Good
We had high hopes for our stay, but were very disappointed. Our room was located over a service area (laundry room) and was noisy until after midnight every night of our stay. Our shower did not drain properly and flooded the bathroom if the water was on for more than 30 seconds, so we had to keep turning off the water multiple times during our showers. For a 4 star hotel this is unacceptable. We mentioned these things to staff, but nothing was done to correct it. We also had no ability to control our room temperature which was 27°C and ridiculously hot for a tiny hotel room. The location was good, but not enough to redeem this hotel and make us want to return or recommend it to anyone.
The property from the outside was absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, the carpeting in the room was very stained from spilles. We selected this resort as the said they had air conditioning. The unfortunate issue is they turn it off for the season. Our room was 28 to 30 celcius, we had to open the outside doors to try and get the temperature down. I call the front desk and the lady explained it was shut down for the year and there was nothing that could be done, just to make sure everything was turned off. No resolution or fans, just basically deal with it. The hotel need to put in their description that they do shut their air conditioning off for the season so people know what to expect, as we would not have stayed there knowing they shut it down.
Great resort just outside of town. Everyone who works here was friendly and time at the spa was relaxing.
Incredible location above the Lake with magnificent views and food
Food only available mostly at a high cost in the Michelin star restaurant. Room service options pretty slim.
Nice hotel.
Lovely interior of the hotel. I would stay again for the view of the lake and quietness of the hotel. Not great if you need to venture out to town when it's raining. Taxi is a big issue when theres none available.
Beautiful hotel with views across the lake and excellent breakfast. Car parking is expensive
The stay was supposed to be the last “hoorah” of our trip. I proposed to my girlfriend on our trip so was looking so forward to our stay. When we arrived to say we were underwhelmed is an understatement. The paint was peeling and the hotel looked like it was 140 years old. The website pics were beautiful and made the grounds look big and grand. But that was not the case. We also had to walk through a forest to get to the lake that was not lit up so was dangerous when walking back in the dark. We were told it was public property but then it shouldn’t be made available to their guests. They also wanted to charge 2 euros to play foosball which was outrageous. It was terrible value for the money they charged and made our last days not as special as we hoped.
This hotel is amazing, in a beautiful setting overlooking the lake with stunning views from our balcony. The staff were excellent, accommodating us when we needed twin beds not a double into a bigger and better room that came at the same price. There was a good choice at breakfast which we had on two occosions but we chose to wander through the old town on most days for other options and to take in the atmosphere. A truly lovely place just a short walk through the woods down to the lake and then a lovely walk to the old town. I cannt recommend this hotel highly enough and Annecy as a place to visit, it is truly stunning and the people friendly and welcoming.
The staff were wonderful, so friendly and detailed in their approach, we couldn’t fault them. It was our first stay here, and we’re planning our return already. The views from the hotel and its terraces, is utterly breathtaking our room on the 3rd floor was beautiful too. How nice to stay somewhere with a “ family feel” to it. We’re leaving revived!
Amazing place and view.
Amazing place, beautiful with all the comforts and not crowded. Surrounded by the forest and within walking distance to the lake. We will definitely return.
Inhuman service
For a last minute emergency, i was not able to experience a 2 nights stay in the hotel. The hotel was not cooperative at all to put it in another date claiming it is not refundable. I found it too "inhuman" even though it was mentioned non refundable. Just to say, i will not recommend it as they will not consider any exceptional case.
Good stay
Lovely hotel, good facilities, tasty breakfast. Argentinian lady at breakfast was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful setting with nice pool. Comfortable bed but room was dark. Receptionists were not too friendly.
Great room overlooking the Lake and lively vibe around the hotel. Great Spa also.
We loved Les Tresoms. The setting is beautiful, the grounds are lovely, the rooms were clean, comfortable, modern and a good size, and we got a balcony and view we weren’t expecting which was a nice surprise. We had dinner in the Atelier restaurant one night and it was great. Portions weren’t huge but it was nicely cooked and presented. The bar/lobby area and terraces are a perfect spot for a coffee or drink. This place is best if you have a car or take taxis into/from town as The walk thru the woods/along the lake road is easy enough in daylight, but less fun at night! We would definitely return here!
Very unfortunate that there was no restaurant available on Sunday. Also the hotel restaurant needs to be reserved before you get to the hotel if not you have to look for some place where to have dinner because during weekend usually is completely booked. The rest of our stay was good, place is beautiful and town is close by and very beautiful.
