Rooms doesn’t match the price
I understand this is an old establishment but very poorly maintained. The bathroom bidet was NOT draining as soon as i walk in the room. I asked for a non smoking room yet i was put in a room that smells like a bunch of amokers were in it before us. The area around the hotel smells like pee so if you decide to walk out to grab food or something, be prepared. Also if you decide to sit at the Ivy cafe by the lobby, i ordered a burger for me and one for my son and it took 40 minutes to come, God knows what would happen if i ordered a steam
I don’t recommend
Excellent service
They broke my bag, and they didn't admit it.
My stay there was excellent as usual.
Room was beyond here dirty. Staff is rude
Excellent
Very bad service from the security team
Location is great. Nice staff. Great Facilities
The hotel needs refurbishing, and in the same time they have to take better care of cleanliness.
It didn’t stand up to the amount that it cost
The staff here are absolutely brilliant. Generally, everyone in Jordan is incredibly kind. I’m going back to the UK today and I am absolutely gutted. The staff are so quick and efficient. The hotel is clean and gorgeous from the inside and outside. There are spa facilities open, both mix and segregated. I will definitely be returning. The staff will help with any queries but I would strongly recommend the following: 1. Uber for all local travel 2. Rent a cheap car from Enterprise for all longer distance travel - always carry passport and driving license with longer distances as police randomly stop you but they’re really lovely. 3. Get a Jordan pass if you’re definitely doing Petra, otherwise it’s pretty much the same costs. Jordan pass is easier but there are a couple of things you may have to spend £2-£3 pounds on such as sacred Churches etc. I would personally always get a Jordan pass. 4. I did the Amman sites and malls, Mount Nebo and Madaba, Petra and Wadi Rum, Lots Cave and Dead Sea and Cave of the 7 sleepers. I was only here for 7 days and if I could, I would’ve done Jaresh and Aqaba. 5. WiFi everywhere is brilliant but get yourself an eSIM. I bought one for 19 euros from Holafly for Jordan and the signal is brilliant. This gave me 5 days of unlimited data. It is expensive in the long run but for me, I was more than happy for fork out for it. I swear, it’s amazing. The people are amazing. Especially the Palestinian Jordanians. Absolutely beautiful.
All was good.
Everything was just great
MashAllah! Beautiful location. The staff is amazing. Excellent water pressure. Amazing customer service! I stayed here since it was closer to our hospital to give birth. I love this hotel and the staff. Beautiful and elegant!
All ok and as plan
Nice and clean and good view
Great Property with good customer service.
I arrived at about 11 PM, so the hotel cafe was not open. Furthermore, there was nothing in the room fridge, i.e. the "minibar". So, I had to order from room service. I was surprised to find there was no wine listed on the menu. Coming from Kuwait I was looking forward to a glass of wine. On the phone, I asked room service if wine was available. He recommended that I get it from the minibar. I explained to him that there was nothing in the minibar. I resorted to ordering beer. I also ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad. Sadly what I got was a bowl of somewhat cut-up iceberg lettuce (instead of romaine) drowning in blue cheese dressing (instead of Ceasar)..I ate it anyway because I was so hungry but it really stood out as one of the worst meals of my life! The location was a good for this visit but I do not plan a repeat. On the bright side, the room was nice and was clean. I was able to figure out how to change the temperature to cool the room (though it was down to guesswork due to no labels explaining what to do). The maid was bright and cheery. The TV remote control stopped working and when I reported it the replacement came quickly. The hot water was excellent and the shower worked perfectly. I miss having a bathtub in a 5-star hotel but it seems bathtubs are generally disappearing. One thing is needed: these days almost everyone is recharging electronic devices by USB connection. In a 5-star hotel, it would be good to provide at least one USB electronic outlet.
