We had a wonderful stay at L'Hirondelle. The apartment was perfect, the location was fantastic, and the service was second to none. We highly recommend L'Hirondelle.

Delightful guest house fit our needs perfectly. Large family 2 parents, 4 kids. we got two rooms. Walking distance to corner grocery, restaurants, dive shop, and most importantly, Gold Coast beaches of Praslin! Just the right balance of space, nice patio, simple kitchen.

Brilliant small guest house, amazing sea views

Lovely large apartment with great facilities. The balconies from the sea view rooms are amazing with very nice furniture. The kitchen is well equipped, although we mainly just walked 10 mins (out of the gate and left) to several lovely restaurants. The four poster bed is perfect and so pretty. Loved it! Would 100% recommend.

Nice department, noise from road, sandflies

Great location, clean, comfortable

A short 3 night stay, hotel is right in front of a beautiful beach and walking distance to several ATMs, mini-markets and restaurants. Location was quite good, hotel arranges trips. There is only breakfast served to your room so lunch / dinner is either eat out or cook yourself as it is a self catering type apartment. Seychelles is quite expensive and I would say this hotel is quite reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel, would suit couples, families or friends.

Well - located accommodation near all restaurants and shops and next to the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful ( helping with renting of car, taxi, recommendations). During the Covid 19 situation our breakfast was prepared directly in our room by staff with the facemask which was really comfortable and really tasty. Even the road in front of the guesthouse was not noisy.

We spend excellent days during our honeymoon journey here. The room was very clean and romantic. We found everything we need. The fantastic sandy beach was in front of the house. Our host - Emilia took care of us, organized everything we wished as in fairytale...

Nice accommodation on Praslin with good location. Even though L'Hirondelle is self-catering, it felt more like a hotel in many ways. Breakfast (which is optional) was prepared in our own kitchen and served on our balcony - a new, but really convenient experience. The welcome drinks and amenities in the kitchen and bathroom were all things that we did not expect and have pleasantly surprised us. The staff were friendly and helpful (including organizing excursions). The room and building were nicely maintained.

Nice place next to a beautiful beach. Great view from balcony! Very comfortable for family of four. Would be good to have some space at the beach that could be used by guests. All together very pleasant.

Very central location and view of the sea is amazing. Clean apartment. Only negative is that the living space and bathroom is open with only slatted doors to the outside eg: no windows to close meaning that the mosquitos/insects get in to apartment making sitting in the lounge uncomfortable on an evening and risk been bitten whilst using the bathroom. Fortunately the bedroom has windows and solid doors which keeps out the insects.

On a main road busy from 5.30 am.,louvred doors and windows meant the only place to keep cool was bedroom.Sheets not changed in 5 night stay.

Good location , large room

A lovely apartment, great location across the road from the beach and a short walk from the "village". Having come from sleepy La Digue the road was very busy and noisy at times especially on Saturday night into the small hours ,handy though that the local bus stop was outside the front door . In comparison to the other two properties we stayed in we felt that it was a little overpriced for self catering accommodation and that breakfast should be included in the price paid. The biggest disappointment was that the management decided to change our air conditioning unit on our last evening . Why any property would choose to do this at 5pm when guests are returning from days out is very puzzling . We were offered another room but since we were leaving the next day it would have been too much upheaval to move . The most alarming point however was the fact that despite having been lectured on security and to make sure everything was in the safe and doors were locked ....the door was left unlocked by the staff after they had finished their work and we were out for dinner . Very disappointed and irritated at the lack of respect for our security . It was a shame as otherwise the positives outweigh the negatives.

Absolutely wonderful,we had room 4 which is one the first floor furthest left on the photograph and the view to the beach is amazing. There is a small supermarket nearby and several beach restaurants but best of all the beach just across the road is the best we have ever seen!!! We will return

Excellent choice for staying in Cote D'or. When booking I had a concern that it was close to the road but very little traffic after 10 pm and good sound insulation - slept well. Right across from the beach and all anenities nearby.