Too expensive for the age of the property and the little room my master closet bigger
Beautiful views of the lake
Up in the hills with beautiful views from the front of the hotel. We didnt eat there as it was a set menu and nit something that took our fancy. Location wasnt too far out of the centre but we did use the car to go down to the lakeside. Room was small but cosy. The bath was very small not one you could lay down in and wash your hair.
I loved everything about this hotel. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Annecy. If I ever come back here, this is the place!
Superb service, friendly and considerate in every way. Dinner at La Rotunda is well worth it.
A wonderful place.
Our stay was wonderful. We arrived with our dog and we all had a welcome reception. Our roof was comfortable and had everything we needed. Housekeeping added a dog bed and bowls too. Our meal in the restaurant was fab and the staff were great.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was lovely and clean. Would definitely go again!
Lovely
Wonderful hotel and staff. Great location not too far from the old town.
Fantastic stay!
Fantastic!
You have to eat dinner and/or breakfast on the terrace overlooking the pool!
I was really looking forward to staying here and it was going to be the relaxing end to a busy holiday. When we arrived at lunchtime feeling very hungry we were told both restaurants are closed on a Monday and that if we wanted food we had to walk 20 mins into Annecy. (Subsequently I found out we could have had room service but that wasn’t offered.) When we got into our standard room it was tiny. There wasn’t even a cupboard to unpack our case into. Just 5 hangers. So we lived out of our suitcases having to manoeuvre around them. Our balcony was not an enjoyable place to sit as we had two sets of workmen outside with a digger. The rest of the hotel is beautiful and the terraces by the swimming pool have a stunning view of the lake. Housekeeping were lovely and could not have been more helpful. There is no service by the pool you have to go in and order (drinks, no food again) and then nothing is cleared until the end of the day. All in all this did not feel luxury. I happened to meet the owner who asked about my stay. I told her my concerns and she offered me a massage at the spa or use of their bikes neither of which were suitable for me. She then said she would recompense us some other way but when I came to pay the bill there was no form of compensation. Which again was disappointing. This was not the luxury end to my holiday I had hoped for.
Nice hotel and pool area but rooms very small and drinks very expensive - €10 for a small beer ! Also at breakfast nobody asks if you’d like a coffee so you have to go and ask someone to bring it over . Seemed like most staff were young and inexperienced.
Annecy trip
No porter service No welcome drinks for my birthday Restaurant food not my liking, However view is very nice
The hotel was excellent and the staff very friendly. We were very pleased with our room and the lovely view of the lake. Very good pool facility. Some smaller issues were: Everything bar and food related are via the app, so no menus, which was not great for choosing wine and the restaurant, other than the Michelin star facility was only open Friday/Saturday. The Wi-Fi was not great and the walk into town through the woods could do with a decent path.
I don't have a bad word to say about this hotel. From the greeting when we arrived (including a mini tour to make sure we knew where everything was), to the stunning view over Lake Annecy from our balcony and the gorgeous room including huge bed and comfy sheets, everything was spot on. The walk to the old town is about 20 minutes - just enough to walk off a big dinner and not enough to need a taxi. Will definitely be returning!
Great Hotel with an amazing view !
Beautiful property with amazing views. Walkable to town. Helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again!
The hotel is in a wonderful location and the rooms were spacious and clean. We enjoyed the view from the balcony. The breakfast buffets were world class. The location is walkable to Annecy and we were able to explore the area in that way. The staff were very helpful and gracious, even with our limited ability to speak French.
Hotel was very luxurious and relaxing
Nice
Nice
Hotel was nice enough, room was a good size and clean. Staff were not very helpful and seemed a bit disintrested
Needs more work to become a 4 star resort
Beautiful location and wonderful views from the room- we had a lake facing view. However the hotel itself needs lot more work in terms of the following- rooms are very uncomfortable in terms of light switches, air conditioning, bathroom door is not private, no separate shower and tub with shower is very back dated- no shower caps etc provided. one has to book in advance expensive meals as there is no other provision. I would not recommend the place- it takes about 20 mins to walk to the town closeby and it is a beautiful walk and steep climb but with no lights along the way at night it can be a bit hazardous
Breakfast choices are limited and room service is slow plus management is not helpful. There are no services near the hotel as you all have to use the car
Great welcome
Some confusion with the room. Website shows the deluxe room had a balcony but our room was a loft room with no balcony and a low ceiling bathroom and shower. Great staff, friendly and helpful. Wonderful restaurant - L’Atelier, where we are on Sunday and which unfortunately was closed on Saturday due to a wedding and the gastronomic restaurant had a much higher than advertised on their website at 199€ per person meal charge - due to fête du lac.