Friendly staff
i always stay at le royal when i visit Jordan ..i found it at all time good for traveller like me who like quite clean and helpful staff at the cafeteria and restaurant .. rooms always cleaned at your request ... i stayed in other 5 star hotels before in Amman ..this hotel staff excellent you always make you and visiting friend welcome .. in general the hotel is very good
Perfect staff location
I love this hotel I always stay there Very nice friendly staff the treated me like family I recommend this hotel for many reasons specially its in the middle of everything if I can will give them 10 stars. Very clean and very safe.
check in and check out is slow, but in general it was an excellent experience
hotel and location is good, good staff
My stay was great
The room was received, and then I noticed some food in the room, and the reception was informed of what I saw, so the problem was resolved and I was upgraded to another clean room
Clean
Few days in Amman
the staff was good , but you have to call more than one time to respond to you .. keep forgotten to bring towels couple of times
The lobby area is beautiful, and the pools and the spa are amazing. The room was large although a little dated and the tile in the shower could use some updating. The water pressure in the shower was great though. It was a lovely place to stay.
There was no hot water … and by the time hot water was available I checked out
Perfect place to stay
ممتاز الاوتيل والناس الي بشتغلوا هناك مناح ان شاء الله رح انزل فيه المره الجاي
The building and rooms were old and dated. My shower had tons of mold on it. The listing originally said breakfast was included at this hotel (which is why I booked this place), but when I arrived my reservation had no breakfast and I had to pay 10 JD every day. The other “restaurants” inside the hotel have cover fees because they offer entertainment, so an affordable dinner was very difficult to find. The location in Amman is just ok, it was about a 30 min walk to rainbow st. And even further for tourist areas. Definitely recommend using Uber or taxi. I hate to be a snobby American, (but for other Americans thinking about staying here) I’ve stayed in Holiday Inn’s that are nicer and less expensive.
The toilets near the pool were too dirty. The food at the pool bar was very bad. We ordered beef burgers which didn't taste good at all. The staff were not very friendly at the reception. The toilet inside the room was clean though. The room service members were very friendly and helpful. Thank you
Worst Club Lounge ever
My booking was inclusive of Club lounge but the Club only opens between 6 to 8 and whenever i needed a coffee i had to pay for it at Ivvy. I only used the lounge for "super" and it was awful. Nothing is available to drink even water was hiddent behind the counter.
Bad experience
Excellent
Nice trip and hotel
Comfortable stay
Amazing stay
Fabulous
No one help with loading and unloading bags. People out side are not friendly.
The place is beautiful and the staff went to the max with service’s
Very nice property!
All in all, it was OK.
Service vary bad and valet parking
We love this old school Jordanian glam hotel. The three heated pools and several very hot spas are incredible, beautiful tiling. The location is central. The staff is hospitable, the breakfast amazing. The rooms are a bit aged but spacious, the views are incredible and the beds very comfortable.
Habib who provided the hookah in the Chester restaurant was very professional and Bernard the waitress who took care of us in the Chester restaurant was great. The young man who checked us in was exceptional he always was ready to answer any questions. When ever we had a service request it was answered immediately.
nice staff & clean room
Great customer service and nice room
Everyone was nice
Great location and great service.
Decent property
Bill Clinton Stayed Here!
We enjoyed our time! The good: amazing breakfasts in an amazing atrium room! Very nice city view from the upper floors. We had a very nice meal at the Asian restaurant. The less-good: This hotel isn't new anymore, and the room, though very comfortable, felt a bit dated. Also it didn't seem that there were restaurants/shopping close by that we could walk to, which would have been nice (although we didn't explore too deeply).
Very nice hotel
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this comfortable and impressive hotel with its central location
Super nice and clean
Excellent
Very good
Convenient location. Plenty of restaurants around.
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Was very nice Hotel near everything and great accommodations.
Excellent I will stay again
I mostly like everything, the hospitalization and the area
Very well
Like the hotel but not the rooms it’s normal rooms need new furniture look like
Quiet hotel in spite many rooms an large hotel. Furnitture well maintained.
