Beautiful property but food option were limited
Is the most beautiful place that I visited in my life. The hotel is amazing and the people are very friendly. I definitely will be back.
Le Bora Bora Pearl was amazing. Best described as a “Garden of Eden” experience. From the views, to the room, to the staff experience. My wife and I agreed it was the most amazing and unforgettable vacation we ever had. We also agreed to come back every 5 years on our anniversary's. Thank you
Returned with family 19 years after our honeymoon. Beautifully updated but with the same stunning beach and lagoon and spectacular views and grounds. The original and still the best resort out on the motus.
The staff - they were very attentive and did everything with care and love.
The most memorable holiday and the over water bungalows are amazing
I have never had a better vacation in my life
Very good. Mrs Elizabeth was very especial for us.
Friendly and helpful staff, excellent food, very very clean. Very relaxing resort. If you get the chance to get a deal on the overwater villas, take it; we’ll worth it.
Over water bungalows are the way to go! Very serene and beautiful location. A slice of paradise!
The resort is beautiful and the food and staff excellent. We came to snorkel and wished there was close snorkeling opportunities. Their small coral garden is just ok. But we took and excellent trip w their recommended guide.
Great stay hotel in Bora Bora
The hotel didn't feel overcrowded. I had a great attention by all guests including those from the boutique store and swimming pool. Would recommend dining at the main restaurant. Breakfast buffet was good but not overly impressive with the blings and fancy food options but was fed well. Would recommend it for the overall Polynesian experience and closeness to the airport.
People were nice and friendly, the hotel itself it’s breathtaking sunsets sunrise quietness around, just perfect.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The resort was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.
The breakfast was delicious and offered so many options The lunch and dinner menu could have been a little more tastier. Over water bungalow and surrounding water was beautiful Staff was excellent -5 star and above. Snorkeling , kayak and Paddle board etc. right at the resort. A once in a lifetime vacation for myself.
Everyone made a wonderful experience
Property was beautiful. Amazing gardens. Lovely breakfast. Good transportation to the main island.
This was a fantastic experience. Suites were incredible, food was great and the staff absolutely amazing. Relaxing yet so many things to do should you want some adventure and activities.
We had a wonderful stay! The rooms and resort were in great, new and clean condition. It was amazing to watch the marine life at night in the overwater bungalow. The staff were welcoming and attentive. The only downside was the food. We felt it wasn’t at a 4 star caliber. Saying that, the water, beaches, and gardens compensated and we loved our stay.
It was my second Christmas in a row spending it there and it does not disappoint. I love it!
Everything was splendid but the most touching gesture was that the resort provided us a day room from 11-4 for our evening flight back to the U.S.. we were so grateful that we were able to enjoy the pool and have a nice lunch, shower n repack prior to departure!
Here’s a polished review for your stay at Le Bora Bora: Our stay at Le Bora Bora was nothing short of extraordinary! We chose a beach bungalow with a secluded private pool, and it was truly the perfect choice. The bungalow was spacious, beautifully designed with tropical decor, and felt like our own private oasis. Having direct beach access was an incredible perk—waking up to the sound of the waves and stepping right onto the pristine sand was unforgettable. While overwater bungalows are iconic, I would highly recommend the beach/land accommodations for a more private and serene experience. The secluded pool and easy access to the beach added a level of relaxation that made our stay even more special. Everything from the lush surroundings to the attentive service made this resort feel like a slice of paradise. If you’re planning a trip to Bora Bora, Le Bora Bora is the place to be—especially if you’re looking for luxury, tranquility, and a more exclusive beachfront experience. We would return in a heartbeat.
The whole place is immaculate the beach the beach hut the few people that did want to chat were wonderful however the food was not for us is the best way to describe it. The food I saw looked great however didn’t suit us. The breakfast was average but was our only saving grace. Hot food was cold and old, I had to order a fresh omelette and ask for fresh cooked hash browns and fresh cooked bacon daily as the presentation was a let down for hot items and when I did the look of distain was cold. Cold items looked great but we don’t do raw fish or seafood. Eventually we had a great steak on 1 night I have to say. Go to Liku Liku Resort in Fiji to find out what food perfection is. If the food was great then Le Bora Bora would have me back very often and the beach alone would probably get me back Jean the water sports guy was a top bloke loves live went above and beyond I have to say.
Absolutely perfect.
Our stay at Le Bora Bora was amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and taken care of. Our over water bungalow was super comfortable and had everything we needed, plus the views were just stunning. The service was honestly next level—every detail was handled perfectly. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable getaway.
Really nice local owned resort. Boutique, very quiet. The SPA area is very natural and nice. Bungalows are great. We saw rays, fish and sharks!
Our room was very nice form the decoration to the excellent maid service, the staff went to every extent to make your stay special.