Nice property with good facilities in beautiful setting but… The air conditioner in one of our 2 rooms didn’t work - first it was suggested that we didn’t know how to use it and then told it was working fine - as we had the second room to compare it with it was very obviously not working fine. Despite being out all morning and much of the afternoon only one of our rooms was cleaned. I only realised the children’s room hadn’t been at 7pm as we were heading out to dinner and didn’t raise it as assumed too late and due to lack of response to air con issue Very minor point but on second morning (of 2)we were told they were out of hot chocolate at breakfast- this has been a staple in every hotel or cafe in France I’ve ever visited so would expect to be available
Very nice view and beautiful property. A bit of a walk to old town. Easy going but difficult to return at night.
Beautiful hotel, poor service
Beautiful hotel with fantastic views, unfortunately the overall experience was spoilt by the poor service we received. The bar staff were very slow to serve you, staff were often missing from the bar and had a lack of knowledge of what drinks they had available. To top it off I ordered a vodka and coke which came with no vodka! Drinks were very expensive - a very small Cappuccino costs 7 euros. We had an issue with the bath not draining, when the staff came to fix the problem, they removed the plug plate with a screwdriver and said to call them if we had any further issues (which we were bound to have as it happened every time you wanted a bath) - not the kind of service I would expect for a hotel costing over 300 euros a night. Cleaning staff didn’t replenish stocks of coffee and milk and when we queried this, we were told you had to ask everyday for them due to the hotel’s plastic eco policy, this seemed ridiculous to us, because if you they replenished the stocks and they weren’t used surely they could be put back into central stock? For us it sounded more like stinginess, than being eco friendly. The pool and sun lounger area was great and the local area was very nice, but if I return would look for alternative accommodation.
What a beautiful resort! We had a room with a panoramic view of the lake. The staff was friendly; bed comfortable.
We were very disappointed - we had hoped to combine our visit to the city with a great country experience. The hotel is not set up to accommodate travellers - for example options for dining are limited to the full restaurant experience. In room breakfasts were shockingly expensive. We did not expect the 5-7 minute cab rides to the city to be 30-40 euro. Destination hotel - little flexibility for regular traveller.
Everything from the ambiance of the hotel to staff was absolutely incredible!! My friend and I LOVED our stay. And the say
Fantastic sta, exceptional service and beautiful
All round fantastic stay!
Wonderful place to stay!
The view was nice
Really worth it. Lake view privilege room.
Really amazing view and room lovely. Room 216 a privilege room was great with private balcony. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Had dinner out so cannot comment on food. 20 min walk to town
Wonderful lake view and Michelin star restaurant
Wonderful lake view from room. Exceptional restaurant. Excellent service. Very nice walk through the forest to go to lake
Beautiful Lake View
We had a wonderful two night stay with beautiful weather. This was our first trip with our baby (2.5 months) and the hotel was super helpful with providing a nice crib which helped her to sleep all night. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds and the view are so lovely that it is worth staying even if you don’t end up having time for the spa.
Beautiful hotel , in lovely position on Lake
Great Stay during COVID QR code fiasco
Way over priced if you havent a view of the lake. A little old fashioned and not very relaxing, generally got rhe impression - 'all a bit up itself' for no reason. Staff could have been more cheerful and friendky. On a plus point the 15 minute walk to the old town is very pleasant.
Beautiful property
Tres bel hotel et situation, super restaurant un delice! Spa agreable mais un peu petit pour la frequentation. Chambre standard petite surtout au niveau de la salle de bain
Perfect.
Fabulous. Couldn’t fault it. Beautiful room overlooking the lake.
Great views and fantastic pool & spa faciltities
The view over Lake Annecy is amazing and the pool and spa facilities are fantastic. the room was fine although small on overall space. The walk down to the town is a bit of a trek and a bit of a hill coming back but it is only about 20 minutes. We arrived on a special wedding anniversary having read the reviews about the restaurant we had decided to have a special celebratory fine dining experience - the restaurant is closed on Mondays !! The only option was room service. We went to town and had an amazing meal by the canal and decided to have our celebratory meal on the Tuesday - when we went to book a table we asked for a window table but were told they were allocated on a first come basis and they could not offer us this. The meal was very nice but very much at the top end of fine dining prices.