The property location is great. close to downtown Amman. The property is clean and rooms are cleaned daily. Staff is great and treat their customers with respect. They have 2 indoor and one outdoor heated pools. 2 jacuzzis, and they are very clean. Also they have a great gym with all kind of equipment. Towels and water are provided in the gym. The only issue I had is that sometimes when they clean the room, they forget to place towels, shampoo and soap. it happened 3 times out of 16 days Out of these 3 times they forget to replace one of the 3 items. But once you let them know they immediately bring it to your room. That was not a big deal. Overall I was very happy with my stay.
The customer service was top notch, everyone I encountered went above and beyond. Especially Izzy, the quality assurance manager. I was able to have a beautiful meal at the restaurant Chesters during sunset and get a massage afterwards. They are compliant with COVID regulations and also orchestrated for me to get a PCR test before my flight the next day. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Great experience.
Friendly helpful staff. Clean room.
very decent and pleasant stay; comfortable, well serviced, very welcoming, food is very good, easy access to different locations in the city.
Everything was fine, but the furniture is old and needs renovation.. Also the room was clean but full of dust
Service staff are pleasant and good yet the Hotel it self is in poor condition, furniture is old and broken, amenities are of poor quality, very poor breakfast buffet and poor snacks for the Executive Club. I wouldn't give them more than 3/10 .. the 3 is due to good staff and good locations yet the rest is not good at all. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Noisy ! Staff is local and asking everyone at main door where you going and what you do ! No respect to the privacy ! Security is not nice at all .... furniture and material very old
I liked everything is the best hotel number 1 the staff great very clean everything easy
Excellent service professional staff at front and guest services desks. Very good security Very clean hotel Taxis Helped us with our airline reservation, were others failed to correct the problem we had. Thank you so much
Amazing stay
Amazing stay... like always never let down by staff at the said hotel
Dirty bathrooms mold , sheets they move three times Allergic to mold
1 night in Amman
5 star for service, cleanliness and comfort. However the operation seemed targeted and prioritised for business travellers. My family felt quite out of place. Room was supposed to be ready at 2pm, we tried to check in at 12nn and were told that it should be ready in an hour or so, we return an hour and a half later and told the room would need to take another 30 minutes. It wasnt until 2:30pm that our room was finally ready. Definitely took too long wait, not a very pleasant waiting time after our 19-hour flight. Nothing was offered to us while we were waiting at the lobby, while other business travellers were served tea at the concierge.
Everything , but when I order the lintel soup to was very bad
I like every thing stuff very cool food on time and delicious reasonable price
interesting architecture, comfortable rooms. Good location
clean & class, you feel home and has the things you need - restaurants and bar, 2 swimming pool, women and man separated pools, close to shopping and safe area. lounge and cafe. if you wana go Amman - Jordan ?? Go to Royal Amman.
Nice to stay.
It was nice to stay in this hotel everytime i visited to Jordan. Hotel employees are all nice & kind as well. However hotel breakfast needs little improvement
Great hotel, really ROYAL

Good hotel, nice staff
Good hotel, nice indoor outdoor swimming pool, all staff are great and helpful and so polite can't be better
Had a wonderful and relaxing time. The spa was clean and had all the amenities and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Excellent hotel
Fantastic stay. Excellent service throughout and by the staff. I will be returning to Amman on a regular basis and the Royal will definitely be my preferred hotel option.
Great hotel in a central location
Excellent facilities and staff. Central location and great service. Would stay there again.
Central to Amman
Nice hotel, with a nice gym and indoor and outdoor pools.
Delayed in check in
Great location and good customer service , however I had to wait for my room to “be ready” as the hotel receptionist claimed even though I checked in around 3:40pm , they had us waiting until some VIP guest arrived in the hotel and they gave us the room key right after he checked in . They should’ve been more honest about it and not claim that the room isn’t ready coz it was obvious. The free drinks in the hotel lobby was a nice touch but I’d appreciate honesty over a free drink .
Great location and good service
Got a room with an amazing view of the city but the windows were too dirty , Dusty and muddy they ruined the whole scene
the price to high for this hotel
i think the rate for the room i had its too much, there was no view in the room, its just sleep in four walls i was not comfortable at all and i asked them to give me a different, but they refused, and they were so mean