The resort sit in a quite place where fount Otemanu's dramatic peaks seemed even more awe-inspiring The expansive blue lagoon stretched as far as the eye could see. The endless shades of turquoise and azure created a surreal, almost otherworldly experience.
The hotel and our overwater bungalow were spectacular.. the ground were immaculate and the coral garden had lots of fish. The staff were all super friendly, too. Even our teenagers were impressed…
Incredible Beauty
Incredibly beautiful resort with amazingly friendly and helpful staff. We were given a free upgrade to a room with a private pool. Would definitely recommend the hotel!
The property itself was beautiful and well-maintained, but unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by other issues. There was a significant amount of trash around the area, which was disappointing. Additionally, the staff was unaccommodating, which made the stay uncomfortable. Overall, I cannot recommend this property based on my experience.
Amazing Resort!
I really like the breakfast buffet in the restaurant as well as dinner. We got lucky to see a dancing show too while having dinner on a Friday evening. Everything else was great! Probably more American TV channels will have a better audience
We stayed in the water bungalow and it was an amazing experience!
Pure luxury and serenity- Spent more than two weeks in the Tahitian Islands, husband and I spent 3 nights at Le Bora Bora to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, after a week of crazy fun on catamaran with friends. I wish we could've taken the paddle boards further away from the resort to explore!
Absolutely gorgeous property however the service was very average and the ability to book dinner reservations, spa treatments and excursions was quite difficult. To me they were understaffed and seemed to get booked up several days in advance for the majority of things we wanted to do.
The property and rooms are stunning. Very good value versus other Bora Bora hotels. Would stay again. Be aware that the small port on the island with some larger ship traffic across from the main rooms and the property faces sunrise vs sunset. Exceptional visit with amazing decor in rooms. Food was good quality and varied. Had a few small room service issues related to order accuracy. Had an incident where an employee tried to double dip for a cash tip on top of the tip left on a room service bill. Generally had more language barrier issues than some lesser priced properties in Tahiti and Moorea. Still would highly recommend due to strength of rooms, location, food quality, and value.
nice big shore to walk out in the ocean and the view
Beautiful resort, stunning views all around. Friendly staff and good food! Thank you so much for the great stay!
Our favorite of 4 hotels we stayed in during our trip to the French Polynesia. Love all of the sustainability things they are doing. Highly recommend staying here!!!
Perfect!
Beautiful property, recently renovated and definitely has Polynesian charm and influence. Lovely location, great lagoon for swimming and lounging. We saw sharks and rays every night. Would stay again!
An unbelievable and beautiful resort that made it feel like a dream come true, staff were so accommodating and made our stay so relaxed and effortless. We stayed in the overwater bungalow and so glad we did! Something to experience if you can when visiting Bora Bora :) core memories of our stay and hope to visit again in the near future.
The resort was beautifully situated across the lagoon from Mount Otemanu and the grounds were spectacular. The overwater cabana was very clean, modern, updated and exuded Tahitian style. My wife and I have a wonderful time on our honeymoon and both of us were perfectly content with hanging around the resort and soaking in the views from our cabana for 4 days. We typically are "go, go, go" so this was a big change of pace for us, but the paddleboards, kayaks, and snorkeling were nice to have when we got restless.
Fantastic family vacation. Amazing water. Beautiful rooms and great staff. Thank you for allowing us to create unforgettable memories.
Best view of the mountain frime from everywhere on this resort. Truly magnificent resort
Beautiful Bora Bora
We stayed 3 nights in an overwater bungalow for our Wedding Anniversary. It was superb. We had a view of the Mountain/seaside not the lagoon. The weather was nice in June a little bit of rain on the first day but it got better and better. Food is nice but you have to eat at this resort there is nowhere else. Three restaurants. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have ha. Chef cooked eggs any way you wanted. Fresh fruit, pastries, yoghurt all very nice. So when you fly into Bora Bora airport is on its own island and where you walk to get your bags the ferries are right there to take you to your accommodation. Its not a cheap holiday but a special place for a holiday.
Magnificent place
Beautiful property with excellent service. Transfers to and from the airport via water taxi were included, which wasn’t made clear from the email confirmation. Very romantic setting for our 30th wedding anniversary! Would definitely recommend
Everything was so wonderful didn’t want to leave. Rooms are fantastic in every way. Clean, comfortable and in perfect condition. The view was to die for. Food was great and staff were lovely. Hope to return. Forgot to tell you the water is so warm
lovely luxury stay. would stay again
lovely stay!
great stay!
Unbelievably beautiful place. Amazing staff.
Just wonderful! Fabulous location, food and service!
