Excellent property and perfect staff!

Property in perfect conditions, excellent facilities and super friendly and efficient staff. I was there during a typhoon level 3 alert. The airport was closed and a lot of clients got struck. The front desk, concierge and guest relations were simply amazing! The management did huge efforts to minimize clients’ discomfort. Amazing!

Brilliant place to stay for a relaxing beech holiday

Positives : Good size room with lovely view, quiet, pretty garden, well maintained, good food, especially the Wave restaurant. Not quite a 5 star hotel, but ok. The staff helppat the front desk far from 5 star standard, more reminiscent of a second rate guest house We’ve booked a boat trip on the other side of the island through the concierge(Jimmy) thinking that even though taxi was far more expensive, at least it would be turn up on time. Wrong! Taxi was 30 minutes late, it took a lot of discussions, a phone call to find the taxi. Later the driver told us that he waited outside! Surely it should have occurred to him to come to reception to find us! The taxi was not the very clean and driver was very bad : he was very slow, constantly drifted over the middle line, occasionally having to swerve to miss oncoming vehicles, even managed to get lost . The boat trip was not exactly what we were told either, I would not recommend it. We also made the mistake of agreeing to hire a car through the concierge (same one, Jimmy). It was a bit pricey, but we were told that we’ll have a brand new car and no card transaction fees. On the morning of our departure we were brought a 2019 plate Kia picanto, dirty and covered in scratches. As we were leaving the hotel we eventually no choice but to accept the car. Someone was supposed to meat us at the airport to collect the car 5 days later, and, of course, they didn’t! When we called them from airport they argued that we were a day early!

Overall, me and my wife had a beautiful stay here during our honeymoon.

We recently stayed at Le Méridien for our honeymoon, and it was an experience we’ll never forget. The moment we walked into the resort, we were greeted with a breathtaking ocean view from the reception area, an absolutely stunning way to start our stay. The resort itself is meticulously clean and surrounded by beautiful scenery, making it the perfect setting for a romantic getaway. The all-inclusive package is a must; it allowed us to relax completely without worrying about additional expenses. The location is also ideal, offering a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to local attractions. One of the highlights of our trip was renting the jetty for a private dinner. The food prepared by the private chef was simply incredible, but what truly made the evening special was the outstanding service from our two private waiters. They were not only attentive and professional but also willing to capture special moments for us, taking beautiful photos that we’ll cherish forever. The spa was another high point of our visit, with excellent service that left us feeling completely rejuvenated. While the overall experience was fantastic, we did notice that poolside service could be a bit slow during the day. Additionally, while some staff members were phenomenal, going above and beyond to make our honeymoon special, others were a bit less attentive. Overall, Le Méridien was an incredible choice for our honeymoon.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was the most perfect trip! Our first all inclusive experience and we were truly spoilt…every single staff member was friendly and attentive, our room was amazing with the sea view, the different dining options around the resort were delicious and there was so much choice! Also loved the day, sunset and evening programme of activities that the hotel had on everyday There was so much space and different areas of the hotel so plenty to fill your days It was nice perfect relaxing trip we needed after our wedding I will definitely stay here again when I return to Mauritius!

The hotel is perfect, with 5 star restaurants. The staff could not be any more helpful and friendly. It was ana amazing stay. The beach surrounding the hotel is beautiful, the sea you must wear swim shoes. Would return again and again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the hotel, service and facilities were exceptional. Just a slight shame it’s in a very remote area.

Lovely hotel and location, can’t say a bad word about the experience we had there. The building, the scenery and the water were all really nice. The only downside for us was the value for money. For the money you pay, I would expect more to do in the resort and far less supplementary costs. We came here on our honeymoon looking for a luxury once in a lifetime type experience and the amount of things that were additional costs on the menus and the general price of things (including the alcohol) was too high and put us off really relaxing and treating ourselves. I would have spent far more if I felt I was getting better value. Engaging evening entertainment was lacking, whilst the artists that were on were amazing they were all very relaxation mode and on an evening left us with not much to do, so each night we just went back to the room after food. The staff were brilliant and attentive, the rooms were nice and the food was good but I don’t think I would stay here again, there was nothing special beyond the beautiful Mauritian scenery.

Short business trip booked and short notice (night before). Excellent responsiveness to health requirements accommodated within the short period. Experience was positive enough to inspire me to consider returning for a vacation.

