all the amenities I required. I was pleased with how clean and spacious the unit was and I would definitely recommend this room to others and even book again if I have the chance to do so. Staff at the front desk lobby were very pleasant and answered all my questions. I had absolutely no issues or concerns with this unit. Thank you to all parties that assisted me in my stay and Expedia for offering such a great service.

Nice View, Big "Eeewwe"

The room was advertised at approx. $189 but by the time all the "fees and taxes" were added on it was over $300, the regular rate. There is no check-in desk and someone meets you out front which was different for us. When the person was a bit late, we were starting to worry that it was a scam. The view was nice. The suite was not clean and there was a dirty hand towel (with blood on it) hanging on the rack next to a clean bath towel. The floor mat was actually a bath towel and was quite wet. When I called about it, the girl asked for a pic to be emailed so she could complain to the linen company. I told her that it was not them but the housekeeping, so all she said was to not use it. No one came to replace it, remove it...nothing. For that kind of money, we will definitely not stay there again.

Looks just like the pictures in a good location 12-15 mins from the heart of downtown

As stated above it looks just like it does in the pics But I have just a few pros and cons and hopefully this will be used as constructive criticism and I'm not trying to offend anyone So here I go ; Pros - Location , 2 bedrooms,2 bathrooms , washer and dryer (which came in handy), security , as u need a swipe to gain entry into the main building itself so it definitely seems safe and secure. Cons; Beds were very uncomfortable Place could use a good deep cleaning just so that people can feel more comfortable. I slept very lightly on the sheets as it had a feel that the sheets weren't clean( although they could have possibly washed them prior to arrival) so maybe that was just in my head , so I didn't have the best sleeps because of those issues. I was only given one set of keys but there was 2 of us staying in the condo together so it was definitely an inconvenience when we went our separate ways and had to meet up somewhere to give the key so they can get inside. They were told of how many guests were staying there prior so I felt that 2 keys should've been given from the start.....We were finally given a key after about 2 days! So definitely Communication could definitely be better!! Also they don't provide wash cloths which is not a huge issue but that's something that should be told to guests prior to them booking so that one can bring their own wash cloths They do provide towels though. I will admit that Ann was very accommodating with us coming in later than expected and she had Noah greet us and show us to the place . I'd give this condo 4.5/5 stars if it weren't for the slight issues stated .

Beautiful place but in a very loud neighbourhood.

The place itself is very nice with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, full kitchen, beautiful skyline view, etc., but it is located next to some kind of commercial building that is very loud. I had to wear earplugs and I could still hear it.

Just satisfactory

The condo was nice, but it is advertised as toiletries included. We had 2 towels & that was the extent of toiletries. I called & texted 2 times each for towels, wash clothes, & hand towels. We finally got a response & towels were not delivered until about 10am the next day. There was no soap for showers, no shampoo, nothing! If you pack & take your own towels, etc it would be fine but when it is advertised as included it's not so fine. We were ready to go buy towels so we could shower. For that reason we would not stay again.

A so-so apartment in a great location.

The location is great and the view is fantastic but the apartment is not satisfactory in so many levels. One of the mattress was sinking, both beds were wobbly and making a lot of noises... the backing of one bed was loosen -- luckily it didn't fall on my head! The apartment is OK, but isn't worth $200/night.

Great location and view for a good price

Great location - in the heart of Liberty Village - with shopping and dinning within walking distance. Phenomenal views of skyline of Toronto. Staff was helpful and courteous. The only area of improvement would be the cleanliness of the apartment. It was a little grimy and needed a major good cleaning.

3 day business trip

Was greeted promptly and received the key to the suite. Overall had no issues - nice to have a kitchen, etc.

Pros and Cons of this kind of accomodation

Location was great, and we loved our view of the CN Tower. Compared to a traditional Hotel it was great to have a full kitchen, fridge, etc as we were traveling with kids. Having two rooms was also excellent. We were frustrated by the extra fee's that were not clearly outlined during the purchase and while not a major disruption the quality of the construction made it easy to hear conversations happening in the hallway or if there was a party on the floor it would be loud. Overall it worked well, but the excessive fee's left a bad taste in my mouth.

Not as advertised

The whole experience was not what was expected. firstly, we had to meet the check in person in a building across the street which we thought was associated with the unit and it was not. The building manager was quite upset that we were using his lobby area to meet the check in person. we just got the key and was told which room the unit was and nothing else.. Also, we only got one key for the unit and had to request another one which we got the following day. When we got into the unit, most of the lights and outlets were not working. I did try resetting the breakers and got some lights and outlets working but not all. For the duration of our 5 day stay, the kitchen lights and most of the outlets did not work so at evenings we were mostly in somewhat of a darker room which was not totally appreciated. The location was not the best and we had to shift around the bed in one of the rooms to be able to close the bedroom door. The beds were comfortable and the view was nice. I may not recommend it to anyone else because of all the shortcomings with this room.

Great 2 bedroom condo with a stunning view of downtown.

Perfect for work

I needed a room for 1 night for a work Christmas party. I share the 2 bedroom suite with my colleague. It was a great little set-up, provided two separate sleeping areas and two full baths for privacy. but also had a nice common area with kitchen and living area. It was a nice fit.

Disappointed for the price of 250.00

Great location, great view. Should have had some instructions left on operating tv/cable system. There were NO TOWELS, other than one I found in a dryer, which looked like it was used for cleaning. Really should there not be a checklist before checking in, to make sure items like that never forgotten.? The walls sure could use a coat of paint.

Very good suite

Overall it is pretty good! But the lamp in the bedroom did not work.

Great location, better than a typical hotel

We stayed at LifeSuites on a family overnight trip to Toronto. The two bedroom apartment was perfect for us. The LifeSuites contacts were very nice, responsive, and helpful.

Excellent view

2 bedroom, 2 bath unit. Very clean and nicely decorated. Will definitely stay here again if it's available. Nice area with lots of food and drink close by.