Poor
living on its past reputation perhaps, but a Hotel charging this amount of money should be excellent - It wasnt! - Pool loungers that looked worn out and were extremely uncomfortable, 7 Euro for a cup of cold coffee and then a load of attitude from the waiter when brought to his attention NOT good enough. When your charging £25.00 for Burger and Fries Dont bring warmed up Fries and underdone burger to the table
Spectacular location - accommodations lacking
I would have loved to give this place a high rating because its location and vibe are great. However, we arrived at 4:30pm and room was not ready until after 5pm. Looked forward to using the whirlpool the following morning, but that was out of order. We opted for a very basic 2 twin bed room and weren't expecting luxury, but room was so small it was hard to pass one another. This room was better suited for 1 person. Needed the AC but it was very weak and only felt cool by the morning.
3 star at most
Great location but a bit dated and staff are definitely not client focused. Pool area still had last nights dishes the following morning!! We had two large bags but still had to go up stairs on last level to get to our room. For the price you would expect all rooms to have a lake view......but not ours! On another note...although pricey the registration dinner was fantastic.
Great lake views from this just out of town spot
We really enjoyed our 3 night stay in Les Tresoms. The hotel is as pictured with a fantastic view from the hills over Lake Annecy from the lovely pool and eating areas. Our room, whilst quite compact, was clean and the bed very comfortable. The hotel is about a 20-25 minute walk from the Old Town and involves a quite steep hill, so might not be appropriate for everyone. There aren't any other bars or restaurants in the nearby vicinity, so you are a little restricted in terms of the hotel restaurants (especially if it is raining so don't fancy the walk), however the meals we ate there were very good. As we were a little unlucky with the August weather we made good use of the facilities including unrestricted use of the lovely spa, bike hire and free use of the nearby tennis courts.
lovely hotel overlooking the lake
A beautiful hotel with magnificent view of the lake. Excellent meals and helpful staff rounded out the stay.
Beautiful bedroom and bathroom, and lake view
Beautiful room and bathroom, and view of lake, and nice balcony
A real treat
A beautiful hotel situated a 20 minute walk from centre of Annecy - though the quickest walk is down through a wooded area which isn't lit at night time and is quite steep. Stayed for 4 nights - staff very helpful; we had one meal in the restaurant and while quite expensive, was one of the best meals we've ever had - a real treat. We also hired bikes from the hotel and cycled round the lake - brilliant cycle paths though suggest you go clockwise to avoid the one steep hill - absolutely stunning scenery. The town of Annecy is very pretty and has great shops, restaurants and markets. Altogether a great few days
Is Everyone treated this badly?
Good use of the facilities, Sauna, Steam Room, Indoor heated pool and outdoor pool. Beautiful views. However, that is where it ends! The staff were rude and seemed to not enjoy their jobs and this was clear to see. We eat in the restaurant only one night and this was enough to not eat there again! The waiter was rude and could not even look at us. Left us to find out own table. I ordered vegetables with my main course of which never arrived. We were also asked if we would like bread of which I agreed politely and also never appeared! When we asked for the bill we were left for a long time and eventually I had to approach the till to pay! I reported this to reception and they said they would investigate.....nothing was ever reported back and I not only mentioned it a further 2 times but also emailed them after to no response! Very Poor customer service at this hotel! Do not eat there. Only stay in this hotel if you are happy to eat in the old town for every meal. Beautiful views but that is all. The Air conditioning was also switched off and when I enquired they said they would send a fan to the room which of course also never appeared even after a few reminders!
Great views BUT
nice hotel with great views. food in the restaurant was good and expensive!!. Breakfast was passable. continental with cheese, meats and breads etc but the staff didnt really want to be there. we had to arrange our own cutlery, crockery etc. asking for milk, tea, plates etc.etc.we even chose our own table as the staff were indifferent to us being there. they could easily have saved the cost of the 2 girls and just left a note saying help yourself. there was no tea coffee making stuff in room. we paid extra for the lake view room but unfortunately the room was only slightly larger than the king sized bed. (rm 102)
Annecy
Lovely pool & spa, rooms rather small
Really nice secluded hotel with stunning view of the lake!
Misinformed
My stay was overall good but according to hotel information it was supposed to be a fittness center witch they did not have. I do not care much for places with misleading information. Hotel pool was also closed. Overall the hotel itself was good and personel friendly.
Ok stop off but wouldn't return
The hotel is nice but the elevator only went to the second floor so we carried our own luggage up steep stairs, there was no offer of help from reception. The room was a good size but had a pitched ceiling and very cramped bathroom, couldn't even stand up in the bath for a shower
Excellent hotel overlooking Lac Annecy.