Average hotel in a good location

Stayed for three nights as part of eight night trip Positives - room had a nice view of the beach and was a decent size - Staff helpful enough even if they got a few things wrong - Large pools and access to beach - Kumin restaurant was better than other restaurants we tried (but still only just above average) Negatives - Room smelt of damp probably because the shower leaked all over the bathroom every time we used it - Fixtures and fittings looked tired and worn in the rooms and communal area - ‘Spa’ is in major need of overhaul. The jacuzzi was disgusting with exposed concrete everywhere - Paid for a 45 minute pedicure that only lasted 20 minutes - safe broke twice in two days - very disconcerting to store valuables in there - we checked in late and the lobby was like a rave - very loud music playing we couldn’t hear the concierge check us in. We are in our 30s so not exactly past it just yet but not what you need after 13 hours of travel - routes to the lobby from our room closed off without warning so had to walk around different routes to get to breakfast or to go to the lobby. Just made to feel less worthy of being there when having route blocked by large plywood barrier in the doors - sold the premium chefs experience at Jade. It was a totally average tapanyaki in an over lit dinning room with other guests who had not paid taking photos of the preparation over our shoulders. Food tasted worse than a local take away (included wagyu beef option which was poor)

A wonderful property perfect for a relaxing, indulgent holiday. We stayed here for 7 nights and had one of the ocean facing rooms. The room was huge with very comfy beds. We had an all inclusive package so it was very convenient, even the mini bar(once during the stay) was included. The view from the room was to die for and it’s a very well maintained property. The dining options are great with a very lavish buffet spread in Nomad restaurant along with 3 other restaurants. We found the pools clean and the water activities fun. In the evening there is live music in the lobby and the whole place is so lively. Plenty of games and recreational activities, ideal for kids. The staff are polite and courteous. We have come back extremely relaxed and content. Highly recommend. Tip: top floor rooms have amazing views, go for that.

A really gorgeous resort based in the North of the island. I went with my partner for a romantic holiday and it was lovely place to relax and unwind. The team can't do enough for you and really looked after us. Make sure you pay for the All Inclusive package as it's well worth it - aside from the buffet, all restaurants are Ala Carte and although not everything is included without a supplement, we found there was enough to choose from. We particularly enjoyed Kumin which is an Indian restaurant (where they prepared the most amazing tandoori dishes, curries & nan bread) and watching the sunset at Waves, listening to some gorgeous voices & acoustic vibes - the entertainment was generally very good. We also took advantage of the water sports which are all included. Just make sure you grab some sea shoes when you collect your towel as the coral / stones make getting into the sea painful unless you are prepared! A special call-out to Artee in customer services who was lovely & very helpful, Owen in the bar and Juliano who provided a lot of entertainment. We'll be back :)

Everything in during our stay was great, the staff was adorable! Every day started with a delicious breakfast, by far the best we've eaten, the pastries were our favorite part! We will come back here without hesitation!

Lovely location, friendly staff and loads of water activities options. The kids club requires a special mention - the staff there is very active and kept kids very engaged, to the point that the children looked forward to meeting them the next day.

The infinity pool next to our room overlooking the private beach was great and convenient. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Fantastic Staff and property

The hotel was in a great location and the facilities are great! From water sports, to the fab gym, the pool area, the beach and hot tub, we had plenty to do on site. March was the perfect time to visit as the hotel was not too crazily busy. The hotel was in a great location and the facilities are great! Upon leaving, we asked for a late checkout which was much welcomed as we had a late flight back. I have to admit, we were so overwhelmed with the genuine friendliness of everyone that we felt a little sad leaving. We felt welcomed like family, treated like VIPs and it was all genuine so thank you to everyone at Le Meridian for making our stay incredible. There are so many names to mention that made our trip just special and it made the trip that much more nicer. As I mentioned, anyone we spoke to, were warm and friendly. From the reception staff, the chefs, our waiters/waitresses, cleaning team, beach and bar team! There’s a great team culture! I would whole heartedly recommend Le Meridian for a stay in Mauritius and I would most definitely come back again!

We were disappointed because at the arrival they give us orientation and tell us the butler will be looking after us for everything we need and never come until the day before the last day I found him. The shuttle that they offer to take us to the restaurant and around the property always takes too much time to come and pick up us. At this waves restaurant few dogs were close to the restaurant area at dinner time. For the money that we paid we expected better service overall.

Mauritius and Le Meridien a winning combination

Excellent location, staff very very friendly and always ready to help with a smile. Of all the restaurants Jade was really good and the chef Adeste is ready to make areal difference. Some of the water sports are provided free by the hotel as complimentary

Went for my Birthday, ocean view room was simply breathtaking. Staff was courteous and pleasant, Jane (Manager) went above and beyond to make sure my stay was all I could’ve dreamed of. Grounds were well maintained, everyone was so accommodating. 12 out of 10 ⭐️

This hotel is amazing. From arrival, the ocean view and the property takes your breath away. Staff are extremely kind and go out of their way to help you regardless of what you need. The rooms are spacious, catered to twice a day, clean, and pleasant to stay in. The view from the rooms is also spectacular. There isn't a single thing I can point out as negative and I would gladly go back there. Breakfast at the hotel is of excellent quality and offers many options for all tastes. The selection changes every day and staff is wonderfully trained to take care of every need. The hotel disposes of 4 restaurants, serving all tastes. We found the prices steeper than what we would have expected, in some cases even more expensive than London. Nevertheless this resort has everything one could wish for and even if you don't want to travel around the island like we did, you won't miss a thing.