With a beach and bus stop outside, ATM 30 m away and restaurants very close by it has great accessibility. However, you do need to be aware that there is a very busy/active small road just outside your room. If you are a people watcher (take a top floor, room 7 was ours, and fill your boots) this is amazing; if you seek solitude then not. Fotunately the double glazed extremely well air conditioned bedroom is in the back and sleep is excellent on a very comfortable bed.

Excellent value property in Praslin

Great value, property and rooms are in excellent condition. Good value in-room breakfast for 12€/person. We stayed theee nights but could have easily stayed 7.

Läget är bra. Nära havet och ett litet samhälle med mataffären o fiskmarknad. Lägenheten är också bra och mysig med balkong mot havet. Vackra morgonen med himmel o havet innan trafiken med bussar och bilar börjar eftersom det kan vara störande. Mycket vänlig och hjälpsam personal. Maggi i receptionen är lyssnade.

Wij verbleven in een appartement met zeezicht. Erg netjes en schoon allemaal. Uitzicht geweldig. Personeel erg aardig en behulpzaam.

Trevlig personal, tråkigt läge.

Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Rummet var visserligen rent förutom vissa skrymslen t.ex i badrummet, men tyvärr ganska fult och otrivsamt. Läget på Anse Volbert trodde vi skulle vara optimalt vid den långa stranden med restauranger och butiker i närheten, men Anse Volbert är inte en strand man trivs på. Den är extremt långgrund och känns lite smutsig. Om vi skulle åka igen hade vi valt något annat, gärna närmare Anse Lazio eller Anse Georgette.

Wonderful stay

Right from the start, I felt at home at the L‘Hirondelle. The room was very clean and decorated with style and love to details. We were in a Garden Room with still a good view to the sea which I requested and appreciate a lot. The staff, including owner, cleaning ladies and night security guard were all extremely friendly and helpful. Location is fantastic as well. Right over the street you find shady places on the beach. 5-10 minutes walk to restaurants, take- aways and supermarkets. Try all the exotic fruits from the fruit stands!

Magnifique endroit

Magnifique résidence à 10 m d’une des plus belle plage de l’île. Possibilité de louer une voiture, excursions et petit déjeuner. Proche du centre ville avec de bons restaurants. Je recommande.

Très bel hébergement à Praslin. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Le personnel est adorable et très compétent. Nous avons eu un souci avec le toaster qui a été remplacé le jour-même par un neuf. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la proximité de la plage. Les commerces et restaurants et take away sont tout près.

Tolle moderne Unterkunft. Sehr nettes Personal. Bei Fragen ist stets jemand da und hilft. Das Geschirr hätte vielleicht etwas sauberer sein können, aber wir haben es einfach nochmal abgewaschen und gut war. Herausragend war auch der Zimmerservice. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen.

말도안되는 바다색을 바라보며 발코니에서 차 한잔을 마실 수 있는 숙소! 너무 만족합니다. 공항에서 아무택시나 잡아서 탔는데 그 택시안에 핸드폰을 두고 내렸는데, 택시 기사를 찾는거부터 찾을때까지 도움을 주셔서 너무나 감사했습니다. 투어에 대한 문의등 질문이 많았는데 그때 그때 친절히 대답해주셨고 방도 넓고 매우 만족스러운 숙소였습니다. 헤어질때 감사하다고 어떤 답가라도해드리고싶었는데 체크아웃할때 막상 다른분이 계시더군요~ ^^" 단점이라면 정말 작은 개미가 수천마리가있습니다. 그 어떤곳에도 없는곳이 없습니다~ ^^" 세이셸 호텔들은 조금 작은 느낌이네요 ^^" 여기도 매트리스가 짧아요. 누우면 다리가 나와서 옆으로 구부려서 자야합니다~ ^^""" 그래도 매트리스가 편한편인거같습니다. 그리고 5박있었는데, 비치타월을 한번만 교체가능하다고해서 이점은 단점같습니다~ ^^" 최소한 2일에 한번정도는 바꿔주시는게 좋지않을까~싶습니다. 주변에 마트 3곳정도 있어서 편하게 장 볼 수 있습니다.(카드 다 가능함) 바다는 바로 앞!! 투어갈때 배를 호텔 앞에서 출발 가능!! 위치상으로 매우 좋습니다. 또한, 호텔 입구가 버스정류장이라 호텔인포에서 쉬다가 버스오면 바로 탈 수 있습니다. 에어컨 잘되서 시원하고, 냉장고도 커서 요리해먹기도 매우 편리합니다.

