Great food and service

Fantastic hotel Clean

The front desk is not always staffed. The staff is rude and poorly trained.

There were ants in the kitchen almost daily. The staff came to clean frequently but the problem never went away.

The convienence of the location to IMG soccer fields would be the only reason I would return. Had a handicap room. #1 no shower curtain #2 shower chair was broken Would have preferred room closer to elevator do to walking limitations. Restaurant too small for the amount of people staying there. Staff was very friendly.

Decent hotel, but terrible smell outside

The air vent near the main entrance is blowing, extremely strong air and smells like it's coming straight from a grease trap. Not a great way to welcome guests

Pool

The AC did not work properly or the thermostat was difficult.

We had a soccer game at the IMG Academy early in the morning, and staying at their Hotel was a great experience.

The staff was kind. Thay took me in a cart to wherever I wanted to go within IMG Academy.

I love the property overall. However, they need to clean the alarm clocks in the rooms. They were pretty bad. The breakfast was mediocre, it was not warm. Except for a pancake that I had the rest of it was on the cool side , the eggs , the sausage cold. I will never understand serving ice cold butter you can't spread it on a pancake or a waffle it's ridiculous.

Neglected Property

The Villas haven’t been updated since the 90’s. Half of the rooms’ spectrum cable boxes didn’t work. The master suite had 2 double beds on different walls, which was awkward for my wife and I, and the king bed was in a smaller room for the kids. Giant closet in master suite, no hangers, room keys kept malfunctioning as did the QR code to access the area. Lots of weird decor mismatched from little fixes over the years. Overall just neglected over the years. Not worth the price

The villas need maintenance and repairs and some new furniture. Carpet very bad. Bathrooms need repairs. Kitchen had limited cookware. Porch was dirty and bugs

Location!

We had a reservation for the 3 bedroom villas. The first unit we were assigned had a broken bed. We noticed a slump in the middle and removed the mattress only to find broken slats and a spare tire that was attempting to hold the mattress up. We called maintenance the night we arrived and had to follow up the next day at the front desk to arrive. The unit also had a strong odor which I believed to be mold or mildew. The front desk and maintenance leader were very helpful and graciously assigned us to another unit. The unit had functioning beds and no smell but it was really beat up and not up to the standards I’d expect for $500 per night rate. Luckily we only had a 2 night reservation. The main hotel seemed nice but I definitely wouldn’t recommend a reservation at the villas.

Pretty hotel. But.

Disappointed. It has all the trappings of a lovely hotel, with 0 follow through. The $18 breakfast was no better than most continental breakfasts, we had 0 extra towels, 0 extra blankets, had to call multiple times and finally go down to the front desk for that, 0 water pressure which they knew was an issue, there was a flashing light in the room all night. Bed was comfy.z

Not worth the price

Rooms were not very well insulated from outside and hallway noise. Overall rooms were clean however shower curtain had evidence of mold, and curtain closing device had fallen off prior to arrival.

We were here to help a friend and needed 3 rooms they were very accommodating to us we had a great time there and it was very convenient

The property is very nice, the $18 breakfast was ok. If you wanted to have a machine cappuccino it was extra which it shouldn’t be. They supplied me with non gluten bread when I requested it which is good. The room was lovely except for the Motel 6 towels which if it was my hotel, I would be embarrassed to offer guests paying over $260 for the night including a $20 resort fee. Normally I would have stayed at the Best Western because of what they offer for the price but because of Milton it was booked out.

Big shout out to everyone involved - the hospitality and safety is unprecedented. THANK YOU

What a gem!!

We were at Legacy due to the hurricane Helene. We were working on our family home. Everyone we met there was kind and gracious. All amenities were amazing. The food and drinks were great too.

Stayed for a local wedding with family and friends. Staff went above and beyond. Maybe the wedding less stressful having a consistent spot to recharge and meet up. Delicious food, wonderful pool and thoughtful staff.