There is nothing I did not like about this resort. It sits in the perfect location, minutes away from the airport, with a smooth sail across the ocean. I loved that the beach is private, so no bother from anyone selling products. I met a lot of friendly hotel staff who went above and beyond, Heikalani being one if them. I absolutely loved my villa. I thought it was going to be bigger but still perfect and with a pool, great touch! Mauruuru Le Bora Bora!
Amazing stay !!! Expensive food and drinks
Beautiful property
Snorkeling right off of our bungalow deck in the coral gardens was fantastic!!
Thanks so much for “rescuing” our hat out of the water on our departure. Friendly helpful mostly local staff. Beautiful resort in beautiful location. Mau ruru roa. 👍😃
This is was a great stay, highly recommended
Absolutely wonderful stay
The property itself is stunning and amazing. Our room was also quite spectacular. We had some issues getting checked into our room in a timely manner. The staff completely mismanaged our check-in. We sat out in the incredible heat for 6.5 hours waiting for our room to be ready. When our room was finally ready, instead of helping the folks that had been baked in the heat for the entire day, they check-in the people fresh off the ferry boat.
Great place to stay with a family. End of pontoon OWB was incredible! Should be a 5 star resort!
We liked everything about Le Bora Bora. The end of pontoon over-the-water bungalow was incredible. Staff was friendly and courteous. Look forward to another stay there.
Stunningly beautiful. Extremely well maintained. Excellent, friendly service. Great food & drinks. Gorgeous accommodations. Would go back tomorrow & recommend to anyone. We travel a lot & this is by far the best resort style hotel we have stayed at. Thankyou!
Le Bora Bora is not just a hotel; it's an experience. From the moment you step off the boat at the airport, the staff greets you warmly, and their friendliness feels genuine. The overwater cabins are nicely done, and while some show signs of wear, ours seemed newly renovated, which was a pleasant surprise. Inside, everything is top-notch. During our stay, there were a few small service mishaps at the restaurants, like forgotten plates or mixed-up orders. However, the staff's friendliness made up for these errors easily. I'd rather have friendly service with a few mistakes than perfect service with no warmth. Yes, it's pricey, but it's worth it compared to slightly cheaper options like Hilton Moorea, where we also stayed. The difference in experience is clear, making Le Bora Bora a solid choice. Overall, it's a five-star experience, and I'd definitely come back for another memorable stay.
Excellent guest service. Very accommodating staff and relaxing environment. They are very professional and friendly. Especially Elizebeth, helpful and understanding. We appreciate her tremendous service and we will definitely recommend this hotel chain. We stay both Le Taha’a by pearl and Bora bora by pearl at this trip and had a great time . I recommend saying three days at each property.
The setting for the resort is absolutely stunning. We were engaged there 20 years ago and returned to celebrate our 20-year anniversary and could not be more pleased with our return visit with our 14-year-old daughter. The resort is even better than before. The accommodations and grounds are impeccable. What makes the resort so amazing is the staff that makes you feel like family as soon as you step off the boat from the airport. There is plenty to do there or you can do nothing at all but sip a cool drink and enjoy the unparalleled scenery. We can't wait to go back!
This is just a super hotel. Very close to the airport, staff is super friendly, meticulous maintenance of the property. Very good food. Super value compared to other resorts nearby.
Stayed at the resort for 7 days the first week of March. Amazing property, great staff, very clean. Beach area is perfect and water is so clear and warm. Plenty of loungers. Food options are fine for a shorter stay but somewhat limited for a longer stay. Property is isolated and need the hotel shuttle to access the mainland which is also the case for all the other higher end hotels.
one of the most beautiful resorts i have ever been to in the world, and bora bora
Best 2 day stay in Bora Bora <3
Amazing resort! We stayed in a lagoon view overwater bungalow and wow! what a spectacular accommodation. On top of the awe inspiring location and bungalow, the service was excellent and it felt like all of the staff were welcoming and dedicated to making our stay as enjoyable as possible. We loved the half day snorkel tour. Overall the food was decent but we felt like the Otemanu restaurant food wasn’t quite up to par. There are options for food though, and the Polynesian raw fish and ahe poke bowl at the Mickey Mickey restaurant were delicious!! Cocktails from the pool bar were also top notch. Overall we felt as though our money was well spent at this beautiful hotel :)
This was the best place I have ever stayed at. We did not want to leave!!
This hotel just top notch. Service, employees, food, room,Manedgers. I’m just can’t say enough about this property. We’ll be back for sure.
The garden villa with private plunge pool was divine! Staff were incredible and breakfasts were delicious. We loved our stay!
Staff were super friendly, and enjoyed our time, booked jet skis snorkeling, resort is polished and super clean, not many sea life unless you feed them, coral gardens looked great
Overwater Bungalow Mountain View Beauty
Incredible hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was clean, comfortable, and absolutely beautiful! The staff are all extremely friendly and very welcoming and accommodating. They truly want to ensure your happiness and comfort.