Service outstanding

We had an amazing stay at Le Meridien, everything was perfect from the beach location to the rooms, but the highlight is the team! All staff members were extremely kind and helpful. I particularely want to mention the great aquafit sessions and the excellent recommendations that I got from your personal trainer for my back problems.

The facility was quite serene and every moment spent there was worth it

Lilah did a great job cleaning and maintain our room. She was super friendly, and always available. She went above and beyond to make us feel right at home and taken care of!

Alles eigenlijk tip top, met name het personeel. Kamer prima, van alle gemakken voorzien. Alleen wat masaal en daardoor minder sfeer. Weinig bomen, tuin, vrij nieuw. Moet nog vorm kriijgen, deed me wat denken aan een nieuwbouw project. Zelf voorkeur voir Lux le Morne, waar we vandaan kwamen. Iets gemoedelijker en meer ambiance.

Definately stay in the Nirvana adult only side if you want to have quiet stay without the noise of kids. Nirvana rooms also have butlers that are amazing especially Kesaven. Also the Nirvana pool bar employees took good care of us especially Espoir. We stayed here for honeymoon and truly enjoyed it.

from South Korea who stayed here for our honeymoon from November 13th to 16th. The overall satisfaction with the food, environment, location, facilities, and scenery were fantastic. However, I would like to tell you about an unpleasant experience. I am very dissatisfied with the service attitude of the staff. We clearly requested the honeymoon service by email before our arrival, but it was not provided. We requested it again to the Chinese staff member at the reception desk, and they said they would process it soon and just made us wait. We waited for 2 hours without even unpacking our luggage, and eventually we visited the reception twice more, but it was not processed. After waiting for another 30 minutes, we made a request to the head manager and our request was processed right away. The Chinese staff member just made us wait and did nothing, neglecting us and wasting our precious time. I hope that he will be punished accordingly.

Un personnel adorable, très à l’écoute et prêt à satisfaire nos moindres demandes: tout est parfait, ne changez rien ! Néanmoins, une structure, des chambres et un confort d’un niveau davantage 4 étoiles (que 5). Idem concernant le Spa.

Le personnel est au petit soin, tres poli et d’ne extreme gentillesse. L’hotel est bien decoré, les chambres grandes, la literie tres confortable. Ils m’ont fait beneficier dun depart tardif et j’ai pu conserverbla chambre jusqua 16h. Les aoeritifs sont tres chers.

Un grand merci à tout le personnel du Meridien , merci à Nicolas, Jouana et Rodrigo. Un séjour merveilleux, le personnel aux petits soins est toujours très attentionné, nous reviendrons l’année prochaine. Merci à toutes et tous.

Tolles Hotel

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Urlaub im Le Meridien. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick im Bereich „Nirvana“ (Zimmer 435). In diesem Bereich hat man einen reservierten Pool und Strand, die Erholung garantieren. Die gesamte Hotelanlage ist sehr schön und wird sehr gut gepflegt. Das Hotel ist in jeder Hinsicht sehr gut und eine klare Empfehlung. Zwei Punkte möchten wir aber besonders hervorheben. Das Essen hat immer geschmeckt. Egal was wir in welchen der Restaurants bestellt haben, es hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt! Das Personal hat uns jeden Tag beeindruckt. Ausnahmslos jeder war sehr zuvorkommend und immer freundlich, der Gast ist hier wirklich König. Die Mitarbeiter des Butler-Service haben sich großartig um uns gekümmert und immer ein aufmerksames Auge auf uns gehabt. Im Restaurant O Jade haben uns insbesondere Baboo B und Ashlay R immer wieder schöne Momente bereitet. Ashlay, Dein spezieller Tee gegen die Halsschmerzen meiner Frau war ein Traum!

Tolle Anlage mit großartigem Strand, verschiedene Pools, Restaurants, Bars. Hängematten, Liegen, Strandbetten, tolle Entspannungsnöglichkeiten. Super freundliches Personal, außergewöhnlich aufmerksam. Außergewöhnliches Frühstücksbuffet, sehr vielfältig. Freizeitangebote wir Sportkurse, Fitnessraum, kleiner Spabereich, kleiner Schnorchelausflug, Glasbodenboot oder Wasserski. Wirklich toll!

Séjour exceptionnel

Très bel hôtel Personnel aux petits soins, très attentionné Équipements dans les chambres parfait Petit déjeuner royal avec une vue sur l'ocean Tout était parfait Nous aurions apprécié d avoir au moins une piscine chauffée, le jacuzzi est venu compenser ce petit manque.

Ein Rundum perfekter Urlaub ! Angefangen beim herzlichen Empfang bei der Ankunft, über den gesamten Aufenthalt bis zur Abreise! Das gesamte Team ist soo herzlich, zuvorkommend und einfach nur toll ! Die Lage ist grandios, dass Angebot perfekt und das Ambiente zu jeder Tageszeit ein Traum! Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder ❤️ 15/10 Sterne !!