Super charmante Unterkunft. Ich wurde mit einem Willkommensdrink begrüsst und durfte schon etwas früher einchecken. Ein Regenschirm und Strandtuch wird zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Frühstück (gegen Aufpreis) wird liebevoll zubereitet und auf dem Balkon serviert. Die Einrichtung hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Das Zimmer ist sehr grosszügig und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Es wird täglich blitzblank geputzt, das Bett liebevoll gemacht und die Räume mit Blumen dekoriert. Bushaltestelle ist direkt vor der Haustür. Supermarkt 2min zu Fuss entfernt. Dort gibt es auch einen Takeaway mit leckeren Currys. Nach dem Checkout stehen einem noch eine Dusch mit frischen Handtüchern und eine Toilette zur Verfügung. So kann man nochmals einen entspannten Strandtag geniessen. Für den Strand muss man nur die Strasse überqueren und ist schon da.

Awesome location, 10m from entrance to beach. Beautiful garden and terasse/balcony to relax in. Well functioning air conditioning. Some mosquitos due to close creek. Furniture a little worn down, not very clean.

Great place with lovely owners and staff

L’Hirondelle was our first stay on the Seychelles and really raised the bar. Both the owners and staff were always friendly, accommodating and helpful with tips. We got the feeling that they genuinely cared about just us having an amazing stay. The hotel itself was very clean and the room was lovely with a postcard view of the ocean and palm trees. I can recommend getting the generous breakfast, which is prepared in your kitchen and served on the balcony.

We had a very good stay. Free parking and very good wifi. They helped us with information where to go on the island and arranged tours for us. Everyone was very nice and helpful! Good breakfast that is served in the room. Very close to the beach and in a few minutes walk there are many resturants and supermarkets. Would stay here again!

Great stay. Spacious, clean appartment. Good location almost on the beach ( a road in between - didnt disturb us ) Friendly and helpful staff. Whish for just a little bit bigger beach towels and not signing them in and out and a small drier for clothes in the balcony, just these small things. Nice atmosphere. Small supermarket nearby and some good restaurants. All you need ! Will recommend this place.

Underbart boende

Fantastiskt boende. Rent å fräscht. Trevlig personal. Nära restauranger, affärer. Strand mittemot. Men under december månad som vi var där så var det höga vågor så för de med små barn inte så lämpligt under denna period. Vi hyrde bil å tog oss till mycket finare stränder med lugnt hav.

Condições bastante agradáveis, ambiente acolhedor, os serviços de limpeza foram fantásticos em termos de arrumação e limpeza todos os dias, staff muito prestável e simpático, internet funciona muito bem, localização fantástica, vista para a praia, zona envolvente com bons restaurantes e supermercados. Como ponto de melhoria, apesar da cama ser bastante confortável, o colchão poderia ser melhor e podiam colocar rede mosquiteira na janela da casa de banho.