We had room with a balcony that was luxurious and comfortable. The pool and spa facilities are excellent. The hotel overlooks Lac Annecy and the bike path and is a short walk to Vieille Annecy along the lake. This was a perfect spot for my wife and I to relax and recover after daily bike rides to the south around the the Semnoz and the Lake.
Good and bad
The information that children under 18 not permitted is wrong and was the reason we booked Service not good enough for that price
Great location unhelpful staff and terrible food
Beautifully located with superb views over Annecy and the lake but you wouldn't want to stay here. The staff are, at best, un attentive and incompetent ranging to sadly at times belligerent and down right rude. The food is abysmal with no redeeming attributes particularly when served by the male waiting staff with an under measured and over priced glass of wine. Willing to take my money but unwilling to provide the service any price tag should demand. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else but here
Nice place
The stay wwas one night for a friend's anniversary and we had the chance to enjoy good French cuisine
Superb location with wonderful views of the lake.
We arrived at 2:30 to be told the room was not ready in a less than courteous manner. It was still not prepared by 4pm which is a little bewildering for a 4 star establishment. The lack of a kettle is just ridiculous and the penal cost of breakfast perhaps reflects a narrow minded management. Not much concept of service from management but staff were friendly enough.
Restaurant service
The food was great, but the waiters at the casual restaurant were terrible. They brought out food at weird times and charged us for a course they brought us by mistake because I had a bite of it.
Glitters, but not gold
Very patchy impression. The hotel is newly refurbished, but no thought went into proper planning or using a designer. To get into spa you go through the restaurant so you change into a robe and slippers, take your towel and pass by the guests, who pay 100 euros per head for their dinner… The hotel is glittery, but falling apart. Most materials used are very cheap: doors are not closing unless you slam them, signs are falling down if you breathe at them. Wood around spa area is rotten, our children nearly fell off as the barrier was completely broken. Floorboards bend under your feet. In our room Jacuzzi nozzles were falling off and some switch kept turning loudly on and off every 30 mins throughout our stay (very annoying during the night). All materials are cheap, furniture mismatched, very tasteless. Tried to go eclectic, but failed spectacularly. TV stand came from the 90-ies, coffee table was so flimsy, I thought it would brake. Shame as location is amasing, views from the rooms are spectacular and the town of Annecy is very close by.
Nice hotel with amazing view
This hotel not for family. Amazing view And highly recommend for couples. Don't book the small room . And u should book a room with a lack view. You can walk to the old town and it will take around 15 to 20 min They have free WiFi
Very good location
Thought the dinner and the breakfast were overpriced. Not overly helpful with small baby - for example putting us in a room with stairs or not proposing to heat up baby food. But overall very nice hotel, beautiful views of the lake, nice staff and beautiful pools!
Very pleasant experience
Staff was very accommodating and helpful. We enjoyed relaxing SPA and pool area.
Hidden Gem
Very stylish hotel. Currently still being refurbished but this does not really detract from staying. Staff friendly and helpful. Drinks expensive.
Great views, overheated rooms
Great location overlooking lake annecy, woodland walk- steep - into annecy. The room was small, had to out the chair in the wardrobe space to enable us to open our suitcase! No air conditioning and the room was overpoweringly hot so we got no sleep for our two nights stay. The curtains didn't close sufficiently to block out the lights illuminating the front of the hotel. After the first night one receptionist told us to pack our bags and they would change our room, did so but another one said no can do , you've got a fan!!
Beautiful hotel near Old Town of Annecy
Overall we really enjoyed staying at Les Tresoms. The location is not good if you are not a walker and want to save on taxi fares. There is no shuttle service to town. We walked through a dark woods to get to town but were ok with that since we are in good shape. We also rented bicycles at the hotel. Amenities were excellent. Beautiful older hotel with nice pool & spa. Room was very hot since AC did not work & had to keep windows open. Location to area was overall great & staff very helpful.
Lovely hotel over looking the lake.
We stayed 2 nights in a lake view room. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was superb.
A bit away from the city, food service spotty
Hotel is in nice area by the a lake but 15 minutes through the woods to the city center. If you decide to stay on property beware that food is only served in restaurants at only certain times of day. No 24-hour service available. Staff speaks very limited English, but is trying hard to help. Some rooms don't have a shower only bath tub.
