"Conveniently located for all major tourist activities, just a short walk from Les Halles and the cathedral, with plenty of shops along the way. While the hotel doesn't have its own restaurant, there are Michelin-recognized dining options nearby, and the check-in staff offers excellent recommendations for a variety of cuisines. A great stay and highly recommended for anyone visiting Tours."
The staff was outstanding. They provided great dinner recommendations. They helped us find a medical clinic. And they accommodated out various requests with a smile. Great location, great hotel, great staff.
Excellent hotel
Property was beautiful. Staff was very friendly and professional. We had a couple if issues with things not working in our room but otherwise it was very comfortable.
Outstanding hotel in an area where luxury hotels are scarce
A Beauty with big issues
Luxury hotel excellent location but rooky staff with no onsite staff or emergency planning with faulty fire safety system and no plan. Fire alarm went off at 11 pm with no staff present. Thankfully there was no fire. Also room 16 has chemical fumes due to an old chimney nearby
Really nice accommodations, very walkable to the city center yet just off of it so it is quieter. Only a block from lots of food options. Customer service was very good and helpful and friendly. I used the pool/steam/sauna each day after exploring.
Lovely hotel
This is a lovely little hotel, right off of the centre of town. Close enough to walk everywhere, but just off of the main streets enough to enjoy a quiet night's sleep. The rooms had little touches like a bedside table with contacless phone charging, a free minibar with water and soft drinks, as well as complimentary tea and coffee. Great quality soaps and shampoos provided as well. We found the bed confortable, large and with good quality linens, and appreciated that the toilet/bathroom had proper separations and wasn't open concept. Towels and bathrobes were thick and comfortable. We used the little gym both mornings. It was impeccable, with high end machines. A couple of things to work on: *Toiletries weren't replaced on the second day (of a 3 day/two night stay), even though we had clearly run out of shampoo and conditioner. *Bathroom floor was very slippery when you had wet feet, and I found that the floor towel did not cover enough of the floor. I slipped twice. *The lighting could have used dimmers. It was either too dark or WAY too bright. However, all in all we had a confortable stay, and very much enjoyed the warm hospitality.
The design and planning of this boutique hotel is appealing and conducive to relaxation, feeling of being taken care of. As importantly, staff, in particular Mr Simon, who was at front desk and helped us with numerous requests, he and the people around him, as well as the gentleman next day (sorry cannot remember the name) - were excellent - in manners, service, communication and flexibility to our needs. Highly recommend this hotel!
I liked everything about this Hotel and the staff was fantastic. Our room (#2) was large and well appointed. Comfortable beds, good shower nicely furnished. The Courtyard area was an unexpected Bonus which we actually utilized for a little vacation down time, buying wine and cheese in the awesome Marketplace just across the way and taking a night to relax. We has no trouble parking. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Perfect spot in Tours, just steps from the Pedestrian area that has all the Restaurants as well. The littel spot for Coffee and the amazing Bakery just a few steps away were a fringe bonus!
Like many countries this summer, France was suffering with a very rare September heat wave when we came to Tours. The AC couldn’t handle it which made sleeping uncomfortable. After the first night, the staff made it possible for us to sleep in an empty room that did have AC. Bravo to them for caring and doing something about it!
Lovely boutique hotel located close to the old town but away from the noise. Rooms overlooking the courtyard are very quiet. Staff are very helpful.
Fantastic small hotel, with personal service and lovely decor
Great hotel, modern, feels new, great service, great location
Wonderfully located hotel. Even better staff!
Great five star hotel in a wonderful central location. The staff (especially Simon) are the star of the show! They really can’t do enough for you.. No restaurant in the hotel but don’t let that put you off, it’s in a great location for wonderful nearby eateries. Be sure to try the bakery over the road! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!
A tour of Tours
A very nice hotel, but a bit out of the way from the core of the city. The spa pool is pretty modest as is the sauna, but the very large room somewhat compensated.
Entire staff was amazing, especially Simon. Our room was not only beautiful but very functional, clean and comfortable. Perfect hotel, staff went above and beyond to ensure our visit was special and memorable.
Lovely property, stayed for 2 nights. Well designed rooms and features, spotlessly clean and lovely staff and breakfast spread. Highly recommended
Exquisite property in the perfect neighborhood. Close enough to walk everywhere but far enough away from the train station to be quiet. Across the street from the fabulous Les Halle market. The staff were delightful. We can highly recommend that you stay at Les Tresorieres!