Sehr charmente Unterkunft

Wir hatten diese Unterkunft sehr kurzfristig gebucht, lief aber alles reibungslos ab. Bei Ankunft hat uns Emelia sehr freundlich begrüßt und alles erklärt sowie Empfehlungen für Aktivitäten, Restaurants, etc gegeben. Das Zimmer an sich war liebevoll eingerichtet, perfekt für eine romantische Zeit mit dem Partner (hier hat sich jemand viel Mühe gegeben und einiges durchdacht) Sehr komfortable Betten und eine sehr gut funktionnierende AC (ein muss auf den Seychellen) Die Unterkunft war insgesamt sehr gepflegt und sehr sehr sauber, jedoch hatten wir an 2 der 3 Nächten unerwünschte Krabbeltiere in dem Apartment (ist halt so auf einer Insel) Das free wifi war super und schnell, das beste das wir bis jetzt auf unserer Reise auf den Seychellen hatten. Der Strand ist super, kaum Algen oder Menschen vorhanden, sauber, in unseren Top 3 auf Praslin. Super Lage des Hotels da viele gute Restaurants, Shops, Supermärkte und Aktivitäten in der Nähe die alle gut per Fuß erreichbar sind. Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Tür erlaubt für sehr gute Transportmöglichkeiten. Man kann auch über das Hotel problemlos ein Auto mieten (ca 40 euro pro Tag, auch für 1 Tag mietbar) hierbei hilft das sehr freundliche und sehr zuvorkommende Personal. Das einzige Manko: am Wochenende sammeln sich die Lokals mit ihren Autos und dessen Soundanlagen am Strand direkt gegenüber- hier kann es vielleicht auch mal lauter werden bis spät in den Abend. R würdden definitv wiederkommen.

Logement très bien situé en bord de plage avec une vue magnifique. A noté sur un bâtiment, pas de fenêtre vitrée dans la salle donc pas de clim, moustiques et bruit.

Sehr gute Unterkunft. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Direkt am strand. Kostenloser Parkplatz. Sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattete Küche. Können diese Unterkuft bei besten gewissen weiter empfehlen.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist geräumig und sauber. Auch das Bett war bequem.

Position idéale au milieu de Praslin.

Emplacement parfait, juste la route a traverser pour une plage de sable blanc immense, et vide.. Arrêts de Bus devant la maison. Personnel adorable, petit déjeuner fait dans votre logement. Clim que dans la chambre, mais ce n'est pas gênant, volets ouverts sur le balcon.

Belle guest house

Séjour très agréable, bon accueil. La chambre est fonctionnelle, très propre (ménage fait tous les jours), avec possibilité de cuisiner. Elle est très bien située par rapport aux commerces, restaurants, belle plage. Seul point négatif : le petit déjeuner qui pourrait être amélioré ( identique sur les 3 jours passés) et mauvais rapport qualité-prix.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Die Straße geht direkt davor vorbei, was nicht wirklich stört, da es nachts ruhig ist. Das Zimmer ist bis auf den fehlenden Toaster gut ausgestattet. Gutes, angenehmes Bett. Der Blick vom ersten Stock aufs Meer ist sehr schön. Das einzige Manko war die Klimaanlage, deren Luft direkt aufs Bett bläst. Wir haben dann ein Bettlaken am Himmelbett befestigt, um die kalte Luft vom Bett abzuhalten. Am Abreisetag steht den Gästen, wenn sie schon ausgeheckt haben, hinter der Rezeption eine super Dusche mit Handtüchern zur Verfügung. Das haben wir als sehr angenehm empfunden, da wir erst um 18 Uhr Praslin verlassen haben.

På en magisk strand

Fantastiskt litet guest house 20 meter från Cote D'Or Beach. Vi hade hela takvåningen men Ocean View Loft lägenheten med kök / vardagsrum, terrass samt två separata sovrum. Vi älskade både lägenheten och stranden. Stranden utanför hade den mest finkorniga sanden jag någonsin sett. Finkorning som mjöl. Vi var där i januari då det kanske inte längre är högsäsong men vi hade flera hundra meter beach för oss själva. Ni måste ta deras frukost. Det är värt det! Personalen kommer upp och lagar frukost för er i ert kök. Det är room service på steroider!