Really love the beautiful place!
Great
Pure heaven on Earth. Spent 3 nights here for Christmas and it was truly magical. The staff are all amazing caring and sweet, took amazing care of me the entire time. I cannot wait to return someday.
Beautiful property with friendly smiling staff. Coral garden has amazing variety of fish to see with or without snorkeling. Only mild negative would be the lack of variety at breakfast buffet.
The resort and staff were excellent. The food was very good. Our overwater bungalow with pool was amazing. There was a coral garden with lots of colorful fish and plenty of beach activities. We enjoyed the spa and the property is beautifully landscaped. The only issue that we had was with the overwater pool. When it was windy out, the water from the infinity pool would blow back onto the deck. It even sprayed into the room a few times when the wind gusted. It would be great if you could lower the pool level a little in the wind so it didn't spray back. Other than that the resort was fantastic.
Amazing Views from every angle. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect.
The setting on the beach and the lagoon is very nice, the rooms over the water are gorgeous, the dining options are 3 and of different levels of “classy”. There is more to experience tgan the time there allows
This property is truly a paradise on earth. The entire property is clean, and the staff are very nice. I love everything about this paradise. We will definitely come back here again.
We have nothing but amazing things to say about this resort! Wow!! Starting with the property itself: it is stunning and so clean. The rooms are super nice and clean, as there is housekeeping twice a day! It has its own little beach to lay and swim and a big pool! There are 4 restaurants all delicious but we really loved Miki Miki and the breakfast at Otemanu. Next, the staff!! Incredible. Every person we came across was just the sweetest and so genuine. They truly made our stay so memorable and we are so grateful to have experienced such kindness. If you are looking for a resort to stay on the island of Bora Bora, we would recommend this resort a thousand times, you won’t regret it!!!
Wonderful resort!
A dream spot
Beautiful resort, love the buffet!
We celebrated our honeymoon here and our stay exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and welcoming! The overwater bungalow was spacious and comfortable- we didn’t want to leave. All of our meals and drinks were tasty and delicious- we had breakfast each morning, pool bar for lunches and had room service and dined in at the wine bar for dinner. Their spa was top notch- both of us enjoying the facilities and our treatments. The staff was so helpful and accommodating, very much appreciated to make our weekend super special!
A beautiful hotel
We stayed in a beach front room. The room is large and luxurious and the bathroom is incredible. The room has a very private garden and an amazing verandah overlooking the sea that we sat on, especially in the morning.
Beautiful resort with friendly staff.
The resort and staff were amazing! We had a wonderful stay in the overwater villa with pool. It was what we expected and more! We fell in love with the resort and would come back again!!
The staff was amazing and so considerate and social. Always putting their guests as priority. Mao, the front desk staff member, did such an fantastic job on assisting me and my husband throughout our entire stay. We love the staff and the hotel. We will definitely stay at this hotel the next time we come back to Bora Bora. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a beautiful time in Bora Bora!
Property is absolutely stunning. Transfer to and from resort via catamaran was lovely. Food options were terrific; highly recommend Poerava with the wine pairing. Staff were friendly but interactions were variable. Some more friendly than others. Check-in was ok, we received a tour of the property but no one came to retrieve us at check-in time so we returned to the front desk and did have to wait a little bit while many others had been checked in before us, although we had been on-site for some time. Suggestions we have: Nearly every resort we’ve stayed at have offered yoga classes. How nice it would be to have yoga on SUPs in the lagoon or even the pool would have been amazing. Mosquito repellant availability in rooms would have been nice (I came home with 15 bites) - a bug zapper wand provided but the mosquitoes were tiny and are nearly impossible to zap. Tour of the resort farm would have been nice as well - it was touted that on-site farm produced food for some of the restaurants. More treadmills in the fitness room also would have been appreciated too. A weekly manager’s reception would have also been nice where bites and drinks are served and an opportunity to meet staff and guests. These are minor suggestions. We had the best time and wouldn’t hesitate to return! Our beachfront villa with the pool was gorgeous and very clean. The free SUPs, kayaks were so nice! The complimentary boat taxi was also so wonderful. Mauruuru!
Nice property overall just didn’t receive my “upgrade “ because I’m “gold” status
Bee
The resort was amazing and provided many amenities for guests. The overwater bungalow is very comfortable, clean and an added bonus with free mini-bar.
Beautiful setting for a great vacation!
We had a phenomenal stay at this resort. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We had a garden room which provides for a very private backyard with private swimming pool - we have stayed in an over-the-water bungalow before (different property) and we did not miss it at all. The staff is very friendly and kind - great reflection on Polynesian hospitality. We enjoyed the affordable connection to the main land and used it to explore Vaitape markets and do some shopping. I would highly recommend this property!