Friendly service
On arrival at the hotel the lady at reception was very welcoming and check in was very speedy. Our room was stunning and really clean - the view over the lake was breath-taking; I just wish the sun had been shining. We asked at reception for restaurant recommendations in town and the lady gave us a map with 4 or 5 places to look at which saved us so much time. The walk into town was pleasant but quite hilly so wouldn't be suitable for infirm or unfit people. We only stayed one night but our flight home wasn't until the evening so we were allowed to spend the afternoon in the spa which was an amazing way to end the holiday. Highly recommend this hotel, particularly the top range room with a private balcony.
Disappointing
We were very disappointed. The hotel seemed tired with drab brown uninspiring decor. Surprisingly unimpressive main lounge. Bedrooms small. However dinner was excellent with fantastic views across the lake. Generally the hotel was expensive for what it was. I won't be going back unless they have an upgrade.
Wonderful place
Wonderful location, staff very polite and helpful, nothing was a bother.A steep walk back from town, but well worth the visit.Pool superb and the scenery beautiful from The gardens. The room was lovely, with a small balconey.,lots of toiletries and dressing gown and slippers all included. We will be back.
Excellent views, friendly hotel
We had a great time at this hotel - a good location, 15min walk down into the old part of Annecy. The pool is lovely. NB: the traditional (cheaper) rooms don't have air conditioning, but the more expensive rooms do!
Pool : ), Everything else : (
We were given a room with a view of nothing but the parking lot. (It was advertised as "garden view". It smelled horribly of smoke. When we asked to switch rooms, the hotel offered us a smaller room--not good. The space in the rooms is very unpractical with only a foot around each side of the bed. Trucks were arriving and unloading from 6am on making it impossible to sleep in. Pool was nice, but don't plan to get drinks there unless you want to spend 3-4 times a normal price. It was okay but we would try somewhere new and not stay here again.
Amazing!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We had an attic room with spectacular views of the lake. Furnishings throughout hotel were stylish and fresh, and the customer service was fantastic. We particularly enjoyed our meals at the restaurant. The degustation menu with accompanying wines was pricey but delicious, and the knowledgable waiters really added to the experience. Buffet breakfasts were also excellent. On-site day spa was lovely, but book early! Pool and terraces were great, plenty of seating, and beautiful scenery. The walk into town was an easy 15 minutes, with fairly steep forest track located on hotel property. Plenty of parking if have your own car, but we enjoyed the walk. We'll be back.
Lovely Lucerne
The staff were very friendly and all spoke English. The meals in the restaurants were excellent as was the breakfast (especially the bread!)
Tresoms hotel
Lovely location, high quality hotel, very helpful and friendly staff, location and views great
Disappointed
We choose Les Tresoms for an overnight stay on our way to Chamonix as we had a lovely visit to this hotel five years ago. Unfortunately, as we had not booked in advance we were unable to have dinner in the lakeside dining room, but we were offered a table in the brasserie. We were ask to return to the bar area for a drink while they prepared our table but there was no-ne serving at the bar. The brasserie seemed to only have one person attending eight tables which was totally inadequate for a busy Friday evening. The brasserie menu was pricey - 25 euros for a steak and no option of ordering any vegetables. When we got to our room, it was so small that we could not open the bathroom door fully as it opened into the bedroom and butted against the end of the bed. The bath was a tub and not a full size bath and there was no bracket on the wall to fix the shower head so it had to be held. All together this was an expensive and unacceptable experience and we will not return to this hotel. It was especially disappointing as we had stayed previously and enjoyed our visit to Les Tresoms.
Tresoms, Annecy France
Spa type hotel with very small , uncomfortable beds, and rooms. No air, hot smelly and old furniture and furnishings. Room too small to move arround in and without ventilation was totally bad. Restaurant was nice, but very expensive. View was lovely from the restaurant.
Les Tresoms is One of Annecy's Best
Les Tresoms is a boutique style hotel with an accompanying spa facility that is well appointed and relaxing. The restaurant is top quality, with a great wine selection - specializing in unique, local wines of the region. The hotel's location overlooks the lake, and has immediate access to nice walking trails throughout the Semnoz. I strongly recommend Les Tresoms for it's ambience, location, and food.
We were on foot and able to walk to/from the train station through Annecy which took a leisurely 40 mins (for those so inclined - it’s a hill!). The climb was worth it. Beautiful lake view from our window and pleasant concierge staff. We rented e-bikes (40e/each) for a day and road the beautiful 26mile path around the lake. Also easy access to hiking trails above Les Tresomes. Highly recommend!