Friendliness of the employees! Molly was exceptional!

Spotlessly clean, warm and friendly atmosphere. Pool was sparkling and grounds were impeccable. The restaurant on the property was very good, and we enjoyed Patrick’s care of us! Need more electric plugs in the room though. My husband and I both have CPAP’s and lucky we brought our own extension cords. That’s a very small complaint (not even a complaint; just a suggestion) Wonderful stay!

Legacy hotel is great. The employees are the best I’ve ever seen. We were displaced by the hurricane and they made it feel like home. Thank you for making a very stressful time bearable.

The hotel itself is clean and quite. The staff was very helpful.

I love the cleaning staff!!! Very helpful and very polite. The front desk however was average. My arrival was to one person on her phone laughing and scrolling, the other, the one who checked me in, I believe would rather have been dead. Same person who checked me out. I asked for a printed receipt, and she tried convincing me that she would have to walk to the printer to get it. I had to ask for it twice.

50 cent bed in a $500 a night villa

Possibly the worst beds possible. One actually has a tire shoved under the bed to try and hold the middle up. For the price you would think the beds would be top tier, not the case.

All the staff were super kind and helpful

The hotel is not in any kind of condition to give itself a “modern luxury” tag. I didn’t sleep my entire six nights due to the amount of sound in the hotel. You can hear everything, the ceiling shakes and rattles if you’re not staying on the top floor, and housekeeping is extremely loud beginning very early through the afternoon (beeping walkie talkies, most on FaceTime). There is no rest to be had in this hotel. You can hear every toilet flush next to you, above you, etc. Bathroom makes loud clanging noise every twenty minutes. Housekeeping first refused to give me new sheets upon discovering them stained because “the stain doesn’t come out”. Many outlets didn’t work in the room. Dirty radio/appliances. Had to ask almost everyday for clean towels at the pool. Very disappointed in my entire stay which was also incredibly expensive - not worth it whatsoever.

They charge 859 more to my credit card when I already pay the reservation with Expedia

The room is good, but it is very difficulty to open the gate by the passcode.

I have stayed a few times as my daughter attends IMG, affordable and kind staff, great pool and fitness centre, I would only suggest compfy pillows 😊

Not impressed for the price

Multiple hairs in the shower; crappy foam pillows and took two calls to the front desk to get a blanket sent up to the room. In the morning, no less than 4 different knocks on the door for housekeeping even though I was checking out. And housekeeping was VERY loud on walkie talkies up and down the hallway starting before 9AM on a Sunday?! Curiously they have a Quiet Hours sign on every floor but I guess that just applies to guests, not staff.

Beautiful property. Friendly helpful staff. Restaurant recommendations were excellent. The on site breakfast was plentiful. One thing I would suggest is that they either lower the cost or make it part of a package with the room. Way too expensive. Husband only ate there one morning. The pool area was wonderful as well. Beautiful pool,with cabanas and other seating. Mini golf and lawn games. It is near the academies campus. You can here practices and games going on in the background. Was no problem for us. Best hotel stay we have had in a long time.

Likes: lobby coffee and tea availability. Open lobby concept. Dislikes: indifferent front desk associates, both checking in and out Rooms are very dark. Had to have an additional lamp delivered. Towels are small and harsh. About half the size of a normal 4 star hotel. Bed was hard and unforgiving. Pillows very thin. Limited bedding and blankets. No real closet space. Safe literally on closet floor.

Person at check in front desk was not friendly or helpful. She definitely looked like she didn’t want to be there. The pool had no towels and large dogs were allowed around the pool. The toilet was not flushing and making noise, I asked to change rooms, but instead, I had to wait for handyman to fix it. This was very inconvenient since we wanted to enjoy the pool!

Room was very dirty; visible dust on bedside table and clock. Staff was unresponsive to request for an iron - took over an hour and several phone calls before receiving the requested iron.
